Private Day Tour: Pisa And Lucca From Florence

We had a great day exploring Pisa and Lucca with our driver Luca. We enjoyed his knowledge of the areas visiting.

Our driver, Tommaso was unbelievable and ensured we had the best experience. He provided great information, was so very knowledgeable and created a wonderful and memorable day for us.

Fabulous day with Luca taking us to Pisa and Lucca for the day. Very informative and prepared driver who explained the history of Pisa and how the tower came to be built and why it famously leans. Luca had some material we studied before arriving and he then made great suggestions on how to approach the highlights of Pisa. We had plenty of time to appreciate the highlights of Pisa before a quick refreshment and journey to Lucca. We loved Lucca and its laid back vibe. Beautiful lunch at Nonna Clara’s with fresh ricotta and spinach raviolis and fresh caprese salad. So reasonably priced compared to Florence! Highlights of Lucca were many and varied. A thoroughly enjoyable day. I would recommend Luca’s tour to anyone wanting a personalised informative tour of Pisa and Luca. Great day.

We had a wonderful day in Pisa and Lucca! Choosing a private day trip in an air-conditioned van was the perfect decision, especially in the summer heat with kids. Door-to-door service and free time to explore both cities at our own pace made the day stress-free. A big thank you to Nunzio for being so friendly, professional, and engaging with the whole family. Wow, wow, wow! Our entire family enjoyed this day trip from Florence to Pisa and Lucca. Our tour guide, Tommaso, was fantastic and knowledgeable! He also had a great sense of humor and kept us entertained throughout the day. He picked us up from our hotel and gave us lots of interesting information about Pisa & Lucca as we were driving. This tour was a wonderful combination of information while in the car and then time to explore on our own once we reached the two destinations. In between Pisa and Lucca, Tommaso took us to lunch at a wonderful restaurant that, so far, has been our favorite meal in Italy! On the way back to Florence, we had fun listening to some music and learning some Italian. This tour was a family favorite and that was largely due to our wonderful guide, Tommaso!

Luca was one of the best tour guides we have ever used. We booked a private tour of Carrara marble followed by an amazing lunch. We stopped at the most beautiful sites along the way, not just photo ops, but places to experience the region. We asked him where to buy good local wines and he arranged a stop with complimentary tastings and delicious wines. He is organized, personable and incredibly knowledgeable. We highly recommend Let’s Andiamo.

We had a wonderful day in Pisa and Lucca with Nunzio. He was very knowledgeable and gave us so much information and was very helpful throughout the day. He helped us with "must dos" in each place and suggestions for eating and shopping. He was very energetic and shared al ot about the culture in these places as well. It was a wonderful day. Nunzio was our driver on a day trip from Florence. He did a top notch job. We felt safe with his careful driving. He made sure we were acclimated to our surroundings before leaving us in each location. He allowed us to shorten the stop in Pisa so that we could enjoy shopping and walking the city walls in Lucca. Luca was amazing! Kind, knowledgeable, flexible and fun! He picked us up from our hotel and took us to Pisa, a lovely restaurant in between towns and then Lucca and organized riding bikes and told us where to go in each place. He is fantastic guide and person and I could recommend him or this tour any more highly

We had a wonderful day trip to Pisa and Lucca. Our tour guide, Luca, shared such wonderful stories, and history making the trip unforgettable. We enjoyed seeing the leaning tower, cathedral , and other surrounding areas/sites. Our guide Luca, then brought us to a local restaurant for lunch. We would never have found this place on our own. We got to enjoy some local wines and excellent entrees. We then ventured onto Lucca where we got to experience this charming area and its sites. This day trip exceeded our expectations. Don’t hesitate to book it. You will leave with a lot of great memories.

We had a fantastic time with Nunzio. He accommodated a later pickup time, gave us great commentary on the drive, helped book a lunch reservation for us, had water for us in the car, and made sure the car was cool and comfortable. A great way to see Pisa and Lucca.

The tour was fantastic. So very cool seeing the leaning tower. The cemetery, baptistery, and chapel were beautiful. Great tour. Our tour guide was fabulous!

Nunzio was a fantastic guide during our trip to Pisa and Lucca. He was very attentive, informative, and very conversational and personable. All of us including the kids loved asking him questions and he has so many great stories to share. He took us on a country road from Pisa to Lucca which was beautiful and recommended us a very quiet and beautiful restaurant at the countryside for lunch which was a nice and calm break from the crowds we have experienced in Florence. Overall It was a very pleasant and unique experience and most of all, we loved having Nunzio as our guide, so yes absolutely thumbs up!!

Our family of 4 went on a private day trip to Sienna and Chianti with Nunzio. It was outstanding! We drove comfortably in a beautiful van stopping at sites along the way. We spent time in Sienna seeing the sights and then then to Chianti where we went to a winery for a private lunch. We also stopped in some small towns in Chianti. Nunzio was a fun and informative host and we would recommend this to anyone!

Everything was perfect. Luca was so easy to work with and very responsive. I had many questions and he was so patient, made sure I had all the information I needed. My group was originally quite large at 14 people. Luca set up 2 vans that traveled together. The day was great for my family. It was comfortable and a very stress free way to explore!

Luca did a tremendous job for us. We had asked him to arrange 2 days of winery trips out of Florence and our experience and expectations were far exceeded. His knowledge of the area and local connections created opportunities we never would have found on our own. We had to make some last minute changes to our itinerary and he and his colleague (Dario) were more than accommodating. Coming from the States there were zero communication issues and we appreciated the quality of the transportation. One of our most enjoyable days on our 3 week trip to Europe was spending the day with Luca visiting Pisa and Lucca from Florence. He picked us up at our hotel, which was a treat, and we spent the day touring and learning all the history about this area. He has so much knowledge, it was wonderful. He made reservations in Lucca for us to enjoy a leisurely lunch and then we all walked the town before we headed back to our hotel. Our time with Luca was very relaxing and enjoyable. Would highly recommend hiring him as your personal guide. Thank you Luca for a great experience!!

Luca, our tour guide, was exceptional! Pick up at hotel on time, safe driving to Lucca, and perfect amount of touring and free tine once there. Pisa was as requested - less time than Lucca, but highlights covered. In all, a wonderful tour and experience.

There are not enough wonderful things to say about Luca and Adriano. My family and I saw them almost every day for a week while in Florence. We had tight schedules but we never felt rushed. Pisa, Chianti, Fiesole, Florence, these guys can take you anywhere.They shuttled us in comfortable Mercedes vans and Luca has a plethora of knowledge as a professional guide. If art and history are must haves, you must hire Luca! If I make it back to Florence, I will definitely be messaging Luca and Adriano! Thanks guys!

Great city - we spent a day in Pisa where both Luca and Adriano of Let's Andiamo took 9 of us and gave us the lay of the land in Pisa. This allowed us to explore the Square of miracles with the Leaning Tower, Baptistry, City walls, St Mary's Duomo, and everything in between. Luca and Adriano were very helpful in letting us know what we would see and pointing us in the right direction to explore specific places we wanted to see. While we stayed in Florence both Luca and Adriano were helpful in explaining the details of what we would on the ride over. Both were very Knowledgeable and great to be around.
