our tour guide from the guy tour was absolutely fantastic. She was spotting. Thank you again.

Back outside, stroll over to Florence's most recognizable landmark for an exterior look at the Duomo, Brunelleschi's dome, the bell tower, and the Baptistery. Continue along Via Calzaiuoli and into Piazza della Signoria, Florence's open-air sculpture gallery and political heart. (Piazza della Signoria and the historic center walking tour are not included with the Group Express option.)
Once again, enjoy quick entry with your pre-reserved tickets and step into one of the world's greatest collections of Renaissance art. Reviews
Tour guide (Cosette) was very knowledgeable and kind. She took time to explain things that the group was interested in, and was attentive when some of the older group members were falling behind. She was very good at hitting all of the key attractions without taking too much time at any one painting. This was the perfect way to see the David and the Uffizi. We would highly recommend it!
Great tour. Informative. Cosetta was a great guide!
Lucia was an absolute pleasure as a guide. She was very knowledgeable, kept the pace good without being too fast. Her energy level was infectious. She loves her subject and loves sharing it. This was our 3rd tour with Tour Guys and very pleased.
This tour and guide - Cosetta- were worth every penny! Cosetta was so knowledgeable and we learned things about Florence, the art and artists that you could never learn just reading about it. So much fun! Thank you!
Well organized and very informative. Our tour guide Marco was outstanding. He was very knowledgeable.
Great guide Great museums Very knowledgeable Easy walk You get see all the best paintings and sculptures in Florence Nice group Highly recommend That sums it up
Lori was an excellent guide with great history lessons that helped to understand the culture and context of the incredible works of art we were viewing. She was efficient, timely, and thoughtful as well as great at shepherding us through crowded plazas and museums. Definitely ask for her on your tour!
Group of 8 with our guide Lucia. She was delightful. Very helpful to our group and patiently answered all of our questions.
We were late on the train and so the tour operator was unable to wait for us nor even let us join them between points. They did, however, give us a 60% refund which is good for 3 years. BTW, there is a copy of the statue of David at the Piazza della Signoria in Florence, Italy, directly in front of the Palazzo Vecchio. There are also many other statues there of Greek and Roman mythical figures and historical figures.
Cosette was wonderful. Full of information and insight. It hit all the highlights and important things to see in the Academia and Uffizi. Highly recommended!
This tour was incredible! Our guide was full of interesting facts! Loved it!!! She kept a good pace and was sure not to leave anyone in our group behind. In the museums she would wait for us to gather before speaking.
Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, organized, and personable. She expertly guided us through some thick crowds, provided excellent history behind what we were seeing, and threw in a few extras (like where to get the best gelato. Very worthwhile tour.
Art Expert guide Marco gave the insightful yet efficient experience you hope for so that you can include this premium Florence experience with confidence.
Great way to see the highlights. Tour was longer than expected and well worth it. Unfortunately, I forgot the name of our tour guide, but she was great! Very personable, funny, and knowledgeable.
The meeting point address wouldn’t show up for the taxi app so I could not book a taxi there. I called and let the lady know I would be late and she seemed to not be able to help at all. Would never book this trip again. For now on I will just book directly from the site. The people at Viator are over charging and if you are one minute late they will leave you.
Excellent tour. Marco the tour guide was very knowledgeable. Learned a lot about the history of Florence. Well organized. Highly recommended
Our tour guide was wonderful!! He educated us about and showed us so many different things that walking through unguided we would have missed. It was great seeing the art and hearing the history and we had plenty of time to tour both museums.
Claudia was an amazing tour guide. Very knowledgeable
Being able to practically walk right into the Academia and Uffizi without wasting hours standing in line was key to spending our limited time in Florence wisely. Francesca was very knowledgeable and got us from place to place efficiently. Loved the whisper mic/ear pieces. Even with the 3 hour tour, it is a lot of walking, and you will get tired. Be prepared for the possibility of one restroom break max. Wear good shoes and beware if you have physical limitations as one couple had to leave the tour.
Marco was the best tour guide ever. Marco and the tour company were excellent. Marco had an unbelievable passion and his insight into depth knowledge of the history, the key figures and the culture made this tour so enjoyable. I can’t imagine a better tour guide than Marco and I can’t imagine a more enjoyable tour. Bravo Marco!
Awesome! Very informative! Thank you to Francesca for a wonderful tour.
A must do when visiting Florence.
My husband took this tour a few years ago through the same company. We brought our kids to Italy this year and wanted them to experience it. Lori was our tour guide for the day! She was just lovely. He accent was a little hard to understand at times- my husband and I understood most of what was being said (perhaps because we’d taken the tour before) but the kids were having a hard time understanding her. Even though the tour was 3 hours, it went by so quickly- we missed many of the rooms that we’d previously been able to see and since we left the gallery and went onto the next one, we couldn’t go back in to see what was missed. I think she wanted to show us all the most important or renowned pieces which caused us to miss things. All in all, I would still recommend this tour as we did enjoy it a second time.
I was visiting Florence for a very limited time with my wife on our honeymoon, and wanted to get the unmissable experience. We went with the David with Uffizi option and it was amazing. Our guide Francesca was absolutely delightful, full of life and information and made our 3 hour 30 minute tour breeze by! Very satisfied!
Very good guided tour. David if definitely a highlight of the tour. The walk around the Duomo to explain the exterior architecture highlights also provides a great overview of the history, culture and architecture with the baptistery doors being a standout. The Uffizi gallery tour which covers antiquity to medieval to renaissance art is much better done with a guide who can provide context and help us focus on the key highlights.
Our through the museum was excellent and very friendly! I loved how she explained pictures and statues and the stories behind the them! Very professional!
Very knowledgeable tour guide. Had a great experience and not having to navigate the long lines was wonderful. Plus, she had wonderful restaurant recommendations for us!
Very interesting your reviewing the highlights - David at Accademia and Uffizi gallery with an exterior review of Duomo. Knowledgeable guide who was able to speak to the evolution of art from medieval to renaissance art.
There's a lot of information covered in tour. It would help you to brush up on late medieval and early Renaissance history.
Marco was amazing with knowledge and enthusiasm as our guide. The Accademia Gallery, Duomo, and Uffizi Gallery
Had a wonderful experience and tour with Cozzetta. She was extremely full of knowledge and provided just enough information. Amazing tour guide and amazing tour. Wish we had more time!
Our tour guide was the best. She is knowledgeable, polite, thorough, with a sense of humor. All the sites were explained thoroughly.
Overall, this was a good tour of the Accademia Gallery and a great way to see Michelangelo’s David while learning more about the history and artwork in the museum. Our guide was knowledgeable and provided helpful information that we probably would have missed visiting on our own. Unfortunately, it was extremely hot and very crowded, which made the experience much less enjoyable. The combination of the heat, crowds, and limited space became exhausting, and by the end we were honestly ready for the tour to be over. Seeing David in person was absolutely impressive and worth experiencing, and the tour itself was well done. Our biggest issue was really the conditions rather than the tour or guide. If visiting during the busy summer months, just be prepared for significant crowds and heat.
Marco was a great guide. We enjoyed seeing David and visiting the Uffizi Gallery. We highly recommend.
Marco was an engaging tour guide and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. It ticked all our boxes for getting an overview of the artwork on display in Florence. Thank you Marco.
Excellent time with Francesca
Great tour. Very informative and our guide Giada was incredible. Highly recommend . She is friendly and passionate about art.
It was amazing and I learned so much! Our tour guide was incredible and so knowledgeable. We even went to a local place she recommended for lunch.
This is a great tour, but I definitely suggest doing the Uffizi part as well! Giada was an amazing guide - she was knowledgeable about the histories, subject matter, and perspectives of the pieces. It really made it enjoyable to hear how and why these artworks came to be. Would love to tour the first floor of the Uffizi with her!
Very good guide, stopped for ice cream due to the intense heat, was very necessary. Good pace, got great tips for other things to see in florence.
Great tour, very informative and well paced. Highly recommend!
We booked with The Tour Guide. Our guide was Cosette and she was amazing! She shared her broad depth of history and art to make the experience come to life. I highly recommend this tour.
Most knowledgeable guide Marco! We saw a lot and learned a lot. He guided us through the crowds to see David at Accademia , the cathedral and many beautiful and important paintings in Ufizzi. We would ask for him next time!
I had several tours in Italy over the last week and this was so far the best one. In my experience any tour highly depends on the guide and this one was beyond my expectations! Lori did the outstanding job in both galleries and even around the city center, she is highly knowledgeable. Thank you Lori!
Statue of David is amazing and so is the museum.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and had an enthusiasm for the works he was describing. Since the tour was limited time, he covered the highlights. And we had limited time to see as much as we could. We will need to go back at another time and take our time to really enjoy the museums.
Francesca was my guide and she was wonderful! Kind, made sure everyone stuck together, and very knowledgeable. Overall this tour was a great way to see the highlights of the Accademia and Uffizi, with several nice anecdotes/pieces of information about Florence and the Medici family while strolling through town. We also were allowed a stop for handmade gelato! Prepare for lots of time on your feet!
We loved the tour guides wealth of information and the time he took to give us the history. We also loved the skip the line tickets.
Our guide was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and engaging.
