Small tour group of 3-4 couples was perfect! Tour guide’s (Elana) english was spot on and she was very articulate, humorous and engaging. Hard to believe she is a local 🙂

Great tour guide, with a wealth of information. Highly recommend for everybody. Great experience for all
Being able to skip the line and see David first thing in the morning was a total game changer. We beat the crowds and got to stand and take pictures right under him! It was a once in a lifetime experience I’ll never forget. Our tour guide Elena was a Florentine local and had a degree in art history. She took us to all the important and historic sites in the city and explained the significance of everything. We ended the day at The Uffizi where Elena guided us through important works from Giotto, Botticelli, Michelangelo, Leonardo & Raphael. I work at The Metropolitan Museum of Art and had a lot of in depth questions that she was more than happy to answer. This was a great way to see the city. 10/10 tour. 10/10 tour guide
Incredible day trip exploring Florence history, tour was highly educational and so much fun! Our tour guide was so knowledgeable on the Renaissance artwork and culture.
A fantastic tour with superb commentary and insight from our guide, Becky. It is the guide that brings life to the tour and I would highly recommend this tour. Bellissimo !!!!
My husband and I had a great experience on our walking tour of Florence with Walks Devour Tours. We had a small tour group with about 10 people, which is a good size, so everyone can easily see and hear the tour guide. We were also provided with listening devices, so we can easily follow along with what the tour guide said, even if we weren’t standing right next to the tour guide. Our guide Marzia A. is an excellent tour guide. She is very knowledgeable about the history of Florence and about the famous artworks and artists in the Gallerie dell’ Accademia and Uffizzi Gallerie (two must-see museums). Her English is fluent enough for everyone to understand what she was saying. She managed the tour at a good pace and she made sure everyone in the tour group stayed together, even when certain places were very crowded. About halfway through the tour, Marzia took us to a small local gelato shop (Carabe Firenze) for some authentic gelato and fresh made-to-order cannoli. That was a special treat after walking around town on a warm day in October. I highly recommend Walks Devour Tours and tour guide Marzia A if you’re looking for a great half day tour experience in Florence, Italy.
This was a very insightful walking tour of the city of Florence. It touched on the highlights of the art in the museums so we could learn a lot without having to guess which pieces were significant as there is a TON of art and navigating it alone would have been tough. Our guide was so friendly and helpful!
Laura did a great job. She presented the information in an understandable format. Her English was excellent. It was alot of information to remember.
Great way to see a lot in a short amount of time! Great guide! We liked the small group to keep the pace easily! Super knowledgeable guide!
This was a good tour, but personal preference had us duck out early in the gallery. We wanted to explore and hit the highlights. 5 hours was too long for us
Fantastic way to view the city of Florence. Our guide, Nepo (?) was exceptional in his knowledge and delivery. Well paced and full of local insight.
Excellent tour and our guide was amazing. He is an artist and was extremely knowledgeable. It was exciting to see the masterpieces in Florence.
Long day, but checks off the important boxes if you’re short on time. Very informative - lots of history and beautiful art. Our guide was terrific - art history major and definitely loved his work.
This an opportunity to see many of the most beautiful sites in Florence. This tour gives you the opportunity to skip long lines and explore many different places.
That it encompasses the most important things you need to see in Florence in a few hours. You could spend days going through the whole Academia and Uffizi gallery, which Giuliana did wonderfully for us. We were lucky to have her be our guide.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and super nice but she provided way too much information. The minutia became monotonous after a few hours so we left the tour early and set out on our own.
We had a great tour guide that was very knowledgeable. She provided insight and a lot of information about everything we saw on the tour. Being able to skip the line at the Academe and the Uffizi was well worth the cost. It is a lot of time on your feet but you do get an hour lunch break. I would have liked more time with our guide in the Uffiziz but overall the experience was a highlight of our trip.
Such an informative tour. The small group tour is definitely worth it.. Be prepared for a full day of walking and learning. There was a perfectly timed break in the middle too.
The tour guide was amazing, highly recommend her. Very informative and well balanced tour. Be prepared a lot of walking
Jessica did an excellent job! Very personable and very knowledgeable! I would highly recommend this tour!
Stefano was amazing! We got a collegiate art history lesson. He really knew his stuff and taught us how to distinguish between the periods.
What an excellent tour! Angelo made history come alive, with his interesting facts and vivid explanations, the tour flew by as we walked through this amazing city. The tour passes through the main sights of the city, but it doesn't feel rushed at all. Definitely worth the money as you can start to understand the city on a deeper level
Stephanie was knowledgeable, courteous, and a fantastic tour leader. She gave us a perfect must do (showing us everything we wanted to see) in Florence experience as well. She was very accommodating to us. Highly recommend!
Very informative. Love the insight into the art and history of Florence. Our guide was very informative and interesting. A very valuable experience!
Stefano’s tour was very informative. He gave interesting facts of cities, facts, and history. Answered questions and meet all our needs. Enjoyed it the tour very much.
This was well organized and thoughtfully executed. Our guide Matthieu was so knowledgeable and passionate to share the history of the museums and art we saw.
This was the best tour I've ever taken! The guide Angelo was extremely knowledgeable and hilarious at the same time! If you come to Florence this is a 100% a must!
A grand and exceptional tour of part of a great! city! Matt was brilliant, accommodating, and knowledgeable. We learned a ton in the 3 hours plus the 1 hour for lunch. I was displeased about the price however, it was quite expensive for the number of people involved (at least 18) and some folks got lost along the way. I was expecting a more “intimate” tour for the price… but not Matt’s fault.
This is a long walking tour of the essential sites in Florence. If you only have one full day in Florence, this is worth it!
A lot in a day!! Perfect for a short visit. I left Florence feeling like I saw the highlights. Skip the line entry to the museums is the way to go! We saw lines that wrapped around for blocks!
The tour guide was exceptional! I learned so much information and enjoyed the tour. The tour was better than I had expected.
Our guide was very knowledgeable about the sites and the stories and history behind them. He tied them together with a historical theme of the time period which brought the experience more to life.
Our experience was enhanced by the fact that our tour guide (Costanza) had extensive art history knowledge and was a Florence local. It was an amazing and informative tour!
Our guide was very informative and knew his subject very well After the Uffizi gallery there was a 45 minute pause before going into the Academy to see the sculpture of David. This pause was unnecessary and it would have been better to go directly to the Academy. Walking from the Duomo to Uffizi and the over 2 hours in the museum was a lot for us older folks and would have preferred to eat lunch and relax after the tour
Chiara was fun, and very knowledgeable! She made art history come alive and efficiently led us through crowded galleries.
A great way to experience Florence! The tour expertly combined visits to the Accademia and Uffizi with an educational walking journey through this beautiful city. Our guide made history come alive, sharing insights that transformed my understanding of art and architecture. From Michelangelo's David, to the majestic Duomo, and the priceless works of art every moment was captivating. I couldn’t ask for a better way to explore Florence’s rich Renaissance heritage. A huge thank you to Regina for this unforgettable experience! Couldn’t have asked for a better guide!
Our guide was very knowledgeable and cheerful. Great tour, would recommend this to visitors!!!!!!!!!
Regina was so passionate and knowledgeable about everything she was showing us. It was great to learn the importance and significance of the beautiful art work and sculptures. Be prepared to stand and walk for the entire 5 hours. Great tour! Grazie Regina
Great guide who was very knowledgeable of the city and the arts. We got a lot in the day and appreciate everything she did to make us feel welcome.
Great tour of the city and a ton of information about the artwork, the history, the architecture and the people. Laura, our guide, was a walking encyclopedia. Very informative and entertaining.
Accessible and knowledgeable guide. Tour meeting point was easy to find. Lots of good local information
Our tour guide, Ishmael was very good. He explained many of the paintings and sculptures to us so we could truly appreciate them.
This 13 hr tour (I know they advertise 12 hrs, but it's actually closer to 13 hrs), is off exceptional value for the price that you pay. Lunch is included. I came solo to the tour, but quickly bonded with a friendly lady from San Fran. The weather was exceptionally good (not overly warm or muggy). The bus was comfortable with gentle AC (enough to feel it, but not unbearably chilly). I enjoyed going into these smaller cities. It feels like a more authentic Italian experience than my entire stay in Florence. The highlight was our lunch outdoors at a communal table. Food was exceptionally fresh! Miri, our travel guide is a real gem. She is articulate, charismatic, and personable! Her Italian is easy on the ears. Since she is a native Italian, it made the experience all the more authentic! If you are lucky enough to get Miri as a tour guide, you won't be disappointed!
The tour was really good. Our guide, Annette, was excellent! I would highly recommend it if you don’t have a lot of time in Florence. It was a great way to see the highlights of Florence. My only complaint is the confusion of going through Viator. The email said we had to download a pdf and take it to an office to get our official ticket. We spent awhile looking for the office. We never found it and went on to the meeting spot which is what we should have done in the first place. It was confusing and a bit stressful.
Lily and Christine are excellent
We so enjoyed our tour with Alesia. She too us to see David at the Accademia, highlights at the Uffizi and walked us around the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio. She was so informative and very professional - guiding us through the crowds. We learned so much and appreciate the treasures in Florence ever so much!!
Our guide was very knowledgeable about all the art and moved the tour along quickly, we were able to see so much in the 4.5 hours and even got to have lunch in one of the squares. Would highly recommend this tour.
Valentina gave a nice tour. Saw the Uffizi Gallery and Dsvid at the Accademia. Web site says would visit Ponte Vecchio but we did not, saw it from the Uffizi. You cover lots of ground and have to stand for quite a while.
Stephanie was an outstanding tour guide! She had interesting facts on the city and on the art while we waited
Annette was a truly amazing guide! Very knowledgeable and filled in with wonderful details throughout the journey
