Best Of Florence: City Highlights Guided Tour

Sofia our tour guide and claudio our driver are very good. They cater to our needs promptly. Sofia’s instructions where and when to meet for the meeting place is very clear and she gives a lot of information / history of the places were about to see.

Got to meet point 20 minutes early. Waited 30 minutes. No sign of guide. No people in area holding signs of indicating they were a guide. Checked and was 100% in the right place. Waited 30 minutes than another 30 minutes responding to emails saying the guide was trying to phone me. My phone didn't ring once. Complete let down. Only got 1 star because I can't give zero.

The guide’s Spanish was ok but difficult to follow some times The tour lasted one hour, we were expecting more things to see

The tour company, My Tour in Italy, is not reputable and professional. My group arrived at the meeting location on-time and proceeded to find to group. The location is a statue in very large Square in the middle of the of Florence. But we still couldn't find the tour guide or group. They could have offered communication to the route, but no. They could have offered to reschedule, as I request, but no. They simply ceased all communication. They take your money and disappear. Bad rep for a beautiful city.

Highlights were pointed out. Friendly guide but accent was thick. Can accomplish same with a street map.

Our guide never showed up. We also were not able to contact them at all. We were contacted late that they were at the meeting point and they couldnt find us which was funny because we had been waiting at the meeting point for over 25minutes. I had received no calls, texts, or emails from them. I requested a refund because of this.

The walk was excellent. Our guide Gloria was very knowledgeable and gave us great tips for places to visit in our own time.

Isabella was great - very knowledgeable and entertaining. Took a slow pace that suited the group. All very interesting.

Our guide was excellent! She explained all so well and was clearly passionate about her city. We felt included as if we were part its history. She presented a mix of knowledge and warmth for us as visitors. We took 4 tours while in Florence, but this walking tour was our favorite. The tour was only 45 minutes whereas it was advertised as being one hour The tour guide was pleasant but failed to really engage with the audience and spoke too fast. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a guided tour

I had the tour with Emanuela Alercia. She was spectacular. I was having some issues with my reservations, and she helped smooth everything over. She was also a very good guide!

During our stay in Florence, we had a walking tour which was included in the Florence City Pass. Our tour guide was Oxana, who gave us an excellent overview through the history of Florence and the birth of the Renaissance. She made sure we understood all the information and answered all our questions. One can see that she gave the tour not because of her job but because she is passionate about the history and loves to guide and teach others. Highly recommended 👏

Firenze is so beautiful! Walking tours are so great to get a lay of the land!! This was my third time in Florence (first time with family) and I learn new things on this walking tour. Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable.

A good tour of Florence for your first day. Marco was very friendly and could answer the extra questions. The tour of 1h is a bit short but enough if the weather is very warm.

Unfortunately we were a little disapponted as we got no real overview over the citys history but rather a few quick lines to the most important buildings. Also the guide was talking while walking- which made it hard to follow faved with thousands of tourists in the street. Even free sights were not shown from the inside..... Also the english accent was not so good and no headphones. The guide was very nice though.

I booked a city tour of Florence through CAF Tour & Travel. It was AMAZING! My guide was Margarita, and she was so friendly and accommodating. A guided visit of the outdoor Duomo complex, & Galleria dell’ Accademia to see the famous David by Michael Angelo.

Unfortunately I missed the name of our guide, a Florence local whose passion for history and the arts was clearly evident. The hour and a half tour absolutely flew by, but it was the perfect intro to the history of the City and prepared us with appropriate background knowledge for visiting the various museums thereafter.

Our guide didn'r speak english well and it seemed he was always looking for words. He didn't have any aids so we could hear him better so a lot of what he said got lost in the background noise. His knowledge about Florence wasn't wide as I expected and he didn't provide an interesting tour and all we wanted is for the tour to be over.

<p>Of all the tours I took in Italy, this was my least favorite. Unlike the other tours, we were not provided headsets. There were about 30 people on the tour and the guide had a microphone that amplified her voice. Considering we were walking through the noisy, crowded downtown area, my wife and I were only able to catch about 20 of what the guide actually said. On top this, the guide did not wait for the group and rushed from one site to the next.</p>

<p>You just never know what you'll get with a paid tour. Our tour guide was difficult to hear through her microphone. No one was really listening to her. She would keep us in the same spot for 15-20 min. You could tell she had a lot of information but her delivery was not very good.</p>

<p>Wonderful tour. Our tour guide, Giulian, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and entertaining. This was a nice introduction to the city and showed us the major points of interest as well as informed us about a lot of the history of the area.</p>

<p>This was a great tour! The tour guide Gulio I'm not sure if I have his name correct was very easy to understand and his stories about Florence history were interesting. This was the perfect amount of time for a walking tour and kept my attention the entire time, it was not too long or short. Because it is a shorter tour, you do not get to see all of Florence obviously, but it is a great introduction to the city and its history! I would recommend this tour.</p>

<p>Superb whistle stop tour of Florence's highlights. Meeting place was a little difficult to find the street has red and black numbers. Omar walked at a fast pace, but showed us everything we needed to see in 90 minutes. An excellent orientation tour or cruise ship visitors on a day visit. If I had longer, I would have booked a longer tour from this company</p>

I took part with a group of six friends in a guided tour, already booked in advance by a friend of ours, with the guide Manuel. It was an experience that I would describe as magnificent, as we found a person friendly , pleasant , but above all very knowledgeable about the history of Florence , a lover of rare culture with an extraordinary ability to communicate that fascinated each of us. We were amazed at the inexhaustible source of news , never trivial nor boring , proposing an interaction with each of the participants and answering all our questions and curiosities. We saw Florence through different eyes and understood the history of some works visited in the previous days.

The guided tour of the historic center of Florence was a highlight of our Florence stay, which was certainly due to our guide Oksana. Entertaining and knowledgeable, she presented us with stories and anecdotes about Florence and the Medici - and carried us away with her enthusiasm for the history, culture and art of her hometown. When Oksana made a short narrative "trip" to Siena and the horse races there via the Medici coat of arms, we participants were already mentally planning the next trip to Tuscany. Thank you for the lovely experience we can recommend from the bottom of our hearts.

Wonderful experience, 2 hours that flew thanks to our guide Manuel. Prepared, funny, funny and with professional entertainment skills. It made us passionate about the history of Florence and the Medici. Recommended

On January 26th we booked a package to Florence including a walking tour of the city centre. It 'was a wonderful experience our guide Manuel showed us and told the most interesting stories of the main monuments of the city in a clear, funny and with anecdotes always very interesting and rich in details.
