Ned is a very knowledgeable and attentive guide. He took care of everything. My only issue is with Viator, they did not explain the transfer of logistics very well. We had a mixup in the morning and we were at the wrong pick up location The company in Florence went out of their way to fix our problem. Viator did nothing but take a percentage of the price.

Valentine was a great host and was very knowledgeable of all the areas we visited. Would recommend to everyone to use this company. Ask for Valentina.

Ned was great! We were able to see Cinque Terre and Pisa all in one day! Loved that this was a small group tour. Ned took us for a small hike that we would of never found on our own. He also took us to spots with great views for pictures. We had plenty of time to explore on our own. The only issue we have is the company changed the meeting point the day before our tour. The change was farther from the place we were staying at so we took a taxi I stead of walking.

Valentina is a knowledgeable guide who shares a wealth of information with her guests. We spent an amazing day with her exploring the Cinque Terre and the monuments at Pisa.

We met at 7:30 and were back 12 hours later after a full day seeing Cinque Terra and Pisa. Our tour guide Valentina was an amazing resource of information about every location and made all of the transportation go off without any issue. She was also exceptionally friendly and had the answer to any question that we had. We were also lucky to be paired with another family from the UK that were so much fun to travel with. Would highly recommend this tour.

Luigi was fantastic guide, he is a local Florentine and has so much knowledge of the history of each place. He showed us non-touristy local spots that were beautiful with no crowds. He took care of our safety around Pisa and Cinqueterre. Highly recommend!!

Valentina was a wonderful guide! The company kept our reservation even though we only had 3 people instead of the minimum 4 people. The stops were perfect and transportation flawless.

Would highly recommend. We had semi private van service doing it which made it feel like private tour with well air conditioned car the whole way. We got lucky too because there was no cruise ships in the cinque terre

Luigi was an excellent guide, very personable and funny, and got us everywhere we wanted to go safely and smoothly! He gave us plenty of tips of where to eat and explore, and where to avoid. He was incredibly helpful and I would recommend him and this trip 100%! Though the summer crowds were thick, Luigi showed us places to go to avoid them and see beautiful panoramic views. I was very pleased with this trip!!

We met our guide in the train station in front of the Farmacie. Conveniently located. Lucia met us there and gave us clear and concise instructions and directions and I was able to ask her questions along the way. Lucia and this company was great. I would definitely recommend this tour. If you want a more personal tour, you can always contact them and they will give you a tour guide (for a small fee) to help you navigate the train travel experience and make your time and experience even better.

Luigi was excellent! It was a long day but worth every penny. He had everything organized and we didn’t have to worry about anything.

This was such a fabulous day! Make sure to take a swimsuit and towel! I’m putting that at the beginning so you see it and don’t forget! There were 2 beautiful swim spots in the Cinque Terre that thankfully most of the kids could participate in! The villages were gorgeous with lots of delicious food, gelato and beverages! We booked this tour because the kids wanted to see the Tower, which the adults had no interest in. We saw the tower but it was far from the highlight of the day. Personally I would have loved more time in the villages with just a quick stop in Pisa long enough to take a photo of the tower and leave. Our guide Valentina was incredibly knowledgeable on the area and all the things to see and do.

This was my second time doing the tour the first time was in 2016 and it was amazing it was all trained back then it was a 14-hour tour this time we did about the same amount of time some was on by van and somebody train Luigi was the best tour guide we my husband and my daughter and myself just love Luigi he was so informative he was funny he actually took us to spots that I've never been to which was amazing so it was like seeing the place with a new set of eyes it's so worth it you really should go it's so worth it this tour was amazing, and you don't have to think you just have to go and see and the sights and that's the best part and at each spot you get your own time to take pictures I can't say enough about this tour it was amazing

I'm absolutely happy we decided to join this tour! In one day we've managed to see some of the very beautiful villages of Cinque Terre. Pisa was fabulous as well! Thanks to our tour leader, we learned so much and took loads of wonderful photos during the day! In addition, it was a small group tour, by minivan and train combined. We've seen many similar tours, but they all offer bus tours for 40-50 people, while we appreciated the intimacy and the personal attention of the guide for all the group members of our tour very much! I would also like to thank the reservation crew, as we had some troubles reaching the meeting point, and the team assisted us promptly and efficiently. Thank you all!! We'll definitely book with you again!!!

Our experience with Authentic Adventures was amazing. I was a little worried about navigating the multiple train trips on my own, but they made it seamless and easy to follow. Even when we missed a train because of a delay, they were available to help me solve the issue and take a different train to get back to our destination with ease. The friendly, helpful staff was a pleasure to work with! I would definitely book with them again.

We had a very nice tour of Cinque Terre and Pisa. The day was paced well with flexibility to do self exploration while having our guide Tony close at hand. All the hassle of ticketing was taken care of in advance which helped keep things moving well. It was a great experience and would recommend for families or small groups.

The trip was fantastic and Luigi made it even more memorable. We were also fortunate to be the only ones due to a cancellation so we basically had a private tour with Luigi. It is a long day but very well worth it. The Cinque Terre towns are breathtaking. Our daughter visited in summer and said it was very busy and crowded but December was perfect.
