Private Off Road Wine Tour In Chianti From Florence

Our tour guide, Tomasso, was full of information and a great host throughout the day... providing recommendations of local restaurants ans shops, as well as helping us order a couple cases of wine for shipment back to the U.S. Each of the wineries provided a different experience and were increasingly quaint. The second two wineries included tours by the owners (the third owner did not speak english so Tomasso led the tour and tastings) and meeting multiple generations of the families. Tommasso was a gentleman throughout and the more quaint wineries provided a more authentic experience for our family.

We have taken many winery tours in Napa, Greece, Fredericksburg TX etc. if you’re looking for some adventure with Wineries this is perfect for you! Most places we visited I felt were off the beaten track and we had the wineries mostly to ourselves. The lunch included is a ton of food! This company also offers a service to choose from wine bottles from all the wineries to buy and will ship to you in one shipment. Tomasso (I think I spelled correctly) was our guide and he was so kind and attentive!

Trip was fantastic. Our guides were great and shared many great stories. The 3 wineries we went to were amazing. Each very different but all with a great product. We loved trying the fresh olive oils at each as well.

We had an excellent guide and driver. We appreciated being able to order from all of the wineries at the end through the tour company. 10/10 would recommend this tour!

Phillipe was wonderful. Extremely knowledgeable and a joy to be with. The wine tasting was perfect and the scenery was amazing! We had a wonderful lunch at an out of the way vineyard with a spectacular view. We would HIGHLY recommend this tour and ask for Phillipe!!

Our family had a great time with Tommaso and Francesco as our guides. We spent about two weeks in Italy and it was the highlight of our trip. Wine was amazing, food was amazing, and each of the wineries was unique and welcoming. Tommaso and Francesco were wonderful guides and were very knowledgeable of the area. Can not recommend enough!! We are already planning to try another tour on our next trip to Italy.

Gabriele took us to the most amazing vineyards. He was so nice and hospitable. Every owner of each vineyard was amazing and opened their home/ history to us. We truly felt like this was a once in a lifetime experience. We came here for our honeymoon and this experience felt so magical. Thank you to the whole team and Gabriele especially. Grazie Mille!

We did the Off-Road Wine Tour and it was the highlight of our trip! Our guide, Filippo was excellent, professional, and created a very memorable experience. We visited 3 vineyards and had an amazing lunch prepared for us. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for an authentic and genuine Tuscan vineyard experience.

Excellent tour. Could not have asked for anything better. Great wineries, lunch and tour guide… Picked us up in Florence and delivered us back in the evening…. Everything in between was grapes and heaven…

This was a wonderful addition to our trip and a great way to see the country side. We were new to wine tasting, and Leonardo (our guide) walked us step by step through the process. It was fun to see beautiful Tuscany! The winery's we visited felt intimate. It was neat to see the process used to produce the wines. Our lunch was divine on a private family farm. The food was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

This was an absolutely incredible tour. We knew very little about wine beforehand and we agreed our wine knowledge quadrupled by the end, not to mention our knowledge of the Tuscan area. For example, did you know Siena and Florence were/are rivals? We expected to learn about wine but also got an awesome cultural and historical experience. Sylvia at the second winery prepared a fantastic lunch and we were happily full on wine and snacks by the end. The hospitality of the people of Tuscany cannot be matched. Definitely worth a day trip from Florence. And if you can, ask for Fillipo. He was our sommelier for the day and he was absolutely a huge reason we loved this so much. He was born and raised in the Tuscan area and his knowledge of Tuscany and it's wine is unmatched. He took time to answer all of our questions and gave us some tips on picking out wine in Italy, as well as suggestions for the area. We could not have asked for a better guide for the day. We plan to return in the late summer just to book with him again during peak wine season - as we learned, there are other wine regions in Tuscany to explore and we can't imagine a better guide to do it with. I decided to buy for my boyfriend this tour for his birthday, and I couldn’t be more delighted. We were driven in a Land Rover Defender by Leonardo, who was extremely knowledgeable about wines and the area as well as fun and friendly, so we were very glad to spend the day with him. We visited overall three different wineries, all of them exquisite, and we enjoyed a traditional tuscan lunch at La Piaggia, a traditional family run farm. I am italian and I can tell the food and the wines I tasted there are of an incredibly high level. The whole tour was organised very well, I highly recommend it to whoever wants to discover an exclusive off road Tuscany.

My husband, sister in law and I took a private tour of a modern winery and then a family winery & farm. The winery and farm were in the family from 1825. We had lunch at the family farm/ vineyard with all homegrown/ made items. The view was gorgeous, the lunch delicious. We traveled on a dirt road to get to the second winery and from there visited the tour guide’s home village of Castellina. Martina Giuliani was our guide, and also one of the company owners. Her business card says “Authentic Experience Creator”. Definitely the case. We were picked up at our hotel in Florence and returned there. We felt like we got to know Martina. To put this review in context, I live in a valley with 50 wineries and live around 1 1/4 hours from Napa Valley, so I am very familiar with winery tours. Tuscany Private Tour was a unique experience.

Gaia and the rest of the staff made this such an amazing day for me and my friend! If you are looking for a personalized, informative, and extremely fun day of wine-drinking and backroad winding, look no further. The mix of different wineries is perfect to learn about the process, as you tour a large, more industrial operation, a small family-run business, and a medium-sized shop in Castellina. The homemade lunch is absolutely amazing, paired with beautiful views, a stunning family farm, and kind people everywhere. We had such a great time with our guide, Gaia, who seemed to know everything there was to know about the region, the vines, and the people. I'm already booked to do the tour again when my Mom comes to visit. Don't be discouraged by the lack of reviews- it is absolutely the best day ever.

This was one of our favorite days during our 10 day Italy trip! Very convenient hotel pick up in Florence, our tour guide Marco was great! Very knowledgeable and made sure we were well taken care of all day and was great to talk to! Beautiful area of Tuscany the wineries were a great mix to experience and lunch was fantastic! Highly Recommend!
