You should go. Even with the summer crowds, the tour seemed relaxed and unrated. The climb up the tower is a must do for the views and history. The driver was awesome and well informed.

Diego was a delight from start to finish. The car was beautiful, and we always knew we were in professional hands. When we decided to leave early, he arrived in eight minutes and drove us home. He also recommended a wonderful place for lunch in Lucca.
The person who was on the bus with us, a lady called Marina, was really disappointing. She seemed to be bored to death and really eager to see the end of the tour. On the bus, she made only the minimum effort to fulfill her duty. As we were driving along mountains and beautiful landscape, she didn’t care to make any comments on what we were seeing or explain anything. The least lively person I’ve ever seen in this kind of activity. She answered the questions in a very brief way, and immediately turned her back on us to do something else, as if we were annoying her. Anyway, the tour itself was a waste of money. We chose the low cost tour, but we could not expect everything would be so frustrating. We should have taken the train instead, at least we would have saved the money. We couldn’t even taken part in the buccellato tasting, because we had chosen the low cost tour. In other words, we just paid for the transportation and didn’t have the right to anything. Worst experience ever and a huge waste of money.
Driver was a very good and safe driver. Also he was very nice. He gave some good travel advice to my granddaughter too.
We loved Lucca and learning about the history of the region from our tour guide, Claudio. I highly recommend this event.
The title of this is misleading. It reads like this is a private tour of Pisa and Lucca, as in we will be given a TOUR of Pisa and Lucca. In reality this is a private driver and you are then on your own in Pisa and Lucca. Our driver was wonderful, but I would NEVER have paid this price for just a driver. It was incredibly disappointing to get to Pisa only to find out we were on our own. We ended up having a great time, but I won't be booking a tour like this with Viator again. If you want to be on your own, save your money and book a group tour and then just do your own thing.

Our guide, Christian, was helpful, knowledgeable and flexible. He asked what was important for us to see and then set a great agenda with just enough time in Pisa and more time in Lucca which was fantastic! See the tower, but spend more time and eat in Lucca!
Cristian was our guide and driver. He was very informative, providing us wonderful suggestions on sights and food. He ensured we had a great time. While we walked around Lucca, he arranged a wonderful lunch on the coast. This tour was fantastic and made better with Cristian's help.
This was the best part of our entire trip to Italy. The time in Pisa was just right to see what we wanted to see and then depart. Lucca was the star. I would definitely go back there and stay longer. We had a wonderful time there. Our driver, Alejandro, was excellent. Our kids loved the experience.
Elvis was wonderful, witty and skilled as our driver for Lucca and Pisa. He always made sure we knew where to go and where to meet up after each tour. He even helped us find our tour guide from another company ( we didn't realize). I would definitely try to book with him again if ever I get back to Florence. I'm not 90 so who knows? On Monday September 23rd, we were fortunate enough to have Elvis as our driver to Lucca and Pisa. My husband’s grandfather was born in small village outside of Lucca and was curious if we could find anything about him there. Elvis took us to the Municipal at BOTH Chiesini and and older part of Chiesini. We couldn’t have asked for better driver / partner to investigate this. With his help and guidance we not only found his grandfather but Elvis was able to communicate with the municipal people to find his birth records and hus address. Your company is very lucky to have such a brilliant, young, vibrant gentlemen with such great customer service skills. To rate him only a 10 would be doing him a disservice. He was professional, kind, knowledgeable and compassionate for our needs. My husband was thrilled to tears! What a perfect day he gave us on our first trip to Italy!!! I would recommend that everyone ask for Elvis for an awesome experience wherever you want to go. A trip to remember. Thank you Elvis. !! ❤️
We booked a tour with Ciao Florence and our tour director was a fantastic young man named Giulio. He conducted a fluent and interesting tour of Pisa and Lucca without any issues. He was clear with instructions and was very ably assisted by the informative and charming local guides, Chiara at Pisa and similarly by Belinda at Lucca. A great day spent at the iconic Pisa and well preserved and historic Lucca. Massimo was our very capable coach driver.
Our driver was on time and picked us up from our rental which was great. However, to call this a tour is misleading. There was no conversation on the drive to Pisa, no descriptions about what we could expect, and no discussion on how long we might want to stay. He opened the car door, told us when he'd be back, and then left. Same for Lucca. It would have been nice to have learned a bit about our destinations during the drives and been able to customize the amount of time spent at each location. We had too long in Pisa, and would have loved that extra time in Lucca. Again, we paid for a private driver and car, not a tour.
We enjoyed this day trip to Pisa where we walked the square and enjoyed a nice lunch. This was followed with an afternoon walk in the town of Lucca that was very historic with it's cathedrals. Our guide was very knowledgeable in providing a historic background at all the locations.
<p>Booked the private tour for our family of 5, Valentina from the agency helped us customize our tour by adding tickets to climb the tower in Pisa and stop at a winery for lunch. We decide to tour both Pisa and Lucca on our own, without a guide, but our driver Christian was so knowledgeable about the area and history, it felt as though we had a private guide with us the whole trip. He was great!! The winery was also a great reccomendation. All of the wines were wonderful and lunch in the wine cellar was a great experience. They also showed us how they make Vinsanto, which was a first for us. Thank you Christian and Ciaflorence for an unforgettable day!!</p>
We actually liked Pisa and Lucca. The trip organized by Cciao Florence has been very relaxed and well organized by the guide who spoke Italian French and Spanish. Very professional Rafaello driver and guide, I apologize but I don't remember his name. The visit was Thursday 20/04/2023. We have travelled from Barcelona and the trip and excursions have been hired by the English court of Barcelona Diagonal , for them also congratulations for their professionalism.
The guide Gabriel is a grace, very attentive and friendly! Great experience! Although we took rain, it was very attentive, we had all the explanations about Pisa and Lucca and free time to enjoy the locations!
