Knowing only that there was food and drink involved and after a shaky start, we set off around the St Giovani area of Florence to taste different types of food and drink . Food for starters, main course ( sandwich style) pudding and gelato to finish with some wine to help it go down . Excellent tastes, both in food and drink from little side street cafes to restaurants, displaying the choice of street food available, with a little history and background thrown in . We had our walking tour with Sylvia, and had a wonderful time! The food stops were well-planned and had a mix of savory and sweet. Definitely come hungry! Sylvia had a ton of knowledge about the city and added fun facts and history throughout the walking tour. This would be perfect for a first day in Florence, giving you a good sampling of famous foods and good walking areas. I would definitely recommend this tour!
Booked the walking street food tour and was very lucky that it turned into a private tour with the wonderful Sylvia!! We had an amazing time on our first day in Florence, the tour not only introduced us to authentic Firenze Street food but also helped us get our bearings in the city. Sylvia was an amazing guide, so knowledgeable both about the food and the city itself. We tried food we would not have otherwise have, wine that has hit and miss due to our palate and ended with the most delicious gelato in the city. No dinner was needed after everything we ate! A perfect food tour to do when in Florence! Our guide, Ilaria was very nice and easy to talk to and knowledgeable about the city and its food & history. Our specific tour had 6 stops, including two very local spots a tourist would never find on their own, wine tasting, all’antico vinaio (touristy but very good and nice to see the original location while skipping the line), and two desserts. We had a lovely time and if you are interested in doing a food tour, this is a great option!

The food stops were all wonderful, food was amazing, I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried Chicken liver pate, delicious!! My family and I had a great experience and would love to spend time with Lisa again next time in Firenze!!
A great tour of the local area. You get a full 4 course meal and drinks. Highly recommended for those with an appetite. Come hungry, leave happy.

Excellent background information and Marco was a very affable gentleman. Coffee and pastry started us off. Next was a tour of the market with cheese and meat, followed by crostini. Then off to All'antico Vinaio for schiacciata. Then wine at a sidewalk wine bar. Finally we enjoyed gelato. We enjoyed our walk very much!
Leonandre was Amazing! All the places he took us for our food samplings were Wonderful! Started at a coffee shop with a pastry and a cappuccino and then to the Market - indoor and outdoor which was truly Amazing! Our sampling with bread, cheeses, prosciutto and salami and wine were also fabulous! Our sandwich at All’Antico with Basil was delicious! The stop at L Fratellini was very Special!! The last stop to get a Gelato was also delicious!! Very knowledgeable about the history of Florence! Truly a very Fun Experience! Wendy and Clay from Alabama!

Not so good. The tour guide seemed to be a last minute replacement.. Nice enough but did not really address the whole group or seem very knowledgeable about the subject. I can not suggest this tour.
