Florence: Siena & San Gimignano With Dinner In A Boutique Winery

Great day, wonderful tour and Daria was a great driver and guide. Our favorite part of the trip was the dinner at the winery. Interactive and authentically Tuscan. Worth the 8 hour duration.

Francesco was a terrific driver. Very pleasant, safe, and knowledgeable. Our Siena guide (Nicola?) was awesome!!! Packed a ton of history into our hour. Great job!

What a lovely day tour! This is a great way to see more of Tuscany and maximize your time in the region. Excellent walking tour of the lovely Siena, tons of history (and world famous gelato) at San Gimignano, topped off with a tour, wine tasting, and dinner at a beautiful villa with excellent staff! Francesca the guide was funny, personable, and knowledgeable. The driver was great. Amazing experience overall. 10/10 recommend

Excellent by our for the money particularly when you factor in the wine tasting and dinner at the Fottoria Wine Estate which was the highlight of the tour. Guide were professional and vans very comfortable.

To be clear, this review is about the total experience and not on our Guide. She was top notch professional. We met up with the guide and met other couples. We needed to wait on another single traveler who was late. More on that to come. We departed for the first stop of the day. During the drive the single traveler was acting odd and asking many questions. There was something very odd there. We stopped for a one hour tour. The single decided not to join the tour saying she was there for a specific purpose to buy jewelry. The driver said meet back at 4:15. Well, guess what? She was a no show. 5 min turned into 15 and so on. If this was a cruise ship, the ship would’ve departed. Unfortunately headquarters, who is controlling the tour suggested we wait for her, which led to us driving around town to find her. On all that blue almost an hour out of our trip. Right there sums up the problem I had with the tour. They should have left her and found a way to get her back. It ruined the entire day. Outside of that, it was a very long nine hour trip with way too much driving. By the time we got to the winery, it was very late and we were all tired and hungry. Very skimpy on the port and even more skimpy on the actual wine, which we were there for the first place.. I would highly not recommend this particular tour. Perhaps that your experiences have been better.

Carlotta was a very good escort, sharing information while we drove from Florence and to other destinations. Very accommodating and thoughtful in drop off location upon our return. Highly recommend.

Wonderful the winery dinner was amazing

Francesca and our driver on Oct 14th were excellent. They were timely and considerate of the group who needed to stop for the restroom.

This was well worth the trip! Sienna and San Gimignano are beautiful. We enjoyed dinner at the winery in Chianti. Our driver Concetta was delightful and very knowledgeable. Our guide in Sienna, I’m sorry I can’t remember her name, knowledgeable and loved her delivery. We could tell she’s an expert!

Federico was fabulous. We split our group to 8 in a smaller van and it was perfect! Got to know our smaller group and have great discussions and sharing. Dinner was fabulous! Adele, local guide for Sienna, was awesome! Both were so knowledgeable. The people at winery, for and wine was excellent. I highly recommend.

This trip was one of the highlights on our visit to Italy. Pisa, Siena, and San Gimignano were all so beautiful and unique. The lunch at the winery was perfect. Wonderful meal, wine and hospitality.

Wine tasting at the winery and dinner was delicious and entertaining. Tania was kind enough to call us a taxi after we returned to our meeting place. The driver and guides were excellent! The dinner was underwhelming, the wine was good but I don’t think we really had a full glass of wine. We would have liked a little more time in Florence. A bit overpriced for the experience

What a great tour! We were lucky enough to have Carlotta as our driver. She was knowledgeable, kept the ride between stops interesting by telling us about Florence and overall she was very pleasant and charming. I enjoyed visiting Siena and the lovely family owned winery vineyard. Book this tour!

I discovered that it can be a challenge to find tours that accept solo travelers. This one accepted solo travelers and I was one of two. The pick up location was easy to find. Our guide, Francesca, was fantastic. She was very funny and made the long drives between Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and back to Florence entertaining. The tour of Siena was interesting but I wish there was time to explore a bit. In San Gimignano we had about 45 minutes to explore, definitely not enough, but with the time it takes to go between the cities, it makes sense. I feel like I got a good initial taste of both cities so I feel like I got the experience I wanted for the price I paid. The winery we went to was nice and the food was so tasty. Everything was served Italian style so we go to know each other. I think it was about 24 people on the tour, I didn’t feel like I was one of many, it was small enough to feel personal.

Our guide, Fiama did an awesome job. She was very funny on the road between destinations. The local guide in Siena, Sara, was very informative. The recommendations for wine and gelato in San Gimignano were excellent. The wine and food at the vineyard were outstanding. One recommendation would be to start this tour a couple hours earlier bc by the time we got to the vineyard it was dark out.

We had a fantastic day visiting Siena, San Gimignano, and ended our day at a beautiful family winery! Daria was a fantastic guide, giving us bits of history, all along the way. I would definitely recommend her services to anyone interested in this tour.

From the guides, to the places we visited, it was an amazing experience. We were able to see the beauty that Siena and San Gimignano had to offer and only wish we got to stay there longer. The dinner at the winery was excellent! The best pasta I have had so far on the trip with very friendly people taking us around the winery. Our guide HR was great! He was knowledgeable and told us some funny stories at dinner that made the experience only that much better. All in all, the experience was something I would do again in a heartbeat and would recommend to anyone.

This was fantastic! We would have however liked a little more free time in Siena and San Gimignano. 1/2 hour additional in each would have been much better. The winery tour, tasting, and dinner was spectacular! Federico, our guide/driver was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and made us all very comfortable!

Really impressed about this tour, try to ask for Peter as your tour guide , please wear comfortable sneakers or shoes quite a bit of walking in the 2 cities you visit but really great tour

Unique experience to tour local winery and to see what Tuscany has to offer

Trip was a full day but well worth it. We got to visit several quintessential Tuscan towns and landmarks before ending our trip with a spectacular wine tasting and dinner at Villa di Bagnolo winery. Our guides were great too.

It was a full day! Gabriel was a wonderful host. He is very service oriented and kind. It was quite hot today and required a lot of walking before you get to the vineyard. Siena was nice but very hilly - also would recommend bringing a water bottle. San Gimignano was beautiful and quaint. It felt a little rushed - I would have loved to have had more time there. The winery tour and dinner was wonderful and topped off a very busy day with a lovely meal and delicious wine!

Was a fun tour of two Tuscan towns and ended with a wonderful wine paired dinner!
