Our tour guide was excellent and very informative. She took her time and answers all our questions. She went a nice pace.

It felt a little rushed and our guide was very focused keeping our herd tightly together. She was very knowledgeable and a little difficult to understand at times (we are American and speak no Italian, so her English was better than my Italian. Also at times her voice faded when she turned her mouth away from her hand held microphone. At the end of the day, I didn’t want my money back.
Martina was fantastic and added humor into her conversation with the group Taught us a lot and the history
I visited this place last week with my friends and we had a great time. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and well-organized. The crowd size was medium, so it wasn't too loud or crowded. I really recommend it if you want to spend a nice afternoon. I would definitely go back again!
The Duomo is beautiful and well worth the visit. It may be busy and you may have to stand in line for entrance into Cathedral. The lines tend to move within 30 minutes. And your tour guide will keep you entertained with stories of the history surrounding you.
Amazing tour! The guide was knowledgeable and engaging. The Duomo is absolutely stunning. Highly recommended!
I only i day Florence and wanted an uficentway get to see the interior doumo very beautiful thank you
Very long wait to enter, even with tickets. Guide has a long time to tell us about the outside. However inside tour was quickly over, the inside is sparse and oddly decorated.
Small groups are the way to go! This can be a very crowded area stick to small group tours. Ours was great! Eduardo was very interesting, gave us a lot of information and kept us entertained during the wait in line.
Rachel was a great guide. The church was amazing, for its history and the size of the dome. The crypt was a rare look back into history. The opportunity to climb the tour or the dome are unique views of the city. Also take in the museum. It is a day of activity. Your close to restaurants are close when you need a break.
Guide had good information but accent was so thick I missed most of what she said.
Our guide Rachel was absolutely amazing so knowledgable and passionate about her city and its history. Very warm and welcoming and looked after us perfectly
Incredible experience having a guided tour thru the Duomo. Our Guide Guido was very insightful on the history of the building and the major artists and architects who were involved. Highly recommend tour and hopefully you get Guido as your guide.
The entire experience was completely underwhelming and certainly not worth anywhere near what we paid for it, which regrettably we booked on the recommendations of others that you must have such an excursion to get into the cathedral, which we found not to be true at all. Our guide was fine but by far the exterior of the building is the high point, and that can be seen for free. Once we stepped inside (after standing in an outside line for 30+ minutes in 95 degree direct sun), my wife and I could not have been more disappointed. It compared very poorly to every other cathedral we visited during a 7 week trip as it was just a big open space with literally nothing to see - almost as if it had been emptied out. Several paintings, big columns and that was it. Bare walls everywhere and spiritually devoid of any feelings. We were truly stunned. If you go there, enjoy the outside view and if you just have to see the inside, wait in line or find a really cheap skip the line promotion, not more than $20 should do that. But don't waste a penny on a guided tour, as visually the inside offers nothing and informationally, a quick review of internet info will give you more info on it than a tour guide has time for.
I only had a day in Florence and wanted an efficient way to get to see the interior of the Duomo and as much in addition as I could fit. I also could walk up the Giotto tower on the same ticket. The service was excellent.
When we got there there we had a confirmation number and they did not have a confirmation of our ticket and we were unable to go on our tour
Amazingly kind and knowledgeable. Highly recommend. The guide was great and so is the city in all its wonder.
Amazing tour. Without guide is a waste of time
Good tour, staff really kind Thank you
Arrived at tour at exact time tour would start an they had already left without us. Office would not let us meet up with tour. Even though we asked. Booked a separate tour with another Viator group and not only did they wait for people who may have gotten lost finding the location they actually let two women meet mid tour before we had gotten into Duomo. Our next tour for David also waited beyond the tour time for people who had gotten lost. We were not impressed with this tour group and we did not get a refund!!!
Eduardo was very helpful and explained many facts about the history of the Duomo. Would definitely recommend to someone who is looking to get the best bang for your buck.
We loved having a private guided tour! She was excellent at her craft and we were excited to learn all about the duomo
The meetup area was very clear-- an office on a side street very close to the cathedral. Our tour guide was terrific and the tour was great as well. She first walked us through the crypt area, and then went on to the church, fielding as many questions as we asked. The only thing I would caution others about is that you may not actually enter the church at your designated time. we had a 10:00 entrance time, but that's when the church opens, so there was a huge line queued up even for all the "skip the line" ticket holders. We didn't enter the church until probably 11:00, so bear that in mind for any plans you have afterward. To her credit, the tour guide took that time, to give us a deep history of the cathedral, which made the wait go by faster.
Everything perfect, Giovanni the guide was the best tour we had so far in Florence
A wonderful experience! Everything was perfectly organized, the guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and the places we visited were amazing. I truly enjoyed every moment of the tour and would highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you for making this trip so memorable!
Very informative and fun tour by Eduardo. Very knowledgeable of the city of Florence. I learned alot
We waited in the fast lane for 45 minutes and once we got in the tour was approximately 30 minutes and rushed. Then it was bye and go do the other things yourself. I could have arranged this myself without a tour guide. Was not worth the money. The tour guide was nice though.
Disappointed in customer service and help
Paid for private guide and one was available. So had to get in an hour long line to go in by ourselves. Inside Duomo is not worth standing in line for. Is very small and very crowded.
Very informative tour. Our guide Guido was excellent. Perfect tour if you’re short on time. Skip the line feature was great
Excellent tour of the area in and around the Duomo. We got so much more out of the visit. Great tour guide, and we were provided audio gadgets so we could hear the guide easily even amongst the crowd.
Great experience. Chiara was very knowledgeable about the duomo. This tour was perfect, a guided tour of the cathedral then access on your own to the other attractions. Would recommend the bell tower climb it wasn’t as bad as I expected. Had a great time in Florence thank you!
Skip the line worked great and our guide Edwardo/Eddie was excellent. Provided lots of information in the short amount of time for the tour in a humorous way. Very entertaining. We all enjoyed it
This was ok, through no fault of the tour group, but most of the time spent in line. Went in and heard a little about the Duomo, and barely heard about the entire complex. Would have liked to hear more about the Baptistery and the Tower
I ended up having a private tour which was amazing! My guide was so knowledgeable and I enjoyed hearing all about the history of Florence and the Duomo. I ended up feeling faint during the tour (hot day and empty stomach) and she found me a seat and was able to continue the tour. 10/10
Great tour. Very informative and the tour guide was helpful. Would recommend this tour for anyone looking for a Duomo tour that is relaxed and easy.
Our tour guide Rachel was incredibly knowledgeable while also being kind and approachable with questions. Her background as a university art professor gave her presentation a depth that was truly appreciated.
Our tour guide was very difficult to hear and with so many people around we missed a lot of the communication. Would have been good to have the tour guide talk into his microphone.
I was writing as our group found the tour misleading, especially with only a short time in Florence.. First we waited for thirty minutes for a skip the line tour which we understood might happen. As a religious person, the tour guide actually took away from my appreciation of the sacredness once inside the cathedral as I heard a lot about murder and corruption. We had to wait until 4:30 to go to the top of of the dome for a noon tour and no one notified us when checking in or upon leaving what our ticket included or about any time constraints. The tour was presented as being a “Duomo Complex Tour” but did not actually include a tour of the dome/duomo. A member of my party even asked about seeing the top of the dome at the end of the tour and the tour guide did not explain it was not included. We spent a good deal of time waiting to get at the top of the dome, to be rejected. We then spent a good deal of time to get up to the tower to be rejected and told to wait until 4:30, when our fixed tour ended at 1:00. It was the last day of our Florence vacation and we felt on a wild goose chase. Please a refund for our troubles would be greatly appreciated as the tour experience was falsely advertised.
Eduardo was the best tour guide we have had on our trip. Knowledgeable and thoughtful. We booked late and feel lucky we found this tour. Highly recommend with the much faster skip the line and bell tower.
Our tour guide was not just knowledgeable but she spoke in a way that was easy ti understand. The crypt visit was goid and tge bell tower climb great. Worth doing it helps to have an understanding of the way money and polotics worked.
Guide was great! Would have liked to have the guide throughout museum as well. Guide was knowledgeable
Rachel did a nice job guiding us through the Dumo balancing interesting stories about Florence in the 15-18 century, the Medici family, artwork, etc. Giotto's Bell tower's 400+ steps worth the views
Booked a last minute skip-the-line tour to enter the cathedral, the crypt, the Baptistry, and the Duomo museum. The tour also included a climb to the top of the bell tower. If you are pressed for time and want to skip the line and cover all aspects of the Duomo, you can't go wrong with this tour. Our tour guide was Rossa, who covered the cathedral and the crypt on the inside, and provided an overview of the history and architecture of the cathedral, the bell tower and the Baptistry on the outside.
Fascinating tour with very knowledgeable and friendly guide, we would highly recommend. We had expected a small group but were the only two on the tour
Very good experience. Easy to get in without queue. Guido was a great guide for us. Recommend Guido, good English, very knowledgeable & interesting to listen to.
Amazing trip today to Duomo and bell tower. Our guide Giovanni was so knowledgeable and learnt many facts we would never have known without him. Cathedral is truly stunning definitely a must see. Climbing the Bell Tower was exhausting but well worth it when you reach the top for the views! Thank you so much to Giovanni and the ticket office who called us when we were lost trying to meet up! Great communication!
The Florence Duomo Complex tour was great since we finally got to this famous landmark. The Baptistery’s mosaics and gates, the inside of Santa Maria del Fiore, and all the Renaissance artwork in the Duomo Museum were all impressive. Learning about Brunelleschi’s dome added some valuable context. Everything about this tour was well organized and helped us get more than we ever would on our own.
El Duomo is fascinating. Beautiful! Our tour guide (i am almost sure is Eduardo) was amazing. Very knowledgable, nice and fun. He was our favorite of the whole trip.
The skip the line was just to wait an hour and a half in a line. Waste of money honestly. We thought we booked just the climb of the dome but this wasn’t that. Do not recommend.
