Our visit of the Tuscan countryside with a vineyard lunch and wine tasting was everything one could hope for. The small Tuscan towns we visited have to be seen in person. They are truly unique and unbelievable! Our tour guide, Barbara, was outstanding! She was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. We will definitely book another tour with The Tour Guy.

Our guide, Barbara, was an absolute delight! Friendly, funny, and knowledgeable! Siena and San Gimignano were absolutely lovely but my favorite was our visit to the Chianti winery. Mia was our guide and she was amazing, as were the various wines we tasted and the lunch we were serviced. I recommend this day trip 100%. 🥰
A fantastic way to see Tuscany! A good amount of time at each stop lets you see everything. Barbera was a fantastic guide, extremely knowledgeable and very personable!
Barbara was an amazing host! She gave us a lot of history and pointed out scenic areas. Highly recommend!
This was a great tour. The wineries were beautiful, the wine was good and plentiful, and there was plenty of great food.
Our tour guide Shirin was such a pleasure to chat with. She gave lots of great information and history about our tour stops. We visited the Agricola Poggio ai Laghi winery and enjoyed a lovely lunch with Chianti, olive oils and best of all the amazing balsamic vinegar. Touring Siena and Sam Gimignano was beautiful. Very well organized and worthwhile day trip for any first timers to the region.
Barbara was amazing! She was so nice and very knowledgeable. Would not have been the same experience without her! The vineyard was the highlight, where the staff was very friendly and engaging. San Gimignano was beautiful but very short/could not do much. However, it was very good value for the money!
My husband and I absolutely loved this tour! It was such a wonderful way to experience the beauty and charm of Tuscany, and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Our tour guide, Barbara, was fantastic! She was incredibly friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and patient. She made everyone feel welcome and comfortable, and her warm personality made the entire experience even more enjoyable. The beautiful Tuscan countryside, wine country experience, and vineyard lunch made for a truly memorable day. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We highly recommend this tour, and if you’re fortunate enough to have Barbara as your guide, you are in for a treat!
Amazing trip, even better wine and food! Barbara was the best and kindest house we’ve had.
Great experience. Barbara was an amazing guide.
Fabi did a great job as a guide. We were actually on our own for both of the cities but she made sure that we knew some things to look at. The winery was just a tasting (not a tour) and a lunch (which was delicious).
A brilliant trip, exceeded expectations. We were a party of 8 adults and everyone enjoyed the trip. Good value too. Our guide Lila and driver Fabio were great !
I loved the tour! The food was amazing and Scirin was very helpful with anything we needed.
Barbra was a great host, the bus was clean and safe and the wine delicious!
It was an excellent tour, well timed and very well lead by Fiana (Flame) and driven by Massimo
Great wineries visited on the half day tour. Both guides at each tasting were very knowledgeable and the food to pair was great.
Fabi was an amazing guide for the day. Provided us with great history and information. We loved the winery
Shirene was amazing! She was so nice and so knowledgeable. We could ask for a better tour guide! Love her!
Shirine was wonderful! Would highly recommend.
Vittoria our guide was wonderful. She was friendly, informative and a real pleasure to be with. The tours were exceptional value for money and the food with wine exceeded our expectations.
Victoria was a great guide! Very fun and very informative! We enjoyed the different wines, the Tuscan countryside and getting to know everyone else on the tour with us.
A really nice 1 day trip to winery with tasting / lunch and Siena & San Gimigiano. The tour guide was effective at getting us to our places, but once there, we were on our own.
The Tuscan countryside lives up to its reputation for deep cultural history, rich agricultural traditions, and gorgeous scenery. Our guide Barbara was knowledgeable and friendly. Be aware, however, the winery lunch is less of an educational stop at an agriturismo and more of a chance for the winery to sell to a captive audience. We would have much preferred more time in Siena and San Gimignano and less time in the midst of an extended sales pitch. (Note: when we booked this experience, it was under the title “Tuscany Day Trip with Siena, San Gimignano, and Winery Lunch.”)
Lorenzo was an excellent guide who was very knowledgeable and entertaining making the tour fun. Tour was friendly for adults of all ages, the food and wine was fantastic! Admission fee was reasonable, tour lasted approximately 9 hours with travel time. Group was large, but managed well by Lorenzo and his driver.
Lorenzo was a terrific guide and you could tell he enjoys doing what he does! He has the best personality and we really enjoyed the tour! They were amazing at the winery also! I would highly recommend this tour.
An absolute must do trip when visiting Florence. Our guide Barbara was very knowledgeable and made the trip very enjoyable - giving us suggestions of dishes, wines, and activities to do in each stop, which really helped us maximise our time throughout the day. We have been on similar trips in other countries and this was by far the most value for money. The winery tour with lunch was a particular highlight. The winery itself was beautiful and we got to taste 6 wines with additional tastings of balsamic and olive oil. The coach itself was comfortable and pick up locations were easily found at each stop. Thank you for a wonderful Tuscan experience that our family really enjoyed.
We had a wonderful time! Barbra was a great guide!
Lorenzo was absolutely amazing & had a wealth of knowledge to share the entire day. He was funny and gave us fantastic recommendations for our stay in Florence. Book book book!!!
Amazing day! Perfect length for a person who doesn’t like day trips! Surprised by the amount of wine and food we had, all lovely! Thank you
Barbara was the best guide!!! Very personable, organized, and timely
A great tour, 2 cities and 1 winery / wine tasting
We had a wonderful time! Our guide Shirin took wonderful care of us and made sure we were on time and answered all questions. She was friendly and efficient.
Not too long not to short, bus was nice
They love it and we will book again. The vineyard was fabulous and so are the wine, EVOO and balsamic vinegar. The van was comfortable and clean. Wish the stoppage Siena and San Gimignano were longer.
It was an unguided tour at destinations. But guide provided details of what to see as highlights. So it was relaxing and at our own pace.
Amazing time trying wines and learning the history of Tuscany! The free time in Sienna and San Gimignano was amazing! Had some of the best panoramic pictures taken of Tuscany and found the coolest local artisans/ice cream place. Frederica was an amazing guide and gave fantastic recommendations to do with our free time!
Our guide was late so didn’t get the specified time at each location . We hardly got to see the scenic towns. The winery was nothing special and more of a hard sales pitch. We were rushed the entire time. The bus wasn’t properly air conditioned or it wasn’t functioning - it was HOT. If you are looking for a great winery experience try the wine safari tour instead it was 10000x better !
Julia was a fabulous guide. Friendly, fun and knowledgable. A little belt afternoon.
Very nice trip if you do not want to spend ten hours. The trip was amazing. The coordinate and driver was amazing. The wineries were fantastic. So worth the time and money.
We had an amazing time on this tour - it was easily one of the best parts of our trip. Our guide, Federica, was awesome. She was helpful, informative and funny, keeping us aware of what to expect throughout the experience, teaching us about each destination, and providing great recommendations for what to do when we had free time to explore. The winery was our favorite part, with some of the best food and wine of our trip. And we were able to order our favorite wines and ship them home for a discounted price and free shipping (although this only applied to the US and countries in the EU). The stops in Siena and San Gimignano were a bit too short to do more than a couple things but we still enjoyed exploring. I would definitely recommend this experience if you’re looking to see the Tuscan countryside without having to deal with any of the planning or logistics on your own.
A great experience with Vicky the guide, felt very safe travelling on the bus. Met some lovely people on the small group tour. The hosts were very helpful with my Gluten intolerance when it came to meals, just let the guide know of any allergies or intolerance and the will cater for this.
Loved this trip, we had the right amount of free time and the wine was good 😊 guide was excellent and gave great commentary as well as useful hints and tips. Would highly recommend
Vitoria was a wonderful guide, we enjoyed the group tour and the wines, but the beautiful surprise was the vinegars. Definitely worth every penny
Excellent guide and overall experience! No pressure to purchase.
Beautiful day spent in the countryside side, lovely host Fredricka, who was very knowledgeable and friendly. The time spent in Siena was wonders and San Gimignano is just breathtaking. Highlight of the tour of course was the wine tasting at the winery. We tasted many wines, olive oil, walked the vineyards and had a perfect r lunch. Wonderful day
Scirini was our guide and she was very nice and lovely. The vineyards was great, the first one had the best wines but the second one had the best view. Both had lovely staff.
Our tour guide Valicina was amazing and always helpful we did a lot in a little bit of time but also did and saw a lot
The tour was very well organized Loved the winery lunch and tastings Would have liked more time in Siena and San Gimignano but understand there’s only so much time in the day. Christiana was very informative and friendly.
San Gimignano was beautiful and our favorite. Siena was also lovely, and the cathedral was gorgeous. Our guide was sweet and helpful. We wish we would have gotten more time in each city and could have done without the “winery.”
Great time with Cristiana and Alessandro.
