Enjoy Florence As A Family-friendly Experience

Florence Ripping the tourists, I’ll never come back. Scam traffic tickets cost me $1400. Apparently cameras but no traffic warning signs. Family vacation. Rented car. Got home received 4 scam traffic tickets. 1 apparently for 2km over 40 limit. 1 yr later had to pay collection agency $1400 who said it is happening multiple people visiting the Florence area.

Letizia is an AMAZING tour guide. I am not a real art/history person and she made it sooo interesting. We had so much fun and learned a lot. She is very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. If you have the option to have her as your tour guide you should do it. She will do a great job!

Our whole family really enjoyed this tour. We all learned a lot and Letizia kept both the 15 and 10 year old engaged and interested. Our 10 year old could still remember facts a couple days later, very impressed! We were able to customize the tour to include a visit to see the highlights of the Accademia gallery, many sights of Florence and stopped for delicious gelato. We went back for more the next day...

Letizia is knowledgeable, warm and friendly. She kept our 3 teenage children very engaged with questions centered around their knowledge in art and history. The Uffizi collection is enormous but she was able to guide us through by focussing on key elements. She also took us to the Accademia Gallery which was also very inspiring. Family of 5 from Canada

Letizia was a perfect tour guide for our family. She could speak very good French and English. she was very knowledgeable about history but also art. She took us to places we would never have visited by ourselves but also took us to the iconic monuments of the city and gave us very interesting explanations. She was very interesting for both adults and teenagers. Communication to organize the tour was very easy via messenger. I highly recommend her.

We went for a c.2.5 hours walk around the historic center of Florence with Letizia and our two kids aged 11 and 6. Great experience, especially for the kids who had never been there before. Letizia was able to get them interested in the key historic landmarks and the way life used to be in Florence across the centuries, using interesting anecdotes and games. Fun visit for us adults too, with lots of discoveries despite having been in town a number of times already. Would warmly recommend. Grazie Letizia!

We had the pleasure of taking a tour of Florence with Letizia to show the city to our children aged 5 and 8. It was phenomenal, as she made art and history very accessible for them! Letizia kept our children's attention throughout the entire tour, using supplementary materials to help them visualize what medieval Florence was like and creating a game to find symbols and classic pieces of art. We also had the opportunity to visit the various neighborhoods of the city and learn about the crafts. I highly recommend her for anyone wanting a beautiful tour of Florence with their family.

I went to the Uffizi on Sunday 28 January with my family and some friends. Our guide Letizia Scarpelli made the visit special. Our 10 year old children had a playful but at the same time educational experience thanks to his guidance. I highly recommend this visit with her 🤗

Letizia was very good: she prepared a complete itinerary, carefully choosing the number of works of art that the children were able to support and creating a chronological itinerary of the history of art from Cimabue to Michelangelo. The visit was always interactive and the children participated joyfully without ever showing signs of boredom. Great competence and interpersonal skills. We adults also had a lot of fun and discovered details and information that can't be found in tourist guides. We will definitely contact her to have her again as a guide for us and our children in other museums.

Our tour guide Letizia followed us on our visit to the Uffizi and directed us very well, arousing curiosity and interest! I must say that I had already visited the Museum other times in the past but with her it was more felt and participated!

We had the chance to do 2 visits over 2 days as a family with Letizia (a city tour and a visit to the Uffizi Gallery). The format was really great with our 2 teenagers aged 12 and 15. Letizia is very pleasant and she put herself completely at their (and our) level, we learned a lot of things, it was fascinating from start to finish. Clearly this is the moment that the children preferred in our week in Florence. One regret is not having also visited the Pitti Palace with Letizia during the week :-). Perfect moments! Thanks a lot!

Letizia is very good. She arranged for us to have a three-hour tour, as we had requested, between the city and the Uffizi. She was able to involve us and our children, aged 11 and 13, telling anecdotes, stories, details and selecting the monuments and then the works inside the museum, making the visit very interesting and not heavy at all. She was helpful and took care to know our expectations and preferences to organize the visit at best. We were all delighted and sorry to have booked only half a day. In addition, Letizia was very kind in suggesting and giving us directions to continue independently another small tour of the city. Experience to repeat!

I gave my 5-year-old daughter for her birthday a game tour through the squares of beautiful Florence. It was a fantastic experience because our very prepared and sweet guide Letizia made us live fantastic stories and principles, made us have fun with the treasure hunt and much more; in short, an experience that I recommend to everyone and why not a fun and original gift for our children! My daughter was very excited about her gift! A special thanks to Letizia who made this magical moment that we will remember forever!

For the second time we contacted Letizia for our trip to Florence and again we were thrilled! With sympathy, kindness and professionalism Letizia made our young people (9, 12, 13 and 15 years old) discover the most important works of the Uffizi and accompanied us for a walk in the center focused on the figure of Leonardo Da Vinci, combined with the history of the city. We made two visits with Letizia and enjoyed it very much. He is a pleasant and prepared person who adapts to young and old. It allowed us to learn more about the city by telling us anecdotes as well as historical facts. I highly recommend it to anyone!

If we could give six stars we would. We already knew Florence as a family and wanted to go further in visiting the city and its Renaissance treasures. Letizia was a well of knowledge. Not only does she love her city, she also knows every corner of it. We were two teenagers (13 and 16): She got to their level without difficulty. We recommend Letizia without hesitation.

Extraordinary visit to the Uffizi Gallery with my children. It was very interesting to discover the works of the museum with such a passionate guide as Letizia.

Letizia guided me and my three children aged 10, 8 and 5 to walk around Florence and proposed small activities to the children to do: treasure hunt, drawings and riddles keeping their attention alive throughout the tour. The visit to the Boboli Gardens with Letizia was interesting for us and the children of our friends, she told us anecdotes and curiosities about the Medici and Florence

We met Letizia at Piazzale Michelangelo and with our children aged 9 and 12 we went down to the old bridge knowing a more unusual Florence with gardens and craftsmen. Recommended with children!

In January we made a private visit with my sister and her daughter to the Uffizi Gallery and it was superb! Letizia was energetic and patient, engaged my niece with activities and games. She had a lot of fun. It was a rewarding experience even for us adults.

Letizia this morning at the uffizi was for the children (and also for us adults 😉) an exceptional guide! Professional and charismatic, she really made us go back in time and passionate about art. Experience absolutely to repeat!

We participated with my two grandchildren in the guided tour of Dante's Florence. It was very interesting, discovering stories and places of our city that we did not know. Letizia was very good with the boys, she knew how to involve them all the time. I would definitely recommend a visit with her!
