Tour person was a little late. Could be a little easier to find them. We did get to skip the line and walk right in. That was good. No guide.

Terrible experience. Time was wrong and the price is outrageously over charged. Would not recommend and would say actively stay away
Easy pick up of ticket and entry to all venues. Highly recommended
Neighbor was so knowledgeable, friendly and concise. We learned a great deal on our tour. He even recommended a great lunch spot’n
We enjoyed visiting this part of Florence however comfy shoes and patience are a must! There are a lot of tourists and long lines to get into everything here except for the baptisry. My hubby went up top and the roof climb and he said the climb was ardous and stuffy/hot so I am glad I passed on that. I did the inside of the cathedral and the catacombs while he did that part. The church is not really that ornate for a Catholic cathedral. A great deal of white! The catacombs were interesting but the roof is a bit low so I didn't spend but maybe 15 mins down there. The baptistry was undergoing renovation and had scaffolding as did parts of the Duomo. Still made for an interesting visit and highly recommended!
Complicated process. Constant texts and emails prior to meeting point date, but then.......no one was there to validate our voucher! Greeter to print tickets was not where he/she was supposed to be. We waited at assigned location for 30 minutes.
Salman was very cooperative n though we could not understand the location, he was calm n helped us in finding it. Post handing over the physical tickets he was available on call n answered all the questions.
For as beautiful as it is on the outside you will be disappointed. You don’t have to go in here. There are more beautiful places to see in Florence. I would advise friends to skip an inside tour of the cathedral.
Disorganized. Tells you to meet at some address to change your online vouchers for tickets. Nobody was there. Waited 45 mins and then left.
Our guide was excellent and we learned so much more than we would have if we had gone on our own. Thank you Litizia!
Lovely church and really amazing museum. The reliquary was fascinating. Slip the line was nice. Went in the morning so the crowd was relatively light.
This tour only covers a small portion of the cathedral, so it’s a good option if you’re mainly interested in seeing the dome itself. The tour guide will also inform you that your ticket includes access to two additional locations and is valid for two days. Important tip: Make sure to take screenshots of your QR codes on the first day! Otherwise, you may not be able to access the ticket link the following day, which could prevent you from visiting the other locations.
You must buy this ticket if you want to see the Duomo in a timely manner. They were super diligent in sending the tickets, explaining how to get there and answering any questions. Follow their timed recommendations and enjoy. We were so happy to have this ticket.
Directions for meeting were not clear and there were massive amounts of people and multiple groups. We called the tour guide who told us to hurry to the meeting place and when we got there they left. I called Biator and was told it was the tourist the day (at 1pm). Found another company who was much more accommodating. So now..I have paid DOUBLE for the tour. Would NOT recommend Viator for this. They were rude and said “everyone else found the group”. The Guide was not helpful at all when I called but another company was much more helpful. The Duomo is Florence is quite crowded and the designated meeting spot was not easy to find.
Well worth the money. Spent 4 days in Florence visiting my daughter who's in college. I spent three days looking at the extremely long ques in the people standing un the heat of the sunshine. Eventually after going on to TripAdvisor for another reason, I found that you could book a time and pay to get in quicker. Got to see it in all its glory in plenty of time. My only grip was the meeting point to get your entry ticket. Waiting outside a shop for someone to arrive with an A4 sign with the names of all the sites you can book on. At one point I thought I had been scamed. Surly this system can be made better. Apart from that it was well worth the money . Totally recommend it.
Very disappointing. The Duomo is being refurbished preventing seeing much of the cathedral. One guest wasn’t allowed in due to her bag having 2 straps. It was a small fashion bag which she carried on her shoulder.
Avoid this tour! It is not a way to avoid the very long lines. It is not a fast tract option. The timed entry that you are buying doesn’t mean you get to avoid the long lines to the venue. It is also very confusing and hard to find the tour group to even get your tickets! I’ve asked viator for a refund but thus far they are refusing. Very misleading description and I would avoid at all costs! It also is very disappointing that viator is not listening to my account of our experience.
Not worth the money… an unguided tour is worthless in a city like this!! Find something else that has a knowledgeable person in charge.
First time booking a guided tour…a little confusing re process of getting tickets, we got ours early so we could do the Museum (fabulous) prior to the Duomo; our guide was knowledgeable, small group so definitely worth the $. Climbing the Duomo was definitely worthwhile, because it’s staggered entry, you’re not too pressured to climb fast - it’s very steep, almost trickier coming down. The view from the top was stunning and viewing the fresco at height on the interior of the Duomo was stunning. Definitely a highlight!
The cathedral was closed. Fast track entry meant absolutely nothing as there was NO entry. Not even a partial refund was provided. Very disappointing.
Not worth buying fast entrance if you’re willing to wait in a line for 10 minutes longer. It wasn’t a skip the line entrance and it was extremely difficult transferring the tickets from the “guide” who wasn’t a tour guide. The app should directly send you the tickets. Not worth the money at all!!!!!
This is a third party ticket provider and a scam. In the United States it is called scalping, which is illegal. You will have to meet someone unofficial in a third party location. They gain access to your phone number and other information. Please do yourself a favor and buy from the official resources or on-site.
This is a scam. Buy your tickets at the location. There is no such thing as a fast pass. You will have to meet someone unofficial at a third party location.
Well worth spending the money to not have to line up for hours!!!!! It was easy to meet and collect the information for the tickets. Got access to the Duomo Cathedral, baptistery, bell tower and museum.
Well worth seeing and the meeting-point was easy to find. We still had to queue for 20 minutes to get it, so the entry is not all that "fast" !
Our guide was very knowledgeable and seemed very passionate about teaching us everything there was to know about the cathedral. If we had walked through there alone with no guide, nothing would’ve been of any significance.
The booking system screwed up our entry time and Viator provided virtually no assistance. And when we went to the Duomo in late afternoon, there was no line anyways so the tickets ended up being a complete waste of money. Would not book again.
The Florence Duomo and Campanile are spectacular! It is a very crowded area so it was a bit confusing figuring out where to go and exactly what we had tickets for. The person taking tickets said we did not have a "Skip the Line" ticket, but that is what we ordered. I highly recommend climbing the Campanile, but it is a LOT of steps and the stairways get very narrow.
It was my first tour. I asked for advise in the ti ticket office and showed them my voucher. The reply was we did not sell you that. It was raining heavily and windy. We did not know what to do. We missed the tour. I do think it would have been helpful if our guide rang us as he was able to What's app us. The next day we understood the procedure and we were successful in getting g the tour.
This was a a scam, there was no skip the line line. Paid $40+ for no reason and entry is free to the duomo
It was OK - I don't know if it was worth booking it through a third party - tickets are readily available at the location, and you don't have to watch the time and adjust your plans to a previously planned reservation, you can just buy tickets when it's convenient for you in the moment
Fantastic experience, must see. It is absolutely stunning, so much history, it’s fascinating. Highly recommend!
We were scammed. I purchased three tickets for the Duomo the evening before the date and aviator never showed up. Then a couple were at the Duomo at the same scheduled time and infmed me that the tour was canceled, even before Viator took my money for the tour. I was as scammed and want my refund.
This is an entrance ticket only, no guides. Other than visiting and seeing the Duomo, really learned nothing about it
It was disappointing because the cathedral ended up being closed to the public on the day of our ticket. The museum was good and we could kind of see the cathedral when we went into the crypt. It was disappointing to spend so much money on something and not be able to see the main attraction. It wasn't a holiday so it would have been appreciated if there was some sort of notification from trip advisor that the cathedral was closed to the public that day.
Great for our family, especially skip-the-kine, as we had a very tight schedule
Texted an issue and got right back to me. So simple and easy. I got confused on where to go and texted them and they helped me right away.
Pay for guided tour no one showed up made a call was told it's not guided tour I am my own. Got ripped off don't book
It was 100 degrees in Florence and you could not but ticket without the bell tower in the app. In addition the trip advisor app will not allow student purchase. Internet for guided tour iffy so not worth it
Well worth the money but the instructions were confusing. There was a meeting point but then a text was sent to me (that I didn’t see) that said just go and use the tickets in the text. So we spent quite some time trying to find the vendor at the meeting point. Finally when I called he was super nice and met us and explained that he had sent a text. After that it was super easy and convenient. I’d recommend this to anyone.
We never got to see the inside because the ticket process was a fail. It was not clear that what we purchased after visiting the Trip Advisor website was merely a voucher, not an actual ticket. By the time we discovered this, our scheduled entry time had passed.
The Duomo officially opens at 10:15 (the Bell Tower opens at 10:00). Make sure you get in line EARLY! We got in line at 9:50, we were about 40 people back from the front, and by 10:15am the line was at least 250 people behind us. I recommend going immediately to the Crypt because the space is narrow and difficult to take your time to read the information and appreciate what you are seeing when it gets crowded - which happened about 20 min after we arrived.
We booked the tour very late (few days before our arrival in Florence). It was well organized and we got contacted by the tour operator in advance and received our tickets.
Feel this was a fraudulent offer as the Duomo was closed. A company should not sell tickets to a closed venue.
Excellent service with last minute booking. Very attentive with last minute questions and immediate responses. Thank you!
Thought we had to find guide to get tickets. Couldn't find guide. Decided to go to entry point with info we had, we were able to use code we had. The instruction were not clear.
Don’t be fooled into thinking this is a tour. We met a guy standing in front of a smoke shop and he pointed us towards a baggage drop and said leave your bag here then go to this door, this door and this door (showing us on a map) and you should be able to get in fairly quickly. He was correct but there is no guided tour.
For the price, it was fine. The meeting guides were late.
I was sold tickets for the visit of a church for which entry is free and the other supposed advantages of these tickets were unstable. I have requested a refund.
We were sold tickets for a day that the cathedral is not open. One hour before the event, we received tickets and the suggestion to visit the cathedral the next day. We are only in Florence for one day, so this will not work. Buyer beware with this tour operator.
