The guide did a wonderful job, but it was very difficult to hear her. The sound devices were of lesser quality than I have v had in other tours around Italy.
Antonio our guide was very knowledgeable. He kind and helpful and shared a lot of interesting facts across the gallery, not just about the Statue of David - which was magnificent.

They did not have our tour on 11/6/26 at 2:35 in English. They said there was a glitch in the Viator app. Asked us to come later. We did and there were no Engish speaking tour guides.

This is a short tour focusing on the masterpieces in the Gallery, especially David. Our guide Rosa had a lot of great information about her “boyfriend” David. She was obsessed with him and Michelangelo’s life and process. Good experience for us. Skipping the line and going in with a guide was a great decision for us.
An incredible, must see experience. Michaelangelo's David alone is worth the price of admission. It must be the single greatest work of art ever created. Our tour guide, Anna, was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the history and artistic significance of each piece. Thank you!
No guide. Person was late showing up and guide would 1 hr later. We had another tour then and couldn't wait. Said he would refund 30% Haven't seen it yet.

The main focus is on the David. Our guide provided an excellent description of the sculpting of the statue. Prior to the David viewing and the sculptors hall, we also had an interesting tour of the musical instrument collection. I used the free time at the end to walk through the sculptor's workshop collection. The tour is only 1.5 hours so it is a nice addition to your other activities in Florence.
There were no more tickets sales for two days but with this tour we were able to get tickets and skip the ONE hour line. Tony our guide was nice and friendly and addressed all of our questions
We felt very rushed. Our guide was a couple minutes late. We were in line for a 9:30 appointment and got into the building at 10 am. The guide was finished at 10:45 am.

The guide (Galya) was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and personable. The focus of the gallery and of the tour is the David , and we spent lots of time noting the details and background stories. The radios worked well. Our 1:55 tour was cancelled that same morning, but we were offered a place in the 12:55 - which thankfully we could do. Although the guide was great, the person who first met us seemed quite unprofessional.

Because it was an excellent tour. Not just because of what was exhibited in the museum, but because we had an excellent tour guide. Finding the meeting point outside the Accademia was a bit tricky, but the guide was excellent (I forgot the name of the lady, but she was an art scholar speaking perfect English and Italian)

I scheduled this visit with enough time in between our arrival to Florence and the start of the tour. I’m glad I was looking through my emails (for something else) when I saw an email from the travel agency advising my picked time was canceled but could I come to another tour that was 30 minutes earlier. We did have time to make that tour but it really was a press. A representative spotted me looking around and looking lost. This part of the experience was a little distressing because I wasn’t sure about a refund from the tour company who cancelled. Our guide was Alfonso. Exceptionally helpful and he thoroughly explained Michelangelo’s history and artistry as well as his relationships with the Popes of his time and the Medici family. Seeing the statue of David and knowing his history is simply amazing.

Galya was an amazing tour guide. I don’t know how many times she’s led that tour, but her passion for the art and for teaching about the David was evident. She wove history, art, & stories together in an engaging fashion that our group of 3 (53, 78, & 16 year old) all thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend this to everyone touring the Galleria Accademia!
This was just ok. The meeting point was a mess. Too many people and forced to stand and wait for a long time with no explanation. The guys weren’t very professional. Felt confusing. Our guide was decent. Our group was too large to understand her very well.

Visiting the Accademia Gallery was easily one of the highlights of our family trip to Florence! Our guide, Galya, was amazingly knowledgeable and kept the whole family entertained and interested throughout the tour. The tour included timed entry tickets and access to the dedicated group lineup, which saved us a massive amount of stress and time standing in the long public queues outside. Once inside, we learned so much about Michelangelo’s life, his techniques, and the fascinating history behind his works. Seeing the statue of David in person was breathtaking, and Galya’s insights made us appreciate it even more. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Florence!
