So happy we did this 3 hour walking tour. Our guide was so very knowledgeable. We were able to hit so many of the main sites that without a guide would have been impossible for us. Thanks for the best day.

Start the most complete and thrilling guided walking tour: you will visit the lively Central market zone, characterized by its workshops and multicolored stalls, where the Medici Chapels, and Basilica di S. Lorenzo, the church of Medici’s Family, are located.
In a short time, you can reach Piazza del Duomo,
where you can admire the Cathedral and its Dome by Brunelleschi,
Giotto’s Bell Tower
and Saint John’s Baptistery with its Gates of Paradise.
The private tour continues then, by visiting the medieval quarters where Dante Alighieri and Beatrice lived. Further on you can find the Palazzo del Bargello
and a few steps away, you will reach Piazza della Signoria, a great “open-air sculpture museum”, overlooked by the imposing Palazzo Vecchio.
Next to it you find the Uffizi Gallery, one of the most important museum all over the world.
Your expert Guide will be glad to escort you to the picturesque Mercato della Paglia (Straw market), where the famous Piglet Fountain is located.
You walk along the street that leads to Ponte Vecchio, the “jewels bridge”.
By crossing the bridge, you will finally reach the wonderful Pitti Palace, where your private tour ends.

Llaria our guide was so good she sent us a message before the tour and was waiting for us at the hotel lobby. We spent 4 hours with her going about all the important pieces of Florence history. Her knowledge was incredible and the tour was well worth it for first time Florence visitors.
One of the true highlights of our time in Florence! Stephi(sp?) was simply delightful! Can’t recommend enough!
Fabulous guide! Very informative and showed us a lot! Got a great feel for the city on our first day!
Our tour guide Marta was amazing! She was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job telling us the history of the city!!
Stephania our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Florence. She kept the information interesting and peaked our interests to want to learn more about the history of Florence. We highly recommend this tour.
This is a walking tour that provides a fast amount of information about Florence and the individuals who were an important part of Florence. Marta was an incredible guide. Very knowledgeable! I highly recommend this tour.
Maria was the most wonderful tour guide combining the amazing history of Florence with the shopping/local culture. I even asked where I could get an iced coffee and she took us to her favorite place. It was a wonderful afternoon! She took our picture in front of every beautiful point on the tour! Cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed it! ❤️
Great way to see the main sites in Florence as well as some a little off of the tourist path! Daniella our tour guide was very knowledgeable!
Ilaria was an excellent guide. We learned a lot and had a lot of fun too. My teenagers even enjoyed this tour. :)
Our guide Martha was a breath of fresh air. We laughed and learned about the rich history of Florence for over three hours. We have been travelling and on over five guided tours and this was the best one we had. We were also picked up from our hotel and were even able to learn folk dancing another day due to an invite from our guide Martha and we learned of delicious places to eat!
We had a truly had a fabulous 3 hour tour through Florence with Francesca. She had an exquisite knowledge base, including art, history and culture, and her enthusiasm and passion for the subjects was quite evident. We truly learned a lot from her and enjoyed her many stories about Florence as well as a few personal anecdotes. She was a wonderful combination of professional, compassionate with a little humor thrown in. We really enjoyed the day with Francesca and would give her our highest recommendation such that others may get to enjoy the wonderful experience that we did.
A wonderful guide. A beautiful city. Andre’s our guide was fun, smart and knowledgeable. This is a must-do tour when in beautiful Florence
Marta was an incredible guide. She took us on a 3 hour walking tour of Florence. She was full of interesting information and answered all our questions.
The tour was very educational and informative, I learned so much about Florence in 3 hours. My guide was very knowledgeable and made the experience so fun.
Marta, our tour guide, was phenomenal! Besides being immensely knowledgeable about Florence and its history and showing us all of the main areas of interest in Florence, she was also extremely engaging, personable, and an overall pro at giving a tour!!! Thank you Marta!!
We had been to Florence before, and never gone on walking tour. The guide pointed out many things as we weaved thru the city that we had never known about. It was relaxing too
We a a fantastic morning with Illaria (sp?). She brought the city of Florence to life for my family( ages 5-70 ). She was so excited and knowledgeable about her home and brought the centuries to life with stories and explanations. It was a rainy day but we really enjoyed walking the city and exploring beautiful places. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Our guide Andrea was amazing! Ho knows everything about Florence and could answer all our questions. Three hours were gone as a few minutes. Thanks a lot Andrea!
Ilaria was a wonderful tour guide. She explained everything that was important and was very knowledgeable about the history of Florence.
The private walking tour is the way to go. We actually did a 4 hour tour. The tour guide helped us better understand all we were seeing and quickly got us in and around the city. Additionally, she had skip the line tickets included in our package. This is more expensive but worth every penny
Greta is a very competent and professional guide for this beautiful city. Tourism to Florence has rebounded, I was just getting tickets for anything you can in advance.
Maria Cristina was very nice, but seemed quite inexperienced. Her was a bit difficult to understand.
Ilaria was amazing and tailored the entire tour for my pregnant wife. She was extremely personable, had amazing knowledge and showed us some unique hidden spots that made the experience! Highly recommended to get a great overview of Florence and it’s hidden gems
A great way to learn about the history of Florence. Much more in depth understanding of the history of the town.
We love Marcelo. He really brought Florence to life for us and seemed to know everyone in the city. The walking tour was a perfect way to orient yourself to all the sights.
Our guide was great and very knowledgeable. This was a great way to acclimate ourselves to the city, learn about the history and discover our way around town.
Our guide, Ilana was incredible. You can walk the city on your own and think it’s beautiful, but if you want to have details constantly pointed out that tie together the rich history of Florence, go with Ilana. It was a fascinating day and we feel like we truly appreciate the city, the art, architecture, history and whimsical facts so much better. Plus, she’s one of the nicest humans we have ever met. Just a beauty soul who truly loves her city.
Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and made us feel like we were walking around and speaking with a friend. Very enjoyable.
Meritxell, our guide, gave us a great personalized tour. The Medici family history was the thread for walking us through the main places in Florence including main palaces and churches but avoiding the crowds. Great experience !
Our guide was such a lovely lady, knew everything (and more) about Florence and gave us so many fascinating details about the city. it was an unalloyed joy!
Wonderful walking tour and informative guide! Wear comfortable shoes and get ready for an education…
Did not go into all of the so called admissions listed. Only went into 3. Never entered cathedrals. I wish our tour had a minimum of entry/ admissions as this evaluation is asking. Have sent an email but have not heard back
Great detail. Guide was somewhat hard to understand. I brought my family. Guide was boring for the kids. I would't recommend this for kids.
Seeing things that are out of the way and the significance of what happened there and how it affected current events
We absolutely loved our walking tour in Florence and would recommend it to everyone! Our guide was very knowledgeable and provided a thorough history lesson.
Simona took us around all of historical Florence, from the Duomo to the Ponte Vecchio to the medieval guild halls. We got to see the transformation of Florence into the heart of the Renaissance and saw where Dante, Michelangelo, and Da Vinci transformed the world. We also got a flavor for what the lives of the "common people" of Florence were like. Thank you Simona!
Great way to see Florence! The private tour provides a more personal experience and Simona was a great guide!
Gabriele, our tour guide was a pleasure to be with witty, affable and very knowledgeable. He made this tour excellent for myself and my wife
We had a private walking tour, our guide was very informative and knew her Florence history very well. A great start to our stay and we have since found ourselves very much at ease.
Gabriel was fun, engaging, and full of information. He was careful to not overtax our family group. I would go again.
We were on our 5th trip to Florence and learned more from Ilaria in just a few hours than all previous trips combined. Best walking tour in Florence is with Ilaria Lucaccioni. She was extremely knowledgeable on both historical and political info as she was on artistic and architectural information. It was thoroughly enjoyed by the entire group. Would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Florence
Unfortunately for all participants, this tour was in 2 languages so it took much longer than need be while each group waited for the translation. No microphone was used so it was a struggle to hear amidst traffic, rolling suitcases and construction. None of this was the guides fault - management please improve this part of your services. The guide was knowledgeable and provided insight into the history of Florence

Excellent tour!!! Enough cultural information for the short trip. I would advise choosing a smaller group tour if possible. Guide was fun.

We were met by the guide, Valentina, outside our centrally-located apartment. She was very friendly and down-to-earth. We began by casually strolling through the streets and some famous plazas, and Valentina casually discussed architecture and history. She touched on topics like the Medici family, the importance of the religious structures, and the various pre- and post-Renaissance art styles and techniques.

Overall, it felt like having a good friend who was a local give us a tour of her city which for us was perfect. Valentina was definitely highly expert as sometimes she went into details which, frankly, went a little over our heads but she always made sure to ask us if we could relate or understand what she talked about before continuing. We learned a lot from her, and even stopped by a cafe for a quick coffee during the tour. She was also kind to recommend some restaurants and gelato, and extend her contact information should we have and questions or need any help for the remainder of our time in Firezne.

Thanks, Valentina!

We asked for a history-focused tour and could not have been happier with our guide, Laura. It was an enriching and very enjoyable experience. I would recommend Laura very highly.

Great tour made that much better by Gabrielour guidewho added to the experience by giving us lots of info about the things we were seeing but in a relaxed and non hurried way.

Gabriel was a great tour guide. We had only a few hours in Florence and he packed lots into our 3 hour tour. Not only was he knowledgeable about Florence, everyone seemed to know him - obviously a fixture in the town. Our goal was to see as much of Florence as we could in 3 hours and Gabriel really delivered.

Laura was fantastic! She was so informative and we were really able to get a good overview of Florence.

Our tour guide was fantastic! She was knowledgable, energetic and catered to our specific needs
