Our guide was very knowledgeable. She adjusted pace to reflect our age. One of our group had been taken ill and she gave good guidance on how to get support. A really enjoyable tour that met and exceeded all our expectations.

Olga was our tour guide. She was very informative. We enjoyed learning about the history of Florence and how the Medici family was a huge part of its success. We also were able to learn about some areas of Florence that were not typical tourist areas. It really brought the city to life.
Olga was a great tour guide! She took us around all the places and explained everything in good detail and history. Thank you, Olga.
Olga was an amazing tour guide. She was very knowledgeable about the history of places, and explained everything in so much detail. She helped to take great pictures of us while taking care of our belongings, helped us to find public washrooms along the way, and also was flexible with the tour start time when we were running late. Thank you, Olga!
I spent a lovely day with Olga on a private tour. It was very informative and full of interesting facts. Olga is very knowledgeable.
We booked a private tour with Olga and it was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our trip to Florence. Olga is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the city's history, art, and culture. She didn't just recite facts; she brought the stories of Florence to life. Beyond the history of the sites, she was more than happy to answer all our random questions about Florence and gave us great context about the city that you wouldn't get from a guidebook. Highly recommend booking with her if you want a deep dive into Florence!
Olga was an amazing guide. She was extremely knowledgeable about the city and you could tell from the information she shared that she truly loves what she does. She took time to explain each site while providing additional interesting facts and small details that we would have missed on our home. I plan on recommending her to friends that visit city.
Olga offers so much information making the experience feel like you are living in the historic moments. She offers details about the people, places and times effortlessly while injecting humor. We totally recommend having her guide you through this beautiful city!
Fabulous insight into the history and the current little things one would never see without a guide. I would definitely recommend
If you are looking for a Self Guided Tour that allows you the freedom to do what you want when you want it then this is it. If you are looking for lots of details that are spoon fed to you every step of the way then this is NOT for you! Moreover, the initial host were very detailed in their explanation and were always available during the self guided tour to point us in the right direction. You absolutely do not have to wait in lines though you will need to anticipate loads of people next to you. On a final note - we looked at oura ring after completing the three tours of the Coliseum, Forum and the hill and it was over 14000 steps. My ankles hurt and my feet were exhausted but all worth the experience. Dont miss the spectacular view of the entire city from the very top of the hill next to the gardens. Enjoy!
Our guide Olga was excellent. We could not have asked for a better guide. She knew the history and really enjoyed her job. She was also very accommodating when we were late.
Olga was terrific! Very knowledgeable, told us lots of stories and the history of the city. She had an iPad to show us some visuals which was helpful. She also contacted us right before the meeting and was very considerate of some of our needs to stop (sunscreen, water, etc). I would recommend her.
It was a wonderful experience. Olga was very knowledgeable and passionate about the history and art of Florence. It was evident that she knows really a lot. Highly recommended!
We had an absolutely wonderful walking tour of Florence. Olga was knowledgeable and personable and we were able to get a real sense of the city in just 3 hours. We had already seen the Duomo the day prior but Olga was able to quickly adjust our schedule and show us some unplanned attractions. Would definitely recommend this tour and Olga to anyone looking for an introduction to all Florence has to offer.
Our tour of Florence was greatly enriched by having Olga as our tour guide. We learnt a great deal about the city’s history. Olga is a wonderful storyteller who brings the history to life with her knowledge and passion. She is very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this tour.
Great guide who made so much of the beauty come to life! So much to see. Great guide makes a big difference in understanding what is in front of you!
Olga led an enjoyable 3-hour private walking tour of Florence for a small group of 3. She was knowledgeable and provided interesting anecdotes and kept things moving well! She provided headsets which helped us not miss a thing when we were in busy areas. We saw many must-see sites and enjoyed entrance into the Santa Maria Novella Pharmacy. She also gave us key insights into which museums she recommended we return to (eg, Medici Chapels and Santa Croce). Enjoyed it!
We learned so much on our private walking tour with Olga. She conveyed so much history in a storytelling way. A private walking tour was a fabulous choice given the crowds in Florence!
olga was the perfect guide. her knowledge of the city and the little city secrets was 2nd to none. i had a grand time and would absolutely book eith her again.
Olga gave us an informative tour all over the old town Firenze. Do yourself a favor and take a tour from someone with so much local knowledge as well as the ability to explain the rich history of Firenze. Thanks Olga👍
We had a lovely tour with Olga. She showed us around town and her passion was palpable. She was very easy to understand; sometimes non-English speakers speaking English is tough, but she was very clear and easy to understand. We had a great time with her, and we even saw her a few days later in a museum and she remembered us and waved. She has been one of the better tour guides during our many week trip throughout Italy.
Great three hour walking tour with Olga which covered everything from general Renaissance history to quirky Florentine stories. Covered all of the major sites and then some.
This was my first time in Italy and first time 121 tour with the guide and Olga delivered! Tour was fantastic! Olya tailored tour upon my request (places, history and spilling all the tea on Medici) and gave me great tips on museums/shops/further travel tips. Thank you Olya❤️ And my advice, get tour on tour first days of staying in Florence. Further on its going to be easier to move around the city
An enormous thanks to Olga for a great tour in Florence. We really really enjoyed it and learned a lot about Medici family.
We had a pleasure of having Olga as our tour guide for a walking tour of Florence. We had our 11 year old twin boys with us and everyone enjoyed the pace and content of the tour. Olga is very punctual, responsive, and flexible. She kept us all entertained and provided information in an interesting manner. Highly recommend!
Olga was excellent! My family and I really enjoyed her tour. It was informative and kept my teenage daughters interested as well.
Olga was an amazing guide so knowledgeable and very helpful! I would highly recommend her. She had so much background history and interesting stories to tell.
My friend and I are from Canada & Australia. We met to experience Florence for my friend’s birthday this weekend. We had been to Florence before and wanted a walking tour of the important sites after a busy museum tour this morning. Olga was punctual, friendly, well prepared, and augmented her lively stories with photos on her iPad. She chose popular topics (eg the Medici dynasty) but also used interesting backgrounds/descriptions/stories that we had not heard before. To our delight, Olga also took us to what felt like ‘behind the scenes’ locations which were on paths less travelled. The perfumery was a true highlight for our olfactory nerve. We are already planning a return trip to buy some candles. At hour 2 of our 3 hour tour, we initiated having a drink at an outdoor cafe. We highly recommend taking this kind of break. We loved sharing this ‘tea time’ with Olga which served to hear more Florence stories. Not only was Olga a great tour guide but she went beyond and assisted us to make a dinner reservation at one of her favourite ‘local’ restaurant for my friend’s birthday. In summary, Olga is an excellent tour guide of Florence, Italy. We highly recommend her. NOTE: I was silly and used a backpack to keep my wallet (no credit cards) and was pickpocketed) so BE CAREFUL. I was not careful in the busy square outside the Uffizi museum. Keep your wallet safe!
The Walking Tour with Olga was absolutely fabulous. She was excellent at being a teacher/educator of Florence history instead of someone who only recites 'the facts'. She was very engaging and answered all questions with depth that gave the whole experience a new level of understanding. Olga was patient and made sure all in our group had their questions answered before moving on to the next location. She was more concerned about us and our learning than racing through the tour to keep a schedule. I highly recommend Olga in Florence and look forward to taking other tours with her.
All around there were interesting knowledge to be gained and interesting stories to keep the tour exciting. We were thrilled to listen to our guide.
Olga was at the meeting point several minutes early and introduced to us. She was very professional in manner and dress and quickly engaged with us in her clear, precise and interesting description of the various points of interest during the walk. The 3 hour tour was also interspersed with stories and historical facts that opened our eyes to the city and the time passed quickly, almost with us asking for more.
Olga is very knowledgeable and has a great insight into the history and beauty of Florence. We were able to cover quite a bit in the time allotted. Highly recommend this tour.
We had the BEST experience with Olga showing us all the beautiful and historical places around the city. She was able to show us things that we typically wouldn’t know to see and they history was fantastic. She knew every little detail and it truly was such a wonderful part of our day. She is very easy to spend time with and we enjoyed every bit of this tour. Thank you Olga!!
My husband and I had a great experience with Olga during our walking tour in the center of Florence. Olga is a highly knowledgeable guide who loves the city history and architecture. I spent the morning on a lovely tour with Olga. Having been to Florence before, over the years, i found the tour to be refreshing and new. We visited new places that I had never seen and old places with a new eye. The walk was well thought out with and Olga was extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour!!
Excellent way to explore Florence Our guide Olga was very professional and enthusiastic, so we spent very interesting and enjoyable three hours in her company. Highly recommend her!
My boyfriend and I were in Florence for the second time and we decided it wasn't a good idea to explore this city, full of art and history, on our own, so we booked a walking tour with a guide. There aren't enough words to describe how great it was. Olga is a storyteller from God. We wanted to listen to her forever. I had the feeling that history came alive in front of me. As Olga's stories about the famous Medici family, their ups and downs, about what Florence was like before and after them, brought me back to the 14th and 15th centuries. And how many secret symbols are hidden in the city! Definitely you can’t find this information in a guidebook. We fell in love with this city, its streets, its way of life, its stories, and all thanks to her, Olga, a person who loves Florence, this pearl of Italy, and is ready to share this love with everyone!
Our tour with Olga was fantastic! She was very knowledgeable and passionate about Florence, especially about its history. We learnt so much about this amazing city and the three hours passed really quickly. Highly recommend!
Olga was incredibly informative and knowledgeable. It was like getting a history lesson along with seeing the sights. Besides, I really appreciate Olga’s attention to details which are very interesting and unique in Florence. Would definitely do it again!

Our guide Olga was really great! Her tour was very informative, we learned a lot about the history of Florence. Olga is a great story teller and for sure she is passionate about her job. We highly recommend her!
Amazing walking tour with insightful history and stories. Highly recommend this walking tour experience.
The walking tour of Florence with Olga Emchenko was an excellent learning and entertaining experience about the history of Florence. Olga was very professional, interesting and explained the various sites so everyone could understand. She answered questions promptly and without hesitation. As a retired teacher I was impressed with how well the tour was organized in an educational and engaging experience so that we kept a normal pace. Some tour guides 'rush' their participants as fast through the tour so they can get to the next tour. Olga did not do this as she wanted to make sure all of us had our questions answered to our satisfaction. I will take more tours with Olga the next time I go to Florence and highly recommend her without hesitation.
Olga- the guide who took us around Florence- is absolutely fantastic. It’s not only her extensive knowledge of the place, its history makes the tour great, but the way she tells the story: very relatable to our modern life, with personal touch and humour. Would highly recommend her to anyone visiting Florence or its museums as a guide. Little tip: if you are visiting Florence in hot months. We booked our tour for a late afternoon-4:00pm and it worked well for us.
Our visit to Florence was marked with incredibly interesting and very informative excursions with Olga - a guide in Florence. Olga is a highly intelligent person, with an amazing sense of humour. Magical, charming, mysterious Florence seemed closer and more understandable to us during our walking tour. I wanted to listen and listen to Olga again and again. Olga brings your attention to small, but very much important details, which help to understand better the magic attraction of Florence. I would recommend everyone who is going to visit Florence to get a tour with Olga, and if I ever have a chance to revisit Florence, I will book definitely an excursion with Olga again.
Olga is passionate about Florence and its history and shares a wealth of information on her tours. She is very pleasant and personable
Olga was a very good guide, very informed, pleasant and clear in her explanations. The tour was the right one to get to know Florence and the Medici dynasty. Highly recommended.
