Pisa, Siena, San Gimignano And Chianti: Tuscany Day Trip By Minivan

If I had 10 stars I would give this trip and specifically Francesco our driver for the day a 10 star rating. The Tuscany day trip was fantastic with 2 separate wine tastings as well as shopping in 2 small towns. Everything was amazing. To be honest, the best part of the trip was our driver Francesco. Due to the nature of the trip you spend quite a bit of time in the van as the locations are anywhere from 20 minutes to over 90 minutes apart from each other. Francesco was so kind, warm and fun and hands down impacted our entire experience. There is absolutely no way we would have had the same experience without him and he truly enhanced the entire day - he became a part of the group with us and it was difficult to say goodbye to him. We honestly wished we could have had Francesco as a personal driver and tour guide our entire time in Italy, which included Rome and Florence + the Tour of Tuscany. He created memories with us and an experience that we couldn’t possible forget. HIGHLY recommend this tour and do yourself a favor and ask for FRANCESCO.

Our guide, Francesco, was fabulous! He was so personable and made our experience phenomenal. We appreciate how friendly and accommodating he was to each and every one of our needs. He kept us on track while also being flexible when we needed to adjust things. The first winery was so intimate and private and the second had such a gorgeous view!

Would love to have more time at Pisa to climb the steps and could have less time at the last two places to make up For that.

We absolutely love our guide Francesco! He was absolutely outstanding and really worked hard to give us the best tour possible. We also loved the wine tasting and lunch. What we didn't like was the drive in comparison to the time spent in the cities. Pisa was 45 minutes, San Gimignano was 50 minutes and Siena was only 60 minutes. We would have rather dropped a city to have more time in them. The tour was spread too thin. We would have given the tour a lower rating if it wasn't for our incredible guide.

Benito was absolutely amazing. He was very informative and took the time to make stops for pictures and really did his best to make the tour special. Couldn’t ask for a better tour guide. The winery was great with a very passionate owner who was a fantastic host. All and all everything was perfect.

Benito, our driver was amazing. He stopped at all the great picture sites. He gave us some history along the way there was plenty of time in each occasion to enjoy it without feeling rushed, and he always looked out for us.

Tour was excellent. Wine and lunch were delicious. Tour guide was very organized and efficient while still being friendly and going out of the way to enhance our experience. We chose to see a lot in one day, so time was short in some spots, but a great day.

Francesco was Spectacular! Picked us up always on time and got us everywhere we needed to be on time! He even stayed longer on the trip as our Tuscan lady lunch/wine experience lasted long! We appreciated his insight into the history of the places we visited! Would highly recommend!

We started our day being picked up by Francesco, who was just a lovely human. He was pleasant the entire day pointing things out along the way sharing history and knowledge about the towns we were visiting. Our first stop was in the town of Siena. What a lovely town with many shops and just beautiful scenery. Then we stopped in what ended up being our favorite city: San Gimignano, the shops were amazing, the views were beautiful, everything about it we absolutely loved! Then we went into the hills of the Tuscan wine country and had lunch at a private vineyard called Corbucci Azienda Agricola, where we did wine tasting and had lunch. Outside we could see their vineyard and olive trees. The whole experience was top notch! We ended the day heading to the town of Pisa to view the famous leaning tower which was just amazing to see in person! Overall we loved this tour and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to see Tuscany!

Our tour guy/ driver, Benito, was amazing! He was very entertaining showing us the most beautiful spots in the Florence surrounding area. We had an amazing time!

Upgraded to a private tour and our driver, Manuel, was absolutely wonderful. From Florence, he picked us up in a luxury car and drove us to Pisa. From there, we went to San Gimignano for a tour of a Tuscan winery which included a phenomenal tasting. Manuel, being from Florence, had knowledge of many other sites and scenes as was sure to make us aware of them. On to Siena which was breathtaking. Duomo di Siena should be a Wonder of the World and the Palio di Siena was a sight to see. Again, Manuel knew all the right locations to go to and get the best views from this historic city. On the way back to Florence, Manuel have a great history lesson on Florence and it's importance to not just Italy, but the world. Would highly recommend this private tour and if possible, request Manuel. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

Edison was pleasant and accommodating to make this an enjoyable experience. It was more time than expected in the car but time went fast, driver was excellent and the vehicle was full luxury. The Vinyards and wine were amazing and well worth the trip. Plenty of food

A great day all around! Transportation was prompt and informative. All locations were worth the trip - especially the wine tasting. The Cubucci Family was amazing and so passionate!! Highly reccommend!

The description of the tour other inclusions was completely misleading compared to what was the actual experience. The Van was comfortable and ride also. But that's all there was to it - Trip said english speaking driver - our driver could barely manage to communicate in English - Tour inclusions said Wifi on board Van - there was NO wifi - lunch along with wine tasting - the sample menu indicate a full menu while what we got was - just a bit of bread and meat, a small portion dish of apparently main course (some tomato mash in bread with condiemnts- surely inadequate for 4 of us), and some biscuits in name of dessert! While I am sure the winery gave us what had been told to them by the tour operator, the operator should think. - tour said 4 locations, we got to get to 3- tour indicated speciitc times at all each location - our driver was insistent on speciitc timing to leave from each place well short of indicat d time All in all - tour operator needs to be more truthful on their tour description, inclusions and live up to that!

Did this trip yesterday and definitely worth doing it. Trip starts at 7:30 and lasts almost 12 hours. Well organised, air conditioned bus, and brilliant commentary during the day from the guides. We had the lunch option, which included wine tasting. Food was delicicious. Definitely worth doing

Our tour guide was the best. Constantine. And Stella was also great .tour was amazing loved everything about it. The bus is another story. 90 people I. The bus and it was hot. They had the air on but was not enough most of us were extremely hot. Would not use this company again because if the hot bus.

This was an amazing way to experience tuscany and the area around our hotel in Firenze. Benito was so friendly and shared information about the places we were driving by and the places we stopped. He also took AMAZING photos for us! Our stop in each location was breathtaking, and we saw spots we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. it was a small group tour but at each stop you were free to explore on your own. I highly recommend this tour!

The tour was tremendous! Our driver was a true professional. And our guide Aaron was the best funny, friendly, fluent, informative, and a genuine nice guy… the Chianti, Balsamic and oil tasting was tremendous. Our lunch super tasty.

I hate leaving negative reviews, but this one involves safety so I feel compelled to help others. This is only a private driver, no guide. They didn’t have anyone but us book, so shared they would have to cancel our trip, so I offered to pay the additional person $289, so that we could still go. We paid $1200 for the 3 of us to do this! Our driver was obsessed with checking his phone literally every 3-4 seconds. On the highway, on the winding roads. It was very unsafe, and I was stressed the entire day with his looking down to check his phone in his hand while driving! How on earth he didn’t have a phone holder at eye level, or use the talking navigation system is beyond me. Especially when even on the highway route for 30-60 minutes, when there was no need to check directions whatsoever, he still would be looking at his phone every 5 seconds. He was wonderfully nice, I don’t want to take away from that. The lunch at the winery was beyond disappointing as well. We were the only ones there, and the bottles they served us were $6-18 in price. The food was terrible. So expensive for a stressful day in a private car.

Wonderful experiences. Comfortable minivan. Guide was friendly and helpful. Nice lunch with wine tasting. If more times are given for us to explore more in Siena, it will be more preferable. Lots of walking but worth to visit.

Very good tour. The best part of the tour was the wine tasting and lunch at Poggio Ai Laghi winery. Our guide was well informed and had good details to share for each location.

I went to Pisa, Siena, San Gimignano and Chianti winery tour from Florence with friends. Out tour leader Marta was amazing, friendly, very knowledgable and helpful. Bus driver Giovanni is a professional driver and we felt very safe. Silvia at Siena was also amazing. I would recommend the tour to everyone

Our driver was wonderful, but our booking communication was difficult. We booked on line for Sunday. The company called saying they had to move us to Monday and asked for our hotel address for pickup. Later, there was change notification emailed. I did not see it. Morning of the pickup, we let them know we are in the lobby. They let us know we should meet them 30 minutes away. For $250 a person, a hotel pickup would have been better.

This tour had everything! It was amazing driving through all these small town we got about 1 hour per stop and had an amazing lunch and wine tasting! Lots of walking and great shopping but worth every penny!

A day trip starting above Florence, overlooking the beautiful city in a small group and a comfortable coach. The towns visited along the way were beautiful; Siena, San Gimingano were very picturesque and full of lovely shops and architecture. The wine tour included with the trip was wonderful, with a good lunch and a fantastic selection of local wines, that were readily available for purchase and shipping. The vineyard hosts were very knowledgeable and fun to listen to on the tour and happily shared their expertise. *WARNING However, skip the offer of the second wine tasting. The wines were delicious and the place was beautiful, but after the first, nobody was hungry or wanting to go through a whole second sampling of wines. And the worst part was there was a SURPRISE undisclosed additional charge of $25 per person, for truly, nothing. And because of the time spent there, we missed out on valuable time at the tower of Pisa. We just barely made it to the tower to snap a few pics before we had to leave. I would've liked to see the church and other attractions at Pisa, but we had no time.

Points of interest were good but driver did not speak. No guide information at all. I would at least expect some highlights.
