Tour lead was very knowledgeable and funny and provided a lot of interesting historical information in a very educational manner. The amount of walking was very reasonable. The title of the tour is misleading because you must upgrade to actually visit the Medici Chapel, but also in our case we did not even see the outside of it because our tour ended near Piazza del Duomo. Since my hotel opened to the Medici Chapel I knew we did not get there. Also when trying to meet up with the tour, I didn’t realize I was the only one on the tour so got started a bit concerned I couldn’t find the guide so had to call to find her. A sign would have been helpful.

Visit Piazza della Signoria, another iconic square in Florence, Italy, located near the Arno River. It has been the political and social center of the city throughout its history and is surrounded by several notable buildings and statues. Here are some highlights of Piazza della Signoria: Loggia dei Lanzi: This open-air sculpture gallery is located next to the Palazzo Vecchio. It features a collection of impressive statues, including Benvenuto Cellini's "Perseus with the Head of Medusa" and Giambologna's "Rape of the Sabine Women." Statue of David Replica: A replica of Michelangelo's famous statue of David stands in the Piazza della Signoria, near the entrance of the Palazzo Vecchio. The original statue was moved to the Accademia Gallery to protect it from damage. Fountain of Neptune: Situated at the southern end of the square, this fountain features a large marble statue of Neptune surrounded by various sea creatures and mythological figures.
This medieval fortress-palace is the focal point of the square. It has served as the seat of Florentine government for centuries and now functions as the town hall. The palace is adorned with impressive Renaissance artwork and sculptures, including works by Michelangelo and Donatello.
Dating back to 1290 this Church is one of the most unusual in Florence present as a near perfect square with Gothic marble decoration.
Visit what was once the heart of medieval Florence and even earlier in Roman times when it served as the location of the Forum, the center of the city’s public and commercial life.
Cross the most famous Bridge in Italy, built in the 14th century during the time of the Medici family and visit Via Di Capaccio. Walk the famous former Roman street and admire its many Renaissance & Medieval Towers
Visit the craft market of Loge Del Mercato and the Fountain of the Boar. Visit Via Del Corso and Elisabetta: Home to the oldest Tower in Florence dating back to the 6th or 7th century is located on Via Elisabetta
Piazza del Duomo is the spiritual heart of Florence and the soul of its historic center, declared a Unesco World Heritage Site. The place where you can admire, in a single glance, some of the city's main monuments, in a concentration of history, art and beauty to make your head spin. Indeed, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, with the Dome by Brunelleschi, the Bell Tower by Giotto and the Baptistery face each other here, surrounded by historic buildings and small- and large-sized museums.
Guests will visit the Basilica di San Lorenzo one of the largest churches of Florence, Italy, situated at the center of the main market district of the city, and it is the burial place of all the principal members of the Medici family from Cosimo il Vecchio to Cosimo III. Guests will also visit the incredible Medici Chapels - two chapels built between the 16th and 17th centuries as an extension to the Basilica of San Lorenzo. They are the Sagrestia Nuova, designed by Michelangelo, and the larger Cappella dei Principi, a collaboration between the Medici family and architects.

You must go on this tour. If you have Valentine, you will add to your experience . She is the best! So knowledgeable, so much fun.
Pam, our local guide, was fabulous! She gave us a history lesson! We saw much and learned much and would do it again!
Valentina was a patient and informative guide .she went above and beyond
So when we did this tour it was unseasonably hot, there’s not much shade at the meetup point. Our guide was wearing a dress and clog sandals and it was hard to locate her. She was rude to start but as we began walking she was better. Lots of information provided but with the crowds at times hard to hear.
If we could give our guide, Aldo, 10/5 we would. He was kind, considerate and super knowledgeable. The walk through Florence was amazing as were the Medici Chapels. This was our best tour in Florence by far. Highly recommended.
We booked a small group tour and it ended up just being my husband and me which was a nice surprise. Guisy was a wonderful guide and we enjoyed our morning with her. We learned so much about Florence’s history during The Renaissance and the role of the Medici Family.
Emilia was the absolute highlight of our trip to Florence! Her charm, warmth, and deep passion for her city made every moment unforgettable. She brought history to life with such enthusiasm and insight, making us feel not just like tourists, but like welcomed guests in her hometown. Emilia’s energy and love for her job are contagious — she truly made our Florence trip the best it could be. If you’re visiting Florence, do yourself a favor and book a tour with Emilia. She’s simply the best!
Anthony was the BEST, most fun, most informative guide I’ve ever experienced. Very knowledgeable on ALL the statues, highlights, answered our questions. Knew what was going on in the city, told us more than we could ask for. Highly recommend this guide. Ask for Anthony. We had the most memorable visit to Medici. Best tour ever.

Future tourists won’t regret this experience with Antonio. They will not only learn about the rich culture and history of Florence, but appreciate it even more. They should thoroughly enjoy it for Antonio is personable, passionate, articulate and quite learned. Also they should greatly benefit from his tourist tips, almost worth the price of admission in and of themselves.
Anthony is quite knowledgeable and engaging. He made every step of the tour interesting. I highly recommend him as a tour guide.
