This was a lot of fun. Our instructor spoke perfect English as she’s an expat from California living in Italy for 20 years. We made 3 different kinds of pasta, then cooked and ate our creations in sauces she had prepared. She also provided wine and dessert. Very impressive! I learned a brief history of pasta as well. I highly recommend this experience

Join one of the most authentic pasta cooking classes in Florence, held in a beautiful historic palace just steps from the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio. This immersive Florence cooking class combines tradition, hands-on pasta making and a guided Tuscan wine tasting. It’s time for your hands-on pasta class in Florence. With the help of a professional instructor, you’ll learn how to make fresh pasta from scratch using a rolling pin and simple ingredients. Knead the dough and prepare classic shapes such as ravioli, tortelli and fettuccine. After the cooking class, sit down and enjoy the pasta you prepared together in a convivial Italian-style meal. The experience also includes dessert and a wine tasting of five organic Tuscan wines from our family farm, produced from traditional native grape varieties.

This is our second time attending this pasta class. It’s so much fun learning to make pasta and then being able to eat it.
This pasta-making class was phenomenal! I had taken one before, but this experience far exceeded it. Christina was a wonderful teacher, and the quaint setting and warm atmosphere made the class even more special. It was a highlight of our trip, and I would highly recommend it.
It was a wonderful experience. Went by so fast. Michelle was an amazing teacher, very patient, very knowledgeable, and interacted well with everyone. Would recommend this to everyone!
Excellent experience! Come hungry! Cooking with a group of 12. Made 3 types of pasta and enjoyed some local wine to enhance the fun.
We loved this experience! Ale was a wonderful host and chef, the group was small, and the hands-on instruction was fabulous. We all enjoyed the Pasta Museum as well and learned a lot. Finally, the food we made was great. There were no negatives for us, and I highly recommend the experience!
Great time, great( really GREAT) pasta, learned how easy it is to make fresh pasta. Class was fun and great chef!
Unbelievable experience and Michelle is the best teacher ever!!!
Perfect experience! Michelle was our teacher and she was so patient with our large group + kiddos! Would highly recommend this cooking class if looking for one in the Florence area!
Amazing experience! We learned so much from Simona. We enjoyed meeting new people from all over the world, learning how to make pasta and sharing a meal together.
Great experience. Nicalo was very knowledgeable and engaging. At the end of the night we had a fantastic meal and a lot of laughs. Highly recommend
Michelle was wonderful. She made it very easy to follow along and was humorous and very knowledgeable. It is a hands on activity and you will be standing for a couple of hours while preparing the food. It was delicious! We were a group of 14 and she handled everything by herself and with ease. Would definitely do this again, so much fun!!
Fantastic experience, lots of fun, delicious food and wine, Simone our teacher was brilliant
Simona was wonderful, helpful and great fun. Pasta making was enjoyable and very tasty. We all enjoyed whole experience the atmosphere was fun and relaxed and the meal, wine and chat was a higlight. Thank you Simona and Pastamania.
I had a wonderful time! I went by myself and it was close to where I stayed. Michelle was amazing and had lots of knowledge and excitement that she brought to the experience. I got to meet great people as well. The food we made was delicious and so was the wine after.
Amazing experience! We were with our three kids (ages 5-10), and they had so much fun too. Elenora was a wonderful teacher, making it easy for the kids to oarticilate. She was patient with the kids and full of fun and interesting tips. She treated us like her own family. We learned so much and can’t wait to try to make it all at home. We would absolutely recommend this class. It was the perfect way to spend the morning and we got to eat the wonderfully prepared pasta for lunch. A highlight of the trip for all of us!
The class was so fun, and the meal after was delicious! It was educational, too! The opening video we watched together is a little hokey, but overall its a great experience. We made fettuccine, ravioli, and tortelli. Our teacher Simona was very patient and hands on and invested in making us better pasta-makers!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our pasta class with Eloise. She was so kind, patient with everyone, very knowledgable, and encouraging. Our group had two kids (11&15) and it was the highlight of our Florence time. We booked our class for mid-day in July and it was a nice cool escape from the heat (air-conditioning was so pleasant), plus a full meal for all of us. Eloise was a wonderful teacher and not only was the food delicious, it was simple and easy to replicate at home. I would highly recommend this class for anyone who wants to experience a cooking class in Florence, but doesn't have time for a full day class, and/or with kids. Bonus was the yummy dessert surprise, juice, wine, and meeting other class attendees.
Warning! This trip is not £42 you have to pay 20 euros EXTRA an arrival PER PERSON! I booked Thai for a family of 5. Only afterwards did I notice in the 'nit included' section a charge for 20 euros would be added BUT it did not say per person. I really wouldn't of minded giving just 20 euros for a donation for the museum but not 100 euros which is extortionate. I messaged the company but only got a reply last minute and we were really looking forward to it. I then had to pay on arrival and at this point you don't want to tell your children that they are not doing it because of the cost. I feel trip advisor are not making this clear at the time of booking and I have tried to contact them but to no avail. Very misleading and I would ask them to get in touch with me.
It was a great informative and practical class. They provided recipe info and had beverages and dessert. We were able to eat our creations for dinner.
Camilla was amazing! We made the pasta, she then cooked it for us to eat. She answered every question patiently and showed us every step meticulously.
Great class in which our whole family learnt a lot about how to make and choose pasta. Really practical and my kids aged 11 and 12 loved it. A class for 9 people and it included dinner that you make with dessert and all drinks. Elenora was an excellent teacher - so kind and friendly and skilled.
What a fun evening! Our instructor was engaging and fun. She did such a great job, I've tried making the recipes twice since we returned from our trip.
Best experience to kick off our time in Florence! Eleanora was the most gracious and entertaining guide and worked well with guests of all ages, including my husband and me and our 2 daughters (ages 14 and 12). The instruction and food quality were top notch. We will be raving about this experience for years to come!
Would give 10 stars if I could - Michelle was the best instructor and made the experience extra special! We were a group of 10 – two families with 6 kids total ages 7-13 and she made the experience so wonderful for every one of us!
We had a wonderful experience in the class. The instructors were super engaging and welcoming. They made us feel like 1 big family. I would highly recommend this class to anyone!!
A really lovely experience. Elouise was a wonderful guide to all things pasta and along with giving a clear lesson, with lots of individual attention and guidance, she was really knowledgeable about the cultural and historical importance of communal making and sharing of food. We all really enjoyed the afternoon, and the food, and felt able to take the skills and knowledge back to our own kitchen, to share with the rest of the family.
The Chef was a wonderful and very knowledgable host and teacher. He used lots of humor, was encouraging, helpful and really helped the group connect. He was very personable and made the class enjoyable, fun and it really flew by! Thank you for everything, I highly recommend!!!!
Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens) had a great time spending a hot July afternoon making pasta with the Pastamania class. The location was easy to find, very clean and cool inside, and the staff were all very friendly. The class did start 30 minutes before the booking time on Viator (it was listed for 4:30 but actually started at 4) however the staff both emailed and called ahead of time to let us know about the time change, so it wasn’t a problem. We made delicious pasta, and our instructor (Alessandra?) was extremely informative and helpful throughout the process. We appreciated the small group size and our instructor was very patient with the youngest participant who was just 9 years old. This is a fun and engaging activity for any group (especially families with younger kids/teens) and the best part is that you enjoy the pasta you make for dinner!! Yes the “museum” is kinda cheesy but it’s just part of the process to make it more of an experience. This was a highlight of our trip and we can’t wait to make our own pasta once we get home!
My wife and I took the PastaMania class during our honeymoon in Florence, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. The small group setting made such a difference. There were only two other couples, so the experience felt very personal and hands-on. Alessandra was an incredible instructor—she kept everyone engaged, had such a warm and bubbly personality, and explained not just *how* to make the pasta, but *why* each step mattered. She was patient, encouraging, and made the class fun from start to finish. We made ricotta and truffle ravioli, ricotta and nutmeg tortellini, and fresh fettuccine served with an incredible pomodoro sauce. Everything was absolutely delicious, and it was so rewarding to make it all from scratch. The experience also included unlimited wine during the class, followed by a tasting of several different wines afterward, which was a perfect way to wrap up the afternoon. We were also surprised with a delicious chocolate dessert at the end, which was an unexpected treat and the perfect finish to an already amazing experience. As an added bonus, Alessandra recommended a gelato shop that turned out to be the best gelato we had in all of Florence! If you're looking for a fun, authentic, and memorable cooking class, especially as a couple, I couldn't recommend PastaMania more highly. We'd do it again in a heartbeat!

What a wonderful activity! Michelle was AMAZING and fun and engaging :) She did a great job walking us through the process. At the end you end up with a few pasta options to try! Can’t wait to make some at home.
Our family had a wonderful time learning how to cook pasta. It was some of the best pasta we had in Italy. Can't wait to go back home and try to make it home with the recipes they provided.
What a wonderful way to spend the afternoon in Florence! We had a large group of family and friends and it was a perfect activity for blended ages. We were there during a heat wave, so the nice air conditioned facility was great. It was also complete with a short informational film, a small museum on the history of pasta, and then the hands on class. Eloise, our chef, was warm, knowledgeable, and a wonderful teacher. She was patient and kind with all the children and adults. We thoroughly enjoyed the process of making the pasta as well as the feast itself! The food was delicious and the wine was great too! The adults felt like we left with the ability to do this again on our own, and they gave us recipe cards to help. Sometimes when you book things online you don’t know what you’re getting, but this was really as good as advertised. Don’t hesitate to sign up-just make sure you have ample time (our class was 4 hours) or communicate your time limits at the start of class.
Our family had so much fun at Pastamania! Eleanora was such a great host and teacher. And the food was absolutely amazing!
The pasta class was very informative and fun! My partner and I ended up sharing the class with a lovely family and enjoyed cooking with them and chatting with them during dinner. Our teacher was amazing and she was very attentive and knowledgable. The pasta was DELICIOUS and ended up being one of my favorite meals of our trip. Just note that Viator is not the most reliable place to book this. Our class was supposed to be at 4:30 but they did not reach out to tell me day-of that the class would actually be at 4:00. So we were 30 minutes late to class even though we could have easily shifted our schedule if informed ahead of time. I fully believe this was the fault of Viator, not the place that we took the class. So I would say definitely book this class for a fun experience and cool souvenir (knowledge and the recipe book), but maybe book it on a different site, not Viator.
We all had an amazing time! My adult children Husband and I had a wonderful time! One of our favorite things we did!
What a fun experience! Our chef was fantastic and made the class so much fun. The food turned out great and would highly recommend doing this pasta class!
Simone was an incredible host/chef/teacher. Our family of four, along with six new friends, learned how to make three types of pasta and then enjoyed two pasta dishes, organic wine and a chocolate dessert which was paired with limoncello. Included in our teachings were helpful hints on not only the creation of the pasta but also the ingredients for great sauces. It was such a fun time!
We had a wonderful time at the Pastamania class. My husband and I attended with our two boys (13 and 11), and they were thrilled with the pasta they made — my youngest now calls it his new favorite. It’s a great experience for anyone looking to enjoy a hands‑on pasta‑making session followed by a truly delicious meal.
Museum was a joke and a waste of time and money. The teacher was also not very engaging or informative.
This was a really wonderful class! I thought the teacher was really good and made things fun and easy to learn. Really appreciated her knowledge and the attention she showed us. She also created a fun and jovial atmosphere that helped everyone get in the mood and there was lots of camaraderie during the cooking, eating and wine tasing. 10/10 with no notes. Would definitely do again!
We made pasta with Simona today, and what a fantastic teacher and chef she is. She accommodated 8 of us with a breeze, the youngest being about 7 and the oldest was me at 65. She showed us how delicate yet robust pasta can be. We made fettuccine which was served with a tomato sauce and ravioli filled with ricotta, parmesan and truffel. This was served with a butter and sage sauce.
This Pasta Making Class is Amazing! My 2 adult daughters and I thoroughly enjoyed learning how to make real pasta from a professional chef in a professional kitchen in Italy! A memorable experience! The instructor was so knowledgeable and experienced and he made the class so much fun for everyone! After making the pasta, it was cooked and then we all sat down at a long table and enjoyed what we actually made with a glass of wine! So nice!!! It was lovely to share this experience with people from the Netherlands, Mexico, Brazil and Asia! Another amazing tour/ class with Viator!
It was great fun and learning experience! Don't miss it! They keep you in a small group and everyone gets to do it all! And then we ate it! Lovely evening!!
Unbelievable experience. Even better than we expected! Great combination of history, hands on learning - and eating! Highly recommended for kids or adults.
This cooking class with Matteo was absolutely the best. Matteo was fun, entertaining, and knowledgeable. I could not recommend this tour and Matteo highly enough. Also, the food was delicious.
What an amazing class! The instructor took her time to explain everything you ever wanted to learn about cooking pasta!
This was a phenomenal experience that I experienced with my niece. Great instructors, food and wine. I would definitely do it again.
This is a great experience of learning about pasta, make pasta and eat what you made along with others. Enjoyed the entire experience. Our pasta teacher was amazing in her instruction and interaction. Wine was excellent at the table and juice for kids. Couple wine tasting at the end was also nice. It’s a great location near the famous bridges. Worth the money spent. I would highly recommend this experience.
