Itinerary
The cooking school will start around 10:30 in the morning, but not before we have gotten to know each other, talked a bit, and perhaps taken a short tour of the farm property where we can admire our olive grove and the field where I grow saffron. Then, together, we will learn to make homemade pasta, using our herbs from the garden and our extra virgin olive oil. We will also learn how to create different pasta shapes (tagliatelle, ravioli). I will teach you how to prepare the dough to make bread and Schiacciata and how to have many different recipes from this very versatile dough. We will prepare a complete menu including appetizers, first courses, second courses, side dishes and dessert and we will sip some good local wine, perhaps a nice Chianti from the area! Then after cooking if the weather permits... we will enjoy lunch outdoors in the garden overlooking the vineyards and olive trees immersed in the nature of Chianti... there is nothing more relaxing and satisfying than enjoying the peace and the tranquility that the Tuscan countryside can give us!! Our farm stands at the top of a hill surrounded by vineyards, olive trees and 360 degree woods, therefore an oasis of guaranteed relaxation!!

We had a fantastic cooking class with Fabrizio as our instructor! We were honored to be welcomed to his family home, and the class was held outside with sprawling views of the Tuscan countryside. The class was perfectly timed, with ample time for hands-on cooking as well as breaks to enjoy the views with snacks and wine. The pasta making was particularly fun, and we got great tips and tricks that made us feel prepared to take the new knowledge back home. We also got a cookbook sent at the end with all of the recipes. We could tell how much Fabrizio and his family love what they do, and it felt like a real authentic experience with Italian cooking. Would highly recommend!
Camilla and her family were very welcoming. She was an excellent cooking instructor. She took us through the steps one at a time in a way that we could understand and accomplish. She had a great sense of humor and looked like she enjoyed her job. There were 12 in our group with people from many US states. We all had plenty of food with more to spare. We made 2 pasta dishes, 2 kinds of bread and dessert. Their own wines and Olive Oil brought a great taste to the meal. The road was a bit difficult to get to the farm because of a very bumpy hill. Great experience. Highly recommend
Intimate class and a beautiful setting. Camilla is a wonderful and fun teacher! The class instruction, food and wine was great. This class is worth the drive.
Great location with great views and a great cooking instructor! The homemade food, olive oil and the wine were amazing! I would highly recommend this cooking class!
What an amazing experience! Camilla taught us how to make homemade pasta from scratch, and we loved every minute of it. We made tortellini, flatbread, focaccia with freshly picked Sangiovese grapes, and zucchini and cheese skewers. We were lucky to have beautiful weather, and Camilla treated us to her own white and red wines and delicious olive oil. We felt genuinely welcomed and had her undivided attention throughout the experience. Her warmth, hospitality, and passion made the day feel very special—not just a cooking class, but a wonderful Tuscan memory. Highly recommend—100%!
If you are planning a trip to Florence then this experience is an absolute must. Set amongst vineyards and olive groves I doubt that you could find a more idyllic setting to prepare and then eat your lunch . Cami is a wonderful host and we can't wait to return home and try out some of her cooking tips and recipes. I guarantee that you will enjoy yourselves.
What a lovely experience. The presentation and the level of expertise was fabulous. Cami was a wonderful presenter that made it easy to cook our Italy food. The pace was excellent and the group had a blast. The venue was lovely and the food excellent.
This is a wonderful cooking class in a beautiful location. It was very informative and so fun! We got a book of recipes that I can’t wait to try at home.
We did 6 different dishes, with the teacher having us to some of the work and she doing other of the work so the class moved along. The instructions were clear and the food was great. And, to top it off, the teacher and her entirely family went above and beyond to help us when our car got stuck going up a steep gravel road after we left.
What an amazing day! Fabrizio was a fantastic host and the entire experience was fun, educational, informative and delicious. Definitely worth the admission fee. Location is fantastic - stunning views across Fabrizio's vineyard and olive fields. Cooking outdoors made it extra special. Receiving the cookbook by email after the event was an extra nice surprise. We will be trying out the recipes at home. We were a group of 6 in total. We are a family of 3 and we shared the experience with a family of 3 from Boston (USA). Even our teenage son enjoyed it and said it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Also, Fabrizio's wine, olive oil, olive grappa and honey are incredible. Bought loads to take home with us. Delicious. Thanks again Fabrizio - you made it such a fun day.
We had such a fun experience while on vacation in the Tuscany region. It was way more than I expected.
GO HERE!!! Camilla is absolutely wonderful! Only 30 minutes outside of Florence! The views are spectacular, the food is delicious, and the host family is soooo kind and friendly! The experience felt so authentic. They get all their food and produce locally, not at supermarkets. We had so much fun and the biggest the class can be is 12 people, so It felt intimate and special! You cook and eat outside on their farm overlooking the rolling hills of Tuscany - you can’t beat this unique experience! They have other excursions like truffle hunting with Camilla’s son and one of their dogs! I would go back every day if I could!!! The family let the group stay well past the time It said online, just to let us enjoy the company, food and farm. I will absolutely join this wonderful family again on my next trip to Italy!
It was a wonderful experience! A highlight of our trip. Couldn’t say enough about the hosts and the food.
When in Italy cooking is a must to get the full experience. Non- better than Cooking with Cami. Camilla was a very gracious hostess and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. She made you ‘Familia’. The food we prepared was delicious and their own pressed wines were amazing. Highly recommended. I want to go back!!
We went on our honeymoon and this was one of the best things we did! He was very nice, helpful, and made us feel welcomed. I highly recommend anyone in the area taking this class! Their farm was also beautiful!
My husband and I booked a truffle hunt for our first visit to Italy. The truffle hunt was awesome! We learned so much about truffles and really enjoyed watching the dog sniff them out. Later we walked back to such a Beautiful family farm and met the Romoli family. Fabrizzio set out cooking areas for our small group on a wooden table overlooking the vineyards and olive trees. It was such a peaceful setting. He took us step by step in making our pasta. My husband is not a cook and even he was successful at making fresh pasta. Fabrizzio gathered up all the pasta, cooked it and paired it with an amazing sauce and topped it with the fresh truffles we found that day. Prior to dinner, his family prepared an Amazing Charcuterie board filled with fresh meats, cheeses, breads and homemade oils and honey!!! We were also treated to homemade red and white wines and for desert his daughter made a delicious Apple crumble! To finish the meal, his son brought in some homemade liquor to sample which was just the perfect finishing touch! I didn't want to leave this paradise! The hospitality and food was Incredible!!! We even were able to purchase items and have them shipped back home. You definitely want to book a day here. You will not regret it!!!
Camilla has a beautiful farmhouse that looks over a carpet of Olive trees and grape vines. We made pasta, bread and more! Sat outside and had wine and had more food than you could imagine! There was one other couple so it was a very intimate setting. We loved it! She is a fabulous person. A highlight of our stay! Thanks Camilla!❤️
Camille is a very warm and encouraging cooking teacher and host. The farm wasalso very nice. was an unforgettable experience.
We had an amazing time cooking at the beautiful Tuscan farm. Camilla and her family were so welcoming and by the end of our experience, we all felt like family. I highly recommend this class!
This was one of the BEST experiences my wife and I have ever had. Absolutely worth it. Camilla took us in and made us feel like part of the family. My wife went to culinary school, while I could ruin pouring milk on cereal and she made us BOTH have an amazing time. The food was amazing, and the company was even better. My only recommendation would be to do this last, because everything else is going to be downhill from here.
We had an amazing experience taking a cooking class in Tuscany. The setting was beautiful, and the hosts were warm, welcoming, and very knowledgeable. We made delicious traditional dishes using fresh local ingredients, and the hands-on experience made it both fun and easy to follow. Camille and her husband were the best hosts.
We had an amazing time at Camilla’s family farm cooking class. She was super friendly and very patient with all of our children. We made two different kinds of bread and pastas that were super fresh and delicious and topped it off with her family red wine. It was such a wonderful day and a memory we’ll cherish. Thank you!
The family was super nice. It was a chilly day so we were inside. They were very well prepared and the food was delicious. I will feel confident making tortellini at home now. It was on the expensive side for what we did. That the only negative
This was a lovely cooking experience in Tuscany. There were 8 of us traveling together, including a one-year-old, and a high chair was provided, which was great! During the class we learned how to make focaccia, bread, two types of pasta, and a dessert — a very full and satisfying menu! Because of the time of year, the class and meal took place indoors and lasted about 4 hours. Chef Camilla was wonderful: warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable, which made the experience even more enjoyable. After the class, we were sent all the recipes and are excited to recreate them at home! A small note for travelers: the roads leading up to the location are quite bumpy, so a 4WD vehicle is ideal. While the experience was very good, it did feel somewhat overpriced compared to similar cooking classes we’ve done in other regions of Italy that were about half the cost and equally good. Overall, it was a great activity in Tuscany and we enjoyed a delicious, memorable meal together!
I cannot express how happy I was with our experience. The ladies were so warm and welcoming in their home. We brought along 4 kids ranging from 1yo to 16yo and all were able to participate in some fashion throughout the afternoon. Having a high chair on hand to keep the parents' hands free to cook and stay engaged. With a yard surrounding, the kids were also able to take breaks and get their energy out. The food was wonderful and getting to enjoy the fruits of your labor in a beautiful location is simply the perfect Tuscan experience (paired with great wines made from their own harvest).
Amazing cooking class with beautiful views! Camilla was a wonderful teacher and Fabrizzio’s wine and Amaro were delicious! To have experienced Saffron fresh from the garden in every dish was sublime! Highly recommend!
If you’re looking for a cooking class in Chianti, book this one! This is the last day of our time in Tuscany and we are so glad we chose to spend it at this beautiful farm. Camilla will welcome and instruct you in basic pasta and bread-making techniques all while you enjoy her farm produced olive oil and wine (both delicious). Her lessons are well-planned and well-executed. Her warmth and sense of humor will be part of the memory you hold of this special day. We leave with her recipes and video instruction, and the confidence to make fresh pasta at home. No more boxed pasta for us! Thank you, Camilla!
There are not enough words for the hospitality and experience we had in the cooking class we took today. Camilla was the best host and a great teacher. The view and home were beautiful, the food was great and the recipes were simple. The wine and olive oil were also SO good! Cannot wait to make our own pasta and focaccia when we get home.
Wow! What an experience! We had such a wonderful time. Our host was wonderful. We enjoyed the view, cooking, wine and new friends we met. Best of all was eating what we made!
We found Camilla to be warm welcoming, and very knowledgeable. She taught us great recipes and techniques to take home with us. Her wine and olive oil were delicious. Wonderful experience!
Camilla was precious. The class setting overlooked her vineyard. Stunning view!!! Camilla showed us how to make 2 types of pasta, what type of flour to use for bread and what to use for pasta; very informative. We were able to sit as a family and eat what we made and drink her own wine. Absolutely amazing day!!! She also provided a cook book on what we did and videos. 10 out of 10. I look forward to seeing her again.
First off, I should say I never write reviews. Like Never. I still get crap from my kids about not leaving a review for our driver Luca who took us to Positano back in 2019. But we just left this amazing day with Camilla and her daughter Chiara and I couldn’t wait to write this. There were 10 of my family members ranging in age from 21 to 79 plus a cute couple from Australia in our group cooking class and everything was absolutely perfect. Camilla invited us into her lovely farm and was a patient, authentic and knowledgable teacher and made us feel totally at home. Oil olive and wines were farm to table and across the board excellent. She was bombarded with questions from my generally extremely inquisitive family and was very well prepared and coordinated with no lapses of time in between the different things we were learning to cook. It was so special to share a piece of an italian vineyard life and it was a day my family will cherish and remember forever. We have already decided we are going back for the truffle hunting experience next year! Grazie Mille Camilla!
Words cannot describe or express how much we enjoyed our visit. This cooking class is hands on, and Camilla is a wonderful teacher. She even took the time to show us how to make gnocchi, which is my daughter's favorite pasta. To top it off, we got to enjoy our food and the wine she and her husband make is just as good. She even shared a pdf of some of her recipes, and I admit I have already made a few since I returned home. this experience is one of my top highlights from our recent trip. I would recommend this to anyone who is going to be in the Florence area.
Authentic Tuscan Cooking Experience – A Day to Remember! We had the pleasure of joining a truly authentic Tuscan cooking class – and what an unforgettable experience it was! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with genuine hospitality and patience that made us feel right at home. Every dish was prepared with care and tradition, and we had the joy of making our own pasta from scratch – all while sipping on their delicious home-produced Chianti wine. The setting is serene and peaceful, nestled high up a gravel road that adds to the charm of the adventure. The views are stunning, the kitchen inviting, and the experience deeply personal. This is not just a cooking class – it’s a full immersion into the heart of Tuscany. A big chapeau to our hosts for such a beautiful day. Highly recommended!
Cami was delightful! We totally enjoyed our experience. If your driving just be aware that the drive is a little bumpy.
Camilla was the perfect guest and we had so much great authentic Italian food! Making pasta was so fun. The scenery is very picturesque and perfect. Good wine paired with each course! Fantastic and better than I ever anticipated.
We were traveling in a passenger van which made driving to the location a little treacherous. It was way up a dirt road with many potholes. Don't bring your low sports car! While overall we did enjoy our experience both the cooking and food it wasn't exactly what I thought we were getting especially for the price. The pictures are quite deceiving online making it look like a well-cared for, comfortable patio but it was very rough around the edges. The areas around the sort of paved patio were messy, full of weeds, old stuff here and there. Just a stark difference from the pictures. Part of our cooking was inside the kitchen, and it also wasn't neat or clean. Full of dirty dishes, next to fresh foods, next to bug spray, etc. That being said, the owner and cook was very nice and a good instructor. His wines were lovely, and we purchased quite a few to take with us. Plus, I appreciated him sending the recipes via email for us to make upon our return.
Camilla is a true professional. The class was very hands on, yet not too difficult for novices. The pasta and bread varieties we made were delicious, and we sat down to a beautiful lunch with wine pairings to enjoy the fruits of our labor. The setting was spectacular — an added bonus. It was our best day of several spent in Tuscany, and everyone in our group agreed (college grads and moms). Camilla is a true gem. ♥️
From the very beginning, Cami made us all feel special, and right at home. We made a variety of different breads and pastas, and she also made a dessert to go with our meal. The day included glasses of their own white and red wines, which were both delicious. The pastas we crafted were made into delicious dishes, for a fantastic Italian meal. It was the most enjoyable time, talking to the other guests (there were 12of us), and Cami and her daughter. We would definitely recommend Cofferi 1242!! Cami made it such a special day for us.
Camilla was a fantastic teacher and a gracious host for our group. She made cooking really fun for my wife and I, and I don’t typically like to cook. The food that came out was fantastic.
Camilla is so lovely, the good very tastefull and the view is incredible! We had a perfect day and are loking forward to make pasta at home
Camilla and here daughter are just amazing! Super friendly, great learnings and super delicious food and wine. Authentic farm and super nice atmosphere!
Fabrize and his son were amazing hosts and teachers. The food was amazing, the view was incredible, and their home grown wine and olive oil were a treat! Don’t skip this experience!
Great cooking class very informative and a wonderful host. Enjoyed the conversation about the farm and all the wonderful products produced there.
Camilla was a fantastic and gracious host and teacher. We felt so welcome at her family farm and in her outdoor kitchen. We visited with our family of four (including 2 kids, ages 8 and 11) and this was the perfect way to spend several hours. We all enjoyed making breads and pastas, trying the family’s wine and oils, and just relaxing and enjoying the gorgeous vistas. The view is breathtaking and the company was superb. Highly recommend this unique experience.
This cooking class was the highlight of our trip to Tuscany! Camilla was so wonderful and hospitable and we absolutely loved getting to learn to cook outside on her gorgeous farm overlooking the countryside. Everything was so delicious and the whole experience was so much fun 10/10!!!
Class was very informative and host was amazing. Food was excellent and vibe was very upbeat. Hosts went above and beyond to help us with some car trouble. Would highly recommend!
What a fun day! Camilla is a great host and amazing cook. She shared the art of bread making and homemade pasta on her family farm. A few glasses of the wine they produce and an outdoor, Tuscan lunch. Great day.
What a wonderful experience learning how to make homemade pasta and focaccia! Camila made us feel very comfortable and made the class fun! The setting where we enjoyed our meal was stunning, overlooking the vineyard and rolling hills. This was one of the most special and memorable experiences of all our time in Italy. Thank you Camila and family!
