We had a fantastic adventure start to finish. Alesando was an excellent guide. The most difficult part for us was the city bike riding. It definitely added to the adventure. We are 65 and 67 and we had no trouble with the ebikes. Bring water and a desire for an amazing day riding in the Tuscan hills.

Overall a great experience, the only reason for the very good (4) rating was the somewhat challenging hill climbs which were unexpected. Our guide was great and the olive and wine tasting stop was enjoyable and informative. The 5 hrs was doable with the stops with the ride being considerably more technical than we have previously experienced. It was adventurous and would not recommend for very young or inexperienced riders. No throttle, just assist modes, so you will get a workout!
Even through the weather was hot, the E bike tour was cooler and easier than walking. Our tour guide Leone Marigo was hugely knowledgeable and enthusiastic on a wide range of subjects. A huge plus to the event. The day ended with delicious wine and a relaxing swim in a chiq hotel pool up in the hills. Highly recommend.
Had a great time with our guide, Victoria with CiaoFlorence. This is a great outing for experienced bike riders. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with physical challenges or to novice bike riders. The road surfaces were uneven and the hills and curves required good coordination and at least a decent knowledge of bike riding. The scenery was beautiful and the route was fun.
Our favorite activity for our 5 days in Florence! We are an active family of 5 (including 3 teens). We love to do unique things. We did this tour our first full day in Florence, and it was perfect for us. A great ride into the hills, great wine and olive oil tasting, and finished with a ride along the Arno. A great value for a great bike ride!
Had a fantastic ride with our guide Marco! Only had a ride in the city for 2 km or so and then got into very quiet roads through rolling Hills with hardly a car in sight beautiful views of Florence. I highly recommend Marco.
The ride is beautiful through the countryside with wonderful views of Florence from a hilltop town. The Olive Grover is very nice and informative, but note that this is where they grow the olives, not where they process the oil. We still enjoyed it very much. The E bikes were in good condition, except a few were missing chain guards, which cause bike oil to get on our pants. I let the tour operator know. Also, our tour guide was pleasant, but a little quiet and I feel it could’ve made the experience much better with some enthusiasm and education along the way. If you are new to riding, be aware that you do ride through the busy city for a little while, and the climb is quite big. Be sure to use turbo mode up the big hills, which our guide discouraged, but it was necessary for some in my party. They had a great time which they used a higher pedal assist, and it kept the group together.
amazing guided tour outside of busy city. No touristic soors, amazing Pasticceria we visited and magical olive farm. The ride is in overall easy and you can enjoy beautiful landscapes and panoramas
What a beautiful ride from the center of Florence to the top of Fiesole! The olive oil mill was so interesting, and I learned a lot. Both wine and oil were delicious. I have taken several e-bike tours (Paris, Athens, Versailles, North Carolina...) and this was the most rigorous by far. I am 58 and ride a bike, segway, and motorcycle without a problem. I walk regularly, too. This was a LOT for me. The e-bike was tall and heavy. My 5-foot-tall athletic niece struggled with height of the bike. She and another woman couldn't touch the ground while on the seat. I highly recommend this tour and Marco was a wonderful guide who looked out for all of us and ensured we were safe and keeping up with the group. I would just classify this tour as appropriate for a more athletic traveler, and would say if you're not at least 5'4", you may struggle with the height and weight of the bike.
Really fun tour! We had a group of 5 and we stopped along the way at viewpoints and a small church (unfortunately the museum part was closed as it was a Sunday). Easy ride in terms of fitness level required but it was a lot more dangerous than I expected with one of the girls falling off her bike twice. A lot of steep downhills with rocks/uneven ground, would recommend being a confident cyclist. We tried 2 olive oils, picked a fresh fig from the tree and tried one glass of wine. I did think we’d tour the olive farm and learn about the process/farming a bit more though.
First of all our guide Grazie was amazing from start to finish. She made sure we knew how the bikes worked and let us take a test drive to make sure everything was working properly. Riding through downtown Florence was a bit dicey, but once we were out of town it became very peaceful the farther up we went. When we got to the Olive Oil farm we had a great professional olive oil tasting and some of their wine. I absolutely loved it. If you are in the fence about taking this tour, don’t think just do it! You will not be disappointed.
Was so fine and the guide Lucia very nice we had so much fun. The Fiesole Is very beautiful and calm place. Hope we back to it
This tour to Fiesole on e-bikes was incredible and gorgeous! Lucy kept us safe and well-informed. The scenery was exquisite and the olive oil tasting was fun! The price is the best you will find for an e-bike tour. Thank you Lucy & Ciao Florence!
Lisa was a good guide, safety, guiding and funny, polite! Beautiful roads in mountains north of Florence. We recommend this!
Ride and visit to the olive business was great. I only have one suggestion due to a rider on trip not being able to ride a bike and pulled out after a few hundred meters is to assist the guide by providing them with a UHF radio which one unit could be provided to the rear rider, then when an incident occurs can call guide who can stop and return to riders left behind.
This was the most amazing adventure we had in Florence. Leone was a fabulous guide and his knowledge of the area was really valuable. We loved everything.
Our two guides were amazing, and the bike ride was so picturesque both up to the olive oil tasting and on the way back to Florence. The olive oil tasting was amazing as well, the farm itself was beautiful and it was really informative!
Amazing tour guide was very knowledgeable and super friendly. Stunning views and great to explore some of the countryside surrounding Florence.
Excellent. Great guide, great tour. Makes florence worth it. The e bikes, the length of the tour, the breaks in between everything is v nicely planned
Go on this tour with Leone! You won’t regret it. We had a fabulous time. It was so peaceful up in the hills once we were out away from the traffic. The views were fantastic of Florence from the Hills. We enjoyed riding along the Arno river, but the best part of the trip was our guide. He was just very easy-going and knowledgeable and kind. Stop at the olive oil tasting was very educational and the wine was great that we also tasted. We just highly recommend this trip. We were also very lucky as we were the only two on it!
We went as a family of 5 - 2 kids (aged 10 & 12), grandparent, and 2 adults. The e-bike for my 10-year-old was a bit too big and heavy. If not for the rain, it'd have gone smoothly. Similarly, the brake on my husband's bike was a bit loose to start with. By the end of the trip, he wasn't able to brake the rear tire, which eventually caused him to fall on a sharp and slippery turn. Luckily, all injuries were minor. Our guide, Leone, was kind, helpful, and flexible. Because of the bad weather, we took more and longer breaks than planned, which made the experience more enjoyable. Despite the rain, the views were spectacular, and the tour of the olive oil making factory was educational and delicious! I don't know if it's avoidable, but there was more traffic than I anticipated.
The ebike ride to Firenze and to the Olive farm was amazing. Leone and Lorenzo were brilliant guides with extensive knowledge of Florence and the surrounding area. I recommend a vist to Frantoio Buonamici for the Olive oil tasting.
This was my favorite way to see and experience Florence. The views and hidden gems along the way were amazing. Our guide, Franchesco, was the BEST. He was so knowledgeable about history, sites, plants and just a joy to ride with. Fattoria di Poggiopiano was just delicious and we learned alot about olive oil and wine. We ordered gifts :)
Lucia was an amazing tour guide, very knowledgeable and very enthusiastic and the electric bikes made biking up the mountains much less intimidating. The views were incredible and we made many stops to look at the amazing scenery. 10/10 highly recommend this tour. Be prepared to spend 4-6 hours doing this tour
A really lovely day out. Our guide Lucy took us through the outskirts of Firenze, up to Fisole, with many stops on the way to look at views and hear about the history. Then down the country lanes to a vineyard and olive grove where we learnt about and tasted local wine and olive oil. The steep climbs felt easy on the e- bikes, and Lucy dealt confidently with our varied group- going back to pick up stragglers who had taken a wrong turn, and getting out her first aid kit when someone slipped on the gravel. We Despite these adventures, we all said it was the best tour we had done. A real joy to get out of the city away from crowds and see the countryside, and the best views of Firenze itself. I would definitely recommend!
Lucie was amazing! I had an incredible time and learned much about Olive oil and Florence. I will recommend this to my friend
Great experience, great guide. The olive oil and wine tasting was fantastic. The views were amazing. The guide gave us information as we went along.
The views and the ride were incredible! And Giordano, our guide was super cool and really fun. The olive mill was interesting to learn about, but speeding through Tuscan mountains and seeing the city of Florence from above was incredible.
The trip was even more amazing than we expected. Lucie, who led the tour, was fantastic — she told us so many interesting facts about Florence, Fiesole, and their history. The bicycles were perfect. We really enjoyed the olive oil (along with some wine!) tasting at a beautiful farm with stunning landscapes. The hosts explained how their products are made, which was fascinating. We had so much fun and would absolutely recommend this experience!
Beautiful experience with e-bikes in the Fiesole hills. Wonderful views and interesting tasting of oil and wine at the farm. Special thanks to our guide Lucia!
Despite being locals, we and another couple of friends wanted to try this unusual experience. We spent a beautiful morning, cycling and admiring beautiful views. Lucia explained many interesting things. I recommend it as an experience, to tourists and also to Florentines who do not disdain an immersion in nature.
Really a good ride. Lucia really good guide. I really enjoyed stopping to do the tasting, gave us the opportunity to rest and taste a good oil and wine
Thank you very much for the excursion, we are Argentine , it was really an adventure to tour Tuscany with Lucia , it was very friendly, had experience and a lot of knowledge , spoke to us in Spanish perfectly!!!!, I recommend being an athlete because you have to have skills in balance since there are many ups and downs with the bike and if you are not trained it can be dangerous , we are athletes and there were times when we paid close attention driving the bikes. Thanks for all the super recommend !!!!!
Great bike ride. We discovered places where we would not have gone. The guide was experienced and friendly. The visit of the vineyard was simple but friendly and authentic. We drank well and ate well. Only less strong was the second stop shortly after dinner to again eat and have a drink. I would have preferred to stop for a gelato. In the end, I recommend it!
