Excellent. Very educational and entertaining.
Amazing experience! Chiara was an incredible guide, very knowledgeable, passionate, and engaging. She brought Michelangelo’s David to life with her fascinating insights and stories. Thanks to her, I gained a much deeper appreciation for this masterpiece. Highly recommend her as a guide!
We really enjoyed our tour of the Accademia Gallery with Chiara! Seeing Michelangelo’s David in person was impressive, and having Chiara as our guide made the experience even more memorable. She was knowledgeable, engaging, and had a great sense of humor. She brought the art and history to life with interesting stories and details we would have easily missed on our own. The tour was informative without ever feeling like a history lecture. David was definitely worth seeing, but Chiara deserves some credit for making the visit so enjoyable! Grazie mille, Chiara! 🇮🇹
Fabio was a great guide and very knowledgeable. Gave us lots of good advice and insights. Would recommend!
Lorenzo was super knowledgeable about the museum and Michelangelo. He showed us some of his favorite works and gave us a lot of great history about Michelangelo and David. And, of course, the David statue was incredible!
Our guide was amazing and very knowledgeable!! Would recommend this tour to everyone.
We had a great time with Thomas. He was a wonderful tour guide.
Vanessa was phenomenal. Pray that you get her. Best tour guide in Italy.she was so passionate and engaging - loved every minute of her tour and didn’t want it to end.
Expensive, but we were able to get tickets last minute
Alicia was terrific! She was so knowledgeable about the history of Florence as well as all of the art we visited.
Can't imagine having seen Michaelangelo's David in Florence without our guide. His insight and knowledge of the entire museum was amazing, but the mini lecture about Michaelangelo's design of David and the sculpture's details made it all the more impactful. Highly recommend for those interested in the arts.
The e-bike tour was easily one of my favorite things I did in Florence! It was such a fun and adventurous way to experience the city, with absolutely breathtaking views along the way. It truly felt like the perfect way to see Florence from a different perspective. Gabriele was also a wonderful tour guide: friendly, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable about the city. I would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Florence!
Our tour with Fabio was nothing short of fantastico when coming to see the statue of David and all the other classical art of the Renaissance. We really appreciated his impeccable knowledge of the subject area and his pointing out of the many tiny details of not only the statue of David, all the other art and musical instruments within the gallery spaces. I highly recommend a tour with Fabio!
Fantastic bike tour through Florence with our guide Fabio! Such a great way to see this beautiful city. Highly recommend
Wonderful experience! Very knowledgeable tour guide, we all learned so much and enjoyed everything !!
Excellent guide Alicia!!! Informative fluent and talented way to explore the Academia
Very very good 👍. The guide was incredibly
Our guide, Sybila (I think), was wonderful. She was easy to spot once we arrived at the meeting spot. She was very knowledgeable, and friendly. We learned so much more by taking this tour than we would have on our own. We were able to stay in the Accademia after the tour completed and look at the rest of the artwork at our leisure. I highly recommend this tour. We met for the 9:30am tour and it was not as busy as when we left about noon.
What a fantastic place to visit, made all the better by our wonderful tour guide Federica. Her knowledge and passionate for the artworks and sculptures helped bring its rich history to life.
This is a review for the private tour. The tour guide was very engaging, knew the material really well and was fun to spend the time with. My wife and I were traveling with our two young teen daughters who weren't as interested in this as we were but the guide made a particular effort to connect with them both. We primarily do private tours and I would rank this one as a better one we have done. I think the amount of time we spent in each location was about right and we were whisked into the Accademia within minutes of arrival.
We enjoyed the tour, Marta was super knowledgeable and was a great guide, keeping it interesting even for our 15 year old
Everything was as advertised. Our guide was knowledgeable, fluent in English and delightful! Very educational and illuminating.
I had a great experience with Towns of Italy and my tour guide, Francesca. I visited both Accademia and Uffizi galleries in the same day. She was great sharing information throughout the tour and answering the questions I had. I don't think there was a single thing I asked she didn't know. My Uffizi tour included the Vasari Corridor. Towns of Italy was very communicative from the time I booked until the tour started. I always felt comfortable I knew what was going on. We were able to enter Accademia with only a five minute wait and got into Uffizi right away. Both galleries seemed very busy to me. People were mostly looking at each piece for a few minutes and moving on, so it wasn't too difficult to get an up close view of something or take a photo. The exception to that was the Tribuna in Uffizi. There was a queue, and we didn't wait to see it. People did spend a long time around David in Accademia, but it's a big space so it didn't seem a problem. The Accademia tour lasted about an hour and a half, then I was free to stay and look at anything I wanted on my own before I left. The Uffizi tour lasted two hours and then about 30 minutes in the Vasari Corridor. I couldn't go back after the tour and see things in Uffizi if I wanted. Keep that in mind if you want so spend more time on your own beyond the tour in Uffizi. We were a little rushed in Uffizi at the end to make our reserved time for the Vasari Corridor. We saw everything -- but just barely and quickly at the end. If you want to spend a lot of time at Uffizi, don't do the Vasari Corridor. The Corridor was neat, but it's not a must if you're there for the art. This private tour was good for me because I'm not really into art. I need someone to explain it to me. Francesca pointed out interesting things about each piece and explained the history of it. She also connected stories about multiple pieces throughout the tours. She touched on most everything while focusing on the key pieces. I would have been overwhelmed in Uffizi without her. The timing also worked out for me. I would have gotten bored looking at everything, and I don't know the key pieces to focus on. I also only had one day in Florence. I attended during a June heat wave in Italy -- it was 38deg C. Accademia was cool inside during my morning visit. Uffizi was quite warm during my afternoon visit. There was some air conditioning, but it wasn't strong. Also, we had to walk up 126 steps to the first gallery and begin the tour. I was quite hot and sweaty by the time we reached the top. There is an elevator, but the queue was quite long. It was a good experience, and I'm glad I did both tours.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and personable. We understood her even though it was extremely busy and some teenagers were noisy with their outbursts. I enjoyed listening to her great details of David and all the other marble carvings.
Great experience very knowledge
Fabio made an overcast day bright with his knowledge of Florence history. Short bit of riding on cruiser bikes.
Excellent tour. Our Italian guide was great, pointing out important details and helping us better understand the David. A wonderful experience
Alicia the tour guide was very good and shared a lot of interesting information
Excellent! A lot of information!
We had a great experience! Our guide was very knowledgeable, you could tell she loves being a tour guide. She was happy to answer our questions was patient with a good sense of humor as well.
Alicia was so knowledgeable and fun to listen to. Loved the tour.
Our tour with Maria Christina was great! She went at just the right pace for our 15 and 7 year old kids. Her knowledge and commentary of David was excellent and she pointed out details we would have missed. Would do it again!
Fabrio was an amazing guide who taught us a lot about Italian history. We really enjoyed our walking tour of Florence and the Academy Museum. He is very knowledgeable about Italian Architecture and the art in the museum. We especially enjoyed all of the details he knew about the sculptures. Highly recommend this tour and especially the Academy museum tour!
Our Accademia tour with our kids was the perfect length. Federica was wonderfully engaging and knowledgeable and shared the must see displays...and even encouraged us to explore on our own afterward.
I enjoyed the tour so much. it was absolutely amazing. the tour guide frederica was awesome. she made the experience more enjoyable 😉
We could not believe the scam we fell for!! There was no tour guide who showed up at the designated spot, we were at the location 20 minutes before. We got a bunch of AI generated texts and pictures. When asked to provide us the tickets, the texts fell silent. Complete scam!!! BEWARE!!!
It’s a short tour. It’s rightfully all about the David. It was spectacular and amazing to see the David up close.
Maria Christina was a fantastic tour guide. She had superior depth and knowledge of the Accademia Tour. We really enjoyed all of her insights and famularity. Highly recommend her to future tourists
Chiara was a great tour guide. She bridged the gap between humor, information, history and awe. The tour was well organized and concise and I highly recommend Chiara.
Our tour guide Vanessa was so passionate and educated. Very special young lady!!! The actual statue of David is impressive and a must see.
The guide provides a nice background of michelango and general Italian art prior to showing the David
The guide provides lots of background information before going to see the David, so you can understand and enjoy this magnificent piece of art.
Alicia was very informative and friendly. Provided interesting facts about the art and artists. She made sure we stood at all the optimal angles. You can’t get that kind of experience with a handheld prerecorded device. Great tour
Fast and easy to enter Accademia. Everyone has a speaker to hear guide clearly. Perfect introduction and interesting facts about the art and artists. Then time to explore on your own.
Lorenzo was our tour guide. Meeting location was a little tricky to find. Very crowded but he did a good job explaining everything.
“Skip The Line” ticket holders still wait in line to enter and go through security but it moves quickly. Having a guide to provide background information on the genius Michaelangelo enhanced the overall experience. Lorenzo was a very informative and “zen” guide, much needed on a busy day.
Touring the Accademia Museum with Maria Cristina was delightful. She was well informed about the statue of David and the exhibits in the remainder of the museum.
Incredible experience. 10/10 it was amazing time learning about Michael Angelo and all the beautiful things that he created. Thank you!
We had a very good guide and she spoke passionately about the David statue. The museum was overall a good experience
