You don’t need horseback riding experience to ride these horses. Yet if you are experienced, you will still enjoy the ride. The views are spectacular. Our guide was amazing, and went out of his way to ensure we enjoyed ourselves. Lunch was very good. Our visit to San Gimignano was a highlight. I only wish we had an hour longer in town. O highly recommend this to anyone

Was a lovely experience, guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, would definitely recommend.
I went on this tour with my husband and we had such a wonderful day! The horses were sweet, the food was delicious, and wine was good. Our guide Lorenzo was fun and made the day great, he took nice photos of us and made sure we enjoyed our time. He clearly loves what he does.
It was 100% one of our favorites!! I am so sorry I forgot his name, but our driver sang to us on the way to Tuscany. The horseback riding through the trails were absolutely beautiful. And afterwards we were able to taste us four different wines with some bruschetta and ravioli! Everyone was absolutely amazing and I would go back two seconds! Thanks for making our vacation so amazing.
Lorenzo made this experience an incredible one!!!!! He was such a great driver and went the extra mile for our family to make it a very special day! I would do this over and over without hesitation. We loved every minute of it! Even the drive out was so much fun and so much to see. 1000% recommend this to anyone coming to Florence!!!
Lorenzo was exceptional throughout the entire day! Had a great time seeing the lovely Tuscany region and meeting new friends
Daniele was an incredible guide and made our van journey so much fun. Horses were great and there was so much good food and wine. Do not sleep on the honey. It's unreal. Absolute 100/10
Issam was a wonderful guide and it was a perfect day in the countryside; a nice shift from the city travelling we were doing. He was very warm, attentive and knowledgeable about the different places we visited and about the wine making process. We told him it was our honeymoon and he took lots of wonderful photos and made the day feel extra special! The horseback riding was amazing, and the hour flew by. I never wanted to stop riding! It was my first time on a horse but their temperament was great for any beginner. The place we stopped for lunch was also incredible. The views of the tuscan hills coupled by incredible food and wine. We actually even met a couple there who used to live in Italy and asked how we found the place, because it’s very much an “if you know you know” location. Altogether highly recommend this experience!
The knowledge of the the guide Sam was fantastic, so friendly and courteous. The people on the visit for the wine tasting and food tasting were so friendly, we had a great time.
The whole family enjoyed this tour. The horseback ride through the rolling hills as beautiful and relaxing. We had just enough time to do some exploring and shopping in Sam Gimignano, then our lunch at a winery restaurant with stunning views. Our guide Lorenzo was top notch. Meetup was easy and several other tours were meeting at the same location, so we knew we had the right place. Transport was comfortable. Loved the small group nature of the tour. I was a bit nervous about booking this one, but was so glad that I did.
Loved the whole experience. Amazing and super comfortable. Great host, and I ate and drank so much hahaha! Must do if you’re going to Tuscany!
Lorenzo was fantastic the horseback riding was not the best. We were the second group to go the course seemed very tired, hot and slow. The person who lead the way only spoke Italian didn’t give us any commands in Italian. We were the 3,4,5 horses and essentially were in silence because we had no idea what he was explaining. Be the end I was very concerned about my horse he was coughing and wheezing. I shared this with stable and they still out about group after us. It was too hot for the animals. Almost felt like abuse,
This was amazing. The horse ride was unique, relaxing and so much fun. The tour guide gave us some background information on the way to the vineyards and about San Gimignino which was very interesting. And then we had a lovely meal with wine to top it all off. Would 100% recommend.
Such an incredible day spent in Tuscany and easily one of the highlights of our Italy trip! A huge thank you to our guide, Lorenzo, who truly made the day unforgettable. He was so much fun, kept the energy up all day, and went above and beyond to make sure everyone had the best time! Couldn’t recommend this tour enough. Grazie, Lorenzo!
Lorenzo was the best guide we had all trip and this was the absolute best excursion we had all vacation. Highly recommend this to anyone. We feel we made a new friend from this experience
Was a great experience, horses were an easy ride and well trained. The guide was a lot of fun and made the car ride quite enjoyable with his playlist. Finally the restaurant in the hills of Tuscany was amazing, lots of food, lots of local wines, made the whole experience. Would recommend.
This was probably our favorite excursion of the trip. The tour guide was incredible (Giacomo) and truly went the extra mile to make it memorable. The horses were well trained and the vineyards were beautiful to ride through. The tour of San Gimignano was a great experience and the wine tasting/lunch was excellent. This was worth every penny and we will be booking other tours through them!
This was the perfect experience for our entire family. I (grandpa) stayed back with the two-year-old and had no problem entertaining him for an hour while the other seven of us enjoyed the ride. The tour and free time of the medieval village of San Gimignano was as much fun for the kids as it was for the adults. Of course it helped that there was a world-famous gelato store with an overwhelming number of flavors. The Champagne-grapefruit one was very refreshing on a hot day. We also highly recommend taking a quick right as soon as you pass the wall of the town and walk up the ancient medieval walkway. Lunch and wine-tasting at the organic farm, Fattoria Poggio Allora, was flavorful and delicious featuring vegetables and olive oil from the farm as well as their wines. It is also one of the few places in the region that grows saffron. I loaded up at the wine store before we left. The saffron was less than half the price I pay at home. Our driver, Lorenzo, grew up in the region and was very informative. He answered all our questions with ease and elaborated eloquently. We asked him everything from cycling on the narrow roads to harvesting methods (all by hand) and seasons. The company was very accommodating: willing to arrange for us to be picked up in the village where we were staying (Montespertoli) rather than in Florence. All we had to do is ask. I can’t recommend this highly enough. All of us (even the two-year-old) would do it again in a heartbeat.
We had a completely wonderful time on our horseback tour. Lunch was just wonderful and the stop in San Gimignano was a great break from the city. Christian was a fantastic guide four our group! Definitely just book this!
Wonderful trip with a wonderful guide. Beautiful landscape during horseback riding. Nice quick trip into San Gimignano and then tasty lunch and wine tasting.
liked it a lot Lorenzo was nice
What a fabulous way to experience a beautiful part of Tuscany! Our guide Stefano was just gorgeous - happy to share his knowledge with a lovely sense of humour. All elements of the day went smoothly but Stefano was also flexible enough to ensure our lttle group was happy all day. *As a rider, it was important for me to see that the horses were healthy and well trained.
This was an amazing experience! There was time for shopping, horseback riding, plus a delicious lunch and generous wine tasting. I highly recommend this tour.
Lorenzo made this a fantastic experience! We had plenty of time to see the city as well as a relaxing horseback ride through the Tuscan countryside and delicious lunch. Our guide Lorenzo made the experience smooth and gave us insights into the area. Highly recommend this tour!
Wonderful day spent in Tuscany! We explored San Gimignano then went to the stables to saddle up and ride through the countryside. A beautiful way to see the Italian country up close. We ended at a vineyard and had an incredible lunch with wine tasting. Just perfect!
Even my kids agreed that this was one of our best outings as a family! We enjoyed every part of it. Our guide, Lorenzo, was amazing. The horseback ride was exactly what we’d hoped, we loved San Gimignano and could easily have spent more time there , and the farm winery lunch was idyllic. My kids (teenagers) loved the food and the peaceful setting.
Guide was great, the entire day was a lovely experience and the lunch at the winery was superb - delicious food, atmosphere, friendly hosts.
My cousin and I so loved our Sunday on Max’s tour. The horseback ride was a delight, the food and wine were remarkable, and Max’s expertise and hospitable, warm, fun personality made this a highly memorable day in Tuscany!
Our driver Tommaso was amazing. Very caring and enthusiastic about presenting the best tour ever. Which it was. I am quite matured and I felt in safe hands riding the horse. The food at vineyard was amazing. So much wine to drink. Only wish there were more people to drink it with. A 5 star tour
Are day trip was amazing, seamless pick up and drop off. Tomass made the trip, he was extremely knowledgeable and kept everyone included. It was definitely value for money. I would 100% recommend. The horse riding was lovely, very peaceful and the small town we visited was stunning. Thank you to the vineyard that hosted us. The food was exceptional
Horse riding was fun and the alternative wine tasting fantastic. Time in San Gimignano limited, know what you want to do. Lunch was fantastic
It was so lovely - a dream come true. The guide was with us throughout the day and he took suoer great care of us. The views were 10/10, the food and wine was delicious and overall it was one of our best spent days in Italy. Will hopefully be back one day!
Absolutely amazing 10/10 experience. They made me feel so special on my birthday. My tour guide Daniele made it such a memorable experience and took the time to explain every piece of history through the tour, he really made me feel special on my solo tour. Everything was set up perfectly the horses, the lunch, the wine was exquisite. 100 percent recommend booking and make sure to ask for Daniele as your tour guide.
Pick up point was easy enough to find. The transport was very comfortable and fantastic music choice from Daniel! Horse riding was really good fun, we went round the vineyards and farms around the area. The lunch was AMAZING! We didn’t realise we would be getting as much food. The wine tasting was good and the guide provided information about each wine and was happy to answer any questions. The visit to the local town was a really nice added extra. Daniel was great in providing some facts and information and giving us recommendations for our free time. Would definitely recommend for a fun day out in Tuscany!! Thank you Daniel and all the team who were involved on the day.
This was such an amazing experience!! I am a solo traveler but met an amazing group of people doing the same horseback riding experience! Daniel (our tour guide) was so funny and informative, and he even offered to take really nice pictures for us. The lunch at the winery was fantastic, and there was loads of food (soup, cheeses, meats, bread, pasta, dessert) plus four wines to taste. Incredible price for the experience considering it includes the horseback riding, lunch, San Gimignano tour, wines (with refills included ;)), and round trip transportation! The horses are so nice, you absolutely don’t need any experience to have a great time. The views are so beautiful, I can’t wait to go back and do this again!
What a fun experience with a small group out in the beautiful Italian countryside. Horseback riding, visit to San Gimignano and then lunch and wine tasting made for the perfect day.
Our day in Tuscany was absolutely incredible, thanks to our guide, Giacomo. From the moment we were picked up, he made us feel welcome and kept us engaged with his wealth of knowledge about the region, Chianti wine, and the history of San Gimignano. He had the perfect mix of professionalism and personality, always sharing interesting stories, helpful travel tips, and hidden gems along the way. The entire experience was so well-organized — comfortable transportation in an air-conditioned van, a scenic horseback ride with beautiful photo spots, and a delicious Tuscan lunch complete with five cheeses, two local meats, and perfectly paired wines. The visit to the Chianti winery was a highlight, and the tasting of five wines and their olive oil was outstanding. San Gimignano was just as magical as we’d hoped, and Giacomo made it even more memorable with his insights into its medieval charm. This tour felt personal and authentic from start to finish. If you want to truly experience the heart of Tuscany with someone who loves what he does, ask for Giacomo — he made our trip unforgettable.
Where do we even begin?!? Such an incredible day led by Daniel and the FIT Team. 😊. The panoramic views experienced during the horseback ride were spectacular, the history shared, and the nooks and crannies explored, during the guided tour of San Gimignano were so much more compared to the big group we previously experienced. We had time on our own to take in more breathtaking views, purchase leather goods from the recommended Le Torri and sample the famous Dondoli gelato. Finally, our day concluded at Fattoria Poggio Alloro. The wine tasting, luncheon and Gratta/Limoncello tasting were divine. The team surprised me with a candle, singing and an Italian champagne tradition for my 50th Birthday! So very unexpected and so very kind indeed. I look forward to returning to Italy next year and I can’t wait to book my next adventure with FIT. With love - Melissa and Cyleigh 🤎
This experience was absolutely incredible from start to finish! Riding through the vineyards on horseback was straight out of a dream — peaceful, beautiful, and so well organized. The horses were calm and easy to ride, making it totally stress-free. We loved exploring a medieval Tuscan town and then finishing with an amazing lunch and wine tasting at a local winery. The staff at every stop were so welcoming, and the included transport made the whole day effortless. 10/10 recommend!
A calm and relaxing day in an area that I never knew about. The small town that we went into after the horseback riding was so neat.
If you want a true Tuscan experience, look no further. This surpassed all expectations! Our guide, Daniele, was terrific. He showed us historic spots on our way through Florence to the farm, was with us every step of the way (minus the horse ride) to ensure all our needs were met, and taught us how to enjoy the Tuscan country side. The horse ride was absolutely stunning, with unbelievable views and breath taking scenery. The town visit was spectacular, and included some of the best gelato in the world (it has won multiple world contests)! The lunch was incredible, with all local products and delicious food every step of the meal. Can’t recommend this experience enough! If I could rate it a 6 out of 5 stars I would.
My favorite part was the horses and Daniele our tour guide definitely made this trip. He was awesome suchhh a great personality! Everything was well organized i will say that the horses could be better taken care of. There were A LOT of flies and i know that cant be helped completely but they can minimize them with spray and cleaning. Their eyes were dirty with gunk and their tails weren’t brushed they had soooo many tangles and filled with foliage of the area and burrs. Everything else was amazing i like the small trip to San Gimignano! The drive back into the city was a lot of fun we listened to music and sang a long time familiar songs for everybody. Daniele made an effort to make everyone feel included and welcome. Great experience (:
Amazing relaxing experience. Great to be away from hectic tourist centers. Wonderful family vineyard hosts and guide. Stefano was attentive and informative.
Minimal horseriding experience required. Walking pace through vineyards with great panoramic views. Great, unlimited food and wine at the wine tasting with more photo ops. Stop in San Gimignano was just enough time to explore and get a gelato. Guide was great and knew how to work a slightly tipsy crowd on the ride home. Trip was worth the cost in my opinion.
This is by far the best tour I’ve booked yet! We rode super sweet friendly horses through a vineyard, then got to stop and explore a small quaint Tuscan town (that has the best voted gelato in all of Italy), and finished up with wonderful views and an amazing lunch at a winery. Just a short drive from Florence, we got to see a large amount of the Tuscan culture! 15/10 would recommend!
We really enjoyed the experience, and our driver/guide was fabulous. We would have preferred that the tour include more about the wine and olive oil-making process. Also, we were required to wear hair nets under the helmets, and thus, all the photos were ruined!
I’m not usually one to even do reviews but wow what a company! Sam the company owner is the best person, my friend and his girlfriend got engaged on our tour and Sam made it the most exceptional experience, when I say above and beyond I mean it. Sam is not only an incredible tour guide but just the most warm family orientated person around (to the point where we invited him to dinner with us because we loved him and his friends so much). Genuinely can’t recommend booking with fun in Tuscany more! They have so much to offer and are amazing people. 5 stars isn’t enough! Book this tour asap, a wonderful place but even more amazing people that run the place, well worth the money!
This was such a special experience! The horseback riding was so scenic and fun, and the tour guide, Daniel, was great. We got to visit San Gimignano, a stunning town that feels like you’ve stepped back in time. It also had the best gelato I’ve ever had! The wine tasting at the end was the cherry on top - delicious wine and food with gorgeous views. Would recommend!
Our guide Danielle was fantastic. Really got the group going. Loved the horse ride through vineyards and San Gimignano was a beautiful place to visit
Incredible experience. Views & food & wine was unmatched. The guide was great and the experience was wonderful.
