I ended up on the back of the golf cart facing the back . Could not see anything nor could I hear anything . Paid way too much for nothing . Was not an enjoyable ride at all. Very disappointed

Itinerary
Porta Romana is one of the best-preserved monumental gates of Florence’s ancient city walls. Built in 1328, it was the main entrance for travelers arriving from Siena and Rome. Today it still impresses with its massive towers, marble coats of arms, and the authentic atmosphere of the Oltrarno district, a less crowded and more genuine part of the city. A perfect stop to discover a quieter, historic side of Florence comfortably by golf cart.
Villa Galileo (also known as Villa Il Gioiello) is the historic home where the great scientist Galileo Galilei spent the final years of his life under house arrest after his 1633 trial. Set in the charming Pian dei Giullari district of Florence, this Renaissance villa offers a fascinating glimpse into Galileo’s life and work, with its historic architecture and ties to one of history’s most influential figures in science.
The Convent of San Matteo in Arcetri is a peaceful historic monastery nestled in the Florentine hills, just outside the city center. Founded in the 14th century, it was home to cloistered Dominican nuns and later became closely connected to the final years of Galileo Galilei, who lived nearby. Surrounded by greenery and silence, it offers a glimpse into a quieter, more spiritual side of Florence, far from the crowded tourist routes.
Guests reach the San Miniato al Monte area with a short scenic walk from the nearby golf cart stop. This peaceful hilltop location offers one of the most atmospheric night views over Florence. External visit only.
Guests reach Piazzale Michelangelo with a short scenic walk of about 100 meters from the nearby golf cart stop. From this iconic viewpoint, they can admire Florence illuminated at night, including the Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio, Ponte Vecchio, the Arno River and the historic skyline.
Arcetri is a charming hillside district just outside Florence’s historic center, known for its peaceful atmosphere, olive groves, and stunning views over the city. Rich in history and closely connected to Galileo Galilei, who spent his final years here, Arcetri offers a more authentic and tranquil side of Florence, perfect to explore comfortably by golf cart.
Villa del Poggio Imperiale is a magnificent Medici villa located on the southern hills of Florence and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Originally built in the 16th century, it later became a grand residence for the Habsburg-Lorraine family. Surrounded by elegant gardens and offering beautiful views, the villa is a symbol of aristocratic Florence and a refined stop to discover the city’s noble past .

Gerard and his colleague were outstanding hosts! We got to see Florence by night, learn the history, learn about the families that made the city into what it is today and tour around some areas we never would’ve seen on foot! The city lights and the vistas are beautiful! I would recommend!
Guide was knowledgeable, courteous and prompt. The ride was comfortable and shielded us just fine from more than a few raindrops!
Michael was wonderful guide.
Golf cart tour was fun!! We got to see several sites in Florence. We did it at night so the weather was much cooler.
Our guide Emile was amazing… Very very friendly. Had lots of great information about Florence and the Tuscany area. Played beautiful music for us while we drove around and enjoyed the panoramic views of Tuscany.
We toured with Seymo and it was fantastic! Great views of the city at sunset, lots of information and time to spend at Michaelangelo square.
It was awesome!!! Well worth it. Our guide Tiziano was very knowledgeable and a lot of fun. I would reccommend going before dark, beautiful views able to see and visit places much better. Tiziano also made a dinner reservation at a restaurant near our place, it was very good.
The driver was late. No communication with tour company. The tour was not really Florence, rather back roads in country. Not much to see other than large homes. It ended with View overlooking Florence (best part). Guide wanted to leave prior to darkness, so didn’t really see lights. City will not let golf carts in main center anymore. Not worth the money. Take a taxi to top of hill and one back and save some money.
We thought the evening tour would include more sites of the beautiful city of Florence. Instead we took back roads to get to the Piazzale Michelangelo??? It was less crowded for sure( however, not much to see. Our driver was late due to a parade - not his fault. For the expense I’d not take this again. I’ve taken other golf cart exp. That showed much more, disappointing
We had our Florence by Night Golf Cart tour with Alex - he was an outstanding guide. He took us to many scenic lookout and did not just drive us from place to place but told us stories and taught us the history of many of the areas outside of the city center that we stopped to see. This was an excellent and informative tour that was capped off with some outstanding views of Florence at Night highlighted by breathtaking views of the majestic Duomo and Campanile as well as the Palazzo Vecchio. This was worth every minute.
Worst experience regarding trip and experience. Be aware you have to walk to experience a small view. Not worth view.
We book this tour last minute and it didn’t disappoint. The views were just incredible. We started at 9 and got to see the most amazing sunset over the city. Our guide was amazing!
We had a lovely time on our tour with Emile. He shared wonderful facts about each stop, gave us time to look around and photograph the areas and played wonderful music in between. We were pleased with the areas covered as well as his company.
Our tour guide was amazing. So knowledgeable and kind. I will recommend this tour to all my friends to make sure they see Florence from the other side of the river
We had an amazing experience on our Florence Tour! Our guide was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience feel personal and relaxed. After spending time in the busy city, it was wonderful to escape to the beautiful hills and countryside surrounding Florence. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, peaceful, quiet, and filled with incredible views that gave us a different perspective of Tuscany. Along the way, our guide shared fascinating history and local stories that made each stop even more meaningful. One thing we especially appreciated was how thoughtful he was. He frequently pulled over at scenic spots so we could take photos, and he even took several pictures of us together, helping us capture memories we'll cherish forever. If you're looking for a way to experience the beauty of Florence beyond the city streets, we highly recommend this tour. It was the perfect mix of history, stunning landscapes, and genuine hospitality. One of our favorite experiences in Florence!
Excellent experience, the guide was informative and interesting. A tour not miss.. Guide was a safe driver and made stops for photo opportunities.
The eve golf cart tour was so fun and interesting. Our tour guide was informative, interesting and excited to show us his city. Great evening!
Our golf cart tour in Florence was one of the highlights of our trip. It was such a comfortable and enjoyable way to see the city, especially with the added benefit of covering more ground than we would have on foot. The absolute standout moment was reaching Abbazia di San Miniato al Monte just in time for sunset. The view overlooking Florence was truly spectacular—watching the city glow as the sun went down was something we’ll never forget. Our tour guide was amazing—friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about Florence. They shared great insights and stories along the way, which made the experience feel much more personal and engaging.
This is a great way to see parts of Florence you would not normally visit on your own. Our guide Danny was extremely knowledgeable about Florence history and he was a really fun guy. We were treated like family and we so appreciated all of the information he had to share. We highly recommend this private golf cart tour.
Our nighttime tour with Roberto was amazing! He was so knowledgeable, informative and easy going! I feel like I could ace an exam on the history of Florence after just two hours with Roberto, as he explained everything in such a detailed yet fun way! Highly recommend this tour at night, beautiful views, perfect weather and gorgeous picture that we will remember forever!
We had a wonderful night on our tour, so much fun. Roberto was amazing, so knowledgeable. We learnt so much, he was so gracious. We would highly recommend this night tour. Our photos of Florence of a night are stunning. Thank you so much Roberto.
