i was a little bite disappointed that the guide tour was cancelled because i was alone.Don't accept only one person at the reservation. An only an audio guide was provide for a price a little bite expensive (for 67 euros)

Closed on First Monday of the first Month. Didn’t know that. But incredibly beautiful! I would recommend
Not a good experiance, very disapionting we booked skip the line tickets, cost a lot of money, we were told to go to a certain place to get our tickets when we got there NO Tickets!! so we could not get in, we paid a lot of money for this, but its cheaper to get it when you get there.
The location to gather the actual tickets is not at the Pitti Palace. Just plan extra time for your outing!
Minor confusion on my side. I did not realize I was to pick up tickets at your office. I was thinking the location would have been near entry.
An experience to view artwork and statues that would be hard to find all in one place. Book tickets ahead of your visit well worth it.
Lots to see. Lots of art and history. Easy to access. Can be done in half day or less. Cool if you like history or design.
We had one full day in Florence to see things and chose the Palazzo Pitti and Boboli Gardens because the palace apartments are used to exhibit an extensive range of artwork; both painting and sculpture. There is also an extensive display of costume worn through the ages. We were there for almost six hours and it was really fantastic. The gardens are huge and there are some delightful discoveries when you go exploring. Make sure to climb to the very top of the gardens because the view at the top, out into rural Tuscany, is worth the climb. A perfect day!
Palazzo Pitti was an incredible. Spent over 4 hours between palace and the gardens. Staff helpful. Crowd size was easy.
The tickets are NOT available at the venue. If you happen to find them you’re doing better than me; good luck! They contacted me 20 minutes after we’d entered the venue and bought tickets for less money. Total con. Won’t refund.
Be aware - your tix pick up point is a half a mile away. In the heat of the day we just ended up buying more tickets, so purchasing online was a total waste of time and money. The art is amazing, and pretty overwhelming. The part I enjoyed the most was the top floor, where the modern art is. Don't be fooled - modern means the 1800's. But it begins with dark and dramatic religious paintings and leads you through a path to the light and joy of Impressionism and the delight of family life.
Had to pick up the tickets and then walk across the bridge for entrance. I would have preferred someone meet us there with the tickets because my mom doesn’t walk so well and we had taken a taxi. It was hard on her to walk from the office to the palace.
Wonderful museum! Really revommend. About the tickets from City Florence tours. Didnt know that we had to go to the other side of town …
When we arrived at the Pitti Palace ticket office/ exchange, we were told to go to the Viator office to get our tickets. You receive vouchers, not tickets. This was back across the Arno over the Ponte Vecchio and down some alleys to the office. We were pressed for time, so we paid again at the ticket exchange office. This was a total bust. It was not worth the aggravation and confusion. You should send us the tickets we buy, not vouchers that must be exchanged in another line. Just eliminate all the manipulations and confusion to acquire the actual tickets.
Do the tour on your own. The ticket costs less at the Pitti Palace. If you get there early, there will not be a line. This company gives you a voucher that you take to a place which is a 12 minute walk from Pitti Palace. Then they give you a ticket that you take back to Pitti Palace. In this digital age, it is quite ridiculous that they cannot send you the voucher in the app or in an email. Every other tour I have done on Florence did just that. Pitti is definitely worth visiting.
Absolutey great! The little problem is to get the tickets from another place 30 minutes before your tour! The tour was wonderful! Amazing palace! Huge history and art!
This is not a guided tour! We arrived at the designated office on our arrival time of 10:30 to be told that we had to wait for her “colleague to come with the skip the line passes”. After waiting a few minutes she said let’s go. We walked with her a block, then waited another 10-15 min on the sidewalk for her return with the passes. Then we walked by ourselves across the Ponte Vecchio to the palace. We suggest you get to the palace early, buy your own tickets, rent the audio guide from the museum, and plan to spend at least half a day to fully enjoy. And don’t forget the gardens! Don’t buy food at their little cafe, prices are ridiculous and you will get cold coffee.
The most memorable parts of this experience that Viator provided were poor. The walk from our stay was about 10 mins and back to the Palace was 20 mins. I paid $31 for a ticket for Palace entry only and did not include the Boboli Gardens. I thought I was getting both Garden and Palace entry. The price at the Palace for admission is €16 and €10 for Boboli Gardens. Aside from the walking workout, what did I get for paying nearly double for only admission to the Palace? Do yourself a favor, and go to the Palace and buy your ticket, easier and much cheaper. Palace is stunning and worth going to.
We paid 118 cdn$ for two priority tickets. We had to pick up the tickets 15 minutes before our entry time. We were given two regular tickets with a value of 48 Euros ($70 cdn) and had to join the regular line to enter. No priority as far as I can tell and $48 more expensive. I don't get it. What am I missing???
Usually, the departure point is close to the activity and the instructions are clear. Unfortunately, in this instance the pick up point is over a kilometre away from the event and one must go out of their way to get the tickets. I was only able to pick up the tickets at 10 AM and my scheduled time was for 10:30 AM making it difficult to be there on time. I suggest customer care send PDF files to the customers on the morning of the event as was done with my Medici Chapel tickets.
Nice place, good to see such beautiful things, immerse in history. Beautiful views of the city from upper floor.
We bought these priority tickets from a certain time as we were told it was very hard to get tickets with the long lines. For us on the day this wasn’t true. I could have bought tickets easily and not had to wait till the time on our tickets as we were early. Once inside it was amazing but difficult to find where the top attractions were as some had moved. There wasn’t a physical map so we kept having to look at our phones. We had limited time. Was also extremely hard to find where we had to pick up our tickets from. It ended up some random guy who helped us take us to another random guy who produced the tickets. So alls well that ends well but we paid another 45% for the save the line priority tickets.
Was unable to take in this tour, as ship was late docking, and bus did not arrive in time. Instead, I was able to get different tour. Did not get to view the inside, but rather, was able to get many photos of various sites which were not included in my booked tour of Palazzo Pitti.
Given that my tickets were for 3pm entry, we were not close to the office that I had to go to pick up the tickets. It would have been much more convenient to have a QR code emailed after payment to enter the Palazzo Pitti. Then the next day we had tickets for the Uffizi and when we tried to pick them up early in the day, we couldn't receive them until just a hour before the entry time. Again, this is a big inconvience when you're trying to make the most of your time.
Beautiful palace filled with amazing artwoy. The skip the line was quite handy, even this time of year
Booked tour without realizing it was not guided and no audio . Had to rely on signs in rooms and travel book .fantastic building g and art work but would have preferred some instruction.
Happy we made time for the Pitti Palace. We just bought tickets, no tour and enjoyed the history. We had gone to The Medici Chapels first and we’re familiar with the wife who bought it!
Would recommend getting the audio tour and planning for at least 1 1/2 hours for the garden. Also, do some reading on the family.
The day before we were scheduled to go to the Pitti Palace, we stopped at the ticket office to pick up our reservation and timed tickets. We were told we had to come back tomorrow, one and a half hours before our tour-ridiculous! This requires a lot of walking (across town) as the ticket office is not even near the palace! No other Florence tour makes you tromp all over to enter a location. We told them “forget it” as we went to the Bargello Museum instead. I ate the cost, but don’t regret it. My advice? Skipping the Pitti Palace tour is not a loss, I say see anything else in Florence.
I booked several tours and this one was horrible. Again I never got an email with my ticket only a download that brought up a green voucher that said this is not your entry ticket So when I went to the Pitti Palace ticket office they would not give me a ticket. They said Florence City Tours would meet me at the entrance and give me my ticket but this wasn’t true either. I was supposed to get my ticket at their office which is 10 minutes away from Pitti. What a mess. This was not Communicated to me so I asked for a refund which Florence City Toirs said NO but Jonathan with Viator put in a refund process for me which I will receive in 7 days. Another issue with this is I paid $64 for Skip the line tickets for Pitti and Boboli when they sell the same ticket (no skip the line) for $22😳. I understand Skip the line would be more but this is a huge and ridiculous difference in price.
Nice location and great service. They up-grated our room when we got there, which was very good. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious.
Fabrizio was our tour guide here and he was fantastic. His knowledge was amazing. It was 3 of us on the tour and we learned so much about the Medici's, Florence, history and art. He was knowledgeable about so much. We saw works from well known artists such as Reubens and Caravaggio. Fabrizio was engaging and humorous it was a very enjoyable tour.
Chistano was wonderful. He shared all his knowledge as a historian and once he knew my background in art history he showed is all the Rachael's. We were thrilled to be able to learn so.much from him. Thank you.
Appointment was for 11 museum opened at 1 30 To pick up ticket I need to go out of my way There are no lines for pitti tickets Easier and cheaper to just get at museum or on line
Rosa was incredibly sweet, engaging and her level of expertise was exceptional. For anyone that wants to learn about the master painters of renaissance art, she's the ideal guide.
overwhelming by all means - architecture, gardens and interiors. how lucky dostojewski must have been, to live just across the street. anytime again.
The tour was amazing, beautiful paintings, very nice architecture, welcoming people, interesting story, the guide named Martinna was very helpful and explained everything in detail, it was a pleasure to hear her talk about florence’s history
Me and my husband were very pleased with the beautiful exhibitions we saw at the palace. It’s definitely worth the money and time to get a closer look to the world and live of the Medici‘s. The best palace we were ever been to. The bad thing was, that during our tour at the palace, there was a summer storm outside. So the garden was close to visitors the rest of the day. A security guard didn’t let us go outside, because of the bad weather conditions and it might be slippery out there. Anyway they offered us to „resign“ our tickets with a visit of the gardens the next day straight. It was such a pity because we were leaving the next day early to a different place. I definitely recommend it to all the people that are in history and art!
Our guide Francesca Ciappi Very well-prepared, kind, she explained many things about the museum and the works to us. Excellent guide
Do not buy tickets online, even at Easter, you will have tickets at the box office. Retrieving tickets purchased online is complex. I had to ask to receive them by email. I had to download a new app to have audio on my phone in French.
The palace itself was amazing. Maybe the ceiling is more splendid than Versailles. We also had a closer look at three paintings by Raphael. However, I had to go out of my way to redeem my voucher somewhere else and spent an hour looking for it because it was so confusing. It is normal to show your voucher at the entrance and they will exchange it for a ticket. I wasted valuable time. And when I went there, I found a rattle, nobody was lined up. The bottom line was that we didn't need priority tickets.
I had missed that I had to pick up the ticket somewhere else and therefore missed the time slot. On the surface, it looked like I had an access code for the museum itself.
On ne nous avait pas dit que nous devions nous rendre d'abord à une autre adresse à 10 minutes de marche pour aller chercher nos billets. J'ai du téléphoner à grand frais pour avoir cette information.
Extraordinary…a must-see, a timeless journey Very beautiful statues and paintings, the lounges are magnificent….
Importante tener entrada anticipada, con ella se puede ahorrar las colas. Luego estar dispuesto a disfrutar de un acerbo artístico único y de gran valor.
huge amount of paintings by famous painters and works by different sculptors in a beautiful period building, definitely worth the visit
Everything as promised. Short consultation with the contractual partner. Tickets were handed over at the right meeting point at the right time, as promised.
Excellent organization, we went to collect tickets at the office a few meters from the building and in one morning we visited both the Tower and the Museum without queuing up. Thank you guys, we will be back soon for more experiences. Florence is unique!!!
