The day began with a quick tour of the city then up into the gorgeous hills. My husband and I had a fantastic day riding throughout the Tuscan Hills. We enjoyed a superb lunch @ a boutique winery. The guide, Alex was knowledgeable, professional and extremely helpful. Highly recommend this day bike tour.

This bike tour was an amazing way to see Florence from a fresh new perspective! My only regret is that we didn’t do it earlier in our trip. Having a local guide share insider tips and recommendations for other sites to see would have been incredibly helpful for our first few days. The entire experience, from the incredible food to the wonderful atmosphere, was absolutely amazing. If you are visiting the area, please don't miss out on an opportunity like this! To top it all off, our tour guide's recommendation for a gelato spot after we got back was truly THE BEST gelato I have ever had in my life, and I know I'll continue to think about it for a long time. Highly recommend!
What a great experience! The tour was great with stunning views, and Eduardo was a fantastic guide! Bikes are in great condition and learning to use the e-bike feature was super simple. The winery was amazing and lunch was one of the best meals we had in Florence!
Claudio made our trip extra special. The ride was so beautiful and we had plenty of stops to learn about the landscape and history. And the lunch was fabulous. Definitely a highlight of our trip.
Amazing experience. Antonio was an amazing tour guide and La Pia was a beautiful destination - the food and the wine were delicious.
Ale was a great bike guide and we had a wonderful day. The visit to the Olive orchard and farm was a bonus! Highly recommend.
We came from New Zealand and wanted to do a bike tour. We couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide than Luca from We like Tuscany - I bike Italy. We did the full day tour on e-bikes on the outskirts of Florence and a visit to a beautiful olive and vineyard where we were treated to the most amazing olive oil tastings and fresh lunch, which we had after a guided tour of the vineyard. All through the tour the scenery was stunning. Luca was an amazing guide and he also managed to add on extra sites for us to view. We couldn’t recommend this day tour enough.
Cant rate this highly enough - i had gastro but thought I would be ok on the day, turns out I wasnt. The team were so lovely. Made it to the farm, Marta is a delight and my family had an amazing lunch (I napped then got taken back in the van). Absolute must-do it you're in Florence, I'm so sad that I wasn't well and couldn't enjoy it fully.
We LOVED our full day tour! Our guide, Jacopo was outstanding! We had never ridden e-bikes, but they easy to learn and ride. The Tuscan countryside scenery is just what you’d hope for. The farm was charming and lunch was so fresh and delicious! I think this will be our most unforgettable experience in Italy. Plus, the tour company was professional and organized. Highly recommend, a great experience all around!
We had an unforgettable experience on this bike tour, thanks to our guide Ale — one of the friendliest, most knowledgeable, and intuitive tour guides we’ve ever met. Ale struck the perfect balance between insightful storytelling, engaging conversation, and giving us space to soak in the beauty of Florence and the Tuscan countryside. He led us through scenic backroads, quiet neighborhoods, and stunning viewpoints, all while sharing a deep understanding of Florence’s history, culture, and hidden gems. It genuinely felt like we were seeing the real Florence, not just as tourists, but through the eyes of someone who truly loves and understands the city. This tour was one of the real highlights of our trip. If you’re looking for a meaningful and fun way to experience Florence, don’t miss this!!!! Ale is a master guide, we’re so grateful to have had the chance to learn from him :)
Our Bike tour was one of the highlights of our trip! Luca, our guide, was fantastic—fun, knowledgeable, and full of great stories that made the ride even more enjoyable. Cycling through the Tuscan countryside was simply breathtaking, with Luca setting the perfect pace and sharing fascinating insights. The visit to Joe and Marta’s farm was the cherry on top—amazing wine, great hospitality, and an authentic taste of Tuscany. If you’re looking for a fun and unforgettable experience, this tour is a must. Huge thanks to Luca for making it so special!
This experience would be a 10 out of 5 stars!!! Our guide Jacopo was wonderful: patient, helpful, funny, kind, safety conscious and great history and story telling! He was a pleasure to spend the day with and took care of our every need! The bike ride was as described thru the Tuscan countryside leaving out of Florence, bikes were comfortable and functional for the terrain and options for E bikes available if desired! The ride was so beautiful and allowed several stops for rest and story telling on the way up! The farm visit with wine and olive oil tastings was absolutely amazing, the Owners Joe and Marta provided a tour of their grounds and history developing the site, a heavenly setting for organic farm fresh lunch and tastings! It was a wish come true for our 50th birthday celebration and exceeded our expectations beyond what we could have dreamed!! The passion, hospitality, kindness and genuine love of life they exude are a testament to their dedication! We highly recommend this tour as the highlight of your stay in Italy! We had the best day ever…… 🇮🇹 ❤️ 🍷 🫒 🚴
It was our highlight of our vacation the tour was really comprehensive and Toto our guide was excellent, really knowledgeable and took us to really beautiful places to get the view of Florence from outside the city. The Chianti farm we visited was gorgeous and Martha was a super lovely host, se took us to all of her property told us its secrets and shared some really nice stories about it and she fed us the most delicious meal and shared with us the best wines we have had in a long time
Absolutely a must-do. We opted for the e-bikes bc we wanted a relaxing tour, and it was awesome. We went through the Tuscan countryside, as well as a stop with an amazing view of Florence. 10/10!
The ride was fun, the views were incredible and the lunch was some of the best we’ve had in Italy. I would definitely recommend at least some bike riding experience and unless you’re an experienced and conditioned rider, get the e-bike.
Every moment of this tour exceeded was spectacular. We couldn't believe the beauty of the Tuscan Hills! Our tour guide was safe, friendly, and cared for us personally, while sharing wonderful stories of the art, history, and culture of the region. He also shared his personal stories of growing up near Florence. Visiting the winery, we were treated like royalty, with amazing food and wine brought to us by a warm host in a stunning vineyard setting.
We had the most wonderful time on our bike ride through Tuscany. Our guide Giuseppe was excellent! Wonderful views and amazing food at the end of our trip!
I bike Italy review We just came back from a full day bike tour with Jacopo, and it was a wonderful experience. My husband and I did this bike tour on a honeymoon in 2006, and this time we brought our 9 and 13 year old sons. We all loved it. The route was totally different this time, and it was even better because we wound our way through parks and all kinds of beautiful, scenic places. Jacopo was a great tour guide- supporting me when I struggled up a hill, taking the lead to make sure we weren’t lost, answering my son’s millions of questions and listening to his stories with all sorts of patience. He also was a wealth of knowledge from the history of Florence to the trees to the making of olive oil and Chianti. We learned all kinds of cool things and had a whole new perspective on the Ponte Vecchio. If you want an excellent physical adventure to get you away from the crowds in Florence, I highly recommend We Like Tuscany/ I Bike Italy. If you want an adventure and to get away from the crowds, but you can’t ride up hills, try their e-bike tour. I’m sure that’s great too. For the record, I mostly ride on flat ground at home, so I found the hills challenging, but the bikes were excellent- really lightweight and the gears were easy to switch. It made it really easy. I can’t recommend this tour enough.
Florence is magical and this was the best way to see it up close. Riding through the beautiful neighborhoods and seeing the villas with their spectacular views is brilliant. Our lunch was delicious with amazing olive oil, fresh pasta, and of course, delicious wine. The visit to the olive groves was a perfect way to finish the day. Special thanks for the opportunity to tour the residence and gardens. We highly recommend this experience, especially if you are fortunate to have Federica as your guide. Her stories and knowledge of the area made the day very special. She is exceptional.
Our guide, Fred, was so nice and helpful! We loved our tour and the lunch was excellent! We would recommend.
We enjoyed our bike tour with Giulia very much. She is knowledgeable and made the trip interesting and fun. Even though it rained during our ride, we were happy that we did it. We got to see someone harvesting olives and tasted olive oil that was pressed the day before! Lunch was delicious. The views were nice, even in the rain. I'm sure they would be spectacular on a clear day. My husband and I are both in our 60's and had no problem using a regular bike for this ride because we are accustomed to riding on hills where we live. If you don't normally need to use almost every gear on your 21-24 speed bike when you ride at home, we would suggest renting the e-bike.
Excellent bike ride with Jacopo yesterday he was very knowledgeable of the roads & all safety aspects regarding the trip. He was very personable cyclist as the group really enjoyed the scenic tour…
Our guide Leo was awesome! The lunch was fantastic! The bikes were good! Would recommend again! Beautiful countryside and winery.
My husband and I had an amazing day biking through Florence with Alessandro and Kaline! Both guides were so informative, helpful, friendly and made our day really enjoyable. We had an awesome group of people who we biked with, and we loved our lunch at the private villa with everyone - great setting, conversation, food, delicious wine and olive oil -- which provided one of the highlights of our trip. We highly recommend using this company for your bike tour while visiting - it was such a memorable experience!
Jacopo was a great tour leader! Very informative and took wonderful care of us all. Beautiful scenery and very nice lunch.
We had an amazing time biking Florence and the surrounding hill sides. Alesandro was an amazing guide and knew everything about Florence and Italy. We would definitely book with them again!
The guide was very informative and full of knowledge. We tasted great wine and olive oil. It was such a beautiful tour. Our guide even carried my wine and olive it that I purchased in his back pack. The bikes were so easy to use
Excellent tour and a great use of a beautiful day. Jacopo was an ideal guide mixing history, entertainment and relatable stories while leading us out of the city and into the countryside. The riding was not difficult and there are frequent stops which make it all the easier. The perspective gained looking down on the city is a can’t miss and the whole day was top notch. Very worthwhile and highly recommended!
What a wonderful way to enjoy Tuscany! This tour is ideal for anyone who enjoys exploring by bicycle. The pace was relaxed with many picture perfect stops along the way, followed by a delicious and filling lunch at a private villa where we and had the opportunity to meet the owner and tour his gardens. Our bike host Leo was delightful and shared his local knowledge of the area and agriculture.
Unfortunately, I was unaware that my sister could barely ride a bike. Luckily, it was just the two of us and our guide was accommodating and gracious enough in his flexibility to offer us a walking tour instead. We went to all the same spots, as we would if we were riding the bikes, but we walked instead. The lunch at the winery was delicious, as well as the wine we drank.
My wife and I are retired and have taken several bike tours in various countries; this is our second one in Florence and this latest 'Full-Day Tuscan Hills Bike Tour' has been the best one of all! The key to a good experience, tour is the leader and Alessandro was an excellent guide, very personable, patient and knowledgeable! The tour itself was memorable for the length and scenic variety, culminating in the tour of the Villa and lunch in the villa garden; no other tour has had this option. The entire organization is very well run and helpful; they make things very easy. We highly recommend this experience! Ciao and Enjoy!
Tuscany is gorgeous and there is no better way to see it than from a bike. Alessandro and Simone were great guides--knowledgeable, friendly, supportive, etc. We were disappointed that we did not get to do any wine tasting or olive oil tasting-- perhaps in the off-season they should substitute a gelato sampling. The e-bikes we were given worked great. Our best day in Italy yet!
My husband and I celebrated his 60th birthday with the Full Day Tuscan Hills Bike Tour. Vincent was an excellent guide! We ended up being the only two on the tour so essentially had a private tour guide for the day. It was amazing. The Tuscan hills were beautiful and the winery were we had lunch and wine tasting was fabulous! This was our favorite day in Florence by far!!
This week I went on my 2nd ride with We Like Tuscany/I bike Italy, the first being 5 years ago. It was just as phenomenal as I remembered!! There was no question in mind mind that when I visited Italy again, I would do another bike ride with this company. Your day (if it is the full day bike tour) involves a guided tour covering agriculture, wine and olive oil making, and some Tuscan history. All the information is presented in an engaging and user-friendly manner. If biking through the Tuscan hills intimidates you, do not let it stop you from going on these tours! The guide has a van at the ready for anyone who needs a rest, and there are plenty of stops to check out olive trees, try grapes from the vine etc. The day also includes a delicious lunch at the winery you will tour. It added a lot of fun to sit and share a meal with the other folks I biked with. Our guide Bill was simply the best! He took me on the tour 5 years ago and I would have been truly sad had he been unavailable this time. Bill is knowledgeable, personable, and truly cares about everyone having a great experience. His love for Tuscany is evident, and he is so much fun to be around! These rides are without a doubt in the top 5 best experiences in my life. Do yourself a favor and do not miss out!
A well organised tour with high quality mountain bikes with an e-bike option. Fabulous guide Ferdie took us on e-bikes (a wise investment) up to the small hilltown of Fiesole, about 20kms from Florence. We stopped at a vineyard for wine and olive oil tasting and then lunch in a lovely osteria with great food, wine and coffee. This was probably the ride of a lifetime and something I had always wanted to do. Ferdie was a great guide who took every opportunity to make the occasion memorable (eg. stopping to pick fresh figs to eat with the view) and provided a huge amount of historical and cultural information. Perfect day out, I couldn’t recommend better. Of course, you could skip the e-bike if you want a really hard day of riding instead, as the hill gradients vary up to 12%, so an excellent workout if you choose.
This was one of our favorite days of our trip to Italy - and we did a LOT! We were transported by Van to our starting destination and then grabbed bikes for our journey. Within the first 5 minutes we ran in to a wine festival in the most adorable little town, with floats coming down the main street and people gathering for the festivities! We continued on through the countryside with spectacular views of olive groves and vineyards, stopping for occasional photos. The ride was a workout and lots of rolling hills with a couple of very short, steep ones where I had to get off and walk, which was fine. My husband and I are 50 and in pretty good shape and the effort required was perfect! We then stopped at a winery and got a tour of the actual cellars and learned quite a bit about the grapes and wine process. Hannah our guide was very knowledgeable and was fantastic. We then took the van back to our starting point for an amazing group lunch and then back to town. We would absolutely recommend this to anyone who loves the country, fresh air and a little exercise while learning about Italy!
This was, hands down, the best tour we've taken all week. Lorenzo was a fabulous guide for the day - very personable, knowledgeable, kind, and all around, just a great, friendly guy. The route we took was beautiful and the level of difficulty well-suited to our group. The alternative of using an electric bike helps those of us who are in quite as good shape as we'd like. The visit to the vineyard was excellent and thoroughly narrated by Lorenzo. The only suggestion we'd make would be for the vineyard visit to be a little shorter to allow for more time for riding. Nevertheless, all in all, it was a beautiful day. Very easy to have fun and relax, if you're willing to do so!! Thank you so much "We Like Tuscany" for knowing how to give us such a good time -- your deep experience in organizing bike tours is very evident. We love Tuscany even more now, too!
We had a wonderful time during the bike tour. The description said about 15kms of leisurely biking and we were indeed moving at a nice comfortable leisurely pace. Our guide, Andreas, was very friendly and helpful, and shared interesting stories about Tuscany and Italy. All of us being vegetarians, we had veg food for lunch (wine and cheese tasting followed by a main course of pasta), and it was good.
after 3 days of long tours we arrived at the bike rental location and found that for 30 euros more, we could rent E-bikes which really made the day! we still had to peddle , but the hills were almost non existent! The tour was one of the best I've been on, expecially the winery tour - they were bottling the wine that day and Davide our guide was extremely knowledgable and a very nice guy. definitely do this, and if you are not feeling energetic get the e bikes (they only have 2) - well worth it!
We had an amazing 7 hour day. The weather was perfect as was the ride. We stopped for pictures and lunch. Our guide, Bill, was wonderful! He was knowledgeable and personable and easy to spend the afternoon with. I would highly recommend this company and we will absolutely do it again on our next visit.

We loved our bike tour! Bill, our tour guide, was great! The biking was a little challenging but, very enjoyable. We got to pick olives. And we had a great tour of the winery. We also had a wine tasting and a delicious lunch! It was a day to remember!

This was the highlight of my holiday! Booked this as a surprise for my parents, they truly enjoyed the tour and we had so much fun. Our guides Lorenzo and Carlo were awesome, the bike tour was fun and interesting and the lunch we had at the Villa in the Chianti countryside was excellent! We also bought some extra virgin olive oil and wine made by the owners of the Estate. I highly recommend this tour!

A true high point on our trip. A bucket list experience.

This was the highlight of our tours. We had a very knowledgeable guide Bill. The bikes were of good quality. We rode around in the countryside felt very comfortable. We stopped in a Villa which was built in the year 1000. We had a fabulist lunch. I would recommend this tour to all

We spent a fantastic day accompanied by Bill who took us to the hills around Florence among vineyards and olive trees. With the help of the assisted mode (electric bikes) we spent 35km without problems, even doing small country dirt trails. In 20 minutes from the historic center we were already admiring the panoramic view of the city and then continue our tour in the middle of nature. Bill has incredible knowledge about flora and fauna. Lunch stop with delicious schiacciata. I recommend everyone to live this experience!!!
For the first time I rode an e-bike: hilarious! After the fatigue of the climb, the Chianti hills become curvy friends dressed in broom, wisteria, jasmine and cypress, among which to fly. Bill is a gentle, quiet, witty and experienced guide to the terrain. He also speaks impeccable Italian. He skilfully reassured an inexperienced bicycle customer. He showed us animals, semi-hidden ruins and an extremely lush Tuscan countryside. In the middle of a vineyard we had a delicious lunch of schiacciata. The route was without dead spots, each path opened in a breathtaking panorama. Back home I was pleasantly tired (you still have to pedal the e-bike) and fully satisfied.

Danke :
