Didn’t seem too organized and the sound system was sub par. Difficult to hear anything she said. Also got pushed back so we had less time gerring to our next tour. Also communication on meeting point not clear enough.

Such a fun tour. Our guide was very nice and knowledgeable. The length was just right and seeing David was incredible.
Very informative. Tour guide was very knowledgeable. I forget her name, but I remember her saying she was from Belarus.
What a delightful tour! Alex was such a wonderful guide and historian. She was so informative and engaging as she told the history of Michealengalo, The David, and of the other artisans of The Renaissance. Molte grazie!
Terrible experience! Tour left office 20 minutes late. We had a 9:45am tour. Once we got to the Accademia, we had to wait before getting tickets. Then, we missed our 9:45 am window. We finally got in the 10:15am line. Mind you, they tell you to show up 20 minutes before. Once we got in line, we couldn’t go into the museum because we had too many people for the tour. My ticket was at 9:45am and I had been waiting since 9:25 / 9:30am. We had a hard stop in an hour. The tour was only supposed to last an hour. We ended up leaving because they were still waiting to get in. Once we got in, I was told we were going to get a new tour guide. We waited and waited. Finally, we had in our headsets and we left. In totally, we waited about an hour for nothing. We didn’t have the 1-hour tour because there was a challenge with the number of people. There was a challenge with the original tour guide. I don’t know what was going on with this company. Save your money and time. Skip this tour!
This was quick way to access the gallery. We had a great experience with Italy Pass. Very well organised, everyone was very helpful and I would highly recommend it to others.
It was excellent. Tour guide very knowledgeable & friendly. Worth paying for the skip the line entrance as the crowds were huge
We were pleased to be given the tour by our guide Martina, who was knowledgeable and showed a keen interest in her subject; in addition we were fortunate that the Museum of Musical Instruments within the Accademia was open when we visited, without additional charge, and Martina was also able to speak to us about the artefacts we saw there. Thoroughly recommend.
My family and I had a great tour. It was easy to find our tour guide and we barely waited in line. Our group was about 15-20 people that included kids but we all felt included. There was plenty of time to take pictures in front of the statue of David.
Olga was a wonderful guide, gave us clear instructions and information around the tour. The pace was perfect and our questions were answered. We only had to wait about 5 minutes to get in. The regular queue was huge! My only beef with these kind of tours is the use of disposable headsets. Haven't been on a tour since before the Covid pandemic and I was surprised to see that sustainable audio solutions haven't yet caught on. It's a wasteful use of electronics I wouldn't give Italy Pass less than 5 stars though as that would be unfair as all the tours seem to operate in this way. Could the rubber ear cup be changed for each tour instead of the whole ear piece? Also many tourists just discard the empty packets on the street.
Horrible experience. When I got to the meeting point, I was told that the Spanish-guided tour had been canceled without any explanation or prior information. I was told by the person in charge at the place that I was going to get refunded for the guided you. Still, almost a week afterward, I have not received any email or communication from the agency regarding the refund. They gave me the tickets and told me to go into the museum or I could wait for the English tour guide, but the other group members did not speak English. I took the tickets, walked in and took pictures, and left. Poor experience. DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO BUY FROM THIS AGENCY.
Very good tour with great explanation from the guide. Was very glad we’d booked and didn’t have to wait in the sun for hours, only a 10 minute wait. Well worth the money, loved it!
Excellent! The tour was great and our guide was amazing. The guide was knowledgeable about the art and was very friendly.
While we appreciated skipping the line, ultimately we were very disappointed in the tour. The guide spent the first 20 minutes explaining/trying to convince us of the value of the tour in a plain room inside the galleria (this could been done outside while we were waiting) and then read from the signs, which we could have done ourselves. Ultimately we left and explored on our own spending time where we wanted instead of listening to someone convince us of the value of the tour without any art knowledge.
Fantastic tour. Our tour guide was just fantastic. She taught us about art and art history in a relatable way. Of course Michelangelo’s David was the highlight but she had fantastic insight to share. Perfect length of time too!
Olga guided us for 1 hour The Academy houses David and is breathtaking. I recommend her services She fixed an audio problem quickly so everyone heard the sound
We were kept waiting and even though we all had audio our guide did little to keep us updated on delays
I want to be generous because it was a rainy morning so everything was a little chaotic, but there were some hiccups. The headsets really didn't work and the guide was not adept at keeping our semi-large group together and engaged. It felt like she didn't have a real flow to the tour. At a certain point I turned my headset in and just walked around by myself. That being said, having seen how busy it was in all of the lines having a guaranteed entrance with a group made this worthwhile.
Very enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. Interesting information re the creation of David and the unfinished sculptures.
Our guide Andrea was marvelous! She brought not only a wealth of information, but a sense of reverence for the works we viewed, yet with a spirit of discovery and humor. The speed of delivery was perfect, her English was excellent, and the only criticism we had (and this had nothing to do with her) was that the ear buds were singularly uncomfortable. If you have your own we suggest you bring them. Length of time was adequate, and depth of coverage perfect for intellectually curious neophytes in the world of art.
The tour guide, Olga, was very informative. It was easy to follow using the supplied earpieces. It’s always more beneficial to see with a guide - worth the spend. Thanks.
We had a wonderful time. Going to see David and the story was amazing. I would recommend it to everyone.
Let’s be honest! 99% of people don’t want a tour to see something, they want to skip the ridiculous lines. Amodeous was our “guide” and he was the best! The guide must be required and he knew what he was talking about so it was as entertaining as educational. While waiting in line for about 15 minutes he pointed out the elaborate network of cheats, thieves, and pickpockets. The guys selling their crappy posters on the street are part of the racket. These guys get you to show your money, then their two crook pals come in for the pick pocket. If they need backup they get the old lady moaning and groaning that is begging to distract you and the guys cautiously open you pockets or backpacks and steal your stuff. If it starts or is raining, open up the hatch in the ground as shown in the photo. In the hatches in the ground there are rain umbrellas and ponchos. The crooks stow them there. Now, tour wise, our funny but knowledgeable guide got us in through the slip the line pass and we proceeded inside. He spoke for about 20 minutes and then let us explore on our own. Unless you’re in great need for a dissertation I’d suggest this tour as most of us want to see the David, not have an art history class.
Tour was good enough but I could have used without. The guide came off almost rude at times to some of the guests, the tour was very much his tour and he wasn’t very open to questions or comments. I booked the tour because I could not book tickets to the museum independently as they were sold out. Would recommend the tour if you’re looking to get in and tickets directly with the museum are sold out.
Manuela was our tour guide and made our visit to Accademia Gallery one of the best experiences I had in Italy. We were extremely impressed with Manuela’s passion and knowledge of Michelangelo!
Ancient instruments and David Guide was knowledgeable and passionate We appreciated small group- 6- and we entered quickly
It was a great way to save hours upon hours to see the statue of David. The guide was knowledgeable, but the microphone, radio, and headset made hearing and understanding him impossible. By doing the tour this way we probably saved 4-5 hours.
Our guide Amadeus was excellent at bringing the art to life by explaining the history and artistic significance of each piece. I was glad that the focus was not solely on David, but rather on many other significant pieces that we saw.
While the guide was very good, there is nothing much to see in the museum other than David. So, a guided tour at this price was not worth it. Nothing against the agency or the guide , it is just about return for the price. We had to buy it on the spot because we missed out on buying a ticket in advance and it was quite hot when we reached there. But, queue isn't that long, so if you have time at hand I recommend that you buy just the regular admission ticket for 12 euro.
Really enjoyed our tour of David. Our guide, Francesca, was really informative, enthusiastic and engaging. She was an excellent story teller. Would recommend this tour, it was much better than if you just went to see the statue by yourself.
Our guide was very engaging and told interesting background about what we were seeing in the museum. David was so impressive!
Manuela was amazing!! Learned so many interesting things about Michelangelo and David. The things we learned will last a lifetime and Manuela did an amazing job!!
Skipping the line was key. And we learned so much about Michelangelo and his life, not just about how he created David. The tour guide, Francesca, was outstanding. She moved us through the museum at just the right pace.
Francesca C was a fantastic guide for our tour of the Accademia - she was knowledgeable and engaging - she clarly knew a huge amount but managed to convey it in a way that was relaxed and easy. Would highly recommend her and the tour.
Amazing experience - Francesca was wonderful!!!!! Such great background & history to the tour. She even stayed after to answer some of our questions!
Francesca C was FANTASTIC. We loved our tour of the Gallery and would highly recommend this. It was full of super helpful insight and history. We loved it.
Very educative tour with highly skilled guide (Irina), who gave a complete and detailled explanation.
Our tour guide Alex was just fantastic! Very prepared, nice and passionate — thanks to her we had an unforgettable experience. We recommend your tour 100%! Book it with Italy Pass, you won’t regret it! 🇮🇹✨
Ver el David de Miguel Angel en la Galería y poder cumplir todas las expectativas. en tres días pudimos hacer 7 visitas diferentes. el problema de Florencia es que a las 18 h. ya no dejan entrar
Very nice and interesting visit. Special thanks to the guide Manuela Corsi for the preparation and passion with which she accompanied us.
A fantastic guide, I can't say otherwise! Alda tells her story with cattle passion and that came in. It is our last day here, otherwise I would love to explore the art of Florence with her.
Very nice and interesting experience, the guide Francesca Ciappi was able to involve us and interest us without ever being "heavy". Very good and prepared
Manuela Corsi our guide is very prepared and enthusiastic we liked it very much despite my friend not understanding Italian to her well we were very happy we recommend it.
Alda has been an excellent guide. With passion and great artistic knowledge he has transmitted the personality of Michelangelo, the man and the artist. It has brought us closer to his work and why he is considered a genius. seeing David through Alda's eyes has made us understand him a little. A luxury visit. Thanks, Alda!
Splendid experience, engaging and exciting, thanks to the energy and expertise of the very nice Alda. A pleasure and an honor to have been able to travel in Michelangelo's life among the Gallerie dell'Accademia with her. Highly recommended.
Francesca Ciappi was our guide she was interested in our knowledge, how much we had seen Florence, our impressions and then we started this magical journey. She was fantastic prepared, sweet, polite, intelligent, practical and of extreme kindness
Special thanks to the guide Ilenia, who was able to explain us in a clear and exhaustive way the works on display. I highly recommend taking the tour with her
Alda was exceptional, she told us not only about the beauty of the works, but also about the history of Florence. Without ever getting bored. She loves art and gave us a tour as "non-tourists" to appreciate the works at their best
Experience that I recommend to everyone, I thank Francesca Ciappi for accompanying us with her story and the enthusiasm of who loves art, explaining the works and the historical context.
