The audioguide never downloaded, so all we got for our money was a reserved ticket to the museum. The only way you can use the audioguide is by downloading it where you have fast internet access. We were on a ship without internet.

Itinerary
If a tourist wants to see Michelangelo’s David he/she can do it in Piazza della Signoria in front of Palazzo Vecchio or in the middle of Piazzale Michelangelo; if he wants to admire the original, however, he can do it only and exclusively at the Galleria dell'Accademia. The academy closes at 6:15PM. You can stay inside the museum as much time as you like. For example, if you book the tickets at 9,00, you must collect the tickets at 9,00 and enter the museum at 9,00 but you can stay inside until the closing time of the museum. Same if you book tickets at 12,00, you must collect tickets at 12,00 and enter the museum at 12,00. You can't book the tickets at 9,00 and enter the museum at a different time. At the chosen date and time, our Assistant will be in front of the museum to give you your entrance ticket for quick access, ready to explain you all the information you may need for your self guided visit.

The gentlemen that showed up did not have a yellow eat on but my wife saw it under his arm - once checked in he didn't have tickets as he then had to get confirmation we were there and then he left to get tickets and came back and handed them out .... we got in and enjoyed the museum for sure but the service not great
Amazing the history and art plus the Statue of David was overflowing a must see. The skip the line saved valuable time
To download the app ahead of time and bring headphones. Also if you download the app you don’t have to worry about Wi-Fi because you have access to the modules.
I purchased this tour the night before we went as it was the only way to get tickets to the museum. I had forgotten to book them before we left for our trip. The tour itself was fine. We didn't meet with anyone or anything like that. But the information was interesting. I'll admit, it was a bit confusing for some of the pieces in the gallery because the flow of the audio tour didn't match exactly or clearly to the flow in the gallery. But it wasn't so bad. For the most part it was good. The tour didn't go over the musical instruments or upstairs part. I didn't even know about the upstairs until I left when my spouse asked me if I had gone up. He didn't bother with the audio tour. I would say that for the money paid for the audio tour, it should have included these areas. Also note, we had to wait in line to get in, so it wasn't really skip the line. Just to be clear. BUT...it wasn't a 2 or 4 hour wait. If you don't have tickets, you would have to wait for hours. So, in that sense, it is certainly much faster. I think we waited about half an hour. I would say that considering this is an independent audio tour, it was a bit on the expensive side. I essentially paid $30 some odd dollars to download an app and listen to a recording. But we just wanted to get into the museum. If it was anything else, I would not have paid that much. BTW, i wish the final question on this review had a 'don't know' option. I will say yes to recommending this tour, only because it provided a way to get into the gallery last minute, even though I basically paid a premium for this last minute access.
Paulina was exceptional! Knowledgeable, courteous and ensured we saw what we needed to see within the time period. In addition to other insights about the gallery that we would otherwise not known about I would highly recommend this tour.
Very impressive works of art, the David is just perfection, the collection is very organized by eras. You could spend the whole day there just learning different techniques of art!
We really enjoyed this museum and being my moms first one it was truly fascinating for her. I would recommend as the ease of getting tickets and getting through it was great.
Enjoyed having self-guided audio. Allowed us to learn about the various marble statues and paintings yet at our own pace.
The art in the Accademia was excellent and the statue of David is impressive. The app provided plenty of information about the exhibits.
Amazing experience in the acadamia galleria and the David is worth any price of admission. Stunning to see it up close and at all angles!
Stunning experience. Definitely recommend to anyone. The queues were fine. The staff were so friendly. I would definitely go back again
Just a ticket, no guide. If purchased with audio you must program your own phone to their app which is neither user friendly nor in sync with how current exhibits are positioned.
I liked our tour. I learned a lot about sculpture and Florence. Our guide was eager to share her knowledge and was able to give us perspective on the art. The reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 is b/c I feel the name of the tour isn’t accurate. In the tour you talk about the Duomo and learn about the outside but you don’t go into the building.
Unpleasant staff. Price 10 times too expensive compared to the official price of the museum. The application for audio guide not up to date does not work. Don’t buy your tickets or audio guide via this site!
Gardens of Boboli and Palazzo Pitti extraordinary. We can spend the day there. However, you don’t need to book, there are far fewer visitors than in museums and galleries. As for the comments from the audio guides, they are really not very interesting. We could have just walked in with our Firenze card, no skip-the-line and no audio guide.
We chose the Accademia package with audio tour in French. The distribution of tickets went well, but the audio guide was a real disappointment. The voice of the audio guide is a voice generated by Artificial Intelligence, which makes it disturbing to listen to, the throughput is slow and the intonations misplaced. The content was also uninteresting. Little relevant information about the works except a description of what is seen. Little context or history... A little disappointing, especially for the price which is much higher than an entrance ticket and audio guide directly from the museum.
We visited the Academy after booking tickets with audio guides with Get Your Guide. The exchange of reservations to have the tickets on the phone was a little complicated and cumbersome, but it worked; We went to the meeting point and at the reserved time, we checked in without waiting in line, as planned. The surprise came when it was time to pick up the audio guides, when I had to pay for them, when the reservation included them. I tried to explain to the person who provided me with the audio guides that I had already paid for them in my reservation, but it was of no use. How is this possible? We have made several tour reservations with this company and it has always gone well, but this time they have taken us for a ride. Of course, the visit was wonderful and the audio guides were wonderful.
A very rich and beautiful experience, thanks to our guide Pamela. He explained everything very well. It has also helped us book tickets to the Uffizi Museum that we could not get. He has also recommended us a restaurant with homemade food and at a very good price, the restaurant 100 put.
