Hot Air Balloon Ride In The Chianti Valley Tuscany

What a wonderful experience! Our pilot, Pascal, was informative and excellent at his job. The views were extraordinary and the post flight breakfast was very nice!

Experience of a lifetime! So very cool! Whole balloon team was amazing and our FEMALE pilot (sorry I forget her name) was incredible! She made it extra special with explaining how things work, pointing out sites on our hour-long journey, and answered questions with detail and enthusiasm. She really loves what she does and is extremely good at it. In fact, we learned she has the record of highest number of countries (125 so far) she has piloted in for a female pilot! Very impressive! This really is a bucket list experience and I highly recommend it as it is worth every penny! 🌸

We really enjoyed this experience overall. The meeting location was easy to find, the drive to the launch site was short, and everything started right on time. My only concern was the safety briefing. The pilot only briefly explained the landing position and what to expect during landing. Unfortunately, I chipped my tooth during the landing, so I think a more thorough explanation would have been helpful. I would also note that the basket has very low sides. It felt like it would be easy to lose your balance or tip outward. I was particularly concerned because I was traveling with my kids. Taller basket walls or even a simple safety strap or clip-in system would have provided much more peace of mind. The crew provided a lovely snack upon landing. Despite these concerns, we had a wonderful time, but I do think a few additional safety measures and a more detailed briefing would make the experience even better.

The view was amazing!!! Ellie was an amazing pilot and the crew was fast and helpful. One of the crew gave me his jacket because i was cold and our drivers were amazing!!

What a great way to start the day in Tuscany. There were 4 balloons so you could see the balloons in action as you rose in yours. Champagne and breakfast at the end.

What a perfect ballon experiment we had with Guido and his team. The morning flight was breathtaking. All was perfectly organised. We feld very save and comfortable. Not only the flight but also the prosecco and Tuscan bites served after the flight made it complete. Chapeau!!! Guido

Famous, they are - the balloon rides in/around Goreme. They cost something, as well and despite an historically low TR. But if you look at the organisation - and why should they reduce anyway - then, this all falls correct. We left our Hotel Manager to organize - and he chose well. Not too early (well, 4:40 a.m. but could have been worse 😉), we were picked up and brought to the start place. Breakfast served, while the crew and balloon rumbled in to get ready (took about half an hour + until - but as many others in the area in different stages, not a moment of boredom). Then boarding and soon being air borne. No clue, what time does to the balloon captains - we were not first and were not last in a vast amount of different balloons up, got up very high and had to opportunity to see lots of balloons diving into the Love Valley. We were getting worried, being in a balloon remainig high - when our captain Umit Ugur (brothersballoon.com) dove for it and showed his skills and the maneuverability of these hot air balloons. We could have jumped out at times, being so close to the ground, almost have touched the stones, observed birds living in the caves, ziggzacked through the pilons to finally lift over the observation platform ... and landed on the trolley attached to the off-roader pulling and positioning it, while the balloon still high. And while we climbed out and getting a proseco round, the balloon was taken down and stowed. Umit told us, we have had very good conditions, having allowed us not perfect views and rides, but also climbing unusually high and quick. Frankly a perfect trip - and definitely a MUST, being in Goreme (save money somewhere else, if ). We all greatly enjoyed the balloon trip.

There was zero communications from the local tour operator regarding pickup and location of the tour starting point, and we never went on the tour due to the complete lack of communication!! Balloon Team Italia is not a responsible and good tour operator!

The experience itself is amazing. It's a 100% enjoyment and 'pampering' by the staff. The courasoints we got there are by far the best we ate in our trip. That being said, there is a little thing that must be treated a bit differently: People must be kept in touch regarding pick-up more frequently. They mention that info will be sent after 18:00, and I found myself waiting almost till 20:00, quite anxious and believing someone had forgotten me. I would prefer to get a tiny message to calm me down, something like "don't worry, we are here, we will contact you in the next 20 minutes."

Three of us went with about a dozen others on this incredible journey in Chianti! The Aeronaut/pilot was very knowledgeable and friendly and fun to be with. He explained everything as we went along, which was wonderful to know. The experience was so amazing. Very quiet and comfortable. We had a champagne breakfast afterward. So much fun. This is a MUST DO in Tuscany! The views are enchanting!

Balloon Team Tuscany was wonderful on our hot air balloon ride! We were a group of 7 people and did a shared ride. Out younger kids had many questions about how the balloon works and functions - the team was very knowledgeable and addressed all of their questions. The actual ride was gorgeous and smooth over lovely tuscan region. The landing was a bit bumpy but was expected...the ride took about 30 minutes which was followed by breakfast of fresh cheeses, meats and breads from local farms along with a champagne toast. They provided juices for the kids! The price is a bit much, but it was worth the ride. Highly recommend this company and doing this if you are ever in this area!

I booked a group 13 friends July 7, 2022. We had an incredible time. The management team was always very responsive to my emails. They were friendly and made us all feel very comfortable and safe. The entire experience was beyond what any of us anticipated. What a great day with a yummy breakfast and champagne toast at the end!!! It was a bucket list item for many of us and was just incredibly special! Thank you for making this such a wonderful day. We will definitely be back!!

Fantastic experience, I celebrated my birthday in a hot air balloon 😅, experience suitable for those like me who suffer from dizziness. Experience beyond expectations! Since our arrival we have been greeted with sympathy and professionalism. We saw the balloons inflate and then, after some useful information, especially for landing, we got up in the air. Breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside, with Florence, San Gimignano in the distance, flying over the Chianti vineyards. Excellent pilot, Rafael, very prepared and with the joke always ready, as well as excellent all the staff on the ground who, on our return, offered us a glass of sparkling wine and a hearty breakfast. An unforgettable experience to do at least once in a lifetime. Pilot able to expert assisted on the ground by a team of qualified people and prepared both in preparing everything and in welcoming passengers. The breathtaking view as well as photos and movies made by me is enriched by other material made by the staff.
