The bike ride, photos, beautiful farm, wine and delicious food will make this a memory of a lifetime. I appreciate Jack’s extra care around our safety and checking in with everyone. He made a great tour outstanding.

We had e-bikes for our tour of the Tuscan hills with Jacopo, our guide. He stopped at scenic spots to share the history of the area and then brought us to a small, family run farm for lunch with delicious wine and olive oil. It was a perfect that that we will remember forever! Highly recommend the e-bike…and do not be afraid to use Turbo mode…makes uphill easy and enjoyable.
Beautiful authentic ride through urban, suburban and countryside of Tuscany. Not the easiest ride (up) on bicycle but absolutely worth the effort. Andrea was a great host. And La Pia in Percussina was the best destination.
Great to explore the countryside near Florence and enjoy a delicious meal in a fabulous winery. Claudio our guide was knowledgeable and shared lots of info about the history of the sights and locations we visited.
This is a wonderful company with passionate and talented guides. We had an amazing ride, learned so much about Florence and Tuscany; and our lunch & tastings at La Pia was an absolute treasure. The wine, olive oil and food were the best we've had here...and the story and background of this gorgeous property made it even more special. The bikes were great, where with one touch you could easily adjust your e-bike from manual to multiple levels of assist. You could tell how much love and care they put into their tours and taking care of their guests. Absolutely, top-notch guide. I felt like we were with a historian and also an ecologist. We heard that other tours by the larger companies were fine, but nothing like the outstanding experience we had. Trust us, pick this tour!
A very enjoyable and memorable day out in beautiful Chianti. The electric bikes are straightforward to use and well maintained. Our very personable guide, Jacopo, is well informed with historical detail and knowledgeable about the olive farming and local traditions. A highlight of the day was olive oil and wine tasting at La Pia farm, along with Marta's delicious lunch. Such a beautiful setting. We would highly recommend this day out as an escape from the bustle and crowds of the city.
We had the be day e-biking through Tuscany ! We received an amazing history lesson from our incredible guide, Jacopo and visited a charming vineyard (La Pia in Percuasina). The owner, Marta was charming and friendly. The farm to table food was delicious, and the wine was incredible. Highly recommend this tour !
We had a great time on our full day bike tour around the Tuscany hills with our guide Toto! We had a small group of 6 and we all had e-bikes which helped make the ride an easier on the hills. My husband and I are active bikers back home but aren’t used to hills and glad we opted to for the e-bike to turn on when needed it. You do bike on shared roads with cars but most of the time once you get out of the city the quieter roads our guide took us on had fewer cars. The views were spectacular and we loved hearing about the wine making process and history from our guide. His story telling was engaging and felt like we actually learned some interesting bits of history along the way. The food and wine at the winery for lunch was great! More food than we thought would be served. The trip back down the hills was enjoyable as Toto took us another way so we could see more of the hillside wineries and surrounding nature and important buildings. This tour was the highlight of our week long trip to Tuscany!
This was a wonderful experience! Highly recommend! Jacapo, our guide was amazing! He spoke excellent English, gave insightful, meaningful points of the history of the area along the way. We stopped at La Pia winery. Martha, the owner, was a gem. The food and wine were delicious. It was the perfect amount of biking and touring. The bikes were high quality and easy to ride. A highlight of the trip.
The staff, equipment was top notch and the our guide Jacopo was amazing. All in all is was a fantastic experience and one I would repeat.
This tour turned out to be one of our most memorable experiences of our entire 10 day trip in Italy. My husband and I did the full day E bike tour out of Poggibonsi. It turned out we were the only ones on the tour, and the company didn’t try to cancel or reschedule it but instead gave us VIP service. Our guide Alessandro was very easy going and considerate and his love for Italy and biking shines through and makes him the ideal guide. He made us feel like we were out exploring the Tuscan countryside with a longtime friend. He took us on a new route with beautiful countryside and amazing scenic views and some fun riding down the windy hilly roads of Tuscany. We visited the winery, Casa Sola and got an in depth tour of their entire process. Maria, at Casa Sola, is so knowledgeable and passionate. Again it was just the two of us, and we are novice wine tasters, but avid learners when it came to the wine. I feel like she spent extra time with us going over the process and the wine tasting. We appreciated the wine so much and the passion they put into the process we ended up buying a case! I enjoy road biking, but was thankful they talked us into an E bike with those hills and humidity and it was especially nice after all the wine sampling and delicious food to have a little help on the ride back. Thank you for such a memorable experience!
What an AMAZING experience!! Perfect way to spend the day in Tuscany! Jacopo was so kind, knowledgeable & enjoyable!! Went on this tour with my boys (14 & 19 yrs old) & it was the best way to spend the day seeing the sites and being active! Had lunch at LaPia Percussina, which was heavenly! Marta & her son, Matteo were amazing hosts! This tour is an absolute MUST DO when in Florence!
What an amazing experience! And a beautiful way to see the country side of Florence. Was my favorite thing we did while in Florence. A wonderful way to get away from the crowds.
A fantastic day with Jaco leading us through Florence’s laneways up to the splendid winery tour. A few steep climbs give one a sense of a workout deserving of the lunch. A tremendous day.
My sister and I took the active 7.5 hours tour and about 90 minutes into it she started feeling low and it was clear we had to turn around. Our guide Giaccobo made sure she got back safe and arranged an alternative scenic route for me, now the only customer on the tour, including an impromptu aperitivo at a beautiful winery although they were hosting a wedding. It was ultimately last minute and Giaccobo went above and beyond to ensure the tour did not have to be cut short for me. Thank you!
My husband and I highly recommend this tour! Our guide ‘Dri’ was informative, engaging and safety conscious with the entire group. It’s a wonderful way to spend the day in Florence!
Very informative guide. Learned a lot about Florence and Italy. The bikes were good and the route had many interesting stops.
The 2 guides, Alessandro and Simone were terrific. They were enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable about Tuscany. The bike ride was challenging for about 1-2 hours. The e-bike was still a good workout and fun to use. The scenery looking down towards the city was beautiful. Getting away from the common touristy offerings was a nice change.
We had a wonderful experience biking with our guide Leonardo. The scenery is breathtaking and the ride was challenging but fun! Lunch at a local spot was delicious. I would highly recommend this trip - and definitely use an e-bike.
A fun day out with Jack and Cosimo, our guides, who were both very knowledgable about wine, olives and the history of the area. The bikes were perfectly suitable for the terrain with no issues. There were some reasonably strenuous climbs uphill but definitely worth it for the panoramic views. Lunch was fabulous and plenty of it. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole day and would recommend this trip for any cycle enthusiast. The guides were really friendly, helpful and fun!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our e-bike excursion into the Tuscany area, seeing the panoramic view of Florence from the hill we climbed, eating a nice lunch at Fiesole, visiting a farm and learning about grape and olive horticulture. Our very knowledgeable and personable guide, Jacopo, was the best! It was wonderful to have him all to ourselves, and to learn from him (and about him)!
We had a superb day on e-bikes together with our guide, Jacopo. He had great knowledge about the places we visited and he was fun to be with. The lunch at a local trattoria was yummi! We higly recommend We like Toscana and this tour. Again, thank you for taking good care of us today, Jacopo 😁
First, we would highly recommend that anyone who does this be an experienced bike user. The day requires some switchbacks outside the city and crowd negotiation in Florence. All of that said, it is truly a unique and amazing experience. Davide was an outstanding guide and teacher, and did an incredible job revealing the beautiful views attainable from the hillsides around Florence while also teaching about areas from wine production to Ferragamo. The meal was delightful and getting to explore an farmhouse wine and olive oil production (we are alone on our tour) was incredible. Would extremely highly recommend this tour to any experienced bikers looking for a once-in-a-lifetime Tuscan experience!
We did the full-day Chianti bike tour with Cosimo and it was truly a highlight of our 10-day trip! The ride itself is manageable, we went at a relatively slow pace that was nice for being able to take in the surroundings with several stops for views and to learn more about the regions, wine, olive oil, etc. They provide water bottles and the bikes have small handle bar bags for holding a few items. I'd highly recommend it for just about anyone that's comfortable on a bike and looking for a unique way to see Tuscany.
It was a marvelous day as my wife and I were the only 2 to have signed up for this all bike trip from Florence to Fiesole and back. Beautiful sweeping vies of Florence
We had the full day tour, and we would do it again tomorrow if we could! It’s the most beautiful scenery, the guides was the BEST, and the bicycles are in great conditions! I got the e-bike and would recommend it.
My wife and i booked this trip assuming a beautiful bike ride through the Tuscan hills. What we got was that and much more. Valerio wsa our amazing tour guide and guided us through small towns, and amazing wineries in the hills of Tuscany. He made sure we were in the know about every detail both on the road and at the winery. Tour included lunch and a wine sampling and was a perfect day to spend away from the hussle of Florence. Cannot say enough about Valerio and his professionalism, would definitely recommend this to friends and family if they ever visit Tuscany.
Beautiful ride up Fiesole with steep hills and intense cycling, however, it felt more like "follow the leader" than a guided tour. There was no olive oil tasting as advertised and the winery was shown by our guide where we sampled a poor tasting 6 month old wine. My partner and I could have just rented bikes for much much less and had the same experience. Lunch was great.
I took the whole day bike ride from Florence up to Fiesole with Ornel as my guide. We had a small group of just four so it was very manageable and provided more time to interact with Ornel. The ride for me was fantastic. Maybe 15-18 kilometres each way and going up some good hills. If you are not in decent shape, this will be a strenuous ride for you. But if you can do it, it is so worth it. Once you get beyond Florence limits you are in the countryside with olive groves and old vineyards and farm houses. Just beautiful. In Fiesole we climbed up to an old monastery where the view down the valley to Florence was spectacular. We rode maybe 6 kilometres beyond Fiesole to a restaurant for lunch. Fantastic service and food and plenty to eat. Stopped at a small winery on the way back and of course it was almost all down hill. My guide Ornel was a great guy. He spoke good English and is an intelligent guy studying architecture, so we had great discussions. He was very attentive and patient with everyone and had a lot to explain to us about the Italian countryside and history. Excellent guide. I highly recommend this ride... My wife and I did the all day ebike tour and we loved it. The ebikes were easy to use and you had the option of adjusting the levels of assist from the motor or you could also choose to turn it off completely. This was quite a treat especially when we had to tackle the steep hills on our route in Fiesole. That said, the bike tour was an incredibly enjoyable experience and it was the best way for me to see Florence outside of Florence. And I might add, Michelle and I go on many bike tours and this ranks as our top biking experience to date. Our guide also made for the best biking experience. Federico was simply outstanding. Extremely knowledgeable, professional, and personable. My wife and I agree that he facilitated the an entire day of fun and laughter for us and we couldn't have asked for better. I recommend this tour and I recommend the ebikes. If you are hemming and hawing over your decision, I will say this: if you want to have the best meal in all of Italy, the meal you will enjoy in Fiesole alone makes it worthwhile and it is one to be remembered for years. Our biggest thanks to Federico. Grazie.
It was just the 4 of us and our guide on electric bikes which made it great fun. We lucked out with the weather and the scenery was spectacular. The ride through Florence is a bit scary because of all the cars. The town of Fiesole is very nice and the lunch there was good. The vineyard visit was interesting. An upgrade by the company to nicer Ebikes would be my only critique.

The tour was amazing! Frederico was an awesome guide with a ton of knowledge. He was personable, responsive to our needs, and focused on keeping us safe and happy. When booking this trip, keep in mind that "active" really does mean a more difficult level. There are large hills involved.

Our guide, Freddie, was great. Tuscany, of course, was beautiful. And we had the wonderful luck of having a retired opera singer in the group who serenaded us as we rode! A perfect day!

Although there was only one review at the time I booked this tour, I still wanted to try it. And I am so glad that I did. It was the best bike tour of my life. I do a lot of charity bike rides in the Dallas area and I have to say this is by far the best one yet. The views were spectacular and the lunch was superb! Our tour guide Freddie was awesome!! I highly recommend this tour, you will not regret it and ask for Freddie!!

Fantastic adventure! Challenging bike ride up to Fiesola (old Florence) where you have panoramic views of Florence. You see family owned vineyards and olive tree groves. Gastronomical lunch in an authentic tuscan restaurant in the mountains. Exhilarating bike ride down the Tuscan hills.

The trip was unfortunately canceled at the very last minute. We had gotten up early and prepared for a whole day of travel. When we arrived at the meeting place we were informed that the trip was cancelled due to too much rain in the last few days. We realize that one can not do much with the weather, but we think we got the message too late. Had we been told before we left the hotel, we could have tried to plan another activity.
As soon as we passed through the Florence Gate and started climbing the hill, the path rich with olive groves began. While cycling slowly, we were able to directly feel the Tuscan people's spirit towards food. We were able to spend a relaxing time in beautiful nature. It was perfect for a holiday that was different from sightseeing in the city.
This was our second bike tour with this company. Really great. We have had a wonderful guide "Freddie". She's absolutely wonderful. Don’t hesitate to book a bike tour, you won’t regret it.
