Super fun and affordable. The chef and his assistant were amazing. The experience was great and it certainly didn’t hurt that the instructor was hot AF.

The pizza class was one of our favorite activities in Florence. Nicolo is great with the kids and adults alike. I would recommend it during your stay.

What a great experience - fantastico! I booked because I thought it would be fun for both the kids and adults in the party - I wasn't wrong! Niccolo is a great host, we appreciated being greeted by him on the doorstep of the venue - nice touch. He is knowledgeable and charismatic, the kids loved it and grandma, a seasoned cook, came away with newfound inspiration for making pizza and focaccia - everybody wins!

This was a highlight of our time in Florence. Alessio and Costanza were our hosts and they were so friendly and welcoming! Our kids were involved in every step and Costanza was very patient with them. The hospitality and history lessons were very much appreciated. We had such a great time! Nick was awesome and so good with kids. We had our 2 boys, ages 4 and 7, and there were 2 other families each with 2 kids as well. It was our family’s favorite thing we did in Florence. Pizza was so good and our boys were each able to make it all on their own. Gelato was also so good. The place was super clean and comfortable. Every family needs to go!

Enjoyed the experience overall. The place is new and very clean. Has AC. The chefs are experienced, knowledgeable and very friendly. The pizzas were very good. Only thing is the gelato - a) not everyone makes an individual one but the whole group of 12 has to select a single flavor, b) don't have chocolate gelato as option, c) taste of the vanilla nutella gelato was 3/5. But, pizza was the primary experience and that was superb. Thanks to Alissi and Niccolo. It's their new venture and they are very passionate about it. Very accommodating too. God luck to them!

Amazing experience! It ended up just being our family but they were beyond kind to my daughter and let her help and she felt included. Would highly recommend this class to anyone coming to Florence! They also served great drinks during the class

It was an awesome experience. Nic was awesome and very knowledgeable. He made it an extremely fun and tasty experience. You get so much food that you will be busting at the seams. I’m excited to go home and try to make it for myself!

Amazing experience! I took my family ( 5 adults and 2 little kids) for the pizza and gelato class.the chef and the helper staff were so nice and super friendly made us feel so at ease the entire time! We had a very lovely evening during our workshop! In an informal and very friendly atmosphere we took the pizza and ice cream workshop. Niccoló and Alessio where our hosts and we could see the enthusiasm and passion in there eyes. They made us feel very welcome and appreciated. During the workshop we made Nutella flavoured ice cream and we created our own pizza dough and of course our own pizza. We had a terrific time and we would highly recommend Taste of Italy workshops to anyone visiting Florence. Alessio and Niccoló explained all steps in details and where the perfect hosts during our workshop. We cannot thank them enough for there patience and enthusiasm. What a wonderful experience! Our children (12 and 9) had a great time learning to cook and were engaged the whole time. Alessio and Marco were gracious hosts and provided us all a fun and educational night. Learning about the different Italian Regions, National culture and their personal families & traditions were an unexpected treat. They made the evening flow and kept the conversation going. We would ABSOLUTELY recommend this to anyone - you will not be disappointed!

Nicolo was amazing. We were a family and friend travelling together and he was so accommodating to the child's additional needs and went out of his way to make the experience remarkable for everyone. The food and experience was 10 out of 10 and we can't stop talking about how much we enjoyed it.

Chef Alessandro was fantastic and engaging, he did an amazing job including my kids in the preparation at every step and the smiles on their faces alone when they were tossing the pizza dough in their hands made taking the class worth it.

We loved Marco and his partner so much! They are funny, genuine, amazing with kids and just plain fun to spend 3 hours with! We each made an individual pizza plus gelato plus adults got drinks from all over Italy. We would go back in a heartbeat. My kids age 7 and 10 had a blast as did their 76 year old grandma. And the guys had the flow completely dialed so it was entertaining throughout, even while waiting for pizzas to cook and such. The location is not hard to find and is really nice inside. Marco will also meet you to help. Worth every penny. Simply the BEST team.

We had the most wonderful hands on experience making pizza dough, gelato & enjoying family time & meeting another group from Germany. Nic was a a fabulous instructor! The space was very clean & beautifully decorated. I highly recommend as a family activity.

This was a fabulous experience for everyone in our family and the other 2 families with us in the class. The chef and host were amazing. They had a wonderful dynamic working relationship that left everyone entertained and busy from the 4 year old to the 75 year old. The information provided included everything from what region the food/technique came from to the best types of flour to use and it was all presented in a fun, energetic, family atmosphere. We highly recommend for everyone.

We chose this class based on the reviews, and it did not disappoint! The whole experience was exceptional. The food was great and the atmosphere was so warm and friendly. By the time we left, we felt like we had just spent the evening with a group of old friends! We also learned a lot, and I’m an avid home baker, so I didn’t expect to learn as much as I did! My only regret is not staying in town long enough to take one of their pasta classes!

This was the best cooking class we’ve ever done! The instructor was kind & super generous and SO fun! We really enjoyed our time and felt like we could recreate the pizza & gelato at home for our families. This felt like cooking with family which is the true meaning behind food in Italy. We would definitely come back again!

Super fun lasted around 4 hours worth every minute so much fun lots of drinks great super fun energetic environment and people would definitely go again very awesome! Food was very good the family loved it very kid friendly and VERY hands on definitely a must do on your visit to Florence!

We were even greeted with welcome drinks, which set a great tone for the class. It was a semi-private session with just one other couple, making the experience feel personal and relaxed. The instructions were clear, engaging, and easy to follow, and the chef made sure to keep everything fun while still teaching proper techniques. They went above and beyond—making extra pizza for us to enjoy, and every bite was delicious. The gelato was absolutely incredible as well. Great time at Taste of Italy Pizza and Gelato cooking class with Niccolò while visiting Florence. Niccolò was welcoming and very attentive. We had a private experience as it was January and the only group to register. We were very appreciative he didn't cancel our reservation (like another company did due to lack of reservations). The kitchen was immaculate. Niccolò was a great host and made sure we were well attended to throughout the experience. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything clearly and answered the abundance of questions we through at him. We were able to choose from a variety of pizza toppings for our pizza. We learned about some of the history of making gelato. He chose the flavor of gelato - honey, which was delicious. He served beverages throughout our "lesson", water, bottomless Prosecco and Aperol spritz. A great time had by all. Would definitely recommend this experience and will likely do it again with a group when we return to Tuscany in the fall. Thank you, Niccolò, for an unforgettable experience!
