Good bike for a one day adventure, easily even up to hill without gears. Good heavy lock, comfortable helmet and even small lights provided in case I would bike after sunset. Nice service in English.

Hired two city bikes for the day - both bikes in excellent condition and came with sturdy locks and helmets (if you wanted one) Staff really friendly and let us keep bikes right up to closing time at 7.30pm

Florence By Bike is the best place I found to rent road bikes for riding in Tuscany out of Florence. We were here for two months and we rented bikes multiple times. They have a large selection of bikes of all kinds (including e-bikes); we rented road (racing) bikes. Though I’d prefer to have had disc brakes rather than rim brakes, the bike fit was great, and their mechanic Massimo was very friendly and helpful. They were flexible on pickup/return times (open 8am-1pm and 3:30pm-7pm; closed Sundays, at least for now). Even though the shop looks small from the street, it is large and has a variety of equipment and accessories.

Well maintained bikes, awesome selection and shop! Staff are friendly and accommodating. This was our second rental from them and it was just as great as we remembered. We rented two city bikes and one children’s bike for our daughter for the full day. There were no issues, locks and helmet provided. Thank you! We will be back!

Very friendly and helpful staff. The woman in the shop was also sharing her tips on where to go bicycling in Florence and Tuscany. We rented a track bike but was offered to use a city bike for the day in Florence, and then pick up the track bike in the afternoon. The bicycles were in a good condition and good to ride. Excellent experience, highly recommended!

This is an excellent shop with a good selection of road bikes for rent and friendly and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended. NB I had a Giant TCR for 2 days and rode around the Florence region. Not to be missed!

Went to this store looking for a bike I could rent for an entire day. The staff was knowledgeable and kind, and made my day adventure possible and enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Online rental was simple and everything was ready when we arrived at the shop. Bikes were in excellent condition, they got our pedals on, gave us a repair kit, double checked the bike adjustments for each of us and we were on our way. Bought some jerseys to remember our trip. The countryside around Florence is amazing. Look forward to renting from them again to explore even more. No surprises, only smiles!!!!!

They provide top service. We booked 2x bikes for 1 day; unfortunately entire day rain forecast. The super nice administration lady there enabled us to switch booking day flexible to the next day. She could have demanded us to take the bikes at the rain day; as I asked for rescheduling too late; which she did not do. We had 2x E-Bikes, they were great to cycle all around Florence. I would definitely book again there.

We so much enjoyed exploring Florence and the surrounding area by bicycle. Thank you for the welcoming feel and ready suggestions for routes to try. I never felt rushed or that I was asking a silly question. The whole experience in the shop was professional but also friendly and casual. This is so important. I ride bikes all the time and have been in many shops where I have been made to feel I am taking up too much time, my questions are annoying or that I should make my decisions quickly. This detail of patience alone is worthy of note, but it was clear the equipment was in good order and the bike mechanics well-versed in their trade as well: Professional, clean and well-organized. The crew listened well to what we were hoping for, (to get out of the city a bit but with not too much hill climbing) and mapped out our route clearly while we watched. Again, I felt I was given time to understand the map and route and felt confident and empowered when we embarked upon our adventure. The bikes were comfortable and well-maintained. My partner got a flat along the river, (perhaps because of the rocky ground) but we had been equipped with a replacement tube and were able to change the tire without too much trouble.

The staff is rude, dishonest and especially aggressive with customers. They wouldn't give me the child seat even though I had paid an extra 3€. They got angry before realizing their mistake They accused me of having lost the keys to the lock when they had forgotten to give them to me (although I returned to the store 2 minutes after leaving). There are other bike rental companies on the street. Don't waste your money with this shop

Great shop - Lia was really helpful in recommending a route and they had a nice bike all tuned and ready to ride. They were very knowledgeable on the area, had nice bikes and were just plain nice all around. Highly recommend.

Great bike rental shop and excellent bikes. We rented city bikes for our family of four and had a great day in Florence and it’s surroundings. We mainly used the bike lanes in Florence, which was great. The people at Florence by bike were very friendly and helpful and spoke English very well.

Feel free to use bicycles and scooters to visit Florence. Everything is done for cyclists and motorists are bike friendly. It is very nice and very pleasant. Congratulations to the city for this initiative!

Renting a city bike, we went out of Florence to avoid the tourist side a bit. Five hours is good, and very good Price quality ratio.

Very Good Welcoming, the bikes were quality. We gave all the information. The staff were very attentive. If there were more choices in e-bike would have been great.

We took two bikes to rent for a three-day tour of Florence. The staff was friendly, helpful and very professional. Great advice on what to see and proposals on very interesting alternative itineraries! Prices are competitive, I would say.
