Chianti Wine Tour With Tastings Semi-private Experience

This was a fantastic day with Romana! She was knowledgeable, friendly, and a helpful guide around the hills of Tuscany. Every stop was unique, and we enjoyed the different explanations of Chianti that each winery offered. We were extremely happy that we upgraded to the semi-private experience because it was us and one other couple, and it felt very exclusive and personal. It was a great way to take a break from the crowds of Florence. Highly recommended!

He was friendly, welcoming, and happy to answer all the questions my wife and I had. The winery experience was fantastic, with delicious wines and warm, welcoming wineries. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Florence who wants to escape the city centre, explore the stunning countryside, and learn more about the region’s wine and olive oil traditions. My husband and I had a blast on this tour. Probably our favorite tour during our time in Florence. The number of wineries was prefect, the time allocated at each was excellent and more importantly our driver, Peter, was fabulous. Not only did he get us from each place safely, he was very knowledgeable about wine and olive oil making. Whenever we come back to Italy again, we hope Peter is part of one of our tour days!

We loved the day from start to finish! We went to 3 wineries each very different from each other, and got to experience atleast 3 wines per visit. We enjoyed a Tuscan lunch at the second winery which was excellent. Would highly recommend the small group as we got to know each other better and had a more personal tour.

Peter was an excellent guide! The wineries were thoughtfully picked for quality and location. Short trips to each winery made for an easy day, and the views were amazing! To top it all off, each location was vegetarian friendly.

This was a great tour! Our driver Federico was amazing! We didn’t have a tour guide but didn’t need one. Each host at all 3 wineries were welcoming and knowledgeable about the vineyard history, wines, and olive oils. The lunch provided was delicious however it was not enough food to be considered a meal. The other wineries offered no food except small pieces of bread to sample the olive oil. The views, the wine, and the overall experience was simply incredible!

We did this tour and another where we visited 3 towns with our guide and driver Gabrillel, who was witty and very knowledgeable about the places we were visiting. I have learned a lot about the history of Italy, and about wine making, and much more. Pisa was beautiful, as is the countryside of Tuscany. Florence too is beautiful. Met some friendly people on the tours, and had an amazing time exploring some of the stunning scenery in Italy. I highly recommend Towns of Italy for tours in many Italian cities/towns and more.

My family and I had a wonderful day, as our guide, Grace was exceptional. She is very insightful, accommodating, has great candor, and she made the day fun for us all. The vineyards were so beautiful and interesting...and the wine, ah the wine! Truly special and the hosts at all 3 were awesome. I am so impressed with your company, as we experienced a Lasagna class with Chef Tomas yesterday. The level of professionalism of your staff is top notch. Five in group so good size, boutique vineyards were interesting and gave some excellent results in tasting. Guide was very helpful and knowledgeable and made the experience. Would thoroughly recommend.

Checco was an amazing guide!! We did the private couples winery tour and we both learned so much! We stopped at three wineries, did tastings, learned about production, saw an olive oil mill, and had a delicious traditional Tuscan lunch. Our guide also made stops along the way to talk about history and facts about the area based on what we were interested in. Highly recommend this tour if you want a private and personalized tour of a piece of Tuscany!

Went on this tour with Daria to three wineries. Amazing! Was a solo woman traveler and everyone was friendly and welcoming. Daria was a wealth of knowledge and obviously proud of her region. I know so much more now not only about wine but also Tuscany and terracotta! Enough time at each winery and a great meal with wine matched to it. Highly suggest, particularly if you are in Florence alone but want to be with others for a day.

Claudia was terrific! we went to several different types of wineries to get a feel for the Chianti region. We had a very talkative group (…drunk!!) and Claudia did a great job of letting us have fun but also managing our time appropriately. It was a memorable and lovely day.

Daria our driver / guide was amazing! Very knowledgeable and great to talk with. She made us all very comfortable and made it a fun trip. We had such a great time sipping wine at the two wineries we visited, rose, whites l, Teracotta aged, Chianti varieties. So good! Also great food at the second stop. Dinner was fantastic. We really enjoyed the people we met as well. By the end of the tour we all felt like family! Highly recommend this tour!

We had an amazing experience!!! We went to three great wine vineyards. They poured almost full glasses of wine during the tastings. The drive between Vineyards was quick and easy. We chose the semiprivate tour of maximum eight people, and it was perfect!
