Florence: Accademia Gallery To See David Skip-the-line Tickets

We arrived to the meeting point 30 mins early. No tour guide was present. After 5 minutes late, I inquired on the text chat for assistance. I attempted to contact the local tour guide and viator twice. At 25 minutes past I called again after being hung up on and VM. The representative was able to finally contact the local guide who said we were not in the system. I showed the original email confirmation, the second email confirmation and the e ticket that was downloaded. They offered the next time line for the tour and we hopped right in the line. Once the tickets were in hand, the process was easy. Insanely overpriced but worth skipping the line if your goal is to see ‘David’.

very unsettling. There was poor directions. No one was at the site stated in the instructions to meet and get tickets. I made several calls that went unanswered. Needless to say a terrible experience. Expected a timed entry per the website and purchase, but was over an hour late.

Viator was simple and made our tour easy. Met at the designated place, showed the guide our reservation and he gave us tickets. We were inside within 2 minutes. Definitely worth buying ahead of time.

Everyone comes for David, but I ended up enjoying the unfinished sculptures just as much. They give a fascinating look into Michelangelo's work.

Buyer beware. We received no direction as to where to use our priority entry tickets purchased through Tripadvisor. On the scheduled day (May 19) and time (10 am) to utilize our priority tickets we could not identify an agent to process our ticket. After many confusing conversations with guides of the Academia and other touring service agents we were told our priority tour was cancelled due to a third party sever shut down. No communication from Tripadvisor or refund to date. Very disappointed.

The regular line was very long, so this ticket helped a lot.We got inside quickly and without problems. The gallery layout is simple and clear.David alone makes the visit worth it.I would recommend this ticket during peak season.

I paid for two tickets which allowed me entrance and audio guides. When I went in, the museum said I had to pay for the audio guides. I called Viator, and they refused to give me any reimbursement for the audio guides. I didn’t buy the audio guides since I didn’t have a way to pay for them at the time.

Honestly, skipping the line felt like a luxury! Florence can get really busy, but this ticket made it so simple. The Accademia Gallery isn’t huge, but every piece feels important. Standing in front of David was surreal. It’s something photos can never capture.

David is the main attraction here and is quite spectacular. There is some beautiful art in the adjoining rooms, however the primary reason to visit is to see Michelangelo’s David.

Everything went well, we met with the partner 5 min before booked time, we skipped the line and got in very quickly. Unfortunately audio guide was not included as advertised, we had to pay 12€ extra for it. When looking for experiences we specifically wanted one that included audio guide and that's why we booked this one and payed extra, which in the end didn't matter and still had to pay audio guide on top of the already higher price.

Easy to book and reedem the ticlets, seamless experience alltogether, I recommend this agency. Visit on September 2025

Our guide was a NO SHOW. We wasted an hour of our precious time. Worthless. No communication. What a disappointing experience.

So cool! I got in with no wait, and boom, David was right there 😮! I’d seen pics before, but seeing it in real life? Mind-blowing. If you're in Florence, don’t miss this!

This gallery is a treasure. I came for David, but I stayed longer to admire other Renaissance works. The lighting and space are perfect for reflection. A must for anyone passionate about art and sculpture.

Easy process and perfect timing. I loved not having to stand in the heat waiting to get in. The Accademia Gallery is full of beautiful artwork, but David alone makes the visit worth it. Highly recommended!

There was a mix up with our booking. Really helpful staff sorted it onsite to duomo cattedrale di Santa Maria del fiore which was amazing. Guide was superb, informative and helpful. Would recommend rebooking & no queue. Also guide is a must.

finding the meeting point was easy to find and finding the host was also so simple, which where he starts to explain how everything works which helps tons!! i enjoyed the tour bymyself and had a great time exploring. one of the best visits in Florence to me

Finding the host was easy, helped us with everything. We started the tour with passion exploring everything. We liked it and it met our expectations.

Meeting point is not as per the map, completely opposite side of the cathedral. Booked 'Florence: Duomo Cathedral Fast-track Entry Ticket with Host" with an entry time of 0945hrs. Got to EU Travel rep, who handed me a sheet of paper with a timed entry to the cathedral at 1300hrs. No means to enter at my booked time and there was no 'host'. Completely upended our plans for the day. Returned for the 1300hrs entry, only to find the 'fast track' entry had a queue of a couple of hundred people, with no shade. We can't all have been booked for the same time, surely? Duomo museum was great, but extremely disappointed with the 3.25hrs entry time change to the Cathedral. And given the Cathedral is free entry, this trip seemed a rip off. Onside prices €25 per adult. Charged almost €61 for for the inconvenience of a significant time shift and no host.

A fraud. The general admission to Florence Cathedral is free. This tour does not take you to skip the line entrance. Instead, you pay to get in the line of free admission.

The person with my ticket never showed up, I lost time and money. I request a full refund of the cost.

Check the date on official sites. They sold me the experience with knowledge that the museum does not open on January 1. A robbery!
