Our tour guide was great! This is a good tour to take at the beginning of your time in Florence because the info was so good. I feel taken advantage of by Trip Advisor. The tour is called Free Tour Florence and because I was booking with not much notice, I paid little attention to the fact that Trip Advisor charged me. The tour guide said she doesn’t receive that $$. I would suggest not booking a tour like this through Trip Advisor since they made $$ on the “free” tour. Guide made her money via tips.

We were so lucky to have Ludi as our guide for our first visit to Florence. She has a fantastic knowledge of her city and its people. She gave us numerous hints on where to go, what could see off the beaten track, food hints, toilets, where to get great views. We have been on lots of walking tours and Ludi has been one of the best.

Natalia was was an excellent tour guide. She had such great knowledge about Florence art, history, and the Medici family. Higher recommend.

Ludi did a wonderful job explaining to us the the rich and colorful history of Florence. Due to heat she craftily keep us in the shade when possible and struck the perfect balance between the quantity of sites and the quality of the explanations. Great tour that I highly recommend!

Even though I had already made other guided tours in the city, I decided to take part in this one as a sort of "goodbye" on my last day in Florence. Of course I hoped to get different information from what I learned on the other tours and that was exactly the case as most of the tour took us through not so touristy streets. Ludovica was a fantastic guide, very open and enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately, was very hard to hear despite mini-speaker that the guide had. We ended up leaving partway through. We noted other tours had headphones, likely a good idea in this busy place. And finally, we paid for this, but it was a "free" tour.

Ludi was a great guide for our walking tour, mixing up key historical facts with fun local information. We had our 3 children (11,14 + 15) with us but they were completely engaged from start to finish. Ludi's English was very good and members of the tour party who had English as an additional language found it easy to follow.

Ludi was our tour guide What a great tour! Ludi was the perfect guide. She was extremely knowledgeable and easily understood. Lot as and lots of detail !!! Good personality! I can only hope to retain half of what she told us. She made the past come alive.

This was a casual tour of Florence with our guide giving us detailed information about history, legacy families and architecture in the city. She was informative and responsive to those on the tour. It is not a strenuous walk, and she gave us safety tips before we started. It is a "pay what you want" tour, the initial small fee is a booking fee so plan to be generous with your tip/fee at the end.

Ludi our tour guide was REALLY good. I could not get over how knowledgeable she was and she expressed it to us with such passion. We saw a lot in the amount of time she had with us. She taught us how to truly look at Italy with Great admiration! I would definitely tell someone to sign up for this tour!

This was a great walking tour of Florence. We had an older gentleman (sorry, I cannot remember his name) and he was very knowledgeable. We got a good overview and he told us some other areas to visit. I will say that if you take this your you should give a generous tip. Other tours we have taken have cost over $100 for the two of us. This just had a booking fee and I noticed at the end some people were tipping 10 Euros for two people! He just walked around Florence in the heat (it was sweltering) and people gave 5 Euros a piece? Wow!

We where There IT was good trip. IS was interesting. We where visit Ing old city center of Florenze.

This tour cost €5. Our guide Reno ( older gentleman with raeburn sunglasses) was very knowledgeable and nice to begin with. However this changed at the end of the tour when he said show your appreciation. Everyone clapped and I went know my ourse and gave him a further €5, he commented this was not much for 2 people. My colleague then gave a further €5. He made a face and muttered some sort of derogatory comment in Italian. At this point we both walked away in disgust. This was a good tour apart from the guides expectance of further payment. Be aware !!

One of the best walking tours I've done. Our guide was so informative, answered any questions we had and you can tell that she had a passion for the city of Florence. She gave us great advice on where to eat and drink and even the best free toilet 🤣 Would highly recommend to anyone who visits Florence.

Booked so my friend could get a little history since it was his first visit. Our guide was Ryan(?), a bit older gentleman 1ho was so knowledgeable and actually walked slow enough to keep our group of about 15 together (not easy!). We had the annual marathon to deal with but he made the tour seamless and enjoyable. Highly recommend and, dont forget to tip your guides!!

Good walking tour, with major history topics, with some details and city highlights. Given the history background of the city, I was expecting more but it was ok.

Best way to see and understand Florence is to take this walking tour. Our guide Natalia, is a local and knows the ins and outs of Florence and had wonderful tips. She also brought to life the history and culture of Florence.

Eleanor or Ella as she likes to be called, was our tour guide. This is not your usual tour with seeing only the famous places. But actually a tour where we see some of the hidden gems of Florence. She had a fun way of showcasing the history of the city and made us aware as to how the city has changed through time. As Ella is Florentine she has a lived experience of the city which she shared with us. There were also two food tasting stops, with tips about local cuisine.

Thank you very much for the wonderful tour and the extraordinary tour guide. We really enjoyed our walk around Firenze and Camilla taught us a lot about its history. A great experience.

On our first day in Florence my husband and I decided to take a free tour to learn about the area. Eleonora led us through Florence and explained stories that we would not have known. It was very interesting and at the end, she also recommended several restaurants and foods to try. I would recommend the tour if you have 2 hours available when visiting.

Had a great time! Just the culture and history we hoped to experience, along with helpful and honest recommendations from our expert host, Julia. Coming out of the tour we have a list of more to see, do and eat. Our only surprise, was that we thought we would see more in 2 hrs, but appreciate the detail we got that may not have been as possible with covering more. Overall great experience - would highly recommend.
