We had a beautiful day for a ride. Our guide Per was knowledgeable and did not rush the tour. The farm for lunch was lovely and they provided a nice tour of their business and operations. It was nice to go to a small family run farm.

This was a fantastic way to spend a day in Florence and Tuscany. Trip Advisor used a company called "We Like Tuscany." Our guide, Alessandro was great. He provided a wealth of information about various topics including the history of Florence, botany, and the sociology of Italy. Lunch and wine tasting were at a beautiful villa and estate.
My husband and I had an absolutely incredible time on our bike tour through Tuscany! Riding through the beautiful rolling hills, surrounded by stunning landscapes and charming countryside, was an unforgettable experience. Every turn offered another breathtaking view, and it was such a wonderful way to experience the beauty of Tuscany. One of the highlights was stopping at Marta’s house for a delicious lunch, olive oil and wine tasting. It was such a special, authentic experience that made the day even more memorable. And our guide, Per, was simply incredible! He was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the entire experience so enjoyable. His passion and enthusiasm really made the tour extra special. We couldn’t have asked for a better day and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Florence. It was the perfect combination of beautiful scenery, delicious food and wine, and an exceptional guide. An experience my husband and I will remember for years to come!
Amazing. So beautiful and a great way to see the city and country side. Guide was awesome also!
We had a wonderful daylong e-bike tour of Tuscany, with interesting history of Florence and the region shared by our guide Edoardo. Paired with an olive oil and wine tasting lunch and tour of a boutique organic vineyard, La Pia, on a gorgeous day, this was a highlight of our trip! The partnership between the vineyard and tour company was genius. Such a fun and active way to immerse ourselves in the culture and see the region, plus the personal vineyard tour and lunch wer fabulous. Highly recommend! Only two challenges: 1) Finding the meeting place was challenging (no signage on or around the closed gate). Thankfully, we had scoped it out a few days in advance - thanks to Google Maps. 2) Riding proficiency of attendees was varied, and there were struggles for some to operate the bikes as we headed into the hills. All in all, this is a not-to-be missed experience!
We had an excellent e-bike tour with Alessandro and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to get out of Florence and experience the Tuscan countryside. The riding was moderately strenuous but very enjoyable, and the visit to the small family-run organic farm and winery was a highlight. The winery has a wonderful story, and the tasting was excellent. Alessandro was a terrific guide and made the entire experience memorable.

This tour was the highlight of our week in Italy! Our guide, Ale, had a lot of great historical and cultural details to share, and was very personable and easy to talk to. The bikes were in great condition, the route was beautiful (quite long — about 10 miles each way), and our winery lunch was FANTASTIC. We toured the farm, did a wine and olive oil tasting, and met the hilarious owner of the property. We had just a group of five, which was perfect for getting to know each other… we ended up going out for drinks with the other two people afterward! You won’t regret this tour!!
This was an incredibly enjoyable day, absolutely the best things we did in Florence, and ranking as one of the most fun things I have ever done in Italy l,and I have been here at least on 10 separate trips. Our guide Ali, was smart, interesting, charming and created a great atmosphere. The ride through town and the countryside was full of interesting and entertaining stories. The lunch at the farm was great, all fresh food and wine, with great hosts. I can't say enough about this tour, and note, they only take up to 8, ours was six, so you really felt included. This was worth every penny and then some!
Superb tour of Florence and the surrounding Tuscan countryside, pace and number of stops was perfect. Claudio was extremely knowledgeable and had a lovely story telling style. The lunch stop was amazing, beautiful surroundings and super wine tasting and traditional Tuscan food. Highly recommend this tour, the e biking was great fun too!
Hands down the best experience in Italy so far. Our guide Luca was charming and informative, the ride out into Tuscany and back was beautiful, and lunch, winetasting and. Tour of the farm exceeded all expectations. Fabulous storytelling by the owners. Outstanding experience — highly recommended!
Fantastic e-bike tour with breathtaking views of Florence around every bend. Our guide brought the history to life with great storytelling, and the family-run winery was incredible; amazing food, wine, and olive oil. A truly memorable experience!
Amazing day away from the crowded city & tourist sights. Fun making our way through the Tuscan countryside winding roads and rolling hills with ease on e-bikes. Ale was an amazing guide, sharing a lot about the culture. Felt like a friend taking us to his family’s villa. Marta, owner of the winery and olive farm was welcoming and engaging. The buildings were beautiful and multi-course lunch relaxing. I highly recommend. It was the best day of our Florence trip.
Beautiful scenery on our way to a wonderful family winery. There we had olive and wine tasting and a delicious light lunch from items from her garden. Our guide gave us information along our stops, very interesting and informative. You will not be disappointed in this tour. We had a group of 6.
What a unique and rewarding experience! Highly recommend an e bike tour with this company in Florence. The ride was 3 or 4 hours total with stunning views of Tuscany landscape and stop at a winery for lunch. The small group guide Joseph was terrific! Joseph was patient, supportive and clearly prioritized safety of the group. I never rode an e bike and had not ridden a bike in close to 20 years. If you follow the guides instructions you will have a truly unforgettable, positive experience! Joseph prepares you for any tough climbs and provides beginners confidence without overconfidence. Thank you Joseph!
It was an excellent experience. Perfect distant and beautiful countryside. The vineyard and the lunch was excellent. We found the bikes user friendly for those not used to e-bikes. The seats were not terribly comfortable, except my husband's (her brought his own). Would do this again in a minute.
A wonderful experience from beginning to end, made all the more special by our superb guide, Jacobo. He is a remarkable ambassador for this region and for his country, speaking with love and respect for Italy’s history, traditions and food.
This tour was the highlight of our trip to Italy and the best bike tour we’ve ever been on!! Ale was an amazing, charismatic, and informative guide and we learned so much not just about Florence, but Italy in general from the perspective of a local. It was truly one of a kind and a must do if you are visiting Florence. Also, the bike tour itself was stunning, and the winery where we stopped for lunch was absolutely beautiful, and filled with so much history and natural beauty. Food and wine was excellent as well - we will definitely be going back the next time we visit Florence.
This was the highlight of our trip to Italy. Claudio was a wonderful guide. Very informative, fluent English and made it an inclusive and fun experience. The scenery was breathtaking and with two college age boys the activity was a perfect blend of experiential learning and physical activity. Lunch at the winery/farm was an amazing experience. We felt like we were part of our tour group family and Marta and Joe’s family. Overall an amazing day and best part of our trip.
We had the best experience with “We Like Tuscany” on our E-bike Chianti Classico and Tuscany tour. What really separates “We Like Tuscany” from the other bike tour companies is they only do small groups to create a very intimate experience. Our tour guide Alessandro was the nicest, most personable, and most knowledgeable tour guide during our time in Italy. He was very patient with us and went at a pace comfortable for us. When we would stop he never rushed us and answered all our questions. He provided information about the history of Italy and Florence, the culture of Tuscany, information about the trees and land, about the grapes and olives and the wine and olive oil making process. He took us on the most beautiful and peaceful roads with great views of Florence and Tuscany. It really allowed us to get the true Tuscany experience. Then we had the most delightful lunch and olive oil tour at Torre Bianca with the most wonderful guide Camilla. She gave us a tour around a true Tuscany farm and how they make their renowned olive oil. Then provided a wonderful tasting of different kinds of olive oil. Their wine was our favorite wine in Italy. We will be coming back to Italy to do a tour with “We like Tuscany” as they were the best tour in Florence and Italy. Cannot recommend enough!
Yesterday's full day ebike ride through Tuscany with Jacopo of We Like Tuscany bike tours was a true highlight! Jacopo led us through backcountry roads winding through the hills to a fantastic restaurant where Machiavelli lived and wrote, offering a unique historical connection. The food was magnificent, a true taste of authentic Tuscan cuisine, and the wine? Absolutely terrific. Jacopo was a fantastic guide, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. For a unique blend of stunning scenery, delicious food and wine, and a fascinating glimpse into history, we highly recommend bike tour with We Like Tuscany Bike tours.. It was an absolutely wonderful day!
We highly recommend this tour! We had an incredible time ! It was fun to ride the e-bikes and the tour guide Jacomo was fabulous -informative and humorous ! He taught us bike and riding safety which truly made us feel at ease as we had not experienced biking in such terrain. We enjoyed the beautiful landscape and we rode and stopped for some scenic overlooks with wonderful information from our guide. The lunch and farm tour was like out of a movie set! La Pia! We enjoyed a delicious organic lunch made by our host Marta. She served several courses all food and spices from her own farm! The wine and olive oil tasting was superb . The other riders on our tour were so enjoyable and we had a great time relaxing and talking and enjoying all the food wine and new friends!! We finished with coffee and desserts . Pleasant ride back and lots of laughs! It was nice to escape from the busyness of Florence. I cannot wait to return and repeat this bike trip!
Had a wonderful time touring the Chianti region on this 30km ebike tour. Toto was an amazing guide who made sure we were comfortable about our bikes and was full of information. The ride through the hills, up to a monastery, and ultimately to the wine and olive oil farm was so scenic and special. Marta was a perfect hostess at La Pia winery and our lunch was wonderful. The wine was delicious and we were looking for it in subsequent days. We ended up buying some of her tasty olive oil that we sampled with each lunch course and continued on our way after easy conversation and espresso. The ride back to Florence was amazing and luckily, mostly downhill. This was one of the highlights days of the trip I took with my two sons, ages 26 and 22. I highly recommend bike shorts as if you are not used to being in the saddle all day, there will be soreness. Well worth the time and money!
Our ride up to Marta's vineyard and olive farm in Percussina was possibly the highlight of a wonderful week in Florence. Marta was great fun and a fantastic chef. Jakopo, our guide, was great company and a font of information about the city, the countryside and Marta and Joe's wine- and olive-making business. We enjoyed wonderful views and glorious countryside in fantastic weather. Glad we had electric bikes though!
Great ride on wonderful less travelled roads in Tuscany. Olive oil tour and tasting was so good and super personal. Highly recommend.
Incredible! So much better than the description describes. Our guide was amazing. The lunch was so special and unexpectedly beautiful
Excellent tour. Allesandro was amazing and the lunch and location was spectacular. Best surprise in terms of exceeding expectaitons of our entire trip.
Our guide Jack was very well informed on the history of Florence and kept a close watch over the safety of the riders in the group. My wife and I cannot say enough about the choice of winery visited. La Pia had amazing history, great wine, great food and fantastic hosts. Martha and Joe have done an outstanding job of restoring their property and should rightly be proud of what they have accomplished. From our travels around Italy it was one of the top highlights of our vacation. Thanks to Viator for that. Everyone should visit La Pia winery.
This E-bike tour full day with vineyard lunch was one of the best tours I have ever been on… I was an international flight attendant for a major American airline..(not AA) for 37 years and I have been on hundreds of tours all over the world. This tour was fantastic. Claudio was our guide. His is sweet, intelligent and FUN! Not boastful ever and has information from agriculture to ancient times, religion and suggestions for out of the way and interesting must see sites not listed or explained in the published tour guides or websites. We learned so much more about the history of Tuscany and Florence as he is a Native born Florentine and passionate about the culture. The ride is pretty easy only “one big hill” to climb before the lovely lunch stop at the vineyard. The vineyard is also such a treat!!! GORGEOUS! Lunch was 100% the wine was the best! I would take the tour again if we had the time this trip…I will bring whomever I’m with next time I’m in Tuscany and I will tell everyone I know that is going to Florence this is a must do!
Claudio and Toto were perfect tour guides. Marta was the perfect hostess and lunch was delicious. The bike tour was well planned and tons on fun. I found myself laughing out loud. A highlight of our trip. Book it!
This was a superb way to spend our first day in Florence. We climbed to a Birds Eye view of the city, enjoyed a wonderful olive oil and wine tasting lunch at an organic farm with a fascinating history and enjoyed back roads and paths in Florence. And all from bikes! (E bike newbie here since my husband only wanted an e bike. Not gonna lie I enjoyed the assist on particularly steep sections). Toto and Claudio were great guides - kept the group together and safe.
This is definitely a must tour! We were a group of 8 plus our 2 amazing Tour Guides: Alessandro and Daniel. We would like to thank them for making our trip unforgettable. They were very attentive to ensure your bike fit perfectly. We stopped many times to enjoy the Tuscany countryside. The Vineyard - La Pia - was exceptional with the owner welcoming us like family. No question - this tour was more than we could have hoped for. Thank you from your Canadian friends!
This experience (on a big birthday) was incredible. Alfonso was a great guide - great info, humor, and care throughout the 7+ hour day. The bikes were great quality and the electric assist was priceless! I can’t recommend this company enough. The leisurely lunch with wonderful local foods and the wine and olive oil learning was incredible too … Camilla, the olive oil expert, was fantastic and so welcoming to her farm. I will do this tour again!!
This trip was so much fun! Our guide Ale was extremely knowledgable and kind. We started in the city, then rode to the tuscan countryside. Gorgeous scenery and the e bikes make the ride very easy and enjoyable. Overall one of our favorite activities we've done in Italy. Definitely recommend, its well worth the cost and time.
Jacobo was THE BEST tour guide. He was so knowledgeable about the history, culture and natural history of the Florence/Tuscany area. He was also appropriately concerned for our safety, giving an excellent e-bike orientation ( I had never ridden one) and gave tips on how to ride on the roads safely. Lunch at the La Brama de’la Pia winery was delicious, and although Marta, the owner, was ill, she still cooked a wonderful meal and Jacapo was lovely as he helped her by serving and explaining about all the food, olive oil , and wine. Great experience. DO THIS ADVENTURE!
A truly amazing day and great experience. Biking, views, picture taking, lunch (beyond!) and spectacular guide (Andrea) were all way above expectations!
Alessandro was an amazing guide! He was extremely knowledgeable about Florence and was able to answer all of our questions. He took us to numerous lookout points for great views and really went above and beyond for us. We LOVED the winery, La Pia, that we went to and cannot recommend enough. We will 100% be coming back if we can!
Feel just like in the movies! Bike through great scenery with a very nice and informative guide, excellent cuisine and wine! Best tour of our lifes!
Hands-down one of the most fun experiences during my 10 days in Italy. These guys bent over backwards to make sure we had a great time. The day we went for our ride, it unexpectedly ended up raining for several hours (lightly, at least). But the group was in great spirits, as was our guide, Toto. We had a blast all the way up to the vineyard, and the staff there treated us to an amazing meal (and blankets to warm up!). Highly, highly recommend going with We Like Tuscany if you want to bike the gorgeous Tuscan countryside and have fun doing it.
Our e-bike tour with Jacopi was a highlight for our time in Florence. From start to finish we enjoyed every minute. The scenery was magical and the food, drink was something we will never forget. I highly recommend this company!
Excellent tour! Ebikes were super fun and a great relaxing way to see a part of Tuscany for the day. We really appreciated that they didn't cancel even though we were the only group booked for the day we went. Jacopo was our guide and super fun and knowledgeable about Florence, olive oil, wine. We stopped at a small farm for wine and lunch and it was probably the best pasta dish we had in our week in Italy! Definitely book this tour!
This by far was my favorite part about the trip. Tuscany is beautiful and the bike ride was amazing. Andrea, our tour guide, made the experience perfect. He was an awesome guide to have.
No hills, easy ride even for the seldom rider. Fantastic lunch, great company excellent guide in Lorenzo. Seriously if your looking at doing this don't hesitate just book and go, you'll love it.
My husband and I were the only two on the tour, and our guide was perfectly happy and enthusiastic to share his knowledge. It is a well thought out day and we ended up buying some olive oil at the farmhouse, after sampling it at the restaurant. We also bought a bottle at the monastery, Bring a backpack with you.
This sounded like a great idea in theory for us to do on our Florence vacation. I was worried, though, that it would rain or it would be too long a day. I did wait until the week before to book it so that I had a general weather forecast. We did go in March, so I don't know if that would work during a busy season. I was very relieved when we all had a great time. It was everyone's favorite part of our Florence vacation, although we were a little sore the next day. The tour guides were fun, and the countryside was beautiful. I'd never been on a winery tour before and did expect a little more, like walking through the vineyard, but the wine and oil tasting was interesting and good. The lunch ambience was fantastic--a quaint town and charming restaurant--although I would have liked to have ordered off a menu instead of the guide ordering 2 entree options for the group. I definitely recommend this tour for the right person. I would not recommend it for someone who is not comfortable on a bike or who is very out of shape. I certainly am not a "biker". I only bike on vacation, and it's usually a one-speed with a basket in front with my flip-flops on a bike trail. But all of us are generally athletic and are in okay shape. There is one small hill, but the rest is a gorgeous downhill ride. At the end of the tour, you do have to bike through the city next to traffic. It was a little harrowing in a couple spots, and I was glad my kids were coordinated and not little. Yet, I would still take this tour again because it was something different and fun to do, and to see the gorgeous Tuscan hills this way was breathtaking.

Bill was fantastic! My wife and I had such a fantastic time on this downhill incredibly scenic leisurely ride. Bill is iso knowledgeable and friendly. In his 23 years in Florence (he's originally from Seattle) he seems to have gotten to know everybody! So fun! Our favorite activity in Florence!

Best tour of the week. Down hill through the Tuscan hills and then through Florence with a stop for a wonderful lunch. Our guide Freddy was great, very knowledgeble and with the small groups plenty of time to talk. Every one we met from the tour company was friendly .Worth every penny. Good choice to take the down hill trip for moderate bikers. Nice day... Hats off to Freddy

Great fun, wine, and food. The tour guide was great.

This was a great addition to our city experience of Florence. Our guide, Jacopa, was interested and interesting. He let the group set the pace, and adapted the ride to our group's needs without being over-attentive. The tour included the best lunch of our time in Florence at a small restaurant frequented by locals, and provided fantastic scenery of the Tuscan hills. Finally, in response to a request from the teenager in the group, we stopped for some delicious gelato on the way back into Florence. Jacopa, what was the name of that gelato shop? We want to go back!

After dragging my poor husband through 3 days of museums, this trip was a very welcome break! The tour was definitely one of the highlights of our fabulous Florence vacation. Lunch was extra-special, the view from Fiesole unforgettable, and the relaxing bike ride was just what we needed. Many thanks to Jacope, Johnny and Bill for an entertaining and informative day. We'll definitely be back .... cheers from Germany!
