The instructor was great but the conditions were not the best. The bathroom was awful and dirty. The chicken didn’t go with the rest of the meal. It wasn’t authentic Italian like the pasta that was done. The best was the people we had in our group.
So wonderful! We made ravioli, gnocchi, fettuccini and pannacotta from scratch. Location and kitchen were perfect. Chef owner was a first rate, entertaining instructor. The food was delicious. If you are even thinking about it, book it!
Food was delicious. Environment was very loud. Hard to hear instructors Not unlimited wine—only have wine once all the cooking is done and each table for 2 bottles to share with 10 people so about a glass each Instructors seemed like they weren’t having fun and just wanted to start their weekend
The chief the place the food everything was just perfect! If you’re looking for a fun spot to do a cooking class without the fuss and buss is really leaving the city of Florence and heading deep into the countryside this is great experience
This was experience we will cherish forever. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The chefs were very nice and helpful. This was a highlight of our tour to Florence
Fantastic experience ...lots of laughs with other travellers. Learn basic pasta making skills. Lots of time to interact with other travellers from a round the globe
Pasta class was delicious. Fun from start to finish. Learned how to make fresh pasta, had lots of laughs and enjoyed incredible food . Enjoyed some wine too!
What an enjoyable class! Chef Francesco was a great instructor with a great sense of humor. We learned how to make tagliatelle, ravioli and gnocchi. We also learned some useful tips for making bolognese sauce and cutting vegetables. All in our party of 4 enjoyed this experience.
Very thorough and organised cooking class My mother and I were very lucky there was only another couple in our group which made it very intimate and relaxing We got to learn quite a few ways of making different sources and different pastas with an added chicken dish as our main and a pancotta for dessert
The chef Stephano was amazing! A fantastic chef and a marvelous teacher. He instructed us in detail about the foods we used and cutting techniques. He made the class fun!
This was fantastic! We learned so much and had fun! Chef Stefano was accommodating, taught in multiple languages, and gave us time to enjoy the experience. An excellent memory for our group!
This was such an amazing time! It was our favorite thing we have done in italy so far. So kuch fun, and we learned a lot!
Excellent experience: fun and friendly. Francesco was very knowledgeable and eager to share his tips and tricks. The food we made was delicious. I highly recommend this class.
What a fantastic family experience. This is a must do while in Florence. The kids had a blast as we. Our chef was so knowledge and patient with our group.
3 hours of fun playing with food. Our guide, L1vio, was.very knowledgeable and explained everything with ease
I still think about this class. It was very fun and some of the best food I had in italy. It was very hands on and informative.
Such a fun experience and very well done. Lino was an excellent teacher. Food was sooo good. Can’t wait to go home and use the recipes.
It was great! We learned and laughed a lot. Drank some prosecco and red wine. It was a wonderful family thingy
Absolutely fantastic! We sat with a family of four so there were only 6 in our group. We made ravioli, gnocchi and fettuccine along with several sauces and then were served our pasta. We also made panne cotta which was delicious. Our favorite tour. I would highly recommend!
Chef went step by step showing us how to make dough for ravioli, fettuccine n gnocchi n the sauces to go with them. You get to make the pasta yourself n help prepare the sauces. Lots of fun. Then you sit down to eat with a bottle of wine.
This is a must do experience if you have the time! So much fun, chef was so informative and helpful. We made so much food! I think we all surprised ourselves how well it all turned out, and learned some simple techniques that are easy to replicate. Chef even supplied us with all the recipes to take home with us. Truly worth it!
After being at other cooking classes in Italy this one was not that good. It appeared to be understaffed for the amount of food that they were trying to teach to the group how to make. The girl who was teaching was rushed and seemed a bit confused at times. But I believe she did a good job for being, to me, understaffed.
My wife and I attended and add a great evening. There were 12 people in total and we learned how to make fettuccine, ravioli and gnocchi pasta as well as a bolognese meat sauce, the ravioli filling and a creamy dessert. After that, we all ate what we had created together and couldn't believe that we had just made this delicious food ourselves! It was a fun away of meeting other visitors and pasta lovers from all over the world.
I went last year as a solo and this year 9 of my Family came with me including 5 of my nieces and nephs and they had such a fabulous time. The adults too had an amazing time, especially the wine and food at the end 😋....It's very professional luin(?) our chef/teacher was amazing zing again, 2nd time round. Cheers Luke and Aussie Fam
Awesome class! So much fun making your own authentic food and eating it! Easy recipes to follow at home with our very own recipe booklet to bring home. Our chef was very clear and easy to follow. Definitely recommend!
our cook was amazing! She really cared about what she was teaching. I advise everyone to do this, so much fun! The price is worth it
It was a well structured, fun experience with lots of helpful tips relating to authentic Italian cooking. Not made the pasta at home yet but the written recipes given at the end will help. My 13 and 15 year old boys also enjoyed it and they were kept engaged throughout. To top it off, we all sat together at the end to enjoy our own cooking with good wine. Thank you!
Fantastic pasta class with Francesco. We had a lovely family experience and meal. We've learnt how to make pasta, sauces and some other cooking tricks. Getting the written recipes to practice at home is a must.
Amazing experience! I learned so much! Pasta making: gnocchi, fettuccine and ravioli. Sauces: Ragu for the gnocchi, Butter & Sage (salvia) for the spinach ricotta ravioli, and tomato for the fettuccine. Francesco shares his knowledge and puts you at ease. It’s a fun learning experience. He exceeded expectations and delights you with an amazing class of preparation, technique and skill culminating into a feast not only for eyes but the body and soul! Grazie mille, Francesco!
This was a wonderful cooking class and Chef Francesco was awesome! He made the class fun and taught us many tips and tricks. The class was easy to follow and sharing our meal at the end with all the classmates was wonderful. Chef Francesco speaks many languages so all students participated 100% and no one felt left out. Highly recommend this class.
Great and fun activity for the family specially during a hot day! The chef was super nice, great at explaining and the recipes were delicious. Even my 10 year old son loved it. Can’t wait to go home and make it for our family and friends there. Clean facilities too!
This was a fun cooking class. Our chef was informative and there was just the right amount of hands on action. Our pasta turned out great and we had a nice meal at the end. We were paired with a solo traveler, which was fine. Just know if your party isn’t an even number you’ll have to make friends.
My husband and I had a lovely time learning to make Italian pasta, gnocchi, pasta sauce and panna cotta. We met other couples from around the world and had a very enjoyable evening. Our instructor was very friendly, fun and knowledgeable.
Really fun way to meet other travelers and learn something new along the way! Class was approachable and engaging. A/C kept us cool even in 101 degrees fahrenheit. So glad we did this!
A fun experience, to either learn from the start or improve your skills. My grandson loved it, his first time trying it and he can't wait to make pasta at home!
We had a wonderful time at this cooking class. Livio was delightful and we will surely be going home and try to make this ourselves. We would highly recommend this class.
Great class…. Easy to do but yummy!!! Definitely worth it. Nothing more to say but I have to type 100 characters
The chef was amazing and the group we cooked with were such good people. My husband and I loved this excursion for our honeymoon and are so excited to take what we learned from this class and do it in our own kitchen! Would highly recommend!
Was one of the highlights of Florence and a must do if you visit the city! Instructors were nice, helpful and fun.
Loved the experience—fun co-wannabe chefs, delightful teacher, delicious food, recipes to go. Highly recommend!
Loved this class and the price was very reasonable. Our instructor was very knowledgeable and had great cutting tips.
We learned a lot about how to make different pasta’s in a nice setting, and they gave us the recipe book before leaving! The chefs and other attendees were all very friendly.
The class was one of the best we've been to. We had a lot of laughs and learned how to make different dishes. Definitely something great to do.
Chef Francesco was a hoot! Entire family had a fantastic time making pasta and picking up additional cooking tips. My kids insist that the pasta we had that evening (three types) was the best pasta they ate during our entire trip - and we had our fair share of pasta from some highly-rated establishments! Highly-recommend this experience while in Florence.
Myself and my husband did the authentic pasta class today with Chefactory in Florence today. Noami was our chef/ teacher. She was a really excellent teacher. She showed as well as explained everything so clearly. We were so pleased with our first efforts at making pasta, gnocchi, ravioli and ragu. The we sat down and enjoyed it for our lunch.
We had the very best time with Chef Giacomo this week. The food, the company, the class-music/wine, all 100 percent! We walked in strangers, and walked out friends.
What a wonderful experience and a fun way to spend a cold, January evening! Best part was, we only had 3 people in our class! We learned so many helpful tips from our chef. He’s brilliant and is so passionate about cooking…he even has food tattoos on his arms! 😂 We cooked, we ate, we drank, we learned. Highly recommend this class! Grazie mille!
Our chef was a fantastic at showing us how to create pasta and the many intricacies of doing it the way Italians make it. We enjoyed making three different pastas. Ravioli, fettuccine, and gnocchi. We did it all and do this again. Truly a wonderful experience.
If you’ve got the time…DO IT, you won’t be disappointed! One of the major highlights of our vacation. Our teacher was exceptional, patient, everything was so well executed. Can’t wait to try out what we’ve learned & hopefully do our instructor proud. Also we were extremely lucky to have such a wonderful group to cook with!!
