Dorthe is AMAZING!! We had trouble finding a bus that would make the morning class over the weekend and Dorthe was so accommodating and let us move to a day during the week. The buses were also a bit confusing (it was our first time taking them in Florence), and we got lost a couple times, but she was so patient. The process of making our rings was incredible. She explained each step and always checked in to make sure we were happy with how our jewelry turned out. In our breaks, it was lovely just getting to chat and spend time together. At the end of the class, Dorthe felt like family and it was sad saying goodbye. I couldn’t recommend this class more!

Dörthe was extremely knowledgeable and a wonderful teacher! My husband and I made wedding rings. She walked us through the whole process: showcasing styles, helping us curate our preferred ring in the Florentine style, and walking us through every step. There was even a some water and snacks. Not to mention the whole atmosphere is STUNNING, perched on top of a villa in a workshop that windows showcase the beauty of the countryside. We had the great pleasure of creating our own wedding rings with Dörthe – and it truly was an unforgettable experience! Her studio is set in a beautiful location, and from the very beginning the atmosphere was relaxed, warm, and completely stress-free. Even though we had no prior experience, Dörthe guided us patiently and professionally through every single step: from melting the gold to shaping, filing, and finally polishing our rings. After about 4 hours, we were holding two stunning rings in our hands. Dörthe is not only a talented goldsmith but also a wonderful host – friendly, knowledgeable, and with a lot of heart. She even offered us a delicious snack, which perfectly matched the relaxed atmosphere. A truly unique experience that we wholeheartedly recommend to any couple!

My daughter and I recently attended a jewelry-welding class with Dorthe and it was the highlight of our trip! We toured all over Italy and had some amazing tours/experiences, but this is a must. Wonderful experience, we were welcomed (together with our dogs) in a beautiful typical Tuscan farmhouse in the middle of the Florentine hills with a spectacular view and Dörthe the goldsmith teacher guided us in the creation of two unique rings, she was very kind and we would recommend this out of the ordinary expierence to everyone❤️

A really nice experience, made of a path that gradually leads to discover the art of jewelry craftsmanship, you can see very intelligent ancient tools that used make you understand how much there is human ingenuity. Then the wonder of "creating" something even by incompetent totals.... is a really nice journey especially if shared. We thus found the Dörthe course and immediately understood that it would be the right thing for us, and our expectations were even greatly exceeded. First of all Dörthe is a very nice woman and an excellent teacher. She took a lot of time for us, listened carefully to our ideas, gave us advice and was very patient, especially with me. It is immediately clear that Dörthe has a real passion for her work and is happy if she can make an engaged couple even happier. You can also bring old jewelry of sentimental value and make your own wedding rings with them. After the course, Dörthe offered us a perfect sparkling wine to toast our new faiths. We feel we have created something very special and unique and we are incredibly happy about it. We had a wonderful afternoon that will remain in our hearts for a lifetime at Dörthe and we recommend this unique experience to all engaged couples!

My fiancé and I made the alliances ourselves. We took a look on Instagram (@schmuck.studio.shop) beforehand and were delighted with the jewelry pieces. It was wonderful with Dörthe 😍 They welcomed us very well and Dörthe helped us a lot to create the rings of our dreams. I brought a gold bracelet from my grandmother that we used as the base material, but she also provides gold and silver. Afterwards we toasted our rings with an aperitif and enjoyed the beautiful views. We recommend it to everyone!!!
