Do not recommend, poorly organised and very disappointing! We did have the pizza it was ok, not amazing just ok. Then we asked the restaurant to point us to the church where the concert will be held, bearing in mind that it’s a combo deal, we had no reason to suspect they would show us to the wrong church! The company said I didn’t call - well I cannot make international phone calls while abroad and quite frankly I assumed we for the correct information from a participating partner! Poor in all respects, from information given, to very shady area to very poorly handled after the fact. Not recommended!

Delightful change from typical tourist activities. Dinner was fine, a very nice restaurant. Recital was enjoyable if a bit eccentric.
Church was hot. Food was average. Service was good. Convenient to one another. A bit of a walk from hotel. Overall positive experience
Location not good. Pizza dinner a joke. Concert disappointing! Find something elsemtondonwith your precious time in Florence.
If you are having trouble finding the Santa Monica church, head toward the large darkened building across from Trattoria Napoleone and then make a left and walk down a bit. You should find it after a minute walk or so. The food was fantastic! Would highly recommend Trattoria Napoleone to my friends. Everyone in there was incredibly kind. The music was also wonderful. We saw three very talented sopranos. All in all a beautiful night out.
Super night. I really enjoyed the time at the restaurant and the music the classical music. It was such a soothing emotional time. Really excellent. Thank you!
Horrible. Building was dark and closed. Took pictures. Not notification of cancellation. Want a refund.
The concert was not bad for its price of EUR 25/person. The dinner was disappointing - we ordered two pizzas from the set dinner menu and the Margherita looked and tasted like the frozen ones from supermarkets. The tiramisu (also from the set dinner menu) was equally awful. My key advice is just to sign up for the concert and go eat somewhere else - there are plenty of good restaurants in Florence.
The opera itself was wonderful. Could feel the emotions. Found the service not good at the restraurant
The performers were great. Such a beautiful voice! The church acoustics were perfect. It was a different, unique experience. So glad we went!
I saw you can book this opera separately from the dinner.. I would book just the opera. Dinner was okayish and we didn’t really feel welcome in the restaurant. The opera was awesome!
The restaurant was very nice. The music was lovely. Unfortunately we knew nothing about the singers or the paino player. They never even introduced themselves; never knew their names; didn't know their careers, passions....nothing. They didn't speak one word! It would have been great for someone to give some insight into the music chosen. No stage presence....huh?
The Opera performance & talent was mesmerizing & awesome. The dinner was nice. The cost is well worth. Attending an opera in Italy with perfect piano solos.
Fantastic dinner culminating into a memorable opera night. The singers were very talented and and mesmerizing. It was indeed a wonderful musical evening.
Our flight was canceled, we wanted to do this so very badly. But Lufthansa had different plans. They charged us full price even though we canceled early in the day....
The church was pretty and inviting and the Opera performance and piano were great. Really lovely. The overall rating was dragged down by the resteraunt experience before hand. We arrived ahead of time by 10-15 mins and were told that our reservation had only just been received and that they were full. We were then told that we could wait for 30 mins to be seated. Many people arrived (who had obviously booked direct) and were seated. Our 30 min wait became a 1hr and 10 min wait in the end, regardless of me highlighting to the manager our time constraints. He then seated us with less than 30 mins until we had to be at the Opera. We were set down in a corner I'm the basement. We were not given a menu as it was presumed that we should know what we wanted as it was a set menu (which we had not seen). I also flagged that we were due a dessert. We quickly chose a pizza each and this was delivered to us as soon as the chef and waiting staff could but we only had 10 min to eat before we had to go. So we didn't finish our pizza and had no dessert. For this reason I would appreciate a partial refund. The manager should have not made us wait and just said he would refund the provider we purchased our ticket from so we could go elsewhere. We had just come from a long day travelling and were so hungry and tired. This was meant to be a birthday present experience for my mum but this ruined it to be honest.
Very memorable and exclusive. Dinner was at a very nice restaurant where you could have pizza or apply the value of the prepaid dinner to any menu items of your choice. The concert was in a beautiful old church (Santa Monica) with gorgeous frescos and amazing acoustics. Very intimate concert by fantastic soprano and pianist of classic arias. Must do!
The food was good, the music was amazing! All of the performers were excellent- we particularly liked how effortlessly the pianist played. And the setting for the arias was beautiful! Would definitely recommend
This was a very enjoyable evening! The restaurant was terrific and the performance outstanding. A great find and good value
The service at the restaurant was great, but the pizza was watery…lower quality cheese? The concert was excellent. The only thing I would warn people about, especially if attending in the summer months, is that there is no A/C in the church. There are a few fans, but it is stifling in there. I read somewhere that the dress code was smart casual so we dressed in long pants and that was a huge mistake. Wear cool comfortable clothing. Don’t worry about following a dress code. Lots of the audience members were in shorts. We were miserable because we weren’t.
This is false advertising and way overpriced. There is no guide or group. The restaurant had no idea what we were talking about when we described the event. Once they finally figured out why were there we were treated like “coupon customers” (which I guess we were). The service was terrible and the pizzas were awful. My wife was sick about an hour later - most likely food poisoning. So we didn’t even get to go to the concert. We paid about $50 for a $15 meal (IF the concert truly was $25). This is a scam and now I know why there are no reviews. Go to a nice restaurant on your own and make your own way to the concert. Trip Advisor: you should take this off your site!
Quaint restaurant in interesting part of town. Food was good with sizeable portions. Short walk to the church for a beautiful concert- the singer and pianist were extraordinary. Just happened to be all saints day so we were delighted by a fireworks display en route back to our hotel. Lovely evening
I love my opera but my husband would rather go to a rock concert so this was an ideal introduction for him. The songs were the 'hits' from the opera world entertainingly performed and the programme not too long. Bravo to the performers!
The Santa Monica hostel 6 meeting point is very poorly explained, it is a marketing placebo and they know nothing about the opera, the hotel next door says they do but they do not know what time they open, it is 7:45 and no one is coming and supposedly the pizza was at 7:30
