Jacob was an amazing driver. So passionate about the vehicle and it's history and the history of the Chianti region we visited. What an amazing experience!

We had a wonderful time during our recent wine tour and truly enjoyed experiencing the wine and culture of Italy. We had originally scheduled the tour in the Fiat 500, but due to the extreme heat Italy was experiencing the week before our visit, we had to switch to an air-conditioned van. Unfortunately, the van’s A/C did not seem to be working properly, as it never really reached a comfortable temperature throughout the tour. Despite that, the overall experience was fantastic. The wine tasting, beautiful scenery, and opportunity to experience the Italian wine country made for a memorable day. We really enjoyed the tour and would definitely recommend the experience to others.
Absolutely fabulous, thank you Jacob and Leo!
This is an experience not to be missed while visiting Firenze! We had a wonderful guide drive us into the Chianti countryside, through small towns, and to a beautiful vineyard. The wine lunch was very tasty! Highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a fun and unique way to visit the Chianti region.
What a wonderful and fun experience! Escape the city and journey into the Chianti countryside with the knowledgeable guide in a vintage Fiat. The winery lunch and tasting with cellar tour is very well done; I was served the best lasagna I’ve ever eaten! Highly recommend this tour to anyone who likes fun and wants to visit an authentic Tuscan winery in a unique way.
This was such a great experience! Riding in a fiat from the 70s was an adventure in and of itself--these cars are small and low to the ground. We took a scenic drive to get some great views of the city and took in the countryside. Our guide was so kind and generous with conversations. The winery was very beautiful and the food amd wine pairings exceeded expectations. We will definitely be recommending this trip to friends.
Where to begin. Stefano a.k.a. Nino is a true grip to his tour. The fact that he drove us around Tuscany in a 1971 Fiat named Brontolina, scored high points too. Nino filled our minds and hearts and bellies with joy and love for this land he treasures so much. A tour is just a tour yet the guide makes it. Nino, our new friend, with a big huge heart, this tour was made fabulous because of you. Ask for Stefano, a.k.a. Nino, you won’t be disappointed. Why this tour, you could still go on the big or other small tours, yet this one takes you to the small wineries, the towns and sites fewer pass and truly the most spectauclar views. No highways just beautiful people delicious food and beverage, with views shared by Nino, is worth its weight and gold. I will add the winery we stopped at Luiano‘s was splendid. It was not just a wine food pairing event. It was personalized with charming passion with what they produce. We ordered 12 bottles to ship to the USA. Choose this tour and ask for Stefano. We promise you will have a great time. Grazie Mille, the Willis is from Arizona.

I actually almost bailed on this trip .. but my husband and Giacipo insisted I come along ... wowowowowow .. the guide was totally awesome we LOVED him, he was a gifted creative and easy communicator and an experienced traveller, so when you are in someone elses hands to get to know a new place in only a few short hours - you cannot come up with a better skill set than that. THANK YOU we like tuscany tours, he's the very best, and our wine just arrived yesterday and had to have a mid week tipple to celebrate. DON'T THINK ABOUT THIS TOUR - JUST DO IT ! you will love it for sure .. and please don't worry, I provided photgraphic evidence in this review :0)
If you want the best food in Cortona you have to visit Emma at Bar 500 in the main walk through. You’ll be so pleased you did. Highly recommended. Great staff and Emma’s a star.x😘
We were absolutely charmed by the stunning vineyards, olive groves, and winding roads that define this iconic Italian landscape. Our tour guide Toto was not only knowledgeable about the area's history and culture but also passionate about sharing it with us, also taking countless pictures for us. But it's not just about the destination; it's also about the journey. Feeling the wind in our hair on board of the vintage Fiat 500, a symbol of Italian craftsmanship and charm. Whether you're a car enthusiast or simply looking for a unique way to explore Tuscany, this experience is unforgettable. And let's not forget the culinary delights & wine tastings. With its combination of breathtaking scenery, cultural richness, and vintage flair, our Fiat 500 tour in Chianti was definitely the highlight of our trip.
We had a fantastic tour in a private Fiat tour with Stefano who was wonderful. This was a highlight of our honeymoon as Stefano went out of his way to ensure we had a great time. The tour took us through glorious windy roads through Tuscany and we had a beautiful lunch and winery tour. Just perfect! From the website it wasn’t clear exactly how the tour works but it was great - this is not a self driving tour but rather you have your own guide and the cute vintage car is just big enough for a couple. We would highly recommend - ask for Stefano as he is fantastic!
Stefano took us on a beautiful tour of the tuscan countryside and Florence. We stopped at Luiano winery for some incredible wine and at the San Miniato al Monte basilica for the absolute best view of the city. While the tour and the sights are well worth the price, the best part is the local knowledge our guide had. He steered us to the best food in Florence!
Nino (Stefano) was amazing! My husband and I got this tour as a gift for our honeymoon and it was wonderful. Nino even threw in some extra perks to help us see more of Florence since we're only here for a few days. Thank you so much for the selfies, the views, and the conversation, we can't say enough nice things!
What a great day we had up in Tuscany our tour guide Bill was great. We got to see the grape harvest at the winery which only happens once a year. I would definitely recommend this tour
Liz saw the beautiful country landscape while I drove. Haven't had this much fun since I sold my 1966 MGB. We walked amongst the rows of a hillside Tuscany vineyard, ate grapes off the vines, listened to insightful interpretations from our charming hosts Jacopo and Jessica, toured the historical Corsisni winery, enjoyed an exceptional lunch and wine sampling in a cellar like restaurant and purchased a case of delicious Chianti wine. Wow what a day!
It was the best day in Tuscany celebrating our Honeymoon. The countryside was picturesque, the Fiat 500 was a blast, the winery was amazing and the food spectacular. Bill, our guide, was knowledgeable, personable and just an all around great guy. We were fortunate to be the only car on this tour, which made it even more special. We will definitely do this tour again. Bill, your the best! *******, we needed to add more stars :), Laura & Kurt
Thank you Freddie, Ambra and all of "We Like Tuscany". We had a wonderful time driving through the Tuscan countryside in our own FIAT 500. Freddie was a great guide and very knowledgeable of the area and it's history. Lunch and the tour of the vineyard was excellent. We strongly recommend this trip for anyone who wants to get away from the crowds and see more of Tuscany. Thanks again!!!
My wife I had an amazing day driving the Vintage Fiat 500 with our excellent guide Cosimo. We were fortunate to just have us in one car with Cosimo leading the way around the amazing Tuscan countryside in a second vintage 500. The office is on the Southern side of the city and we were soon into the most picture perfect scenery . We stopped on a number of occasions to view the countryside covered in Cyprus trees, vines and olive trees. The winery was interesting with Cosimo showing us the wine and olive oil production process before sampling some wine and having a wonderful authentic Tuscan lunch. Cosimo was excellent company and it was a pleasure to spend time with a knowledgeable and polite young man . After lunch we headed back to Florence via a different route. It was such a perfect day after having spent 2 days viewing the sights (and walking many miles)to drive through the countryside surrounding this wonderful city. We could not have had a better final day to our Anniversary trip to Florence and Tuscany. If you get the chance then you should do this tour.
My partner and I did this as part of my 40th birthday holiday in December. Great exploring the countryside, stopping seeing the sights, experiencing local food and tour of winery. All topped off with driving an amazing little car. Hugely recommend.
First off, they were 30 minutes late picking us up. They gave us about an hour tour of Tuscany and a short tour of Florence. It lasted about 2 hours and cost $500. If I were you I'd spend my money on something else.
My husband and I recently did the Grand Tuscany Driving Tour with Bill. We had a great afternoon exploring by Fiat, it is one of our most memorable adventures from this trip. Bill was a friendly and fun guide- after a quick Fiat lesson we left Florence and got a scenic tour leaving the city, visited a great lookout point and took off for the hill town of Fiesole. The drive was very fun, and even in winter there was tons to see, and it was very beautiful. We had a great lunch and conversation with Bill, and couldn't be happier with our time there. We visited a small winery and olive oil producer before heading back into the city, taking a different route home, and got some great shots and memories to bring home with us. Only one person drove, the car was great and we'd happily recommend to another couple or small group for a break from the tourists in the center of town.

This excursion was a highlight of our trip and our guide, Bill, made a huge difference as he was very patient, informative, and fun! We had a caravan of 3 vintage Fiat 500's and he successfully navigated us through Florence to the countryside city of Fiesole. This truly felt like an authentic Tuscan day as we paused above olive groves and vineyards to learn about how olive oil is made, ate a delicious meal in a family owned Trattoria, and visited a small family winery. Just a heads up, you may want to brush up on your stick shift driving skills. Also, the cars are vintage, which made this tour special, however, they do require TLC when shifting. We also drove through some busy areas of Florence for a short time at the beginning and the end of the drive. Our cars attracted a lot of attention with people waving and taking pictures. This whole excursion was a fantastic experience for our family!!

My husband and I took the Grand Tuscan Tour with Bill from weliketuscany and had the best day! Bill was so patient with us with our several emails picking the car colour we wanted and then changing our minds and then changing them back again! He explained everything so well. We met him at his store at Via Romana which is the most convenient location of all the other Fiat500 tours and he brought us to a nearby garage. There waiting was three of the cutest cars I’d ever seen! The Tiffany blue one was surely the cutest, the red the more classic! Bill actually owns the Tiffany blue as his personal car so was extremely kind of him to lend it to us. Bill took the time to explain how to manage these old cars, which he referred to as little old lady’s 😂. He talked through the double clutch and managing the gears, and shortly after we were on our way. Bill was leading the way in his own little vintage Fiat500. First stop was Michelangelo Piazzale which was a pretty amazing photo op. Those cars and the Duomo in the background, very instagrammable! After that we took to Fiesole which is a beautiful town/ area in the hills above Florence. We stopped at this local family run restaurant and had the best food of our trip there. I definitely would not have ever found this restaurant without him. It’s one that you would only drive to. We stopped off at an olive farm and he explained how the olive oil is made. After that we went to a local vineyard that produced award winning wines, and Bill explained the wine making process to us, and we enjoyed a few delicious samples! Interestingly, as it’s the season, we were able to see and sample freshly extracted olive oil also. It was fascinating. The vineyard has a beautiful villa with gorgeous views of the Tuscan countryside so we really enjoyed the privilege of that also. After that we drove by Castello di Vincigliata where my husband and I got married. Bill took that way so we could reminisce. I thought that was lovely. Also of course it’s an extremely scenic road. Lined with those quintessential cypress trees that you see on all the Tuscany postcards. When we returned into Florence we had the softest sunset to enjoy. We drove along the Arno on the Uffizi side, so we passed the Ponte Vecchio and crossed the Ponte Santa Trinita bridge, went through Santo Spirito and back to the garage. An amazing experience to ride along that route in the city. I have to say I think this tour could not be topped by any other as you get a true taste of Tuscany without having to travel hours into the Chianti region. Bill was a great guide and we are very grateful for the amazing memories we have because of him. Thank you bill for an amazing day out! We really enjoyed your tour and will be back for the Vespa one in the summer.
