Simone was very professional as he met us at the cruise port and then we walked a few minutes to the car. Comfortable ride to our destinations, even was flexible to adjust due to traffic to Pisa, we wound up seeing Florence first. At the destinations, we were given time to explore and texted a guide to follow. We communicated via WhatsApp during the day and made it back on the ship as promised.
It was a bit of a drive but well worth it. Pisa was amazing and Florence was equally special. Simone was a great guide and made sure we saw everything. He was also patient and worked with our slow sightseeing.

Excellent tour. This is not an easy one from La Spezia. It is 2 hours from there to Florence however our driver was very accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable. We had a great time with our 4 kids.

We had a great experience on this tour! The time management was excellent throughout the day. Although it was a long journey—about an hour from the cruise port to Pisa, then another hour to Florence—we really appreciated the guide’s quick thinking when we hit traffic. They took an alternate route to keep us on schedule. The return trip from Florence to the cruise took about two hours, but everything ran smoothly. Overall, it was a fantastic day, and we absolutely loved it!

To see the Leaning Tower of Pisa after seeing the pictures for years was great! We enjoyed walking around Florence and the market. Even though our driver from the cruise ship to the cities was not a guide, he was great. He pointed out places along the way and in the cities. We were two couples on our first trip to the Mediterranean and so glad we did this tour since the cruise ship did not offer a tour to both places.
Matteo was a great driver and very helpful. I would recommend this tour. Vehicle was very nice, we were surprised at how beautiful the area was around Pisa and latte’s in coffee shop there were so good.
Simone provided a great experience for 8 of us. He was very knowledgeable about the area and got us from the cruise dock to both Pisa and Florence dropping us off and picking us up at a close location to the major sights. We had a wonderful day and learned a lot even though it was not designed as a full out tour. He got us back to the cruise boat in plenty of time. It was an excellent day!
Simone was excellent, he was very patient and obliging. La Spenza to Pisa and Florence is quite a drive we previously arrived at Livorno cruise port which was definitely easier. If arriving at La Spenza I would consider only doing Florence, the kids struggled with the long distances.
Simone was an awesome tour guide and driver. He is from Pisa so he provided a unique perspective and did a great job showing off his beautiful city. He took us to some of the most beautiful spots to take photos and then we were left in Florence to shop for a few hours. He gave us great directions and some recommendations as well. As soon as we called Simone and told him we were ready to go, He was there within five minutes. We really enjoyed our day with Simone and would highly recommend him in the future.

Wonderful service- very flexible, informative, and professional. We had a large party of 10, and Simone was extremely accommodating as we went from the cruise port to Pisa to Florence and back. He provided an excellent lunch recommendation and was very helpful with any questions we had with the history as we drove. We ended up going past our time, and he was more than happy to extend it for us. The car was clean, excellent AC, and very comfortable. Could not rate this service highly enough- so dependable and amazing!

We spent the day driving through the beautiful Tuscan region of Italy, learning about their culture. I was very happy to book our Pisa and Florence day excursion with Viator rather than the cruise tours. Why? It is because of our driver Drago and the personal attention you get from him as your own private guide. Drago was very pleasant, knowledgeable and accommodating to me and my family of four. We had the best time visiting the two cities and his recommendation of having lunch in Florence was an excellent choice. If you have only a day to spend in Pisa and Florence from the ship, this is the way to go. If possible, request for Drago to be your driver/tour guide.

We had an exciting tour of Pisa and the driver was informative and very friendly. He was patient traveling with a group of 5. He also took us to the the highest point in Florence to overlook the beautiful city and had time for picture taking and shopping at the top of the stairs. He then brought us to downtown Florence for shopping and lunch.
