This class was a 10 out of 10! The chef is gluten free, knowledgeable and entertaining. He was able to accommodate other allergies if communicated ahead of time. My daughter has some complicated allergies and we felt very comfortable in this class. I highly recommend this class, we appreciated so much being able to participate. This made our first trip to Italy very special.

Such a fun and enjoyable Gluten free pasta making class! It was very engaging and Informative about making pasta. The entire class is hands on and easy to do for any age! Roberto was an excellent teacher and entertaining the entire time! This class is a must for anyone wanting to make fresh pasta, but especially those who are gluten free!
Highly recommend this experience. As someone with celiac I was very excited to learn. Got to make pasta and get the recipes to take home too!!!!
I booked this for my partner and I but unfortunately became very sick the day of. My partner went without me and he had a great time. I also got sent some food for him to take to me which I appreciated so much!!
Amazing time! Roberto was funny and gave clear instructions. The wine was flowing! Best GF pasta I’ve ever eaten in my life and I feel like we could actually make it again at home. We’ll remember this class forever!
I was so excited to take the class. Scheduled the class a few months ago and I've been talking about it with friends. I was running behind I sent to text to the organizer period so I was running a few minutes a lot behind. I did not hear from him once I found the place I tried to call and I got no answer. I trade pounding on the door but nobody came to the door. Here is hoping that I can get my money back.
I had a fantastic time at Roberto’s gluten pasta class! He is a great and funny instructor, making everything easy to follow and understand. He explained each step clearly, and the recipes were delicious! I learned so much and had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this class to anyone who wants to learn how to make gluten free pasta from scratch!
Visiting Florence? Put this gluten-free pasta making class at the TOP of your list! 🇮🇹🍝 We spent 3 hours learning to make three types of pasta from scratch, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. I’d recommend it even if you’re not gluten-free! My daughter has coeliac disease, so finding a course where we felt safe with the food made the experience extra special. We could relax and enjoy every moment without worrying about her dietary needs. Chef Roberto was hilarious, and we spent the whole session laughing with a brilliant group of people. We made new friends, enjoyed the pasta we’d prepared together, and even had complimentary unlimited Tuscan wine and soft drinks ! 🍷🥂 I can’t wait to recreate the pasta at home. 100% recommend a must-do in Florence, especially for anyone travelling with coeliac disease! ❤️
This was such a great time! We had two elderly parents (78 and 82), two of us (middle age) and our college age daughter and all of us loved it. Doable for any age. Roberto, our chef and course leader, made the whole experience a lot of fun. High energy, funny, engaging and a very knowledgable chef. He kept things moving along and, if anyone got behind at all he got them caught back up. It wasn't stressful in that way. I wasn't sure how we were going to make all of those dishes in the amount of time we had, but it was all coordinated so well that we really did finish with three delicious meals. He made the sauces while we made the pasta. The butter and sage ravioli was one of the best meals we had on our entire trip to Florence. We're planning to use the recipes and have a make-your-own-pasta night with our family sometime soon. (Shout out to Roberto's nephew Louis, kept it all moving behind the scenes and was so helpful to us, rounding up a bunch of to-go boxes.)
Chef Roberto is very knowledgeable, welcoming, and entertaining. He explained the science behind the cooking that enhanced the experience.
Roberto was excellent and the pasta was incredible. My faincee who is gluten free loved all of the dishes and we both learned a lot
Making gf pasta dough for 3 different dishes with Roberto was so fun and delicious! My husband and I totally enjoyed the fun atmosphere and learning how to make the 3 different kinds of gf pasta. The class was 3 hours and went so fast because of Roberto and his energy to keep the experience moving!
If you’re in Florence, Roberto’s gluten-free (GF) pasta-making class is an absolute must-do. From the moment we walked in, he brought so much energy—he’s incredibly fun, engaging, and genuinely entertaining, which made the entire experience even better. Beyond the fun, the class was surprisingly educational. We learned so much about making different types of gluten-free pasta from scratch and, just as importantly, how to cook them properly. Roberto explains everything in a way that’s easy to follow, even if you’ve never made pasta before. One thing that really stood out was how accommodating the class was—the entire experience was safe for those with celiac disease, which can be hard to find. The whole experience was just a blast. Our group ranged in age from 17 to 50, and every single person had an amazing time. And the best part? The food we made was absolutely incredible—honestly some of the best pasta we had in Italy. Highly recommend this class to anyone visiting Florence—you’ll leave full, happy, and with skills you can actually use at home!
Great experience for my wife and I. Great host and teacher. Would recommend.
What a fun class! We learned to make 3 types of pasta. Roberto was extremely knowledgeable and funny. He was also very accommodating for our specific dietary needs. Highly recommend!
This was an amazing cooking class and it was fun to learn how to make 3 different kinds of GF pasta that tasted amazing! Roberto was an amazing guide and made it easy to follow along and he made the class so much fun! He also went above and beyond and called a taxi for us at the end of class! You don’t want to miss this experience if you are GF!
We had a fantastic time! It was wonderful to be able to participate in something like this despite my allergy to wheat. We were the only two people in the class, so we got lots of individual attention—which was definitely needed given our questionable pasta-rolling skills! 😂 Everything was absolutely delicious, and the whole experience was so much fun. The wine kept flowing too. We loved it!
We had the best time with Roberto, making gluten free dough and three different types of pasta, enjoyed with three different sauces. My husband is Italian and not GF and he loved the experience and the meal. In fact he immediately said we need to make the sage and butter ravioli at home. It was a lot of fun!
Roberto was the single best “tour guide” I have had on any experience in all of my travels. His energy was so unbelievably friendly and he made everyone in the class feel like friends. This class is 100% worth going out of your way to attend. Even if you’re not gluten free.
10/10 experience, couldn’t recommend enough!!! Roberto has a humorous personality and really supports you along the way. I especially recommend this for my fellow celiacs. We had the best time, enjoyed the company of other attendees , and left full and happy. It is so worth it!!
This was my favorite part of my time in Florence! I seriously had so much fun and learned so much at the same time.
Such a fun experience, especially for a traveling celiac. The classroom is completely gluten free without any risk of cross contamination. Not to mention the food we all shared at the end was delicious, and the bottomless wine didn’t hurt either! We made three types/shapes of pasta, and the instructor made the different sauces for them. At the end of the class we were able to enjoy everything that we made, and I came away from the class feeling as if I could replicate the pasta making at home. For the first time since I was diagnosed I have hope for good pasta again! Many thanks to Roberto and the experience he created.
We were really looking forward to the class; however, it was a huge let down. If you are looking for cheap wine, a less than knowledgeable self declared celiac (who doesn’t appear to have any proper training), eating food that lacks flavour and is held in the back room of a poorly air conditioned restaurant, then… this is the class for you. We were both extremely ill after the class which lays into question if this was truly gluten free.
Amazing experience! I could not recommend this more whether you need to eat gluten free or not. My wife and I loved having Roberto as our chef and instructor for this class. Because my wife has celiac it is very difficult to find experiences like this back in the states, so this was perfect. We really enjoyed this opportunity. If you are in Florence and are looking for a cooking class or walking/biking tour, you must book this class or another offering from Roberto. He makes the experience better than the others. I would take this class with Roberto again in a heartbeat the next time I am in Florence.
Chef Roberto was great!! He makes the class so much fun, you can truly see the passion he has for this class and how much he puts into it. We are celiac and were very impressed with the care that Chef Roberto puts into this class for make it safe for celiacs. We would rebook this class every time we are in Florence and would recommend anyone, gluten free or not, to book this class!
We had a great time during this glass! Pasta we made was great!
What a great experience. So much fun, amazing host. Great value for money and delicious gluten free pasta dishes. The ravioli with sage and butter was delicious. 3 hours absolutely flew by. Highly recommend even if you can eat gluten it’s still the best pasta making course to do.
Roberto was great! Very engaging and informative. Would recommend. Husband has celiac and the class was perfect for us!
Roberto’s class is so much fun! He brings some great energy and there is always something going on. I highly recommend!
If you are celiac or if you have to maintain a gluten free diet, this is a MUST-DO-EXPERIENCE in Florence! Our chef, Roberto, was knowledgeable, funny, and a pretty good singer! He did a great job of teaching us the steps for preparing our own GF pasta. He also shared cooking tips and a bunch of cultural culinary knowledge with us. In the end, we enjoyed 3 pasta dishes (each with a different delicious sauce), so make sure you bring an appetite.
Roberto was fantastic, humorous, and extremely knowledgeable throughout the class, blending information about gluten free cooking with the fun of getting to make pasta ourselves. The whole experience was joyous and I couldn't recommend this class enough!
We had the BEST time with this experience! Roberto was very knowledgeable about celiac and made sure we were safe. Beyond that, his stories, jokes, and personality made sure we had so much fun while learning to make pasta! Plus, the end result was delicious!
Roberto was amazing! We had a great time, learned how to make different types of gluten free pasta, and enjoyed a delicious meal. Roberto kept the class both educational and entertaining. I would highly recommend this activity!
Great gluten free experience w my family! Being celiac I felt safe! The cook was celiac too! I just wish we got the recipes/ ingredient's he used for the pasta.
What an amazing and fun way to spend some time in Florence. The class was outstanding and Roberto made the afternoon with his funny stories, hilarious jokes and great advice for making the best GF pasta. What seemed like an intimidating venture turned out to be one of our favorite activities. We are very excited to try out our new skills at home. Our meal was delicious and we left very full. Would recommend this to anyone who wants to learn to make pasta in an environment that will celebrate your “oops” moments and turn them in to fun ways to prefect a new skill. Thank you again, Roberto!
Great experience and amazing food. Our group learned a lot and instructor was extremely knowledgeable fun & enthusiastic. It was amazing to have a safe gluten free class for celiac. Highly recommend.
Roberto was fantastic. We throughly enjoyed ourselves and learned a lot. I am not gluten free, but I couldn’t believe how much like regular pasta the results were.
Roberto is the best! Making the pasta never felt stressful and he gave very clear instructions. You will be FED. I’ve never been so full of yummy pasta in my life 😋🍝
We had a wonderful experience making classic Italian pastas and drinking wine! Roberto who teaches the class is hilarious, and a great teacher. He really took his time to make sure everyone in the class understood how to work with the dough, and the history behind each pasta shape. The pastas tasted so good you would never know they were all gluten free. My boyfriend and I highly recommend this class to anyone visiting Florence (gluten free or not)!
Brilliant host, very entertaining as well as knowledge. We made 3 types of gluten free pasta from scratch and very tasty. Would highly recommend
Our family of four all agreed this experience was one of the highlights from our trip to Italy! Roberto was wonderful working with our kids (ages 5 and 7) and made the class fun for all. He has taken all precautions to ensure the class is safe for those with celiac disease. The 3 pastas we made were all delicious. Come hungry as the portions are large!
The process was fun. Learning to make a simple ravioli filling was nice. Unfortunately to pasta was no good. The sauces were good but a little watery
It was a real treat, an important one, to learn how to make pasta that is gluten free. Only one of our party of five was gluten intolerant, but the class and experience with Roberto was useful and fun for us all. I highly recommend for those who want to learn how to make pasta for those unable to tolerate gluten. We are so glad Roberto teaches this class.
The pasta making class was truly a highlight of Florence and our trip. Roberto was engaging, funny, and made the evening so much fun. I did not think I would be able to find a gluten free pasta making class and one where my husband who is not gluten free said was absolutely delicious! We would highly recommend.
Gluten free pasta class, say less!! Roberto was a wonderful host and teacher!! He kept this 3 hour long activity fun and upbeat while we made 3 types of gluten free pasta! The dishes were absolutely delicious too! So happy we chose to do this!
Roberto is a great teacher and funny too! Very entertaining hands on class. My husband was definitely hesitant about going, however he had the best time! The three pastas our group prepared along with the sauces Roberto made were delicious. Good choice of wine too (and non stop!)
I highly recommend this class!! If you are in Florence, it’s a must do if you are gluten free . We were in Italy on a girls trip. I am the only one who has Celiac and was excited to see this class. We agreed and everyone had such a great time! It was the best decision and first for all of us taking a pasta making class. Roberto is a great teacher and chef! He has a lot of patience too. He made the class fun, lots of laughs all while learning, plus the unlimited wine lol! We had a great group of girls who were also doing the class. It was definitely a highlight of our trip. We have the memories and now the skills & knowledge to make pasta for a lifetime! Thank you Roberto!
Amazing experience and delicious pasta!! Like others have said … can’t believe that was gluten free!
Be prepared to have fun while you prepare actually great gluten free pasta. Roberto is an excellent teacher with much patience and good humor. My husband grumbled about taking this class. Who was the one who had the most fun? Yes himself! We have never taken the time to book something like this. We are traveling with our granddaughter and her boyfriend. This was her choice for the daily activity and she made a fun and wise choice. Roberto is fantastic. We are leaving Florence with a new skill to take home to share with more family and friends. Take this class! You won’t be sorry.
The experience was wonderful! The chef immediately let my partner and I know of potential air cross contamination of gluten but ensured us that every ingredient we would be using was gluten free. The chef is also celiac so he was very understanding and knowledgeable about everything. The chef was kind, funny, and very helpful to each person when making the pasta. It was overall and very great experience and would 10/10 do this again!
