This was a long day but a great day to see the sights. Peter was a lovely guide. Knowledgeable and helpful. An absolute gem driving us around and for being a champion for such a long day.

This day trip was fantastic! I looked at taking a combination of trains, buses and boats to fulfill visiting Cinque Terre with my wife but the logistics were too much. This was a perfect option that allowed us to sit back and enjoy the view from passenger seats while learning a lot about the history of every area we travelled through. Our guide, Grace, was super fun and knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. She even made reservations for us to have lunch in at a restaurant with spectacular views in Vernazza, quite special.

Wonderful way to spend a day outside the city! Cinque Terra was charming and authentic and the view from the boat helped put the many hilltop villages into perspective. I was surprised by how beautiful the leaning tower of Pisa was as photos really don't do its architectural details justice. The very best part of the tour was having Grace as our guide with a group small enough to ask her many questions about the entire area. She gave us dining tips, shopping tips, historical references and details I could never have gotten elsewhere. She was charming and informative and always had a smile on her face. One of my favorite guides in all of Florence! Really enjoyed this trip!

Stefano was a wonderful guide and excellent driver. Great to have only 8 people total. Drive is long but no realistic way to do and see what we did without a van and tourguide.

Gabriele was truly a one-of-a-kind tour guide, and I honestly don’t think we could have asked for a better person to guide us through this experience. Not only was he incredibly personable, patient, and kind, but his knowledge was IMPRESSIVE. There’s a huge difference between having someone simply point out different sights along the way and having a guide who can actually tell you the history, stories, facts, and context behind what you’re seeing. Gabriele knew so much about the areas we visited and Italy as a whole, and I genuinely walked away feeling like I had learned more from spending the day with him than I could have learned from sitting online researching everything myself. He also gave us so many great recommendations throughout the day and never made the experience feel rushed. You could tell that he genuinely knew the area and cared about making sure we had a memorable experience. A little advice for anyone booking this tour: wear comfortable walking shoes! You’ll definitely be doing some walking. I’d also recommend bringing a bathing suit and potentially a change of clothes. When you stop in beautiful Vernazza, you may absolutely find yourself wanting to get into that gorgeous water! I would do this entire tour all over again—not only because of all the beautiful places we were able to see, but because we had someone so wonderful guiding us along the way. Gabriele, thank you for your patience, your kindness, your recommendations, and for sharing so much knowledge with us. You truly made an already beautiful experience that much more special.

Definitely book this tour with Towns of Italy we had the best tour guide Heather our first stop was Manarola where we did a little hike, beautiful views of the coast then down into the city the seas were too rough so we were unable to go on the boat so we took the train over to Vernazza, which is just as beautiful Heather our guide got us a reservation in a watchtower of a restaurant so we could overlook the sea as we ate. It was so awesome than our trip back to Pisa for an hour was just enough time. The luxury vans are very comfortable with lots of great air-conditioning but the real gem here was our guide. He was so helpful understanding walked us through everything was patient knowledgeable and fun. He’s what made the trip so enjoyable your all together in a van for a long time

Our Tour guy Gabrielle was fantastic! We visited Maranola and then took a boat to Vernazza. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate and we got heavy rain and had to cut our time short in Vernazza. It was still a wonderful day!

Alessandro was a very informative guide - he was thorough, knowledgeable, and happy to answer any of our questions. The day was full. We were greeted by him at the meeting location, along with other tours heading out for the day. The scenery was gorgeous; we visited 2 of the 5 Cinque Terre villages. The small walk/hike was scenic along the ledges by the sea of the first stop. We took a trail to the boat; the seas were great, which made for an enjoyable boat ride. This ride was similar to the ferry ride from Sorrento to Amalfi (beautiful coast there too). The 2nd stop was nice - we had about 2-3 hours there - great for a nice lunch (we took Alessandro's lunch spot recommendation, and it was fabulous! Tell Alessandro you to go to the ravioli with walnut sauce restaurant - yum! The town was full of local souvenir shops - not much for real shops if that's your thing. Lots of great pics taken. We left there and went to Pisa. The stay there was an hour - you have enough time to climb the tower and get some fun Leaning Tower pics. Overall, great tour and highly recommend if you're wanting to explore the coast and get a chance to see the Leaning Tower. Tell them Christy sent you!

This tour is worth the money, there was ample time in Cinque Terre and Pisa. I enjoyed the tour and really felt like I was emerced in the experience of Italy. Our guide was clearly very knowledgeable about the area and explained many facts about the hiking trails. The "boat ride" wasn't exactly what I had in mind, it's the ferry that takes you from one area to the other so don't expect a small intamite setting on the boat ride, it's a public ferry. Nonetheless, our guide made it seemless to travel from one area to the next.

This was the most beautiful tour of Cinque Terre! Our guide was so knowledgeable and fun. The drop off & pickup was simple and the views at each stop were amazing!

I had a wonderful time and discovered parts of Italy I didn't know existed! Our guide Francesco also shared a lot of interesting facts about italian culture and this region in particular, he took great care of us. I was solo traveling and this tour allowed me to wander at my pace while also covering different activities / sites on the same day. I totally recommend it :)

Franchesco was very friendly and informative. We easily found our small group at the meeting point. From there we had a lovely air conditioned ride to Cinque Terra in a van. The views were truly breathtaking. We finished our trip with a walk up the leaning tower of Pisa which not to be missed. We had a wonderful day trip. Thank you, Franchesco!

Beautiful Excursion! Our tour guide, Federico, was amazing; very knowledgeable, went above and beyond to make sure our experience was memorable. We were very pleased, and we are glad we decided to do this tour, everything was just as promised and scheduled; a wonderful experience for couples and families. We highly recommend this tour. You should bring comfortable shoes. Also just a side note: we brought our swimsuit and decided to take a little swim in the Ligurian Sea.

We did a day trip to Cinque Terre with our guide Haider who was awesome. He had the perfect combination of knowledge and being real. He shared he personal experiences and the culture of people and Italy - not just standard speeches around the sites. A funny personal guy. Loved him! Also he set us up with an incredible table for lunch in Varnazza that would never have happened without being part of this tour! Best lunch of our two week trip! He knew everyone. So great. Can't recommend him or this tour enough.

Our guide’s Haider & Claudia were truly amazing!! Couldn’t have had a better experience. Just beautiful and the best food in all of Europe with fresh fresh seafood. July is very very hot. Be advised. But well worth seeing 🍋🫒🫶
