The tour was a nice, simple walking tour that explained the history of the windows and significance in the past few years. We enjoyed the extra olive oil tasting and knowledge. My partner and I had the premium package that allowed for a second wine window and some amazing sandwiches at the end. I definitely recommend this tour for the experience, good food, and great wine.

In the center of Florence, along Via Calzaiuoli, on the site where once stand a women’s monastery with land used as a vegetable garden, a small church dedicated to St. Michele Arcangelo (Michael the Archangel), called San Michele in Orto (hence “orto di San Michele” (St. Michael’s vegetable garden) and then “Orsanmichele”), was erected around the middle of the 8th century
Via dei Calzuioli is one of the most elegant streets in the historic center of Florence: 400 metres long and lined with shops, it connects Piazza del Duomo to Piazza della Signoria
The Palazzo Medici, also called the Palazzo Medici Riccardi after the later family that acquired and expanded it, is a 15th-century Renaissance palace in Florence, Italy. Highly recommend!! Alicia was incredibly knowledgeable on David and history of the city!
This tour was extremely rushed, uninformative, and very disorganized. Please assist in refunding the experience as it was unfortunately a very displeasing tour.
Whilst the guide was very knowledgeable, the content didn’t match the tour description. The meeting point wasn’t clear and guide wasn’t easily identifiable. Her style was rushed and uninterested with very little interaction with participants. It was such a disappointing tour that we almost left the tour early on, it was only the promise of a glass of wine which kept us going. In conversation with other participants, there was a similar sense of disappointment and misrepresentation. Perhaps a retitle is required for this tour.
An excellent walking tour. Greta was friendly and knowledgeable, walked at a good pace, and showed us wonderful corners in this grand city.
Fabio was fantastic. He is very knowledgeable and gave great recommendations of places to see during our stay.
It was the perfect length for a tour to the Historic Center of Florence and Accademia Gallery. Fabio was our guide who spoke perfect English, and had a good sense of humor and was knowledgeable about the history of Florence and the monuments and art that we saw on our walk and the gallery. I would recommend this tour highly to first time visitors of Florence.
Wonderful walking tour with Hilary!!
Very nice tour and wonderful guide who was attentive and very well informed Nice walk around the highlights of the city
Great tour with Emanuela! It was informational, entertaining and a great length.
We had the ultimate luck of other tourist canceling and ended up having me and my husband on an alone tour with an amazing guide. Her knowledge was good and she told us the most interesting things. This was truly an amazing experience today thanks to her 🙌🙏
An absolutely wonderful experience! Our guide was so fun and engaging! Alicia made the experience very memorable!
Great tour! Educational and enjoyable. Alicia from Spain was amazing!!
Our group was small, which was great for a relaxing evening. We had one wine stop, one olive oil stop, and then walked around town with our guide to some of the top areas. We learned about some history and enjoyed everyone company. We didn’t need headsets since it was only 4 of us and the guide, which was great! The wine was delicious, we had some photo stops, and a one of a kind olive oil tasting which we would not have thought to do otherwise.
The tour was enjoyable and the pace was good. However, the tour title gives you the impression that you would stop at more than just one wine window. We expected a couple of wine window visits. Samples would have been fine. Unfortunately, We spent half our tour getting an overview of olive oil production and sampling olive oil.
Very good information she was excellent and so was the company for helping us because in the morning we missed our tour of the Statue of David and they got us in at a later time same day. Thank you
Our tour guide was wonderful! Very informative in providing key specifics as well as quite funny. Highly recommend
Federico was a wonderful tour guide. We learned so much about Florence. We definitely recommend this tour
Maria Christina was a fantastic guide as she walked us around Florence. She has plenty of neat little stories and anecdotes and she moves at an easy pace - key for our 7 year old not getting exhausted. She’s really nice and even took us to her favorite cafe for a quick break. Would happily tour with her again!
Frederika was a great tour guide for our Florence walking tour. You can hear her passion for her city when she talks about it. She is very knowledgeable and took us to the important sites in Florence.
We learned so much and had a very nice time with Fredderica. She was amazing and very patient with our groups. My mother is old and had to walk slow but she was very aware and kept an excellent pace. I wish Fredderica the best from me and my family.
It was an excellent tour, despite the heat. The Tour Guide led us through the city and shared useful and historic information. Absolutely worth the money.
The tour was really entertaining. Chiara provided us with a lot of information about the city, its monuments and its buildings, but also about the people and their habits. We had a great time with her.
We did the Florence walk and talk tour. Our tour guide, Laura, was wonderful, full of very interesting information and knowledgeable when asked additional questions. It was a very enjoyable hour and a half.
the group was small - only 4 of us and the guide. We were taken to lots of places in Florence that we had not seen before, opening up new areas to explore with a lot of background information. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and made the tour informative and, more importantly, fun! Would recommend this tour as a great introduction to Florence.
The tour was amazing!! Our guide Maria was very friendly and knowledgeable about the city, providing many interesting anecdotes and insights into Florentine history. She was also very helpful in providing several recommendations for places to visit. A thoroughly enjoyable 90 minutes!
Our tour guide was a native Florentine. She was able to give us insights and tell us stories that only a local could do. She added a lot of her own personal experiences and was very informative. I thought she did a very good job.
We had a great walking tour with Greta around Florence and we (2 of us) were lucky enough to have herself to ourselves! She was knowledgeable, informative and gave us a great sense of Florentine history and culture. She also gave us some personal recommendations for buying gelato and having a meal - both of which were fabulous too. Thank you for showing us around.
A very knowledgeable and approachable guide with a lovely sense of humour. Laura had lots of information and stories to impart. We enjoyed the walk - and the gelato!
We enjoyed many aspects of the tour however I don’t understand why touring company with all kinds of tourists from all over the world would not have a restroom so that everyone would be prepared to do the walking for 2 1/2 hours? I think that’s a bit of an oversight and I recommend this to be remedied. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly after we advised her that we had already checked in for the tour. It wasn’t our best tour that we’ve been on since beginning our trip to Europe.
Excellent guide - great tour and very informative. Gave a great oversight of the highlights of Florence. Highly recommended.
Bad instructions for meeting up - bad customer service. I would not use this company again. No way to reach a live person. Tour guide was a no show.
Yulia was a fountain of knowledge about Florentine history. Take this tour before doing anything in Florence. You'll get a great overview of Florence's history & art AND you’ll receive an understanding of the city's layout. Well worth the price.
Laura was an exceptional guide. She is very knowledgeable and kept us entertained with the stories of this amazing city.
The tour was really nice! Our guide Yulia was lovely and very knowledgeable, really good story/history teller. Gelato was great!
Francesco was a wonderful guide. So knowledgeable and personable. The tour was a perfect way to begin exploring the beautiful city of Florence. And the gelato was amazing. Highly recommend!
We had an absolutely fantastic experience on the Florence Walk and Talk - On Medici's Footsteps tour. Our tour guide was not only friendly, fun, and informative, but also had impeccable English. After calling to confirm the meeting point, we were warmly greeted at their Hub before setting off on our adventure. Over the course of about 3 hours, the tour took us to every corner of the beautiful city of Florence. We learned about the rich history, captivating stories, vibrant culture, and stunning architecture that we would have otherwise missed out on. It was the perfect introduction to the city on our first day. I highly recommend this tour as a top priority for anyone visiting Florence. Additionally, the gelato stop was a major highlight for me. We were treated to two delicious scoops of gelato at a charming café, with flavors made from real coffee, fruits, and other high-quality ingredients. It was a divine treat that added an extra touch of magic to an already wonderful tour.
Easy pace but covered lots of interest. Marathon caused some tricky road crosses but not too much of a hassle. Learned history (both general and a few less known parts) and got orientation to the Downtown to wander later. Early start was refreshing and avoided bigger crowds later in day. The gelato stop a pleasant and timely moment.
Wondeful walking tour of Florence with Yulia. Highly recommend for your first or second morning of Florence, as it will add greatly to your appreciation of the streets you'll be wslking back and forth on for your stay and the remarkable history and context you might otherwise miss. Yulia was a fantastic guide and perfect tour leader. We would highly recommend. Florence is such a bustling city of tourists, lights and sound that having a tour of the downtown and history adds remarkably to the vacation, much like having a museum tour. We are so happy to have done this tour to start off our stay in Florence.
Really enjoyed Federica’s tour. She was very engaging and knowledgeable. Our only regret was doing the tour later in our stay. If we had done it upfront, it would have given us a bunch of great ideas of what to tour for the rest of our stay. Thank you Federica!
Our guide was great. We were all wired up with headphones and we could hear her clearly. She spoke excellent English. She gave a wonderful tour of the main sights of Florence as well as background and historical information along the way. Well worth the time and money.
Our guide Franscesca was brilliant! She gave all these little details we couldn't have known on our own.
This was one of the best walking tours I’ve done in the 14 months that I’ve been traveling. Giovanna is an extraordinary storyteller. The walk through the city was beautiful and fun. Highly recommend this tour.
It’s very useful to take a part in this walking tour upon your arrival. The guide was kind and it was informative.
Our guide was knowledgeable and easy to understand! This was a great way to orient ourselves in the historic part of the city.
Whilst the guide showed she could have bought een good, the level of detail was suitable for those who know little about history or Italy.we booked this as a Medici tour - asking who knows “what the capital of Italy “indicates the level expected. I don’t blame the guide - I think she know much more .I would have loved a better view of the Medicis. The guide is to be commended for the route she chose which left out some of the most over touristed areas of the city .
I had decided that a walking tour of Florence would be a great way to be introduced to the city and I chose the tour offered by Florencetown called "Florence Walk and Talk- on the Medici's Footsteps. Frederica was my guide and was both very personable and knowledgeable. Every time I asked her a question about anything that I saw as I walked, she could answer it in detail. At the same time, she was able to give me suggestions about eating and general information about staying in Florence. And being treated to gelato was like icing on the cake. I couldn't have asked for a better tour guide. Thank you, Frederica!
Really great tour. Very informative. Marta was so friendly and knowledgeable. Thoroughly recommend tour.
My tour guy Marta? was one of the best guides , I have ever had snd I have traveled extensively!! So knowledge but so much more than that Friendly approachable . Interesting and got the group involved She is a gem
Easy paced informative and enjoyable walking tour with a very friendly personable and humorous local tour guide.
