Premium Private Tour To Siena, Pisa, San Gimignano And Tuscany

Our tour guide Diego was wonderful. Clean car with water bottles. Diego took his time to explain about the region and took us around Pisa, San Gimignano and Siena. He picked us up from our hotel and arrived early. He gave us plenty of time to explore the cities and didn’t rush us Was dissatisfied with the tour operators though as there was no communication from them and they didn’t send us the tickets to the Leaning tower in advance. I was unsure if anyone was going to arrive as they didnt respond to messages. We were glad that Diego carried a copy tickets as a standby and send it to us.

We had Cristian as our private tour guide today and he was beyond fantastic! Very knowledgeable about the history and areas we went to. He was very friendly and actually cared about us and answered any questions we had with honesty and expertise. If you get him as your tour guide, you’ll be very happy!

Today we spent an incredible 10 hours on a private tour with Ciao Florence Tours and Travels, and it absolutely did not disappoint! Our driver, Cristian, was fantastic. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and shared the history of every place we visited, which made the day even more special. Each winery was better than the last, and we enjoyed a delicious lunch at Teruzzi Winery. It was a perfect day in Tuscany and an experience we will always remember. Highly recommend!

Christian was an amazing driver with a rich knowledge of the history of Florence! We booked a tour from 8:30-5, and there was never a dull moment. He was friendly and had amazing recommendations for food, gelato, and photo opportunities. My family and I had a great time.

We found Cris prompt, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, down to earth and very receptive to what we wanted in our tour. He really took good care of us. He slightly adjusted our tour to meet our needs and interests. Whenever possible, he took us the most scenic way to enjoy the Tuscan countryside. He really took the time initially to understand our preferences and personalized the trip for us — even updating timelines at each stop so we could spend more time on the experiences we would enjoy the most (and he was right!). What a wonderful day we had with tour guide Cristian, he expertly guided us around the crowds at all three destinations. This allowed to maximize what we experienced. Pisa was awesome, San Gimignano was charming and Siena’s square amazing. Cristian arranged for us to enjoy a scrumptious lunch and wine tasting, and shared interesting information about Italy and the places we visited. After a full day of touring Cristian expertly drove us back to our Villa. All in our party agreed that we thoroughly enjoyed the trip!

Outstanding and well worth the Private Tour. We have a family of six. The Private tour enabled us to enjoy 3 venues in a relaxing manner. Our guide, Christian was incredibly enthusiastic, knowledgeable. The car rides were entertaining and educational- which added to the visits. From history, geography, wine, Palio Di Siena, gelato selection- Christian shared his 20+ years of knowledge with infectious enthusiasm. -Both Siena and San Gimignano were well worth the time. Beautiful walks, and architecture - Christian booked a Wine tasting and Lunch for our family in Chianti at a 3rd generation vineyard, St. Appiano. The beauty of Chianti region is ineffable, you must feel and see firsthand. Being a wine novice, Barbara introduced us to the wines in a relaxing and authentic atmosphere. As this was the highlight of our trip, and likely will be at least decade before we will have opportunity to revisit Tuscany- Lets just say, I left St Appiano with plenty of wine to enjoy back home in the USA ( they ship any wines you enjoyed to your home). Wine 'ratings' don't matter to us, what matters to us is when we open that bottle of wine, we will always reminisce about our time in Chianti. Lastly the private tour is well worth it if you can- it saves time, you are more relaxed and get to experience more during your visit to Tuscany

This wa a great tour and a great family day. The places we were taken to were beautiful. That be stated my one advice would be if you are taking the private tour and they offer you a Tuscan Wine tasting lunch, turn it down. It take way too much time up and it adds an extra 100 euros per person. This lunch is 100% NOT WORTH IT!!! Save your time and your money and get more time in the areas you are visiting.

I took this tour and it is worth to cover so much in a lot with very good schedule organised by the agent. The guide Sebastian and the bus driver renaldo did excellent job.

Valentino our driver made the difference! He knew everything about the culture, history and helped a lot along the way. Our day was perfect! Beautiful cities and so much to explore! We started in Pisa and from there had lunch at Saint’Appiano - beautiful winery and I strongly recommend - then San Gimignano and Siena. This is a 10 hour tour but I could certainly spend hours in Siena! The cathedrals and duomos are one of a kind and a must see! We enjoyed a daylong private tour of the Tuscany region, visiting several towns and lunch at a wonderful Winery. The guide/driver was very knowledgeable and provided great insights on the history and present day life in Tuscany. This was a great introduction to Tuscany!

We had a great tour with an English-speaking guide who drove us to Siena and San Gimignano. The car was a large Mercedes sprinter van that comfortably seated 8 people. It had water and was very clean. We requested to not go to Pisa because we had little kids and it’s a long drive. The driver gave us a lot of history of our surroundings and was flexible with our itinerary. We also requested for him to find us a grocery store to buy diapers on the way home on the day after Christmas (not an easy project!) and he succeeded. A few things to make sure people know: when you get to the location, you’re on your own (the driver is just the transportation) and there is no food included in this tour. We knew these things but just making sure you know, fellow traveler!

Well worth the trip. Visited San Gimignano and Siena. Skipped Pisa. Our guide Christian was fantastic and full of info and great guidance. He was able to arrange wine tasting and lunch that day at historic winery which was perfect complement for the day.

If you have limited time but want to visit these 3 places in a day, this is a tour you should consider. Thanks to the driver, who drove effectively, we were able to visit these three beautiful places with a wonderful wine tasting lunch at a vineyard. The Sienna church was the highlight.

Christian was a wonderful guide who offered information on history, culture, geography, language, food, and wine. We would highly recommend him for any tour.

We started on a bad note, got lost, and could not find the meeting location or our tour guide. Called the main office several times and could not connect with anyone. One of the gentlemen from another kiosk helped us and called the number . At this point, we made contact with someone from the main office. The bus by now had left from its location. She suggested we take the train and meet at the next stop and join the group. We paid out of pocket and bought train tickets to Seina. The office provided our tour guides Watsup contact info. We got to Seina, at the meeting point, could not find him, Roberto/our guide sent me his location, while walking there, he left the location again, provided a new location to meet. He said he could not wait, i needed to find him. While on the call with him, Roberto directed me to how I can find him. While waving his flag, we were able to connect and join the group. Roberto, while adhering to his office rules and policy still managed to help us find him. He did not leave behind. Otherwise, we had a great time visiting Tuscany. The winery in particular.

Placido was an incredible guide! He had a lot of knowledge about the cities and made sure to call out specific points of interest along the drives. We really appreciated his passion and love for these cities. On top of a wonderful travel day, he arranged a fun and beautiful lunch for us at a winery in San Gimignano which was a highlight for all. We’re grateful to have been matched with him for this experience and would not hesitate to reach out to him again the next time we find ourselves in Florence.

We took a whole day tour with Cristian. He was one of the best we had so far- very knowledgeable, patient with us and our two teens. It was hot and on a Saturday, but he made sure we were comfortable and informed during the drive to our destinations. Private tour cost more but it was well worth it- everything was arranged for us-tickets, tours at Siena and Pisa, ticket to a leaning tower, lunch at a local restaurant! Book your tour with Cristian and his company ( Ciao Florence) you will not be disappointed.

Christian was incredible! We started in Florence and went to Pisa. This was way more than I expected. From there we went to San Gigimano, had a great walk through the village. From there we went to Siena, could have spent an entire day there. Plaza was really cool and the Dumo was breathtaking. Christian never hurried us, was very informative and a really nice guy to hang with for the day. Would do this trip again!

We just got back from our private tour through Tuscany with Christian through Ciao Florence and we are so glad we booked this! First, Christian was extremely knowledgeable about the entire history of Italy and helpful in planning our day. We ended up doing a local winery tour/tasting and that was the best decision! All 3 towns were beautiful and we had the convenience of being dropped off close to the main attractions so we weren’t wasting our time walking to these things but instead had more time to enjoy them. I’d highly recommend this tour and I’d say keep your itinerary open to allow for flexibility in your day. The private tour was the way to go and if you get Christian as your guide you will have gotten an even better day than you expected!

We had the most amazing day in Tuscany on a private tour with Cristian! He was personable and knowledgeable about the region, wine, and historical information. He instantly engaged my teenagers who have completely different interests and made it our favorite day on the trip. Beautiful scenery. Guide was very knowledgeable and personable. Lunch was arranged at a private winery. We left our umbrellas in our apartment and our driver kindly provided them when it rained unexpectedly. We would highly recommend Christian our driver for the day.

This was a well organized and meticulously structured tour. Our driver Mario was a rather sympathetic and a 'security-first' guy. Our guides, Svetlana and Canderk, both of them were quite informative, energetic, attentive and helpful by all means. I heartfully recommend this tour to everyone who is interested in the region.

Cristian was our driver guide for our day in Tuscany. It was a lovely day and we were able to see Pisa, San Gimignano and Siena. Additionally, Cristian arranged for us to have a lunch with wine pairings at a vineyard. This was a last minute add on that my husband and I greatly enjoyed, and even our children, who are too young to drink, enjoyed! Then, at the end of the day, he took us to Piazza Michelangelo for incredible evening views of Florence. I would highly recommend this tour - it was a long and full day that was truly memorable!

My family and I had a wonderful time with this tour. I read the description, inclusion and exclusion so I asked CIAO FLORENCE to help me book all the tour tickets and lunch (at this wonderful winery with wine pairings) that we wanted to do for additional costs. It’s all worth it. Our driver VALENTINO was the best!. He was on time and always communicating on where and when we would meet for every stops. He was very informative on historical sites and great insights on them. He pointed to us what we must see on our stops. We also had random conversations that made our commute fun! I totally would recommend this tour. WE like paying for comfort and if you have a kid / kids, I highly recommend this tour. I highly recommend Valentino as the driver as well. To make this successful, you have to communicate your needs ahead of time and CIAO FLORENCE made it easy, they started a WhatApp channel right away after booking.

This tour was fantastic and made even better than we could have imagined due to our excellent driver PLACIDO. There is only one Placido! He gave us so much background and history of the entire Florence/Tuscany area and tailored our trip to what we most wanted to do. We spent just enough time in Siena and Pisa to see the sights and experience the difference from the city and then he took us to the most spectacular area of San Gimignano to a wine luncheon at Corbucci winery. Everything was top notch and I would recommend this trip and especially request PLACIDO to anyone who goes.

Let me start off by saying we do not blame the driver at all for this experience. It's totally on the tour operators. I felt bad for the driver that he was dropped into this English speaking experience he did not seem at all familiar with. This was supposed to be an English language tour, but the driver spoke almost no English and didn't seem familiar with the tour. We gave up after asking a few simple questions about our surroundings or things we saw on the drive that he didn't comprehend. We are giving this two stars because we did see most of what we wanted by fumbling around on our own with Google Maps after being dumped off with no suggestions, recommendations or guidance. Unlike some others, we were aware that there would be no tour guide, but the reviews are filled with glowing accounts of great drivers who spoke English, imparted knowledge, and even assisted in getting them a lovely lunch and wine tasting at a winery. There was none of that in this tour for us. We asked about the possible winery lunch, and he was clueless and didn't understand what we were asking. We finally grabbed a bad pizza on our own in Siena because we had no clue where to eat. We'd never been to any of these places before. I don't think the driver was very familiar either since he came in for this tour from Rome. Obviously, the value in this tour is all about the driver's knowledge of previous tours and the ability to communicate well in English. It sounds like he got zero information on the basic tour before he was tossed in to drive it. Unfortunately, we didn't get a driver who could answer any questions. This also wasn't a door to door pickup and dropoff. We were dumped before Piazza Della Signora and had to walk back to Piazza Del Pesce at the end of the tour. I do not think we got what we paid for with this tour. It was specified as an English language tour. Unforunately, I'm now terrified about the other private driver tours we booked on Viator in the next few weeks. I'm really hoping they are better for the money we paid. At the very least, I'm hoping the drivers speak enough English to answer basic questions. Tour operators...please do better. Your customers deserve the tour they were promised in the description. Please stop using drivers who don't speak English for a tour that was specifically billed as an English tour. It's very uncomfortable to spend 8 hours with someone who can't answer simple questions. Kudos to the driver for trying, but it wasn't fair to him, either.
