Florence Guided Bike Tour To Piazzale Michelangelo

go early less crowded streets- parts were quite harrowing with pedestrians motorcycles cars and other cyclists- tour was 2 hrs all around the city of Florence-

Luigi was a great guide, extremely knowledgeable about the history of the area. First time on an e-bike and it was great fun.

I made the tour with Rebecca and it was fantastic, she is vey kind and friendly and tells everything in a very pleasant way, in addition you can enjoy the views riding a bike without be tired! I recommend this.

Fantastic experience. Our guide was brilliant ( forgot name but tour was 2/6/2025). We went out of Florence city into the suburbs with stunning views of the city from above. Bikes were well maintained and easy to ride.

It’s a fun way to see the sights and you cover way more ground than walking. Unfortunately the sound system for hearing the guide is not great

Started out slow but was really great got to check out some hidden favorite places suggested by our guide. There was a bit of confusion at the beginning (I dont think our guide mentioned his name because other folks were arguing over who got an e-bike or not) we were told we got an upgrade (but we didn’t) it’s fine everyone got a bike and to be fair: some folks looked like they needed E-assist. Our guide took us to see lots of different places and points of historical interest on both sides of the Arno. The none- E bikes are the funky beach cruiser 3 speed bikes that locals use to commute. Nothing fancy. No helmets necessary or required. Lots of stopping g and starting

A waste of money, why... First of all, the groups are too large, there were 15 of us in total and despite the transmitter the guide could not be heard. Secondly, he constantly shouts attention but does not pay attention to the group members. we regularly stood at a red light, and he just drove on without waiting for us. I could go on like this for a while, but the worst was yet to come. One of us had an empty battery after an hour, and some of us lost the group. Of course the guide did not realize this and we eventually drove back to the rental with the help of Google Maps. No one wanted to take responsibility and in the end we got money back for 3 people. and yes, that guide, of course, did not take responsibility for anything, not even the word sorry came out of his mouth. So give this a wide berth unless you like throwing money away...

Literally a bike ride up a hill. Great view at top. Navigating through the crowds when leaving the meeting point is very tricky, especially if you have not ridden a bike in awhile. A number of people were having difficulty. Way overpriced.

Great guide. Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic Saw parts of Florence that you wouldn’t see on foot

The start wasn't promising, I was given a headset and told that our guide would find us. The guides had no identification, like company t-shirts, so it was confusing and took a while to find our group and a bike. We are experienced cyclists, but there was no direction given to anyone in the group, some if whom seemed more inexperienced. The guide himself, Bessi, was relaxed and helpful on the route, and was very informative about the city, and we enjoyed the ride overall. Next time I would probably pay more and book a private ride or choose a more organized company.

Almost hitting a pedestrian because my e bike kept driving although I wanted to stop. My girlfriends bike had no brake because they OILED the disk brakes WTF?!? The tour guide had 0 additional information and just showing the buildings - telling their names. No background stories no fun facts, nothing. Tour guide was riding through red lights and told us not to stick to her. Of course part of the group got lost. We have joined bike tours in other cities and this was the worst so far…

I enjoyed riding the e-bikes which allowed us to navigate the city quickly but I felt this tour moved too fast and there wasn't much opportunity to stop and take photos. It was difficult to take in what the guide was saying whilst trying to keep up and avoid traffic/pedestrians and I felt it was difficult to understand the guide at times because it was done with wireless audio. The guide was often far ahead of most of the group and it seemed safety wasn't too much of a concern. Overall it was enjoyable enough but I could have rented a bike myself and had a similar experience.

This was a e-bike tour. It shold be told in the info of the tour. Nice to get up to the hills though and see the view. My e- bike didnt work, so I had do it manually to the hills. The tourguide was ok, but not very passioned about what he had to share.

Loved the experience! Our tour guide Pamela was amazing! 😍 Explained everything in detail and took us to some hidden spots in the city. She also recommended extra activities. Overall a great experience! Si hablan español aun mejor! Pamela Murga 100% recommended 🤩

The tourist experience is very exceptional and very fun, my friends and I had a lot of fun and the streets of Florence are really beautiful, the weather was the best to go for a walk.

It was a nice bike ride with lots of interesting information about the city. Cycled past the highlights where we also got info. The viewpoint was also very nice. A guide who knew how to tell a lot!

The idea of doing the tour with the ebike would have been a good idea because we were able to see Florence from above going to Piazza Michelangelo but the Guide Andrea made it bad when he was unempathetic, bored and hasty.

Bon guide, on a dû ajuster les vélos plusieurs fois, siège et la roue qui bouge vraiment en descendant les côtes. En plus, on a du changer notre heure car une erreur dans la réservation d’après le fournisseur. Mais, nous avons aimé notre tour. Le fait d’être allé à la place de Michel Ange était super.

Met onze gids Dimitri een mooie fietstour door Florence gemaakt. Alle hoogtepunten aangedaan en zeker het uitzicht vanaf piazzale Michelangelo over de stad was top! Mooie verhalen over de geschiedenis van Florence en het ontstaan van Italië. Dimitri grazie mille!

The bike tour was great. We saw a lot of Florence in a short time. Unfortunately it rained very heavily at some point. Nevertheless, the tour was carried out professionally and our concerns were addressed (to visit one or the other of the shelters). We took a lot of art historical knowledge as well as general facts about Florence 😊. We would definitely recommend this tour 👌.

Esperienza molto interessante e soprattutto guida gentile e professionale... punteggio basso per l'organizzazione. Avevamo prenotato il tour per le 11:30 abbiamo aspettato fino alle 12:15 per ricevere la notizia che la guida non si era presentata alla prenotazione e abbiamo dovuto posticipare il tour alle 13:30 con una nuova guida.

Une manière très sympa de visiter florence en famille. Cela permet de quitter le centre ville rapidement et facilement et de monter un peu sur les hauteurs de la ville ( notamment sur la place Michel Angelo !!!) Le guide était très sympa. Nous avons juste trouvé que ça manquait un peu d'explication et d'anecdotes historiques... On aurait aimé en apprendre davantage sur cette ville incroyable !

It was an indescribably beautiful experience. Julia explained the Florentine story to us in a nice way. Through the 2 hour Cycling tour we have seen the most beautiful places. We definitely recommend the bike tour.
