Chianti Wine Tour From Florence To San Gimignano With 2 Wineries

Nice drive through Chianti region. Like the wineries and tasting but not so much the lunch at the 2nd vineyard at the price of 70€. We really were not given a choice whether to purchase lunch or not. It was our fault but I didn’t remember that lunch was extra so I as surprised how much it was.

We had a wonderful day and experience with Luigi!! He did every aspect of his job exceptionally well throughout our 9 hour day with him touring wine vineyards and other attractions. Very knowledgeable about the Florence region and its history! We HIGHLY recommend!!

Gino was great! Before the trip Gino was very communicative about the day and types of wineries we’d we visiting. The day went very smoothly and we saw some great places. Highly recommend as it’s a great way to escape the hustle and bustle of the city for a day!

This wine tour was incredible!! Our guide & driver, Luigi was so fabulous. He gave us a lot of history about the area, gave us insight of other things to do, and was an amazing conversationalist!! We visited 2 wineries, although both very different, each were amazing in their own way. I would recommend this to anyone who likes/loves wine!

Luigi was the best tour guide! He is so knowledgeable and kindhearted. We had the best time ever. Winery’s were amazing so and the lunch was awesome.

This company and guide were more than happy to customize our tour a bit for us. We loved San Gimignano, climbed the stairs and ladder in the town hall and were treated with the best view in our lives. From there off to Pisa for a short but very enjoyable time. Our diver found us a great family restaurant near Lucca for a late lunch and then back to Florence. It was a special day.

We had a wonderful day touring the Tuscan countryside with Gino. We had door to door service from our hotel in Florence. On our way to San Gimignano he suggested a stop at the Florence American Cemetery which was a beautiful and moving experience. We spent some time in San Gimignano and then proceeded to a beautiful winery for tastings and lunch. All along the way Gino explained the history and culture of the area. At the end of our day he stopped for us at Piazza Michelangelo for a beautiful view of the city. Great driving and personable service! Gino is the best!

The wine tour was amazing. Great views, food and wine! Gino was our guide, and he did an amazing job explaining the history of Italy and the wines, and making sure we had a very enjoyable time! He included quick stops at scenic Tuscany photo locations, and made sure we received the most of out tours. Would definitely recommend!

Our group of 4 had a really wonderful private day tour from Florence to Sienna, wine tasting with a delicious lunch at a small winery in the Chianti region, then finishing in the picturesque hill town of San Gimignano. Gino was punctual, kind and very informative/ knowledgeable about Florence and the Tuscan region. The van is very comfortable and a smooth ride, and we are very please we opted for this smaller, boutique tour, rather than a larger group style tour. If you have 3-4 days or longer in Florence this is a great way to see some of the countryside and beautiful regional towns. It was a very relaxing and pleasant day and we would highly recommend Gino for any of his tours.

We fell in love with Italy on our very first day— thanks to Gino and this personally guided tour of Tuscany. We fell in love with the countryside, the historic sites, the wines, the olive oil, … and most importantly, the Italian people. Gino is knowledgeable, friendly and incredibly thoughtful. We had a wonderful day with Luigi and it was the highlight of our trip. Luigi took my family (my husband and three kids ages 16, 18 and 20) . I had asked him to drive us around and basically create a memorable day and he certainly did. He selected two fabulous wineries- and even took us to an American cemetery that everyone really enjoyed. He was chatty friendly, a safe driver, and took us late to Pisa so we could get pics before heading to our next hotel. I would recommend Luigi to anyone and I’d trust his opinion on the wineries as well! Thx again!

This was, by far, our favorite day in Italy. Siena and San Gimignano were both lovely towns to visit and the countryside was absolutely beautiful. Our lunch at the winery was delicious and relaxing. Our tour guide did everything to ensure that we had a perfect day. We only wished we could have stayed longer!

Luigi (Gina) was an excellent driver—prompt, courteous and with great English. The brand-new car was luxurious. We appreciated the helpful videos, travel tips, water, and gift. Our family with 2 teens traveled from Florence to Pisa, San Gimignano (my favorite) a vineyard, and Sienna. For our first ever trip to Europe, this luxurious service allowed us to visit these destinations without the stress of multiple transfers or lost time. Ideally, one would make 1 fewer stop, but each family member had a destination in mind. Try the champagne gelato at Dondoli’s. My one teen had an amazing mango sticky rice Thai flavor. Being from the states, I was worried about not having a pre-paid deposit, but everything went perfectly with great communication. Thank you!

We recently used Limousine Tours in Chianti for a custom itinerary. We were picked up in Florence at our hotel, driven to Pisa to explore for a couple hours, then to Lucca to visit the town and have lunch all route to our final destination a Villa in Tuscany. Our driver was prompt, courteous and very accommodating. Do not hesitate to reach out to them to create your perfect day. Quick response via email and the what’s up app. My only ask would be that the driver provide insight & information along the way to make the trip interesting.

One of our favorite days of our trip to Italy was led by Gino on our Chianti Wine tour, San Gimignano and Sienna. Gino went above and beyond to make our day fabulous. This started with his generosity to pick up a mobility scooter for my husband to make his day easier. We would not have been able to enjoy our day without this assistance and he went out of his way to assist us in this matter. Our day started off in a beautiful, air-conditioned Mercedes SUV traveling to a U.S. cemetery which was breathtaking. After that we were able to watch a great travel video about the history of Sienna and the famous horse race. Communication was excellent and we always knew where and when he would pick us up to travel to the next destination. At each stop, Gina was kind enough to take the scooter out of the trunk and set up for us. The lunch at the vineyard/farm was delicious as it was beautiful. We met 3 generations of the family during our quant visit. Our last stop was San Gimignano which was amazing. Gino recommended the best spot to get Gelato and made sure we got some scenic pictures as he took our picture atop the hill overlooking the Tuscan valley. He even surprised us at the end with a bottle of white wine which I had mentioned I enjoyed. Because I had his contact information, I was able to contact him for a ride at 4:00 AM for my daughter and her classmates who needed to get to the airport safely during a very busy time in the city. I felt safe and confident my daughter would be taken care of. Highly recommend this kind, professional and information driver! Gino did a great job showing us the Tuscan wine region. He was very knowledgeable and had some entertaining stories. He also tailored our experience to the groups interest and was flexible in going with the flow. Plus the wine tour was absolutely amazing. I would definitely recommend this tour and this guide.

We, a family of 4 (2 -adults and 2 teenagers) spent a fantastic day with Gino touring Tuscany. We went to Sienna , San Gimignano and had a lunch at a fabulous family winery. Firstly, Gino has a fantastic new car that was set up to allow us all to face forward. It was very roomy and had great aircon and a video screen that provided some insights to the area. Gini himself was very easy going giving us recommendations and insights but also happy to have some quiet time. I would say it was one of our best days in Italy and I would highly recommend it!

It's the third time my family and I have gone on vacation in Tuscany, and it's the third time that we've booked a tour with Luigi, and I can say that we never had any problems. Luigi was amazing as usual. We had the chance to visit some spectacular wineries near Chianti and taste amazing wine with an incredible view.
