Florence Golf Cart: Michelangelo Square & Fiesole's Roman Theatre

My wife & I are 80 yrs old and for us the best way to start our short stay in Florence. Wonderful tour to get acquainted with City of Florence - its landscape and layout and to orient yourself with the location of various historical sites. Golf carts are not allowed into the City Center, so this is a perimeter tour, but take you to high elevations for great views & pics. The key is the guide, and ours was great. Ayman (sp?) was terrific. He is a graduate student, from Tunisia. Personable, attentive, very informative, and spoke fluent English as well Italian, French, and Arabic. Highly recommend him.

Our guide was amazing. He was full of knowledge about the history of Florence. He is enthusiastic about the information he has to share. We highly recommend him and this tour.

Alex was the best guide anyone could wish for when creating unforgettable memories in a spectacular city such as Florence. He made us feel like family, shared his love and passion for this magnificent cradle of the Rennaissance, while navigating narrow streets and busy traffic. It has been the highlight of our trip to see Florence through Alex' eyes. We will be forever grateful for this beautiful journey. He showed us things we never would have found otherwise.

overall a very good experience. aldo was knowledgeable and charming, my only complaints are that he was giving us 30 min to take pics at the Michealangelo plaza which needed like 5 min. also brought us into a jewelry store and got us kind of stuck with a sales person, chewing up some valuable tour time. meanwhile, did not take us to ponte vechio (we walked over later) and wonder if we couldn't get a glimpse of the bobili gardens too. overall good, but could have and should have been better. best part was he jumped the line to get us affogato (sorry for spelling), which was amazing. i would recommend to a friend but would do a bit more research to make sure you get the best guide available

It is 95 degrees. ALL the roads are bumpy and sidewalks have potholes that can swallow a cat. The hills are to too many count. Tourists as far as the eye can see. Now try and juggle a nine year old and two nearly octogenarian parents through that. Take the private golf cart tour and thank me later.

We had a great experience and as some of us had some mobility issues this was a fantastic way to see Florence. Sebastian the guide was great fun and very knowledgeable on all the history of the beautiful City of Firenze

Our guide Emil was very nice but the price is too high for what you get. There are a few recorded explanations that are played for some of the museums, bridges, etc., but otherwise it’s just a drive around the city with little information about what you are seeing. Felt disorganized. I would not recommend it.

A great trip with Alix. He is very knowledgeable about all things Florentine. The private tour was super flexible and he clued us into a s-out for great pizza.

A group of 8 of us did the 4 hour golf cart tour of Florence and it was an excellent experience! It’s a great way to see so much in one day. The tour guides also know where to find the best street food and incorporate stops only locals would know about. It was also a good choice on a rainy day because it’s covered and they also have the ability to zip it so you don’t get wet. Highly recommend!!

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful !!! Would recommend for a quick orientation to the city. They get around the restricted streets very easily.

There were thunderstorms all day and when it stopped for a few minutes you thought maybe it’s done,…..but no. All that being said, out tour guide Olga remained positive with high energy and more details about each area then we expected. She/we wouldn’t let the rain stop us and we had a great time and all got very wet. We zipped around seeing so many sites while others struggles walking through the rain.

Olga was our tour guide and was absolutely the best. She was very knowledgeable about all aspects of Florence - history , current events ,etc. Very professional with a great personality , she actually took us to a first class leather store where we bought some really nice items , all hand made in Italy. Never would have seen all the things we saw without her. It's definitely worth the money. 100 % recommend. Florence is a beautiful city with tons of history. No matter how long you are here for this tour is worth it.

First time visiting Florence and we were overwhelmed with the beauty and charm of the city. Golf cart tour was amazing!! Charlie our guide was out of this world, knowledge and friendliness were 10 out of 10!!

The tour guide, Aldo, was extremely inappropriate in his presentation around the beautiful city of Florence. He made racist, sexist, religious, and political comments that were offensive to us all. He sat in the golf cart as we toured various locations and didn’t provide commentary but left us to our own devices. This was an expensive tour that should have been filled with insider knowledge to enhance our trip and it fell far short. We would not recommend this excursion.

Aldo was informative, fun, and tried to fit in everything we could!! Such a wonderful tour!! Loved it!

Our guide was very nice. We had difficulty understanding her English. Many questions could not be answered. But the tour itself is a great introduction into the landmarks and history of Florence. We were thankful not walking so much.

We loved this tour! By doing this as a private tour, we were able to cut short the stops that didn’t interest us, and extend the stops that did. Our guide was great about adjusting to our interests. I’d been to Florence before, but our guide offered some new historical facts that I hadn’t heard before. Highly recommend!

Sebastian is a terrific guide. We had a wonderful tour yesterday seeing most of Florence from the affluent to the middle class areas. Florence is soaked in history and that was communicated during our tour. We had several great photo opportunities.

We had an incredible time on our tour with Francesco!!! It was one of the best and most entertaining tours we have ever been on and it was a blast from beginning to end! Francesco taught us so much about the city and we got to learn about his family and life in Florence as well. We also got introduced to some fabulous disco music! We love you Francesco!

Luca was fantastic on this private tour, he has a genuine love for the city and his passion came across. We were only in Florence for a brief time and this allowed us to see this beautiful city in a short time.

Wonderful guide who took great care in showing us the outer to inner sections of Florence and how they were tied together. All stops were explained and we were given ample opportunity to explore.

Aldo was a great guide and was a talented driver expertly navigating through the narrow Florence streets. He stopped the right amount of times and showed us some special places that we probably would have missed on our own! The gelato stop hit the spot!

Our guide, Vanessa, was absolutely wonderful. I know that she guides tours almost every day during high tourist season, but her warmth and enthusiasm made us feel like she was experiencing the beauty of Florence with us for the very first time. She and our driver were professional and kind. This was the perfect way to see many of the most important sights in an easy and relaxed way. 100% recommend! Worth every penny, ESPECIALLY if there are people on your trip who are not able to do much walking.

Vanessa and her colleague were great. She was extremely informative of every landmark and even went out of her way to help us make a dinner reservation. No better way to see all the main sites!

Rodrigo did a great job explaining all the sights for us to see. He took extra time for us to go inside several churches and made sure we knew the history behind what we were seeing. Overall, an excellent way to see the the city if you have limited time.

Luca made this a great tour. Although concerned at first that audio was difficult to hear due to vehicle noise behind us & plexiglass between driver & passengers, our driver, Luca, was skilled, friendly, patient & knowledgeable. We covered the best sites with minimal effort on our part!

Ben, our tourguide, gave a very nice tour, giving great tips og recommandations for places to eat and see in the city.

Without a doubt, this is the best way to see all the major sites in Florence. We covered 20 sites in a little less than 2 hours. There is no way we could have walked it all. Ben was an awesome guide. Very knowledgeable and incredibly nice. I highly recommend this company. Thanks a Ben!!!

I was in Florence on Nov 18, 2017 and took the Eco Green tour to explore the city. I was lucky to have Ben as my tour guide. Ben was very knowledgeable and he made sure that I get the most out of my tour. I had a great time!

we booked the tour directly when we got there. we were lucky to have LUCA as our driver. He was really funny and was very accommodating since we were travelling with our infant daughter. He showed us the best Gelateria and dining out places also. quick way to see all the places without walking. we will definitely recommend this tour and LUCA.

I was in Florence Nov 2-9, 2017 and took the Eco Green tour with my best friend the day we arrived to get a feel for Florence. Vanessa was our tour guide. She went above and beyond to make our tour memorable. We liked her so much that we used her 2 other times while we were there!!! Her knowledge of her city was very insightful and helped us plan our time in Italy. Highly recommend Vanessa!!!!

My wife couldn't walk so we were looking for options to minimize walking and at the same time see as much as we could of Florence. Took The Eco Green Tours Florence and we couldn't be happier. We visited most of the sight seeing places, Ben was our driver and guide, extremely knowledgeable about Florence's history and places, he was a very polite super happy person, We were lucky to get him. You can stop at different location and get off the car, walk around with a set that tells you stories and descriptions of that specific location.

Ben gave us an excellent tour of the city of Florence. We were short on time and this was perfect. We were able to jump off and take pictures. Loved his English accent.

We booked by email and our great guide Ben turned up as arranged and gave us a great tour. As it was a buggy we got into nooks and crannies we would not have otherwise done. As there was only 2 of us plus Ben, we did not need the audio units and we had a really informative and broad overview of Florence. Would recommend that you do this tour before you rush off to hit one famous sight or the other as it gives you great perspective on the history of the city and insider knowledge on where to go and when.

Our guide Vanessa was great and made our little buggy excursion a really cool way to get around the city quickly and thru tight spots and stoppng to take in the sights was too easy. Vanessa made good conversation and her English was excellent and a super friendly young lady. Especially good mode of travel to just book out for 1/2 a day early on your arrival to really get a fix on where everything is so you can set up the rest of your stay and not waste time. And at same time picking up tips from Vanessa on smart way and times to do things.

My sister and I brought our 82 year old Mum to Florence and this was a brilliant way to pop around and get a quick feel for the city. We covered much more ground than we could possibly have seen if we had had to walk. We didn't go into any buildings but as a first thing to do it gave you the opportunity to decide where you would like to visit properly at a later date. Got a few tips from Ben, our guide, including the hint to go to the top of the department store in Piazza Repubblica for a glass of wine with rooftop views. I would say though, if you are with an elderly relative you should opt for the longer tour for an extra 10 euros each and go to the Piazzale Michelangelo for the best view of Florence from above. Trying to do that on the bus was very difficult!

We took this tour on a glorious day,which probably helped. We were picked up from our hotel,and finished whereever we wanted in the city. Our guide,Ben,was a fund of local and historical knowledge,and also pleasant and fun. We totally enjoyed our two hours with him. Would recommend this tour.

Ben was an amazing font of knowledge. He not only answered every question asked but was able to tell us more about historical Florence than we could have ever found out. The size of the electric cart meant we were able to explore the centre of the city with ease. Ben also to recommend some great resteraunts and bars, excellent local knowledge! We would highly recommend this tour, thank you Ben.
