This was one of my favorite parts of our trip. Sam, our chef, was helpful, kind and fun. The pasta and tiramisu we made were probably the best meals of our trip!!

Itinerary
Experience an elevated Florentine cooking class and master three Italian icons—fresh pasta, ravioli and tiramisu—in a refined, hands-on setting. You’ll start with pasta dough from scratch, learning chef techniques for texture, elasticity and thickness, with guided checkpoints so you know exactly what “perfect” feels like. Roll and shape your dough, then craft ravioli with a classic ricotta-and-spinach filling, focusing on clean sealing, proper cooking times and finishing for restaurant-quality results. End with a traditional tiramisu: whip a light mascarpone cream, layer espresso-soaked ladyfingers and cocoa, and learn the small details that keep it silky (never runny). Then sit down and enjoy what you’ve created, paired with good wine and warm hospitality. Designed for travelers who want more than a group activity—this is a skill-focused experience you can confidently recreate at home. No experience needed.

Samantha (Sam) was wonderful. She was very funny and informative. The class was just the right length. (2 1/2 hours) We made Taglitelle and Ravioli. Then we made Tiramisu. Everything tasted very good and the wine was nice as well.
Sam was fun, cheeky, and revealed all of Nonna’s secret ways in this excellent cooking class. We learned so many things beyond how to make the pasta and tiramisu; a great lesson in food culture.
10/10 Do this class!! Fun and entertaining! You will learn to make fresh pasta and ravioli and tiramisu from an Italian chef! We couldn’t believe how great it was for the small amount we paid!! One of the best times we had on our trip to Italy! The food tasted delicious and they mean it when they say unlimited wine!
The class was one of my favorite things I did in Florence. The chef was very knowledgeable and worked with each person to create beautiful pasta. The history and the explanation of how to use the various types of pasta was fun. It was much more than expected. Loved it!
Soooo fabulous! Chef’s were fantastic, process was fun fun and the end results… eating it all, was glorious!
We were two families, 4 adults and 7 kids aged 9 to 17, and every single one of us had an amazing time! The atmosphere, the wonderful hosts, the food itself, and all the treats that were served were fantastic. You can really tell that so much thought and care went into every little detail. It was such a fun and memorable experience for both the adults and the kids. Highly recommended!
Highlight of my boys vacation, they enjoyed the tour and the stops. We will do it again when we come back.
A good setting with funny aprons and we made pasta, ravioli and tiramisu. A really good time with plenty of wine.
It was a great time We saw in tv how to make pasta, but a real experience makes a difference. Everyone was so happy
Catherine was amazing! We had a great time and met some fantastic new people. The food was delicious!! We highly recommend.
We loved our pasta and tiramisu experience. Raf was such an amazing teacher and so passionate about his work and life in general. I attended with my husband and 11 year old son. There were 20 people in the class and we had so much fun.
Incredible hands on experience. You truly learn how to make pasta every step of the way. Sam was just an awesome teacher with an incredible personality. The food tasted amazing and the wine was abundant. Highly recommend and worth every penny.
Fun and fabulous way to beat the heat and learn how to make a simple pasta recipe that was delicious. The tiramisu will be something we will make for Christmas! Caterina was the perfect host/chef. Cheers
Loved this experience. Sam was great and enjoyed the owner( can’t remember his name) talking to our class. Eating our pasta we made was amazing. Sam was great explaining how and why to make the pasta. Enjoyed the wine with our meal. We were given all the recipes so we can make our own. Loved the aprons we received as souvenirs. Would definitely recommend this experience.
So much fun. Kevin was informative and delightful. The final food was great. Our group really enjoyed
Great experience! We took the 10:00 AM pasta-making class, and it was fantastic from start to finish. Sam was an amazing chef—she explained each step clearly, made sure everyone understood what to do, and kept the class fun and engaging the whole time. We learned a lot, had a great time, and the fresh pasta we made was delicious. We’d definitely recommend this class to anyone visiting Florence!
Amazing team. Competent and happy. It is very fun. The food for sure really nice. The chef really connected with the experience
Very fun experience! We had great fun making parpadelle and ravioli. Chef/ teacher was very energetic and added to the experience! Would suggest they invest in fly traps as there were lots flying about. At times it was a little dysfunctional… wine wasn’t served, and clean glasses etc. not provided.
Super fun , Chef was fabulous & most importantly, we made the best pasta of my entire life. Still thinking about it 2 weeks later!
Experience was excellent, I took my family with two kids 13 and 15 and everyone had a great time. Food and teacher were excellent.
This was an excellent experience. The class was not rushed, and we enjoyed a very relaxed atmosphere. We were a little worried if our kids (10 and 13) would get much out of the experience, but they both said this was one of their favorite experiences of their entire trip to Italy.
This was a fun class that taught the basics of pasta making! We made our own dough, rolled it out, and shaped the pasta. The cooks then cooked it for us and made the sauce. Delicious!!!
Sam was our chef. She was awesome. My kids (11/14) loved the class. They did well and Sam was wonderful with them.
Very fun cooking class with a great instructor! Sam made it very informative and entertaining! The ravioli and tiramisu turned out delicious.
This was a wonderful, fun and delicious experience. The older brother (Rodolfo ?) led our group. He was very passionate about the food and how it is made. We made pappardelle, ravioli and tiramisu with wine of course. I highly recommend this informative and fun experience.
Our instructor was so kind, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience so much fun! Highly recommend!
This class was so much fun and we learned a lot about making pasta and tiramisu. Both were delicious because mostly due excellent guidance from our instructor Sam. She was terrific.
Excellent cooking experience, delicious food, and we met some great people! Only downside is we never received the recipes after like we were promised, so no ability to ever remake them back home. :(
We had the absolute best time making pasta in Florence. The chef was absolutely amazing. He was super knowledgeable, fun and taught us how to make the best pasta we have ever had!
We really enjoyed this experience. We were able to learn the techniques of making pasta and our instructor was very informative and passionate about cooking. He was very hands on and made sure everyone was successful. He gave us some history and talked about how pasta is made in the different areas of Italy.
This was a great experience! Rafaelo was a wonderful host - he was a great teacher, very funny, and is so passionate about his work. My family had so much fun and learned a lot.
The pasta class was GREAT! Kevin was a wonderful pasta guide, as were the “supporting characters” who helped to keep things running smoothly. It was a lot of fun. Two things: 1) Viator stated that the class started at 1:00; however it began at 1:30 and we did not receive notice. Something to iron out as we struggled to make it “on time”, only to wait a half hour. 2) Just a suggestion - A little Italian instrumental music in the background would be a nice extra touch. Overall, a great afternoon - Grazie, Kevin!
I was able to book this amazing experience just a few days ahead because I was traveling solo. We had a wonderful chef who had worked in Michelin starred restaurants. The place was lovely. I had a wonderful time meeting other Americans in Italy and I learned how to make two types of pasta and tiramisu. I would highly recommend this class and plan to bring my family back next time.
Sam was our instructor she was great! We had the best time doing this class on our first night in Florence!
Excellent experience. Great instruction and fun activity for all ages. I would highly recommend to anyone.
Definitely would recommend. Samantha our chef/teacher was amazing. We laughed a ton and learned a lot. The food was fabulous, wine was wonderful and dessert was amazing. Our group of 11 that ranged in age from 18-55 all enjoyed the experience.
Really great pasta class! Fantastic instructor. Meal was delish. Could have skipped the tiramisu as it was not hands on, or easy to see demo.
Great with a couple or group, you’ll have a great time and the food is amazing. Be sure to come hungry. We hope to return for one of their other classes.
Really fun even if you are not a cook! Also come a little hungry because you will eat what you made at the end. Delicious!
We had the best time learning from chef Raf! He was so passionate about his craft, loved every minute of it! Highly recommend
Incredible, fun experience. Would highly recommend. Staff was exceptional. We had so much fun, my husband said it was one of his favorite activities while in Italy. The sauce was the best we had during our stay, simply delicious. The owner was so pationate about cooking, it was refreshing to see a propiator care so much. I wish I could remember the young ladies name who lead the class, she made us feel like family.
Very enjoyable experience! Kevin (our chef instructor), beside the actual cooking technique(s), added history, and humor! The entire experience was more than expected - highly recommend!
Fun group, great chefs, food was wonderful. Small group experience and chefs were attentive. Very fun way to spend an evening in Florence.
This was an amazing experience all around. Our chef made the whole thing both educational and fun with a love of italian heritage. He walked us through each step, gave us the whys, and was able to help everyone form their doughs. He was so cool and had a lot if passion for teaching! We made 2 pasta shapes and part of the tiramisu. We were provided with lots of wine and a charcuterie plate too. The finished meal of our own pastas turned out great. Our 20 year old had as much fun as we did! The experience was almost 3.5 hours since we all said we were not in a hurry!! Highly recommend if you need time off from seeing sights and museums!!
I have always wanted to do a pasta making class - but to do it in Italy was something else! We didn't just watch a demonstration we made the pasta ourselves. It was fun and entertaining - and the food turned out amazing! Highly recommend.
A fun and welcoming evening led by the wonderful Samantha! She guided us in making two kinds of pasta and then showed us how to make tiramisu. After the restaurant cooked it and added sauce for us, we ate all of it and it was delicious. The activity was enjoyable and the people were friendly. It is good for all skill levels. I was solo and felt very included. I highly recommend this.
Best pasta maker and tiramisu. Drop by and enjoy wine with the instructor. You will be full when done eating.
We loved the setting. Our chef/teacher was patient and gave us the Italian culture as well as detailed instructions on how to make our meal.
This class was so much fun! Food was excellent and the teacher was very friendly. Met so many other nice people in class
