In love with this city we decide to abandon the famous “do it yourself” to rely on a local guide. As luck would have it, Maurizio, a special person, becomes our teacher for this visit. Punctual, prepared and of infinite delicacy. Understanding art with its dialectic skills also becomes fun, we have never had a moment of boredom or silence and we are delighted. We stayed Sunday morning, my girlfriend and I, at the Uffizi Gallery on a tour led by Maurizio, an exquisite person with great passion for his work. It made us jump back in time, telling us in a playful way how they could even talk and interact with each other the great Italian artists from 1200, until 1500. It was a beautiful morning, full of interesting anecdotes and much, much love for your city that is the master inside one of the most beautiful museums in the world. My boyfriend and I took advantage of a discount on Groupon to book this experience that turned out to be really nice and interesting. We spent a pleasant morning at the Uffizi with our guide, Maurizio, who was able to keep our interest and curiosity alive throughout the visit and who stayed with us even beyond the established time to complete the tour and this made us very pleased. Also there were only four of us, so visiting the Gallery in this way made the experience truly unique and exclusive. Highly recommended.
